I was in Clyde for a couple of weeks due to a family emergency. I went to Whataburger most days for breakfast. They are so sweet and friendly. Then, my last night in the area, I called as I was leaving Abilene headed back to Clyde, and asked when their coffee had last been brewed. The gentleman I talked to said that he didn’t know, but to come on by, and they would brew me a fresh pot. So I went, and they brewed me a fresh cup of coffee, and it was awesome!

Absolutely love coming to this Whataburger. My favorite. This restaurant is so clean. Friendliest people. The best whataburger I've have ever tasted, has came out of this restaurant! Five stars all around. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Oh and big rig parking!!! My favorite stop:)

This Whataburger is located in Clyde, Texas. Food was picked up to go and was fresh and hot. I have eaten here several times and the staff is always friendly, the restaurant was fairly clean. The food quantity was good for the price paid and the quality was good as well.

We went through the drive thru and a young man name Jordon was our whatever burger representative . This young gentleman was so helpful and happy to be of assistance to our out of town party. The food was delicious and fresh and the service made us feel important and comfortable. We will be choosing Whataburger when traveling through Clyde Texas.

What burger here has become the neighborhood friendly, small town feel, hamburger stop where they know you by name and take care of you. Plus, it's Whataburger, so if you are Texan, you'll like the food too.

I've stopped at this location several times over the years, and food and service are always great. I was disappointed this time to see they had redone the decor. I always enjoyed the wildlife displays and how it represented Texas. Now it is plain with gray tables and a few orange chairs. They did leave the mural, but it really doesn't fit in any longer. I know this may be odd to comment on, but it did make me sad.

This Whataburger is the BEST Whataburger I’ve been to. I’ve been here several times over the past few years and I’ve been to probably over a dozen locations throughout the state and this location is consistently top tier in service, speed, and quality. My order has always been delivered correctly and within a few shorts minutes. A stark contrast from other locations all over Texas. If you’ve ever had a bad experience at a Whataburger, please allow the one in Clyde to redeem it for you.

Stopped by on the way back to west texas. Food was great! Joy was the name on our ticket. She had the best customer service! Asked if my husband was a veteran, and after he showed her his military ID card, we received a significant discount! Store clean, very friendly staff! Will stop by again if we're in the area on our next travel :-)

I usually don't like going to Whataburger in Clyde. I usually have issues and horrible service. Now I did have an issue, but Beth the manager was a rockstar. I picked up my food curbside and one of my burgers was missing. I called expecting a hassle, but Beth was super kind and took care of me right away. I got back to the store and though they were busy she kept checking on my order while constantly running around helping everybody else. Everybody makes mistakes sometimes, it's how you take care of the customer. Beth and the staff at Clyde did a great job.

Whataburger done right! I online ordered it was perfectly on time, hot and fresh. Bathroom super clean. They were out of sweet tea at the self service bar but the guy quickly got some from the drive thru.

I Love Love Love Whataburgers!!!!! I have only been twice and I'm in Love with Whataburger! The food is fresh and tasty! Burgers taste like real beef did back in the 80's! I have one request....I am a truck driver and would like to see more restaurants offer truck parking. I'd really love to see them at truck stops!

This restaurant is very clean and well managed. The bathrooms were very clean and smelled fresh. The tables were clean and the floor was clean. We ordered promptly and received our food within 5 -8 minutes of our order. The food was hot and fresh. The lettuce was crisp in my sandwich. The meat to bun ratio was perfect. Our fry containers were filled appropriately for the size. The fries were hot and crisp. It was a great visit

This location has been inconsistent service wise for years. Happy to report our last few visits the service has improved with friendly smiles and prompt attention; although orders still are delivered very slow. A welcome improvement.

Friendly staff, clean restrooms and good service on the inside. I really enjoy this Whataburger. The food always tastes fresh here as well. It would have received 5 stars but the drive through is nearly always slow. It is getting better but they still have a way to go. If you stop here, go inside and relax because the wait at the drive will stress you out.

Placed a mobile order. Went inside to pick it up. Dylan greeted me and told me my order is still being worked on. He did give me my drinks and I went to take them to my car. Not long after he followed me to my car with my food. Food was alright, got onions when I said none, but no big deal, just scraped them off and ate it. But, Dylan has great customer service and was excellent.

Delicious food as usual. They were doing some remodeling around the front counter and the worker was pounding out tiles from the wall. It made for a LOUD dining experience, and you couldn't escape the noise. I think the employees were also distracted by it. I ordered 2 medium combos and they brought us a small and medium fry. Wasn't a big deal and we ate plenty even without the extra fries.

There aren't any benches and feels more like a cafeteria than a comfortable place to eat. The floors and tables are dirty at 7 in the morning, I looked at like 5 or 6 tables before I found one that was clean enough. There is food under almost every table. The staff is friendly though. And helped us out on pricing when we're exhausted from driving from Galveston TX to Albuquerque NM. The food smells amazing and filled us up perfectly. Update: they had a call out the night before and it was the person that practically details the dining room. The manager was so sweet too! He had been working nights recently and hadn't had a chance to check the dining room till my husband and I talked to him.

Large dirt lot next to Whataburger. Excellent truck parking and it didn't fill up overnight though it almost did. The food here was excellent. There is a cell tower right here on this site but clearly it is not Verizon because my Verizon service sucks. The only downside is that it is a dirt lot with a lot of potholes as is to be expected. Avoid this parking spot when it rains or snows. There are two trash cans right here next to the parking area. Use them! Your mother does not work here.

Defiantly not Whataburger quality! Food is usually ok but not great. Tea is good half the time the rest of the time it's like drinking swamp water... if they even have it. Staff - um - let's just say they are not professional, at least not to someone no longer in High School.

Soda Machine down "Parked" as well as other vehicles in line so they can avoid their window time reflecting accurate wait times for orders. After paying for my order with one person a 2nd person came up and asked for payment. I told her I had paid already. She laughed and said "ok". But she really thought I still needed to pay because they had so many parked waiting already

Burgers are never salty enough, can't even taste them most of the time. I had a chicken sandwich for the first time, it looked like it had been deep fried to death. Skip the chicken and go for the tasteless burgers instead. If like to point out they made me wait 5 extra minutes for chicken

Food was good got the jalapeño burger and fries. Soda fountain was out of syrups for most but products and it took them a little to restock it. Biggest reason for 3 star was the 1hr wait for food. I was apologized to they lost my ticket/order so when 30-45 minutes passed and i asked they were quick to jump on it. Staff was friendly very busy location

We stopped in at 4:30am on our way back home for some road breakfast. Upon entering, there were drunk kids ordering at the register. Our turn came up, and the cashier was really.. um, let’s just say she does NOT like her job. She seemed to be very annoyed that we were there to order food. The floors and tables were dirty in the lobby, there wasn’t any tea whatsoever, the bathroom stalls in the women’s bathroom were dirty and didn’t have toilet paper. The good thing is, they got our food order right, and there was plenty of parking and even truck parking on the side. So, if you’re in a rig, there is room for you here.

The Fry's did not taste good at all. The burger was good. One of the other people asked for dressing with their salad and didn't get it. Another person told me that they had to go back to get their ranch.

Wait, a burger is generally slow. We understand that, but today it took even longer and while our server was very polite, he was very unorganized. Usually when we order coffee, they will ask us if we want cream and sugar. This time he didn't. Because it's early we didn't say anything at the drive through. When we did get our coffee. We tried to tell him we wanted cream and sugar, but he just handed it to us and left. We tried to get their attention a few times but they didn't see us, which is okay, because I'm know they're busy. The food was okay. We had a taquito, and a breakfast on a bun and those were fine, but the hash browns were way overcooked and greasy gross. Appearance: we, finally got our cream and sugar and our food. We pulled forward to the trash cans area and those were full in fact, there was garbage falling out of them and around on the ground.

How hard is it to get good help these days. When you have 5 crew members just up front and only 2 cars in the drive through, why is it so difficult to get an order correct. After picking off the onions and lettuce and ignoring that the bacon I paid for wasn't on there, at least the food was still good.

The staff are all very kind, but kindness doesn’t get my order correct. I’m not sure how a taquito and a breakfast on a bun could get mixed up, but somehow they did that. Typically I’d just turn around, but I’d already taken an extra 15 minutes out of my commute, because really really wanted a BECBOB.. if I wanted a breakfast “taquito” I’d go to a taqueria, where it’s actually done correctly. What a waste of my time and money first thing in the morning. Plus now I get to spend more money on food I actually want. 🙄

Maybe they're decent during the day, but don't bother with this location overnight. Unless you want stale, overcooked food what been sitting around all night. Barely edible, do better.

Ever since ownership was sold to an investment firm NOT in Texas there has been a slow, steady decline in quality and service, but a RAPID increase in pricing. This ain't The Capitol Grille or even 5 Guys but your wallet will think so. For what I spent on just a Monterey Melt and fries (no drink) I could go to the store and buy enough to feed at least 4 people. Bye bye Whataburger.

I unfortunately can't give this Whataburger a good review it does have truck parking a small amount however, the service is extreamly slow. I have only had one experience here but, it will be my last. I had the original Whataburger and the person taking my order asked me if I wanted everything on it I said yes i got the burger to go so i couldn't return it if so that would have taken another 35 minutes. the burger was overcooked and didn't have any cheese on it maybe that's on me but I thought when you ask for everthing everything meant cheese as well also the bottom bun was very stale. I was very disappointed with this meal.

The last time I was sitting in the drive-thru for 15 minutes and was never greeted and had to go to Sonic to get something to eat. This was on Monday, August 7th around 930 am. The time before that, it took me 30 min to get food thru the drive-thru and they have never given me any condiments such as salt, pepper, napkins, and ketchup. Come on, this is a drive-thru, I should get this when I'm on the road working and I shouldn't have to request it. I will no longer be contributing to this location. They are incompetent and their manager lets their kids run wild inside. I do not recommend stopping here when paying thru this area. They need better leadership to enforce better customer relations. 😤

This could be the best whataburger, but I will never know. Great location, large parking lot for trucks and RVs and nice bathrooms. The food was not good. Cheese was cold on the burgers and French fries were old and just warm. I asked for the Diet Coke to be changed when we first fixed our drinks, but by the time we left it was not fixed. They had plenty of staff and were not that busy. We have stopped at this whataburger many times, but we wont be back. Very disappointed. 🙁

Ordered an online order at 930 am, was told it would be ready in 5-10 minutes. Arrived and had to sit in the drive thru over 30 minutes because a sign on the lobby doors (which were locked) said they were short handed and so all orders had to go through the drive thru and lobby was closed. Wasted a lot of my time. The whole reason I ordered online was so I wouldn’t have to sit in the drive through. Had I not already paid for my food, I would have driven off. There appeared to be only two people working. If you are in a hurry to get quick food, I would not recommend coming here.

I've tried using mobile ordering three times now, every time I have waited over an hour for my food from the time of ordering. I'm currently sitting here after 30 minutes of waiting on my food after I said it would be done. Sure the food is decent, but it's nowhere near the wait. Going in or using the drive-thru isn't any better. This is my last time coming to this location.

Went through the drive thru and was asked to park. They did give me a drink. Unfortunately, it wasn’t what I ordered to drink, so I went in and was immediately told,”we asked you to park your food isn’t ready.” I told them my drink was wrong and the you girl said, “I can’t take that back, you might have something.” I sat the tea on their counter and went to the restroom. I returned and just asked for my money back. She then told me, “I can’t.” So, told her someone can and get that someone up there. This has probably been the worst service I’ve received. I have no way of knowing if the refund went through. I’ll have to complete a charge back. This is the first Whataburger I stopped at after being in California for 9 months. Gave Sonic my business. Smh #WelcomeBackToTexas

50/50 on customer service. Order taker good this time and window person was a bit rude. Food was good and fresh. Parking lot is absolutely horrible. On last visit, they messed up our order, a young male employee tried to ask a manager how to fix it and the female manager cussed to him, blaming us, where the whole store could hear her vulgar language and nasty attitude. Completely unacceptable from a manager. Other employees and the food was great.

If there was a "Hall of Shame" this place should be in it. Whataburger is usually really good but based on my one experience (now two experiences), this location is just terrible. Went through the drive through on Saturday 05/21 around 11:00 am. Four vehicles were ahead of me in line. It took 36 minutes from the time I ordered until I received my food. It was a small order consisting of one Whataburger combo and a green chili double combo. Drive through personnel had each of us pull up since food wasn't ready, and they weren't too friendly about it either. They sent wrong orders out to me twice -- from what I observed, they did the same to other customers. When I finally received the correct order, burgers and fries were ice cold. Also, the green chilies were nearly black (something I discovered when I bit into the sandwich a few minutes later) - burned to a crisp. Food was virtually inedible -- an unfortunate waste of money. Food was awful. Service was awful. The only good thing I can say about the experience is: At least I didn't get sick. Next time I stop in Clyde, I'll try one of the other fast food alternatives and avoid this location at all costs. Update: 01/10/2023... Had another horrible experience. Employee hygiene needs to be addressed. Your young man with long black hair / greasy . Your employees need to adopt better hygiene as they are handling food. I was disgusted with his and others appearance . Please improve this.

It took them forever to get my food, which was there waiting. They were supposed to bring it to my table, but didn't and didn't call my number either. I had to go ask, so naturally the food was cold.

On the first leg of a 2 day road trip, my husband and I stopped here for a quick bite. Well, we thought it would be quick. In the drive thru, we were greeted right away but told to wait to order even though we knew what we wanted. We waited patiently, and after 3 or 4 minutes we asked if we were able to order. A completely different person came on to take our order, surprised that we had not yet ordered, and we pull around to wait for the cars in front of us to be served. As we were waiting, a car was pulled up waiting for their food, and the cars in front of us all went around that waiting car. When we got to the window, we were handed our drinks right away, but it took another 25 minutes to receive our food. Meanwhile, the lady in the waiting car went inside and spoke heatedly to the counter staff and drove off angrily without food. We kept waiting and finally received our food, but the fries were cooler than we usually receive them at our home location. The sandwiches were delicious, but definitely not worth waiting 30 minutes for. Masks were worn by staff, but patrons inside were not wearing masks and were touching their faces and rubbing their noses, which is not settling in this pandemic. If you are concerned with masklessness and are in a hurry, keep driving, because even though the burgers were good, the line may not move quickly.

Apparently, they don't greet you at the drive-thru. You're apparently just supposed to pull up and start talking. I waited 5 mins or more for them to say something so I blew the horn. They were listening the whole time instead of letting me know I could order. Then had the audacity to ask me why I blew the horn. Will never stop here again. If their not smart enough to tell when their ready for me to order then I don't recommend them. The lady at the window was mouthy because I blew the horn. Maybe next time she should try doing her job.

My wife and I stopped by this Whataburger in Clyde, Texas on Sunday March 9th. It was in or around 6pm. The restaurant was very slow meaning only a few cars in the lot and we were the only car in the drive thru. My wife ordered the #2 Double Meat Burger, fries, and Diet Coke. I ordered the Mushroom Burger, onion rings, unsweet iced tea. It was a long wait in the drive thru however, everyone was very nice. Later in the evening my wife started feeling uneasy in her stomach but just thought it was from the greasy burger. Shortly after midnight she started throwing up. She spent the next day in bed with symptoms of food poisoning. We are fans of the Whataburger franchise, however, we will stay clear of this one and recommend others do the same.

If I could leave ZERO stars I absolutely would… I ordered DoorDash from Whataburger and upon pulling my food out there were CRUSTY BOOGERS on the packaging. Someone needs to wash their hands. I am beyond DISGUSTED. I better not get sick.

So much for 24 hours I work nights driving a truck like to stop and eat a hot meal at times but looks like this place isn't 24hr like all the other whataburgers I stop at even though they have a sign 24hr

So back in July I went through the drive way here. Single order. Followed instructions. One truck was in front of me. I waited. Pulled up to the window. Waited some more. Looked in the read view mirror and saw they were giving an order to the truck behind me. They then came to me and tried to take my payment which I refused my order and told them I saw what they did and I didn't appreciated waiting in line just to have them jump people in front of me. Manager apologized and blamed the line worker said it would never happen again. Today, the second visit to this location after this last July I waited in line in the drive through to order. Followed directions after giving the same single order. This time they pulled the two vehicles up to the side of me as I waited for the pay window. They went to the other two vehicles, even tried to give my order to them. The car next to me got their order first, they made the car in front of them move up to get out of the way so they could leave. I brought this up to the person at the window. They said it was their policy now to do this. Yes, that's right, a company instituted a policy to put a person at the end of the line and have them wait for every one else to move out of the way to get their food which was then cold. Way to go Clyde Waterburger. I will never do business with that store again.

Absolutely horrible! Worst service ever! Ordered a carry out of 2 onion rings and 3 shakes. I'm currently at 20min and they finally handed me my orings and never made my shakes. When I asked at 15min they had forgot to even cook the rings. A guy before me got his money back after a long time waiting and they said they had cleared his order without making it. At the end of typing this review, they just told me for a third time they're making my shakes... no I haven't got them.

I got in line at 11:57am on Sunday the 27th. There were 7 cars ahead of me. My order was not taken until 12:16 and I didn’t receive my food until 12:34pm. I also did not have correct items on my burger. I asked for cheese Mayo and ketchup. Received no ketchup or not enough to even see it very little Mayo and no cheese. I ordered for three people two whataburger combos and a whatachicken combo and the girl sped thru reviewing order so didn’t catch that she didn’t get it right. The part that pushed my buttons was the burger was flat and not their usual quality yet I had to wait over a half hour and it wasn’t that busy. No one has 37 minutes of time to spend in a fast food restaurant line. Especially since I do not consider 7 cars busy. They were pulling cars into two lanes but people still being pulled ahead to wait on food after they paid. Which is ridiculous. Y’all need to get with an efficiency manager and rework your drive thru. Look at chick Fil a they get easily 30 cars or more in and out of the drive thru in same time. This is third time I’ve visited a Whataburger in last two months and waited 30 minutes or more which is significant since I don’t live within 100 miles of one which means we don’t go often. At this point it’s not worth it. I hate McDonald’s but will happily go there and be 20 minutes down the road in the same half hour time rather than stuck in drivethru.

We stopped here and ordered at 5:35... at 6:15 we still had not gotten our food that was to go but at least 10 people that ordered 15-20 minutes after us were already eating theirs. We got a refund after throwing a fit and demanding one. The store was filthy, hair and trash sind the soda machine and condiments. Bathroom.. filthy. So the tea, sweet and unsweetened was out. It was a terrible experience for a store that is located on the interstate and legendary to texas. We will not be back.

I waited in line in the drive-through for 17 minutes with only one car in front of me who is already sitting at the window when I got there to order. The Dr Pepper sucks, it’s not busy and it doesn’t have enough syrup, the fries are stale and cold, and the chicken is barely warm at all. That is absolutely ridiculous. I already wasted enough time in the line I’m not going back through to get it fixed. I might as well go home and make something myself. The woman taking my order was rude. The young man at the window was quick and efficient by the time I pulled up. I felt like my food was sitting there for a while. I don’t know what’s going on since I normally come and have a good meal but that was unacceptable.

How bad is it cashier urges you to write a bad review. According to her and 2 other employees the management here is incompetent. They refuse to address long range maintenance problems as as a result the drink system exploded flooding the kitchen. The employees says no one is shocked

Dined in on 11/02/2025...the worst restaurant service of my life! After almost 45 minutes of no food, come to find out that they lost my wife's and my order. They've got it, finally...but order was wrong. I was missing my breakfast hashbrowns! I was not happy...did not make a scene! Did not ask for my hashbrowns because I was not the only one going through this! Yeah other people were waiting! Looked like no manager was on site. I felt sorry for the young cashier! She was having a nervous break down! Will never go back to this location!

Ordered online as we were passing by. When we got home, we were missing one of our main entrees. When we called, the manager said we had to come back out (an hour drive for us, one way) to either get the order fixed or to get a partial refund. This is the most recent of many times this has happened at this Whataburger. Never trust them to get your order right. If something is missing, it won't be fries, it'll be the main dish.

if I could give a lower score I would...sat in there drive through for 35min waiting on food never received it, finally I had to ask for a refund... Got no apology or nothing worst store I have ever been to and will not be going back to this one.

$4 for a "Medium" order of onion rings that had all of 6 small undercooked gooey onion rings. Ordered a plain double cheeseburger with mayo only, so it would be have to be made fresh. I received a cold in the center double cheeseburger with ketchup. No receipt was given, nor was one offered. This location has been horrendous for years but I always give it a chance to see if a new management team has fixed things. The answer is always no. This franchise should be revoked from the owners.
