Una pasada. Mira que he venido veces a menorca y que no me haya enterado hasta ahora de este sitio…😱 Es el típico bar de toda la vida, familiar y acogedor. El que coge las comandas (cuyo nombre no se) es un encanto, amable, simpático y con una energía que contagia a todo el bar. La comida buenísima y no tarda mucho en llegar a tu mesa. Aunque parezca que haya mucha gente, la rotación de mesas es rápido. No aceptan reserva, vas y coges tanda. Mi pareja y yo comimos 4 tapas y 1 de pan, con eso mega bien. En total 47€. (Adjunto recibo) Todo el equipo en general de 10, es una familia y volveré sin dudarlo❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Muy recomendable ! Productazo de 10!!! Nos lo hemos disfrutado mucho en la barra. Hay que llegar con tiempo porque hay mucha gente esperando y hay que pagar en efectivo.

Un absoluto acierto ir a comer a esta taberna. Precios muy competitivos, comida riquísima y camareros super amables que hacen muy amena la estancia. Me hubiera gustado que tuviera alguna musiquilla de fondo, casi mejor que los camareros cantando. Lacón, zamburiñas y mejillones espectacular. Se pasaron con el precio de la sangría, creo que deberían plantearse quitarla o ponerle un precio acorde al resto de la carta.

Sin duda la mejor elección para comer de toda la isla. La comida está Increíble, da igual loq se pida que está todo buenísimo y la atención de los camareros no puede ser mejor. Siempre q voy está lleno y eso ya lo dice todo. Hay q ir y pedir allí al camarero q os apunte en lista porque no se hace reserva, pero merece la pena esperar tomando una cervecita o vinito.

Es un must! Llevo muchos años viniendo a Ciutadella y es parada obligatoria y siempre lo recomiendo. Todo riquísimo. Siempre está lleno así que recomiendo esperar un poco para sentarse o hacerte tu hueco en la barra. Antonio, que gestiona las mesas de la terraza, un crack! Hasta el año que viene!

Sitio auténtico con barra como las de antes. Hemos cenado en familia 3 personas en la barra porque la lista de espera en terraza era larga. Las camareras y camareros muy simpáticos y diligentes. Tienen una cocina muy básica pero todos los platos que hemos pedidos estaban riquísimos. Al local le falta climatización (hacia mucho calor), no aceptan reservas ni pago con tarjetas. Lo último sinceramente me parece tercermundista en los tiempos actuales y en una ciudad tan turística como Ciudadela.

Hemos repetido dos noches seguidas lo único malo es que no se cabe dicho tal cual suena . Producto de calidad inigualable todo absolutamente todo lo que hemos probado estaba buenisimo!! La atención y el encanto del local es para repetir y repetir !! Faltan más establecimientos como este .

Relación calidad precio inmejorable. El pulpo, el lacón, los callos picantones estan buenísimos y ni hablar del chuletón, que para ser vaca joven el sabor de la carne es espectacular. En general todo el producto que sirven es de calidad sumado a un servicio excelente y cercano. Eder son unos fenómenos y nuestra "yaya" esta encantada con él ;-). Ya hace años que es visita obligatoria cada año que vamos a Menorca. Seguir asi! Mas Pan para untar!!

I had some of the best food here in this small but absolutely amazing local restaurant. They do get quite busy so be ready to wait and bring cash because they don’t take cards. We started off with some beer and was served bread. We got our first food which was the blistered pepper. It was simple cooking with pepper, salt, and olive oil but it was delicious. It’s not spicy at all and is the perfect beer snack! The mussels were also good but it wasn’t the highlight for me. But they were still tasty. By far my favourite was the octopus which was soft as butter and drenched in olive oil. The tripes were also phenomenal and the soup was perfect for dipping bread. Finally, we ended our lunch with scallops which was the special for the day. It was small compared to what I’m used to but still full of flavour. If you visit Menorca, this restaurant is a must visit for me. I will probably go back tomorrow because it was so good!

The food was good — I had the garlic chicken (€7.20 on the menu) and the pork leg "lacon" (€8 on the menu). However, I was charged €8.90 for the pork leg, which didn’t match the listed price. Also, card payments are not accepted, so make sure to bring cash. The portions were small. The kitchen opens at 7 PM, and the place seems quite popular — a few people were already waiting before opening time. Then again, it was Sunday, probably one of their busier days. Overall, a good experience. If you found my review helpful, feel free to give it a like!

This place is just great! We arrived around 7 PM, and it was about half full, so we decided to take a look at the menu — and wow, so many interesting and diverse options that we liked right away. So we sat down. Within just ten minutes, the place was packed, and suddenly there was a huge line outside — people waiting over an hour! That’s when we knew: this place must be really, really good. And it absolutely was. We tried what felt like half the menu — garlic chicken, mussels, squid, octopus, padrón peppers, cheese, and more — and every single dish was delicious. Think beautiful, flavorful tapas-style plates, perfect for sharing. The service was super quick and friendly, even with the rush. The prices are just fair. I highly recommend this spot if you’re into lively, vibrant atmospheres and really good food. Maybe not ideal for a romantic candlelit dinner — but if you’re after energy, flavor, and fun, this is the place!

Great food! Tasteful and big portions! we ate the delicious octupus but we saw all the other dishes being served and they were very nice! There are just a few outside tables and others inside but it gets very busy so try to make a reservation or to come in a less busy hour.

Delicious tapas, great value, friendly atmosphere. It does get busy, so would recommend coming when they open. Scallops and squid were particular highlights, saw many orders of the octopus pass by that looked amazing. Pork leg was tender and nicely seasoned too.

This place was excellent! We found this restaurant down a side street from the old town and I’m so glad we did. A real gem! It’s more of a basic, canteen style place with a smaller menu and selection of specials. The food was absolutely delicious- really fresh, simple, unpretentious and very flavourful. Although I enjoyed everything we ordered, the garlic butter scallops and huge t-bone steak really stood out to me. The atmosphere was also great. We started eating around 7pm when it was a bit more quiet but it was full and lively with people chatting, eating and drinking around the bar area by 8pm. I will definitely come back here- this is probably the best meal I’ve had in Menorca in several years!

A wait of around 50 minutes outside was definitely worth it. This place is serving some of the freshest, best quality seafood around! The scallops are a must-try, along with the wonderful steamed mussels and famous pulpo (octopus). Service is kind and fast, although it is quite a hectic and chaotic experience with huge crowds of people waiting outside and at the bar - but it’s lively and fun!

A real hidden gem, get here around 2pm or earlier at 12 to avoid the peak rush around 1pm. Fabulously Spanish atmosphere and incredible food at very reasonable prices. Be prepared to communicate in Spanish but the menu is in English so if you at least know the basics you will be fine. Cool place to watch the world go by. We kept getting sent free beers by the generous bar staff, shame we had to drive or we would have been there all day! Air con inside so nice to escape the mid day heat for a bit. This is a tapas bar so also be prepared to stand up in a busy environment whilst having tasty food!

It was suggested by a local friend and this was the best thing happened to us 🤤 the food was amazing! Its almost impossible to find a table outside, so we sat inside at the bar, but the taste was so good it worths! Chicken was so simple but soooo good! Russian salad is another favorite, one of the best I have ever had. Strongly suggested!

What a great great place to eat!! I would give 6 stars if it was possible, or 5 superior :P It's a tapas bar, not chic, not fancy, but the food is absolutely great and the staff is very friendly even if busy! They have a regular menu and some daily specials.. The portions are not too small, so trying few things will make you leave very stuffed (in a pleasant way of course 😋). The fish is delicious, from the calamari to the bacalao. Big portion of local queso too, probably its best to try it there rather then buy it :) I wish I didn't find out about this place only my last night in Menorca!! Absolutely recommended! Also, no booking required, it's walk-in.

Fue la primera cena de mi estancia en Minorca y no me decepcionó. El Hogar del pollo es todo lo contrario de un bar cursi. Aquí hay movida. El personal "se canta" los pedidos y todo funciona porque se llevan perfectamente bien entre ellos - por lo que he visto esta noche -. La ración de pulpo me encantó, los pimientos del padrón no deben faltar nunca y como bien me dijo el camarero, no me podía perder las piernas de cerdo, la carne se derrite en boca. El único problema fue la cantidad de aceite que pusisteis. Era demasiado grasoso. Pero al final el balance fue muy positivo. Es un buen sitio.

Restaurante gallego de tapas tipicas. El pulpo estaba rico, el lacón algo grasiento pero bueno. Lo que si he de dar una mención especial es al servicio, un camarero catalán mas majo que las pesetas y que nos recomendó un vino turbio natural muy bueno, sin duda con un servicio así marcan la diferencia

It's very nice local place with good food with good price I would like to give 4.5 star just bc the atmosphere it's very stressing at beginning. I was there in dinner time it was full of ppl no place to sit and not even to stand, at beginning you might think it's impossible to eat here, but one the staff reached me and even though it was very very busy the were super nice and helpful we just had to wait for 5 minutes and we got a table so the only negative point I can say is that the place in first look might feel uncomfortable but its not.
