Seems to be more popular than the Starbucks that was here before. The line moves at a good pace and their coffee seems to be priced pretty well. Their menu has alot of bagel items on it as well as some great salads. Not very clear if they can handle gluten or not but then again west end is close enough and they offer gluten free bagels.

Best bagels outside of long island. West End isn't even close. Coffee is incredible. The staff are friendly and the place is always very clean. My only gripe is that I can't tip the staff on my credit card. I never carry cash. I have definitely driven by without stopping quite a few times because I didn't have cash to tip with.

Lively spot in Clifton Park. Great place to get some breakfast and coffee. Bagels were very delicious. The regular roast for hot coffee wasn’t that tasty unfortunately, but I’ll try something else next time.

The bagels are super good, we even got some to take home! We aren't from the area so we were really excited to find this place.

Warm place, the staff are super nice, the breakfast sandwiches are awesome in the coffee is incredible. The prices are also very reasonable.

This is honestly one of my favorite places to go when I'm in Clifton Park. I can't rate them highly enough! Firstly, the employees are always a delight. Some of the conversations I've had are just so fun. Second, the free ice water near the coffee creamer is wonderful. It's a great palate cleanser before a nice breakfast or lunch, if you ask me. Finally, the food, oh man the food is wonderful. My go-to is the Mediterranean on a cheddar parm bagel, toasted. And if I can recommend any drink, it's a hot mocha latte with a shot of strawberry. I came across it near Valentine's day as it was being sold as a "Chocolate Covered Strawberry Latte" and I was HOOKED. So now it's autumn and I'm still ordering it. I'm only deducting one star on "Atmosphere" because unfortunately (or is it fortunately?) the store is often so busy that it's a little hard to actually sit down and relax for a while. If you go on a weekday morning, it's often a lot more chill. But when the outdoor seating is open, that helps with the seating a fair bit. Just don't be shocked if you come in to a madhouse. It's like that for good reason! It's a great place to be!

Great location and atmosphere. The place was very crowded when I visited on a Saturday late morning but it was amazing how quickly everyone was served. Their coffee is carefully roasted and their bagels are a good choice. Staff is friendly and efficient. Definitely recommended.

Love coming to Uncommon Grounds. Staff is friendly even during the busy times. Orders are always accurate and delicious. I would love to see some gluten free offerings, but will always go back for the amazing drinks.

Just had a bagel with lox the size of the island Grenada. Took less than a minute to be served at the counter. Very polite staff and a laid back seating area.

They never disappoint! My family loves the coffee beans and we order regularly. The bagels are delish, and they freeze well. My favorite go-to coffee on the run is their caramel latte which reminds me of a waffle cone! I visit Clifton Park and Saratoga, both are great but I'm really looking forward to Queensbury opening; it's a lot closer to home. When are you guys opening there?

B

Great spot for lunch, an assortment of baked goods from muffins to bagels, and world-class coffee and tea selection.

K

Really like the art and how it changes every month. Saturdays the place is packed and seems like it should be faster with all the people working. Don’t go on Saturday if you are looking to get something quick.

Omigosh! The coffee was great. The bagels are perfect (wish we could mail order them!), and the service was friendly. We were so impressed with the coffee and bagels we bought more to bring back to Maryland.

Place of choice to meet friends. Everything is good. Cookies are the size of your face and so yummy. Coffee is great. Bagels are even better.

H

When it's done, common grounds for a cup of tea and to share a dessert with a friend. The tea and coffee we had were good. The dessert brownie was very large. We were able to sit there for quite a while and chat + it was not a problem.

The staff are wicked chill and cool. They don't mess around or play games. Some people play games, but- not them. They get the job done, they keep the store nice and clean, they're not rude, and they consistently set the bar pretty high, in terms of sheer coffee shop presentation capabilities. You really cannot ask for much more from a coffee shop like this.

K
Kaitlyn Curtin

It's very affordable but still great quality bagels and fresh made clean cheese (at least the vegetable one), plus the staff is very kind

H
Hannah Long

I love the coffee and food here. The soup is shockingly good every single time. It is often very crowded around peak meal times, so if you're looking for a meeting place or a place to sit down, this may not be it. Has a quirky, personable vibe and is an enjoyable place to eat and caffienate.

S

Always delightful to stop here for lunch or a quick bite. Love their sandwiches, but love the ability to make my own more. The coffee is great and the bakery items are to die for. I love their blueberry scones with a dirty chai!

R

First time here, I ordered online. Went there, worker was very polite, order was ready when I came in. Got four bagel sandwiches; onion, sesame, poppy, pumpernickel. All had eggs and cheese, one sausage, one bacon, two ham. All delicious, toasted and cooked perfectly! Big plus: they have a scooped option which I love! Coming from Brooklyn, land of some of the best bagels around, these are tremendous! I will be back!

I could have stayed here all day the environment was so chill the food was delicious the coffee was rich the staff was absolutely amazing I have not seen cream cheese on a bagel like this since I went to Long Island. I almost don't want to put this review because I don't want it getting overcrowded it is centrally located great parking and plenty of space and seating for everyone

6/11/21 @ 10:15 am. I love this place for their coffee shop ambiance. A place you can chill out with your work computer and a coffee and not be bothered that you're spending too much time there. I also love their plants. How do they keep them so healthy? Yes, they're real (most anyways), I checked. Lol. So that all gets 5 stars. They drop to ONE star for their sandwiches though. Do NOT go there for a sandwich. This ham and cheese on a plain bagel was not worth the $8.95 it costed. Luckily it was purchased with a gift card.

T

What a great place to chill. Several varietals of hit coffee and a plethora of both hot and cold coffee/espresso drinks. There's a full skate of baked goods, sandwiches and salads too. Music can be a bit loud for conversation, but there's outdoor tables during the nice weather, which helps. Also free wifi to sit and surf, work or play games.

Atmosphère was fantastic! Loved the wood pallet, it really feels like a proper coffee shoppe. Interesting paintings (for sale too!) It does get really busy (and could be larger), and towards the door/window will be cooler. Service was fantastic, staff was incredibly helpful, I must assume them to be paid what they put in which is great! It's great to see staff taken care of by management! They were able to help me get what I was trying to eat, and while it isn't the cheapest due to location, they made sure not to skimp and the ingredients were exactly as they ought to be. Overall, quite content with the experience. Would come again!

I must say, it was an outstanding experience. The restaurant specializes in sandwiches, soups, and wonderful bagels. I tried their everything bagel, toasted and topped with turkey, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes, and it was absolutely amazing. When you walk in the line is long, but the service was incredibly quick, so don’t be intimidated by the wait. The efficient staff ensures you get your delicious meal in no time. SI highly recommend Uncommon Ground and can’t wait to go back again!

This is my favorite location. The service is always wonderful and the drinks and food are delicious. I am addicted to the Chai Latte. They are a bit small inside, but have a lovely rotation of local themed art. They also have a wonderful outside sitting area in the warmer seasons. The Flying Pig is the best sandwich I have ever had!

Such a great franchise! The coffee is exceptional and all the staff are friendly and welcoming (at all the locations). Love supporting this local business over a national chains. You get a much higher quality experience!

The bagels are great, 😊 the salads on the other hand are not. Way too much lettuce and the house dressing was super thick and did not taste well. The prices are great though.

I stopped in this morning (Sunday) and almost left because the line was to the door. So glad I didn't! The staff was amazing to watch! They were like a well oiled machine. The vibe was very positive even with the high volume of orders they were processing. I was in and out in just 10 minutes with a hot beverage and 2 perfectly crafted breakfast sandwiches. Keep up the good work CP Team!

I loved the place! i’m currently down here for work, and my first thing to do is try local café’s when i can. This was by far probably one of the best i’ve been too. It was super yummy, the bagel was absolutely delicious and my latte was super creamy and phenomenal! Will definitely come here again when i visit.

This is a really nice coffee shop right across the street from Clifton Park Center. Having visited the Saratoga location many years ago, I decided to forego Starbucks and give this place a try. The staff, though not overly friendly, is perfectly acceptable. The coffee I find is really delicious - being a bit picky about my coffee choices, I was very impressed with their cold brew. Though I haven’t eaten at this particular location, there are a lot of food options at seemingly reasonable prices. The wifi is fast, the ambiance is nice, and the coffee is great. Will definitely be returning to this location!

Amazed at how quick the staff were. Line was to the door when I walked in and next thing I know I'm up front placing my order, the team was on it! Also had the most delicious smores latte!! Still thinking about it now 2 days later, even had a dream about it haha

It was very busy on an August Friday morning but it ran like a well oiled machine. Employees all quick, efficient and friendly enough. I got a large pistachio latte and jalapeño cheddar bagel with lots veggies cream cheese. Both delicious! I luckily got one of the few comfy cheers in the joint and took my time reading and sipping my latte for an hour or so. No one made me feel rushed despite how busy it was. Will definitely return!

One of the top coffee shops in the capital region. The bagels are incredible and my freezer is always fully stocked with their day old bagels that they sell bagged up in front of the store. Their cold brew is so smooth and delicious and I’m always a smitten kitten for anyone that won’t charge me extra for oat milk. The garlic and herb cream cheese is the best I’ve had in my entire life. The service is always perfection and I swear they only hire absolute sweethearts. The vibes are always exactly what I need and if you’re lucky you’ll hear the staff singing along to their favorite songs and their positive energy is enough to make you want to apply here yourself. This has become my cozy little hangout spot after dropping my daughter off at daycare and I’ll continue to give them all my money always. Shoutout to the bearded employee with the dunder mifflin tshirt who was just the perfect amount of positive energy to start my morning today. Love love love this place. Parking is always available and super kid friendly too with high chairs, comfy booths, and outdoor seating if they get a little rowdy. All their treats are kid approved by my 2yr old

Very consistent with their other two locations. To me, it wasn't as busy as the other two, so the customer service was a little better and friendlier because they don't have to just push you through. Looks very much like the original location near UAlbany and lots of space to study or remote work.

Absolutely phenomenal. The bagel sandwiches are large portion and delicious. We got the "Lumberjack" on cheddar parm and one on everything. Coffee was delicious and they have all kinds of milk. I was pleasantly surprised that the coffee wasn't too sweet (I had a caramel latte). Overall great experience!

With a very pleasant and helpful staff, great tasting food. (I got the healthy harvest) I absolutely love coming to any uncommon grounds anytime I'm remotely near one. I absolutely recommend if your looking for a quality affordable breakfast/brunch you absolutely cannot go wrong coming here. Doesn't quite have the casual atmosphere the Albany location has, but is certainly lovely on the inside. I prefer the order and then move on down to the register that the Albany location has as well. All that said I can't wait to return to this location or really any location they currently have or open in the future..

My wife and I had to decide on catering last minute for an event with over 100 people and we called Uncommon Grounds on a Saturday around noon fully understanding how last minute this was and we were willing to go to multiple locations if needed to get the amount of bagels we needed. But the Clifton Park location had it all ready for us 2 hours later along with a whole bunch of cream cheese. They were so well received at the event! I knew that most bagel places sell what they had made that day until the are out and did not expect them to be able to make all of these bagels fresh so fast! Thank you all so much. And everyone we interacted with was so nice. Someone even helped us bring the bagels out to our car.

We love coming here. It is a local staple. The food is good and the drinks are hot and tasty, however the staff is always sparky or condescending. This is at the albany and clifton park locations. I have never ordered here and felt like I wasn't being judged by the cashier. It is too bad really.

J

4.5 stars for food, location, and service. 3 ish stars for the coffee. Cold brew is pretty good, coffee and drinks are decent but not on par with more specialized cafes. Bagel sandwiches are pretty good, though not exceptional for the price. Its a convenient stop to work or chat with someone

Great tasty food and really friendly staff!!! (Clifton Park location). I would really like to give 5 stars BUT every time I go and order “The Mediterranean” breakfast sandwich and add bacon THEY FORGET TO ADD THE BACON. 7 out of 8 times I have ordered my favorite b-fast sandwich with added bacon they have forgotten THE BACON (the one time they remembered I had to do a double check and my jaw hit the floor). Not a great success rate. I have even tried explaining when I order to make sure to add the bacon because every time I have ordered I have to check the sandwich and come back asking for the bacon. I do this... and they still forget the bacon!!! So I have even just thought about defaulting to a regular bacon, egg, and cheese option...but I like the Mediterranean too much to live my life like that. I keep going because the food is good, but this is a growing annoyance where I have finally decided to leave a review about it in hopes it sparks a change. They do always give me the bacon when I go up and say they forgot it...so that’s a plus. Anyways always check your b-fast sandwich should you decide to upgrade with the “add bacon” option. Cheers!

We visited quite a few bagel spots on our trip, and Uncommon Grounds offered probably the biggest bagel we came across – and yes, it was good! The café has a nice, relaxed seating area and the overall vibe was pleasant. That said, while everything was solid, we’ve had slightly better elsewhere. Still, a good place for a hearty bagel break!

P
Paul Buckman

These are hands down the best bagels I have had in the area. I am from Long Island, and these are right up there with those. Only problem is time it takes to get your bagel. Besides the sometimes long line which I understand, there are more people taking orders than making orders. Hmm, to me there is the problem. It backs up the food prep people by taking more orders than they can make. If the prep people get behind, an order taker should jump in and help. Shouldnt take 23 minutes to get a bagel with butter. Will continue to come back because so good, but please get food out quicker.

B
Beverly Carrubba

I was really excited for this place to open. I adore Uncommon Grounds' bagels and coffee, and this location certainly didn't disappoint. I got an almond milk latte and the Mediterranean sandwich, and enjoyed them immensely. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because there's nowhere to change a kid's diaper, not even one of those foldout changing tables on the wall in the restroom. They had high chairs, which was great as I had my 6-month old with me... but I had to lay out a changing mat on my chair and have my friend hold her in place while I changed her. The Saratoga location has a lovely family restroom with a legit changing table, so this took me by surprise. But yeah... still good.

L
Lars Faller

Nice place, great and friendly people who work there. It seems to be a pretty popular place especially for locals with children. Big plus! I did not try any of their foods but they seem to have something for mostly everyone, according to their large menus. I came here for the coffee primarily, as I stayed at a local hotel for a night during a business trip. As I always drink coffee black, I opted for the cold brew. Personally, and this is purely subjective, I am not a big fan of their selection of blend for their cold brew. I did not get a great blend of aroma and it was difficult to make out any special notes. But again, this is purely subjective. They do not roast coffee at this particular location, one very nice worker explained to me, but that seems to be a work in progress. Honestly, the only thing to make this a 5 star place, in my book, would be to offer more coffee brew choices than filter. Offer a French press, a pour over, a chemex, etc.

j
jamie vasquez

I remember when you could walk in and grab a quick coffee and bite to eat, but when a place is this good, it doesn't stay quiet for long. The service is still fast, friendly and accurate, but there is usually a line. The blends of coffee make it impossible to choose just 1 and the sandwiches are perfectly made and priced.

J
Jeff Brzeski

I had ordered a coffee from a young lady with a pleasant smile. The coffee came quickly and tasted wonderful. The place was rather packed, but that's not "Uncommon" for this location. Plan ahead if you're intention is to sit in and eat.

This is an awesome breakfast place. Love everything about this place. The coffee is great and the breakfast sandwiches are excellent. My favorite is the Mediterranean sandwich on everything bagel. The bagels are huge and very tasty. Usually has quite a few people in the morning. This place also has good seating both indoor and outdoor. The staff is really friendly and service was quick. Impressed by the quick service. I highly recommend the place.

My wife and I come here often. We love the bagels but at least 50-% of the time they get the order wrong . Today instead of a schmer of olive cream cheese on my bagel they gave me plain cream cheese on the side!

R
Rayne Storm

The bagels and coffee are perfectly fine, but salads seem to be a roulette. Have gotten slimy cucumbers and wilted lettuce in a garden salad, as well as finding capers and bean sprouts, which are not supposed to be in the salad at all. Even found half rotten tomatoes on a few occasions. Seems quality control is a dead concept

A
Andrew K

The coffee here is elite in my opinion, however the service is insanely slow. Lines wrap around the store so much so you have ppl standing in line next to tables where ppl are trying to eat/talk etc. I went in, and there was maybe 12 ppl in front of me in line and waited 20 minutes just to get to the register. Woof

R
Raelene Pitt

Just started working near here so wanted to check it out ... food is ok service is not great the girl making food had her hair all over the place complaining about her job ..noticed alot of flys . but I did like the iced chai and breakfast sandwich wouldve been better w real eggs ...

D
Dmitry Dovidenko

Cappuccino tastes literally like nothing and was served lukewarm. I would struggle to guess it was a coffee drink if someone let me have a sip without telling me what it is. I am not at all a coffee snob, if it has caffeine and tastes like coffee thats generally fine with me. I will say the BLT bagel sandwich was absolutely delicious, hence 3 stars.

V
Victoria Gellatly

Their coffee is just okay in my opinion, and while it seems like many people enjoy the food, I'm gluten free so can only speak for the coffee. The employees are always friendly, but this particular location isn't large enough to handle the number of customers coming through, and the parking is horrendous.

Rebecca Leah
Rebecca Leah

They need to have a better system, or really any system, for handling long lines. I’ve now been here twice where there are 30+ people in line. The issue is there is never someone consistently ringing people up. Someone will ring up a customer, then walk away. So you’re now front of the line, but it’s another 5+ minutes before you’re even able to order. We waited almost an hour for two bagels and a drink. That seems insane. Also the staff who works the coffee side (I had no issue with the food side. They were fast and clean) is always touching their hair or scratching themselves then making the drinks. Also they were not friendly. I’ve been here twice now and never felt welcomed. The coffee is good, the bagels are good, but the staff issues and the lines make me want to go elsewhere. There are two other bagel places in this area, they’re gonna lose customers if they don’t fix these issues.

Philip W Morrissey Jr
Philip W Morrissey Jr

I’ve always enjoyed Uncommon Grounds at their other locations, but unfortunately the Clifton Park spot consistently falls short. The food and coffee are the same quality as you’d expect at the other locations, but the service here is noticeably worse compared to Albany, Empire State Plaza, Albany International Airport and Saratoga locations. The young staff always seems disorganized, slow, and not particularly in any sort of rush. It’s disappointing, because I know how good this brand can be elsewhere. Hopefully management takes steps to bring the Clifton Park location up to the same standard as the others.

M
Maryann Normandin

They need to enact Starbucks policy of no loitering without buying. People work there all taking up tables for paying customers. I would go there more often if I could find a seat.

S
Sara G.

Was pretty disappointed in this visit. Went with my boyfriend and friend and despite asking for a toasted bagel NONE of our bagel sandwiches were toasted - the bagels weren't even remotely crisp - very squishy. My boyfriends bagel had one very thin slice of ham, and small amount of egg/cheese. The ham was not very appetizing. All of our bagels have very little filling - we basically ate bread for breakfast. The only recurring perk is their coffee. We enjoy their iced mochas a lot and their espresso/americanos as well. They have a great deal on day-old bagels too - we like to snag those to freeze and have at home. Will most likely only go for a quick coffee from now on.

A
Anna Vereschagina

Pros: clean and comfortable interior, friendly staff. Cons: subpar iced latte recipe, excessive pricing, no attention to detail. I recently moved to the area and wanted to go to find my new go to local coffee place instead of going Starbucks. I ordered an iced latte and all I could taste was sugar and melted ice. I don’t know if it’s because the espresso doesn’t have a strong flavor or because of the amount of ice that was put in the drink. But I definitely know there was either way too much vanilla syrup or the syrup itself is way too sweet. It feels like I had an energy drink with how much sugar was in it. I couldn’t finish it all. I also ordered a bagel with ham and cheese, requested for it to be toasted. The sandwich turned out to be a whopping $8.45 because it was a “build your own” option in the menu with a preset price. What’s funny is a typical sausage egg and cheese is $6.00 LOL In other cafes, they would’ve rang my order up as (for example): bagel $3.00, add cheese $1.00, add ham $1.00, for a total of $5 max. The quality of the bagel wasn’t much better than grocery store, same goes for ham and cheese, tastes like something I could get at hannafords. The bagel was barely warmed up. Cheese and ham were cold straight from the fridge. That’s not very “toasted” if you ask me. It was cold and unpleasant to eat. Biggest waste of $9 ever. What’s also funny about this is they gave me my sandwhich less than a minute after I ordered it. There was no customers after me. There were about 5 people just standing around in the food prep area. So I don’t get what’s the rush? Why couldn’t my bagel be properly toasted for $9? This was such a disappointing experience. I mean I’d be down to come back to try the baked goods since I haven’t had those yet. But I won’t be ordering coffee or sandwiches there again. Maybe this style of coffee/sandwhiches is someone else’s cup of tea, but sadly not mine. Overall rating 4/10.

I love uncommon grounds. But I hate this location. My husband who eats everything literally couldn't eat his ruebon. I always get an avocado toast. And they literally just plopped it on there. It wasn't spread. Just gross. The guy making the sandwiches, came out of the bathroom and picked his nose and then continued making food. 🤮

They don't have quality control. I ordered a sandwich, some chips, a drink and a chocolate cookie. Paid for all of it...no cookie. 😪 so Im done with this place. Check your order to make sure they give you everything you paid for.

I placed an online order 3 days ahead of time for a Saturday morning pickup of 3 dozen bagels. In the order I asked that all the bagels be sliced because they were being brought to a birthday venue (for children and we didnt want to bring sharp knives to a childrens venue). Called the day before to confirm and was told because the order was placed online they won't see it until day of, but no problem they would have it done quickly. Day of we arrived and none of the bagels were sliced. Assuming it was just a mistake we asked they be sliced. We were told they couldn't slice them for us because it was the weekend and they're too busy and we would have had to call days ahead to request they all be sliced. I pointed out the order was placed days ahead of time with a call to confirm. They said because it was placed online that doesn't count as requesting ahead of time. Never in my life have I heard of a bagel shop too busy to slice bagels. Incredibly dissapointed because the bagels are wonderful, but the situation left us rushing to get a knife and cutting board to do the work ourselves.

It’s really a hit or miss. The workers are terrible at slicing bagels. Depends on who makes the latte. They base the service on how much you tip. I won’t be tipping anymore. I’d rather just complain and make them redo it if tipping doesn’t get you much better service than not tipping l. This American thing with tipping is tacky and makes these jobs desirable for AI replacement. Check the photo for the cheddar bagel(really) that’s all it is, a slice of cheese on a plain bagel! Not one raisin in the cinnamon raisin bagel. Really absolutely none. This place is getting really bad.

My family and I wanted lattes and hot chocolate but Starbucks was closed. We walked into the Clifton Park Uncommon Grounds around 7pm (cafe was set to close at 8pm). Espresso machines were cleaned and off since 5pm because, something along the lines of there not being enough business to justify keeping them up and running all day, and I was only about 1 of 10 customers who had stopped in during that time frame. I responded by saying that's 10 customers that were turned away and pissed off. The 11th and 12th person walked in behind me and were turned away. This is a coffee shop (as determined by the cafe name) that didn't have coffee and is missing out on its market since there seems to be a lack of coffee shops open in the evening/night in the CP area.

The bagel tasted okay and I think it's a better bagel than on Uncommon Grounds even though it's much smaller and more expensive. But I ordered my bagel to be toasted dark and it was not delivered to me dark, so therefore I am rating it a 2 because the management obviously can't communicate effectively to the tattooed staff making up the bagel, and this is a No-No, so I will no longer try this place in Clifton Park. It was the first time at this Bruegger's in Clifton Park, I used to go to the one in Saratoga but that closed down years ago and seemed better managed.

They seemed to be moving at a good pace considering how busy it was. The miel (honey and cinnamon) latte was good, but I do wish it had more of a honey flavor to it. I guess I should have checked my food order before I left. Didn’t realize until I got to work in Albany that my Lox of Love had no cream cheese on it, even though that’s distinctly listed as part of it on the menu. Sigh.

Been here multiple times and each time service has gotten worse. Ordered a toasted ham, sausage and bacon breakfast sandwich yet got salmon. Return to have my sandwich corrected and paid an extra $6.xx to change it to sausage. Unfortunately the sandwich is still ice cold and cheese isn't melted. Attitudes go a long way and some of the employees are straight sour faced any time you go. Probably won't be returning here again sadly was one of my favorite breakfast shops.

I come here all the time and the coffee and food is delicious. It’s a great ambience for a nice spot to hang out with friends or do some computer work. I just feel like it’s been going downhill over the past few months with the attitude of the workers over time. I went yesterday with my boyfriend and while glancing at the menu (which didn’t take us not even a minute because we knew what we wanted) the girl at the counter had the biggest attitude and seemed like we were taking forever. No one has time for this in the morning. Especially before caffeine. This use to be a friendly atmosphere. Want attitude and grumpiness before you start your day, go here. And they also got my order wrong… idk what is confusing about a bagel with half cream cheese on it.

Normally, I like uncommon grounds, but this is the first time I've been to this location. We got two dirty chai lattes. Paid the extra fees to have espresso in both and a flavor shot in one, received no flavor shot, and only one had espresso. Also the drinks were just lukewarm, not hot at all. We didn't realize any of this until after we left, and we were on our way out of town, so we weren't in a situation yo go back and have them make them correctly. The guy who made them acted as if making our drinks were an inconvenience for him. Probably not going back and regret tipping 20% preemptively.

Ask for our bagel toasted and got this. They also forgot to put cream cheese on our other bagel. I understand the place can get busy but this is unacceptable.

I asked for white fish salad on a bagel. When I got home and bit into it. It was tuna fish. They have to be careful due to food allergies. I hate tuna fish as well. March 10th order 110

only go there if you wanna spend a long time in line. The pick ups are a joke because they either make them way too early and your food is cold or way too late and you’re running late for work.

First time trying this place. Absolutely horrible customer service…. I got red dragon tea. Guy could not even explain what was in green tea. Then when I ordered the tea I had 5to wait more then ten minutes because the guy that took my order forgot he took my order. lol, there is being high at work and functioning high. If you can not function at work when you are high then just call into work….. I would take a photo of drink but I kissed tossed since what looked filthy….. heard rave reviews for this place they still have to deliver

I want to share a very disappointing experience I had at the Clifton Park location. Normally, the store is busy in the mornings, so I was surprised to find no line. Despite several employees being behind the counter, I was ignored for six minutes—no greeting, no acknowledgment, not even a simple “I’ll be right with you.” Instead, they continued chatting amongst themselves. When someone finally addressed me, I was told the oven was down and that they could not sell me a dozen bagels, even though the bins were full. I asked what the difference was between selling me a dozen bagels versus twelve individual customers buying one each, but no explanation was given. I then requested to speak with the manager, who had been standing nearby the entire time but offered no assistance. He also could not provide any explanation. I even asked if I could purchase twelve bagels on twelve separate receipts, but was told no. I explained that I am a frequent customer who regularly buys dozens of bagels each week, primarily at the Albany location. During this exchange, an employee named Madeline—who was not part of the conversation—interjected and told me to go to Bruegger’s or West End, adding that Uncommon Grounds “does not want a customer like me.” When I asked her name, she replied, “Madeline, and don’t forget it!” Her behavior was extremely rude, unprofessional, and her dreadlocks and belly hanging out was completely inappropriate for someone representing the company. I left feeling frustrated and disrespected. Even though it was a frustrating situation, I treated everyone there with courtesy, but that respect was not returned. As a loyal customer of this local business, I find it troubling that anyone would be spoken to in such a manner. I have since taken my business elsewhere.
