Love the food, the ambience, the friendly and helpful staff. We forgot how big the portion is in central and north of Spain. Luckily, our lovely waiter reminded us and we didn't order too much food.

La comida nos ha gustado mucho, como aperitivo cordero guisado en una salsa muy buena. Hemos pedido el tomate con ventresca (el aceite del aliño era superior), croquetas caseras, callos y alcachofas, para 4 más que suficiente. Y después la parrillada, la carne muy rica pero por el precio un poco escaso. Como postre el hojaldre, recomendado por Daniela, que se deshacía en la boca. Punto aparte ha sido el servicio, Daniela nos ha hecho la comida y la sobremesa amena y divertida, de verdad que da gusto encontrar personas que hacen bien su trabajo y se toman la molestia de sacar una sonrisa o una buena carcajada a sus comensales. Un acierto de sitio.

QUIÑONES (Chinchón): Reconozco que cuando vas a Chinchón lo típico, turístico y más habitual es comer en alguno de los Restaurantes de la bonita plaza y si es en sus balconadas mucho mejor; pero a veces viene bien adentrarse un poco más (en este caso, tampoco mucho), en el pueblo y conocer otros restaurantes típicos como este QUIÑONES, ubicado en la calle del mismo nombre en una casona del siglo XVI, con unas impresionantes cuevas (Las Cuevas del Murcielago), que merece la pena visitar después de una buena comida en la parte superior. Cierto que para personas mayores o con movilidad reducida, el Restaurante no es demasiado cómodo porque tiene bastantes escaleras, pero por lo demás está bien. Decir que, en general, nos ha gustado el sitio, por supuesto también la comida, (aunque las raciones no son muy abundantes), y la atención y rapidez en servirla. Éramos un grupo bastante grande y salvo algún comentario no demasiado destacable, la mayoría de la gente salió satisfecha. Imprescindible bajar a visitar las “Cuevas del Murcielago”, con ese montón de Tinajas, que aunque ya inservibles, reflejan la importancia vinícola de esta casa en otras épocas.

The food was very good. We ordered the black pudding, the spring garlic, and the shoulder of suckling lamb. Everything was delicious. They paid close attention to detail with the desserts. The service was excellent. I recommend it.

We came for drinks and then lunch. The atmosphere is divided into two areas: the bar staff are very friendly and attentive, but the cashier is very rude and indifferent when speaking with customers. It's a lovely place, it's a shame we didn't eat because of her. The service at the bar was very good, so we decided to stay and have beer, wine, and chorizo. In the bar area, they only offer chorizo ​​and morcilla. I wish the cashier were friendlier so we wouldn't feel bad about the poor service. I'll come back another time, hopefully with a different cashier so we can enjoy this lovely place.

We went for lunch on a holiday on July 25th, with a reservation. The service was good and very fast. The food was good (we didn't order anything out of the ordinary). We ordered croquettes because they had very good reviews, and they were right.

It's a decent restaurant for a weekend lunch, but it doesn't have anything particularly special to make it stand out from the other options in the area. I had the set menu for four, and the food was tasty, but the meat was served lukewarm. That said, the croquettes among the starters were quite good, one of the best. We might go back, but we're not sure. I've added photos of the set menu and the à la carte menu with prices as of April 2025.

Great service, great atmosphere and very good food. One small remark on how one of the meat dishes was cooked, we asked it a little more done, but it didn't have big effect on the overall experience.. Amazing little detail by the end of the meal, loved it..

It's been about a year and a half since we last had a meal here, and truth be told, the reunion has been a bit bittersweet. We were happy to see that some employees are still there after so many years. As for the food, to start, we ordered a portion of croquettes, delicious, a tuna belly salad, reasonable, and a portion of ear, quite good. For our main course, we ordered three large entrecotes, literally rare and rare, except for one, the rest were medium-rare, and we still ate them, or at least we tried, since two of them had almost more nerves than meat, and we left them half-eaten. Disappointing for me, who has eaten here more than a dozen times, and a disappointment for one of my companions, who was here for the first time. Since the first ones were reasonably good, I'm giving it three stars out of five, to be kind. Total: €119.15 The waiters were pleasant. If you found this review helpful, please let me know. La atención estupenda pero la comida muy muy mejorable. La comi por no dejarla pero no tenía sabor ninguno y el precio lo veo elevado para la calidad que ofrecen. También comentar que en el salón que estuvimos se estaba agusto porque no lo tenían muy lleno de gente pero una pena que los platos sean así…

The atmosphere is pleasant and the service quite good. The food, however, could be much better. The Quiñones soup wasn't bad, but the main courses were a disaster. The suckling pig, besides being served on a broken plate, was bland, completely tasteless. A disaster. The entrecote was quite bad, a generous cut of which half was raw meat, inedible. In short…it left much to be desired.

Pretty terrible. 22.50EUR for some very average supermarket ham cut with something like a chainsaw, a glass of terrible wine and a glass of beer. The beer was OK. The rest wasn't. If I'm paying that sort of money for jamón ibérico it had better be cut thin, succulent and probably bellota. While I was in there the barman was phoning out for a pizza for his supper. Say no more...
