Hidden in the shopping center next to dollar tree. The place was packed. The hotel staff recommended us to go there for mexican food. We ordered the enchiladas and thin steaks. Enough to share for two people. I had the "gin on still" it was light and not too sweet.

One of my all time favorite restaurants, my favorite in the area for sure. Unusual variety of items plus ones I'm familiar with. I love the cheese enchiladas, rice and beans. My husband loves their chicken mole. Good portions, not sopping with sauce like many others. Fresh flavors, nice casual atmosphere, and always friendly excellent service.

​I just visited Plazuelas and was blown away by the entire experience. It’s rare to find a spot that hits the trifecta of food, service, and atmosphere so perfectly. The food was so flavorful! We got the pollo mole and enchiladas mineras. I definitely recommend both dishes. We look forward to trying other dishes next time. ​The staff made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. Our server was attentive without being overbearing and gave us excellent recommendations for both drinks and food. Thank you! See you all soon!

Food was absolutely fantastic with fast, friendly service and generous portions. The enchiladas verdes were outstanding—full of flavor and perfectly prepared. I was here visiting from Houston Texas and was really craving some Mexican food, but it was a little hard to find in this area. We came across this place and thank God we did because it was AMAZING! I was very impressed by the quality of their food and how authentic it tasted compared to other “Mexican” restaurants in the area. We ordered a quesabirria plate and I ordered gorditas and let me tell ya, I was in heaven for a second lol! If you’re in the area and you’re looking for great authentic MEXICAN food this is the spot!

This place was fantastic. From the bar tender to the waiters, staff and Food. As soon as I entered I felt refreshed. The music took me back to great memories. Lets talk food, I ordered mole and it was fantastic and authentic for the region.( There are many varieties so don't hate). I was pleased my food didn't have cheese or sour cream on it. (Shredded Cheese on Mexican food is a big sign the food is not going to be great and definitely not authentic). My husband ordered fish tacos and the flavor was delicious.he would order again. Ohhhj, the drinks!!! The Oaxacan cocktails are off the chain and you must order one! I got the Bracero... highly recommend it. I say, if there was a negative, it is that they only had 1 salsa and it was very liquidy. No spicy salsa according to the waiter.

A fantastic Mexican restaurant with an authentic vibe and a big selection of traditional dishes. The flavors are amazing but some meals can be very spicy, so choose carefully if you are sensitive to heat.
