Christie was awesome. Drinks did the job. Super chill atmosphere. Apparently karaoke on Thursdays. If you're looking for a low key night out, definitely a good choice.

I don’t know about the racist comments, I actually came here a few times and I would definitely come back. I’ve never experienced any racism, I do see that there are a lot of rude people who come in expecting and demanding too much from a dive bar. The bartender which I think his name was Chris was very nice. I also came in during one of their karaoke nights and that was a lot of fun too.

I went to this bar the only reason I went there because a retired PD was always waiting there and always had stopped by my house and left his business card at my door. Nevertheless I always did like that bar I liked Lisa Eddie and I also like the badges and amongst most PD agencies it all matters to me until I reach the top of the ranking officers military all in their uniform and it was all good I spent the night with them I try to fight off everybody else they wanted to get near him I even got x-rays and crutches to go along with that because I respect the uniform that much it was a sight to see. But there was one incident that I recall that this one woman thought she was able to physically hurt me in this bar I never did see the owner on I never did file charges against her but I declare I’m innocent and I will never ever let that happen to me or anybody else for that matter if I could. So if God was sought he would indeed the deficit would fall on ownership I’m willing to tell my story and there’s only a few people admire their the bar owner the foreign policy and the overhead judges overruling anything I’ve ever heard while sitting there in that bar amen so don’t use me in my head in my ears and tell me a fake story one that’s going to haunt me for the rest of my life but there is a man that sits and waits and can justify how I feel on this very day I believe in people who would pardon Michael in a heart beet justification is foreign proud to lead the child to believe white is his power to

Great spot for inexpensive beer. I have been coming here for a long time now. The karaoke is fun, I've only done it once when I got too drunk a while ago. They have a request list, so you can sign up to sing any song your heart desires. Not a place to go and have a conversation with someone on the weekends.

Sometimes they are good with their pours other times very stingy and I have been charged different prices for the same drinks and I've never been there during a Happy Hour.

It was a dark and seedy night.. My maid-of-honor took me here for my bachelorette party. It was just the two of us in our party. We sang karaoke, and she got hit on by two bar-fly regulars. The DJ reminded me of the DJ from The Wedding Singer. Vintage Classic Cheesy describes this place. It's a night you'll most likely remember. Stop in for a drink and drop a few notes and dance moves.

Used the debit card machine. Bad idea. I never take my debit card with me places. I almost never use it. I used it here one time and a few weeks later someone had made a duplicate of my card and started charging on it. Besides that, it's a good dive bar.

Truly disgusting to see how this establishment treats its customers. My friend was kicked out just because they're black and all the reviews show that it is not the first time they have done this and is likely not the last. How this place manages to have a rating this high astounds me.

I loved this bar for the atmosphere and ambiance however, things took a turn for the worse when I was aggressively approached by an old Caucasian woman in her 50-60's. She yelled at me for simply dropping a pool stick on accident, telling me that "it was the third time and it was no accident!", after my friend and I try to clear things up with the bartender in the most polite and professional manner, things then get uglier when the bartender (Caucasian male, baldish, 40s) sides with the woman and kicks us out of the bar. While asking for a reason as to why we are being asked to leave, the bartender murmurs "all chicanos are the same". IF YOU THINK I AM BEING BIASED OR MELODRAMATIC THEN PLEASE READ THE REST OF THE REVIEWS LEFT BY OTHER PEOPLE OF COLOR WHO WERE ALSO TREATED THE SAME.

Very bad experience, just moved to cali and went to drink here with a new friend. But the bartender who served us did not accept my foreign passport or my Utah driving permit. Meanwhile, didn’t even look at them! He also stated that I look too young while escorting is out. This has been the only time I’ve ever been kicked out anywhere for looking young.

Imho, the worst bar there is on 3rd. I've been here twice already and had nothing but bad experiences. Perhaps it is not my cup of tea, but I have also had bad experiences with the bartenders here. I've been to many bars and I can say with a good degree of certainty that there are better places to get better drinks on 3rd with the service and atmosphere to accompany it. If the loud bars (e.g bar sin nombre or 3rd punk ale) is not your style-- go to the many bars available on broad or even in downtown. The folks there are always a lot more inviting and prices are significantly better. I will not be back.

My recent visit was an absolute disgrace, marked by a sickening display of racism that left a bitter taste in my mouth, much like their dreadful drinks. Save yourself the trouble and AVOID THIS BAR like the plague. No one deserves to support an establishment that not only tolerates but actively perpetuates such repugnant behavior.

My friend was physically kicked by the drunk woman who runs the place while leaving the bathroom— there is no excuse for this kind of behavior. Do not support this business, please go to another bar.

The worst experience to ever have at a bar i don’t know if he was racist against hispanic or on something but the security gaurd throws out the lemons we were using and we told him we were still using that and he said it’s over there in the trash, then later we start asking him why you gotta act like that and he gets more aggressive and after a talk he gets more aggressive and then forcefully takes the beer out my hand and pushes me literally he pushes me trying to drop me from my chair and continues to push me and my friends after. mind you we were in there for 5 minutes and then we were kicked out. Mike ( bartender ) is the worst person to Make your drinks . It looks like he's always in a bad mood and gives you horrible customer service . And yesterday I went there to get drinks ... he wouldn't give me cherries after I even said I'll pay him extra if he put cherries in my drink and gave me a bad attitude . WARNING: This is a well-known cop hangout and the red-headed, tattooed, ridiculously-dressed bartender (Christie) likes to start trouble with any visitor she feels intimidated by. Do NOT be fooled into thinking this is any "regular" dive bar - it's NOT! This bar has more cops called on their "patrons" than any other bar in the area. STEER CLEAR.

The karaoke guy has like 6 signs with the QR code for his Venmo on them, and doesn't even ask if he can record your performance. I get that its a public space but you should give people the option to refuse before you start recording, i shouldn't have to ask while the song starts. The bartender likes to fling a coaster in front of you before he takes your order. its just like, why? he's ok though. At least he apologized after he spilled my drink on the counter in front of me. I get that its a dive bar and i don't expect impeccable service, but I've been coming here for years, left a tip after every drink I've ordered and never caused trouble so i thought I'd share my opinion on this public platform.

I calmly asked her why for there was absolutely no reason to not welcome me in. I wasn't wearing any clothing that represented any organization or team logos. Terrible service. I was very disappointed to not be at a place where I should be at home...

I honestly like this bar for its simplicity and unpretentious vibe, sucks we had to move on to another place after. No hard feelings, but a bummer nonetheless.

We were playing a game of pool and my friend of color dropped a pool stick, the white woman claimed we dropped it twice and that was “strike number 2”… but that was the first time we dropped it. It was very strange and we half thought she was joking. She wasn’t. When we tried to order another round they denied us and told us we were being disrespectful. That was absolutely shocking to us as we had only had one drink and played one game of pool. Please do not give these people your money. They treat people horribly and do not deserve to be owners of an establishment.

I came in to this bar for the second time last night and was treated horribly by the bartender... this bar is racist...and yes racism still exists.
