I had breakfast at CH Cafe & Grill in Citrus Heights, CA, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the place. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was warm and friendly. I ordered the veggie omelette, and it was delicious. The omelette was packed with fresh vegetables and herbs, and the seasoning was just right. The presentation was also top-notch, with the omelette artfully arranged on the plate. My friend and I had a great conversation over breakfast about the Sacramento real estate market, and the relaxed ambiance of the restaurant made it all the more enjoyable. We appreciated the attentive service from the staff, who made sure our coffee cups were always full and checked on us throughout our meal. Overall, I would highly recommend CH Cafe & Grill for breakfast or brunch. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. If you're in the Citrus Heights area, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

First time at this Perkos. Our family had a wonderful breakfast. Excellent service. Very attentive but not overly so. Genuinely friendly staff. Everyone loved their food. Best Perkos we've been to. We're definitely coming back. We ordered: Eggs Benedict - eggs were perfect. Nice think ham, not some wimpy thin piece. Mother lode omelette - delicious. Bacon, tomato, mushroom, avocado, cheese. Kids loved their kid combos. Pancakes were on point.

This was one of those places we went to because I was starving and it was right there. I'm so glad we did! Breakfast is my favorite thing to eat no matter the time of day, and I ate almost all my food - saving the best for last - my pancakes! I didn't think about taking my pictures until I was done devouring everything else on my plate. Potatoes, eggs, and sausage. My partner had the chile verde burrito and had already deconstructed it and eaten some before I snapped a picture. Not only was the food great but so was the staff. They obviously needed more help but they were still aware of us at all times and if we were looking for them, for hot sauce for example, they always came right over. I would highly recommend this place, and plan on making it one of the top places on your list of reoccuring places you go to. Friends and family alike, young and old, will always find something here.

Very attractive. They did a really nice job converting the old Denny's. It has a modern but not trendy feel. Very relaxing vibe. Food is good. Service is great. Only wish they stayed open longer. Citrus Heights needs a diner that's open late, at least midnight. There are few options passed 10pm.

CH Cafe & Grill has great breakfasts and very friendly staff. They have a senior menu which is already appreciated by us oldsters. Hash Brown's were cooked perfectly. The country potatoes were as well. Pancakes were light and light and fluffy. All in all we enjoyed our meal!

Huevos divorciados we amazing! Both times I've come here so far....that's what I got. Staff is very friendly but maybe a little inexperienced with waiting. (I was there when it was very busy though and I still felt the speed of service was excellent. My only minor complaint is that the waiter forgot to ask a few basic questions like..."did you need anything else?")

We ordered the country skillet and blue burger. Both good choices. Bri was a great server. The place could use a deep clean.

Went on the weekend to try there Mexican food it was good but damn there cook is way to slow, I mean slow!!!!!!!!!!! I think it's a sweet old guy, if they want this place to work they need more cooks or faster ones at that, we got are drinks fast which was nice but the food order took 30 mins just for them to write it down, the server was bringing every tables food out all mix match , made me get angry , at are table half ppl had food the other nothing , he said he brought out what was ready, the cook is not organized enough for two different menus, I did love the iTunes touch!!! That's a plus for sure, food was ok for me. But the wait time was nuts ,nothing wanting to go back because of it. Thanks for taking the time to read my short review😎

It was supposed to look like the 60s, but it looked junky. Didn't like the décor. We ordered the Turkey dinner for seniors. It was extremely small, 2 tiny pieces of meat, mashed potatoes, small wedge of cranberry sauce. Not many people, and the service was slow

Ok so today I thought I would give it a try. I sat at the counter to get a birds eye of operation. We'll first a very disorganized establishment. A cook in the kitchen preparing food with no hair net or hat. I was told they where out of regular fries. So offered sweet potato fries. No extra charge. Ordered ultimate dip. A French dip made with tri tip. We'll meal came quick. Oh wait the sweet potato fries where refrigerator cold. The sandwich, well the meat tasted weird seasoning and a glob of cheese with mushrooms. Weird choice. Ok now let's get to the check. Remember they where out of regular fries so they sued sweet potato. On the check they charged me the charge, as if I had a choice. Well another soon to fail restaurant at this location of the old Dennys.

My husband and I ordered through Doordash. He ordered a scramble, I ordered a chili Verde Burrito. His order was missing: Potatoes, biscuits & gravy My chili Verde Burrito was a tortilla filled with potatoes and scrambled eggs, that's it. Left out was the pork, Verde sauce, cheese, bellpepper and onion. This cannot be blamed on the DD driver. We are very disappointed and will not order from here again!
