A restaurant in the historic center of beautiful Chiavenna. On a business trip, I enjoyed an exceptional business lunch. Yes, I enjoyed, in addition to the excellent food, the attentive and exceptionally friendly service. We ate outdoors, with a view of a corner of the historic center.

Visited 26/08/2025. Restaurant looked very smart and quaint but we sat outside in the small Square. The young servers that tended to us were very friendly, polite, efficient and patient. Our food was delicious, I had the ham ravioli and it was lovely but I tried a little of my wife's Beef Stew Lasagne and it was delicious! I also tried a little of the Gnocchi Carbonara and that was also excellent. For dessert I had the Tiramisu and it was delightful, the cream was so good! Reasonable prices along with the good service and quality make this a place to be considered should you be staying in Chiavenna.

Fabulous position with glorious views out over the valley. We had a lovely lunch with good quality, delicious food. And the service was amazing. We had a query on the bill which was graciously sorted immediately. If I could give 6 stars for customer care I would!

Probably one of the best lunches I've ever had. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, small and quiet place with an amazing view. Definitely the sort of restaurant you go to with a conscious choice of spending some time and waiting for good food. The salad was "tender", the primi were amazing and the chicken was unlike anything I've ever had. Best of all, it was actually cheap even compared to other food we've had in Italy and it was well worth the visit. A hidden gem! Bravo!

On a whim, we decided to ascend the mountain from Chiavenna to Pianazolla. Well worth the detour! Fabulous views on the way up and a very pleasant surprise in Osteria Micheroli. The food was excellent. Pizzoccheri di Pianazzola with home made pasta was terrific as was the wine. The view overlooking Chiavenna is breathtaking.

Traditional menu with a touch of innovation. Exceptional wine list. Absolutely reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Stunning views. To get there, you pass through this small village with its breathtakingly beautiful corners. It was a wonderful evening.

Descend a few steps and you find yourself on a small terrace with a breathtaking view of Chiavenna... of the snow-capped Alps with a sky that seems to stretch out to infinity. The restaurant is small and welcoming... our table was intimate and directly overlooked... the dusk slowly warms the valley with its colors, then evening falls and the fairy lights illuminate the valley, filling your eyes with warmth. The staff was kind, attentive, and very helpful... the menu is well-balanced; there aren't a lot of dishes, but you'll find the right ones... those that please the eye and the palate... the local amaro is also excellent. For a quiet, intimate evening, you can tackle the hairpin bends and stroll through the village to reach this "pearl" nestled along the Alpine coast and surrounded by typical, quaint houses.

Osteria Micheroli, synonymous with excellence and quality, locally sourced ingredients, nestled in the charming village of Pianazzola, is a small oasis where you can relax on the terrace with a stunning view of Chiavenna, sampling the local food and wine delicacies. The chef expertly and innovatively reinterprets classics such as venison tartare enhanced with crispy puffed buckwheat and anchovy mayonnaise (pictured), and much more! Highly recommended! 😋
