Excellent service EVERY TIME! Hands down, the BEST Chinese food in Chula Vista! My family and I absolutely love their chicken chow mein, salt and pepper chicken, and orange chicken—everything is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Everything I ordered was exceptional. Chinese food is always a roll of the dice and this place delivers. It is a little pricey though. I was by myself and got the lunch special, 1 appetizer, and a beer and my bill was $35. Can't wait to try the duck!

Wowwwwww wowwww! I just love this place. Big portions. Great taste. Excellent customer service. My favorite are the salt and pepper stringbeans & tofu.

It's tradition now, to come and eat at Mandarin Beijing after trick or treating. However, after the great service and food we decided to make it our new favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is good!!! My husband loves their egg drop soup, you don't need to add anything to it, it's done just right. Next it's their salted pepper wings, they are big, crispy, and full of flavor. The service is amazing, everyone is so friendly and it's not just one person taking care of you, it's everyone. As soon as your drink is running low, someone is always asking if you need a refill. This will continue to be our after trick or treat place to come but also our salted pepper wing place for sure.

We like going here especially when we have family visiting. The service is always great and food is always delicious. Pricr is reasonable. They also take reservations.

I was in and out within 10 mins for my to go order without ordering ahead. Received a full sized to go container stuffed with shrimp and veggies all wrapped very well to avoid spilling on the trip home. Service was friendly, respectful, and efficient with various table sizes in the dining room and outside.

They came over and filled our water and when we requested napkins, they took care of the request quickly. It was a small restaurant and had a nice atmosphere. The food portions were very big. There was enough eggplants two families. I don’t have a complaint, and it just might be I prefer a different taste profile or they were so busy the didn’t have the time to prepare the food in the same way they prepare on normal days. The eggplants was the best. It tastes like how I would think the dish should taste like. I would prefer the eggplants to be a little softer. The duck didn’t have a pronounced duck flavor and the skin was not crispy. The honey walnut shrimps were large shrimps and they gave a lot of shrimps but each shrimp had more breading than I would prefer. The fried chicken wing was a little dry, and I would not order again. The rice they gave was great and they gave a large portion.

I don’t normally write reviews but I ordered take out from this restaurant for the first time and I found a broken hard metal wire in my chicken chow mein.. I’m truly so scared I ingested other pieces while eating so that is why I’m making this post. The food tasted good but this was truly so scary to take out of my mouth as I felt something hard… so Please always check what you’re eating.
