The staff was super welcoming and helpful with ordering. I didn’t know what to get and they made a great recommendation. The execution of the cute drink was not only perfect but very tasty! I included photos of their menu just in case, because the pictures were also helpful. Will definitely be coming back to try more and recommend you do too!

For sure the best boba place in Chico and is a must try for newcomers. Though they don't have a wide variety of boba as of yet, their food makes up for it. It's a fun hangout spot for friends because of the games and vibe. Definitely a place I would back n forth for, worth the try!

Folks here are really sweet, but you also can order from a screen so it keeps the atmosphere chill, quiet, but still really bright and pleasant. The drinks are damn yummy! This place is good for introverts and extroverts alike.

This place is my favorite. Every time we come in, the music is chill and the staff is genuinely welcoming. Drinks are made fairly quick and I swear they just keep getting better. The creme brûlée drink is my latest go to. I give Project Tea 10 stars! 🙌🏼

I watched them renovate the shop that had been there before. They really did well with their space. It feels very open and inviting. The atmosphere is mellow, they have music playing. There is a game shelf so you can chill, enjoy your drinks with your friends, study. Ordering is all electronic. There are two(2) counter kiosks where you can place your order. Kiosks are card only, but they accept cash at the counter. Drinks range 4.99 for the small/medium and 5.99+ for the larges. There are some salad and small pastry options available as well. Super pleased with my Ube Slush. I coupled it with brown sugar Boba. So yummy. I will be going back again.(Their lids have a little plug for the spout so it doesn't spill immediately. Genius!)

Love this boba spot, order in the screen was super easy and all of their menu item comes with clear descriptions and labeled if it’s vegan, dairy etc. The vibe is very welcoming and feels uplifting. Love their HK milk tea it reminded me some of the ones I had in Hong Kong. I would consider this my go to spot for boba!

I cannot get enough of their drinks! Everything is delicious and well worth the money. I’ve never been disappointed or dissatisfied but I happened to take a friend that was a bit more picky than me and she was unsure about her order. The cashier ensured her if she doesn’t like it they could try making her something different, but she loved it!

I ordered online and picked it up. I ordered an oolong boba drink, and it tasted like normal balck tea. I'm a little bit disappointed.

For drinks my girlfriend got the Strawberry Jasmine and I got the Salted Black with Fried Brown Sugar Boba. Pretty good as for food got eggpuff and spicy chicken. Eggpuff was okay tasted too much like egg and the chicken was good with the sweet chili sauce.

Disappointed. There was no one in the store, but it took them 10 minutes to make my drink because they decided that this was a great time to train their worker. While they were working on my drink, the worker kept asking questions about how to make my drink and the worker training her said that they just “eye ball” things. When I got the drink, it looked nothing like Thai iced tea and tasted like water. Complete waste of money! Train your workers on your own time, not on other’s time and money.

Update 6/20/25: Unfortunately, I have to give 1 star due to a complete lack of communication. I reached out five days ago via phone, email, and Facebook, but never received a response. One of the teas in our order was rancid—likely due to spoiled milk or creamer. I attempted to resolve the issue but got no reply. Very disappointing experience. I loved the self order system. The drinks were great 5/5, the popcorn chicken was amazing 5/5. Service 5/5. Unfortunately the bubble waffle only get’s a 2/5 from me.. the batter just doesn’t taste great like i’ve had in the past at other places. Funky bland flavor, not sweet enough.

I ordered Avocado with brown boba sugar, but the taste of avocado smoothie like water, no taste. I really hope it was good so I can come back again, but I wont come here anymore
