Always good breakfast and lunch! 😁 The Reuben i had was awesome 😎

We eat here 3 to 4 times per month. Overall, meals are very reasonably priced and there is a nice selection with daily specials. Only once was the food order overlooked and we waited quite awhile (ironically the waitress hadn't noticed, and by the time we got another waitress's attention and she checked on it, it was well over an hour and a half for a couple burgers), but that is not our normal experience here. And don't forget to check out the ice cream in the summer!

What’s not to love about this place? Friendly people, good food, great ice cream. A must-go if you’re in the Cobleskill area.

Sat down at the counter and a waitress was there almost immediately asking me what I wanted to drink and with the menu. Was back shortly to take my order, the food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Emily the waitress could not have been better. And don’t forget to get the ice cream!

I went with three of my friends and all ordered something different, as far as my order, I ordered a Belgian waffle with strawberries and whip cream. The strawberries tasted Great and I was pleased. A great diner with really good food! Parking lot was pretty full so I wasn't sure if there would be seating, bit it's bigger than it appears. Staff was very nice, it was clean, and cute decor.

My daughter is going to college at SUNY Cobleskill and we have went here a few times now and it was great! It reminds me of the diners I used to eat at when I was a kid that we don't have many of these days. The staff is wonderful and prices are great too, and of course the food is awesome. The fries are cooked perfect!

Cozy atmosphere! I unfortunately haven't been to the actual diner, only the connecting ice cream shop. However, that doesn't change tbe fact that the ice cream was absolutely delicious! Next time I'm in Cobelskill, I would love to try the diner!

Wife and I were in the area ahd had to stop here based on reviews claiming huge and delicious ice cream. Had dinner first, which, while good, may have been a mistake, as it reduced room for ice cream. I had a veggie burger and was able to get another set of topping with the veggke patty for a small upcharge. Nicely prepared (Swiss cheese, jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, spicy sauce) and a surprise black bean party instead of the standard subpar veg patty. Wife had a simple grilled cheese with homemade mashed potatoes. Basic and tasty. The real treat was the ice cream. As good as advertised, and indeed large portions for the money. My "small" sundae had a homemade-tastings brownie with about 8 oz of ice cream, rich, thick, and creamy. It was really good. Decor was comfortable, wood and country type setting, looked recently decorated. Service was warm, friendly and attentive. If you're in the area, stop by.

This place is beyond excellent. We had an incredibly friendly waitress who felt like a friend by the end of the meal. The burger I had (Bacon Cheddar Ranch) was excellent. My wife had a turkey sandwich and fries that she loved. Then came their dessert menu... probably the most impressive one I've ever seen at a restaurant. We ended up with the Brownie Sundae which was fantastic. We wish we had been staying longer to make multiple trips here and try other things... will try to get back here from TN sometime in the future.

This place was recommended and now I know why!! .. very good ice cream.! This place is known for crazyyyy large ice cream portions and low price. Dairy queen has nothing on them. They have a restaurant inside which has a very cozy setting and plenty tables to sit outside. If I lived in this area I would visit often. Also beautiful views!

Cobleskill Diner was great. When we walked in, the restaurant felt very much like we were at home. It had a festive feel to it and it was a nice place to grab a quick bite to eat. I recommend trying their meatloaf with gravy. (Biased opinion as it was the only thing I had) Hope you enjoy it! 😀

This is a typical down home diner. It was packed for a Sunday evening. We were a party of 5, we were seated immediately. Our server was attentive and the food was delicious. I had the French onion soup and a Reuben sandwich. So good, my only regret was that I did not have room for ice cream. Their ice cream looked scrumptious and the servings were enormous! Next time...

Very nice small town diner. It is very popular and has a crowd all the time. And that is well deserved. The food or great and well priced. The staff are genuinely just nice people. Very good experience.

The meatloaf dinner my associate had was very good. It did need to be re-heated after it was served, but tasted very good. The Chicken Parmesan sub was good, in that the actual chicken was delicious. I think there was a bit too much garlic flavor in the sandwich, and the amount of mozzarella was a bit excessive. Overall, for a quick “on the road” meal it was OK, but certainly not a “destination” for your road trip.

Salad was great. A little pricey but I'd order it again. EDITING TO SAY food is hit or miss. My first salad was 9.5/10 today's 6or 7/10

My family and I stopped for a late lunch. The restaurant was pretty busy and seemed to keep that way the entire time we were there. The wait staff seemed very friendly and the food was good. Seems like a popular place for locals to gather. My entire family was happy with their meal and I would like to try other items they have.

Stopped by here on a road trip, looking for a hearty meal ahead of a day of driving. I got an eggs, bacon, toast, and home fries combo, and a slice of chocolate pie. Everything was very tasty and really hit the spot. The juice glasses were HUGE. Certainly ample portions all around. While our waitress was absolutely lovely and kind, the overall service was a bit frustratingly slow. We saw every other table that was around us (including people who arrived after us) get their food before ours finally came out. They were very attentive with the coffee though. I recognize it was a Sunday morning and such, but it did seem like our order just got lost for a bit.

Classic diner.. was shocked for not getting real potatoes for home fries.. But the staff has great personality. Good hangover spot.

I give them a 4.8!! Which is an amazing score. It gets a perfect 5 stars as far as food and service. Very fast from when I was seated till the food arrived. Best omelet I've had in over 20 years. The Marine Corps Chow hall made the best in my opinion. Very friendly atmosphere and I recommend it to everyone. Biggest ice cream cones are also available there as well.

I wanted to give this diner 5 stars. The ladies were so nice and the food was very delicious. I ordered the hot turkey sandwich and it was like thanksgiving came early with one minor issue. The mashed potatoes were cold! Cole mashed potatoes are just sad. Seriously. The only reason I ordered that sandwich was because of the mashed potatoes. Cold mashed potatoes takes the comfort right out of comfort food. Everyone else enjoyed their plates, though. So I have to give credit where credit is due. That strawberry pie was phenomenal.

Me and my mom both got the roasted turkey club(highly recommend over deli(trust me there's a difference lol) it was really good, my mom says its the best she's had in years, they do serve breakfast all day. I would definitely go again for just a quick lunch date

It was your average diner food. Good if you want to go out and not have to cook, but nothing to rave or write home about. Our waitress seemed new because she didn't know the answers to most of our menu questions. There was no soap in the bathroom. Would definitely go again, but only giving 4 stars because there's definitely room to improve.

Food was good ,the customer service was excellent. They were busy so it took a little bit to get the food but that's expected. The ice cream was melting and really just a ooey gooey Mass. They had to put it in a bowl upside down because it was 90% melted when we got it. And it was Vanilla Ice Cream with food dye in it. Overall a great place to eat

Must be a local favorite for an affordable lunch meal. Went for a quick dinner (visiting nearby Howe caverns). Place was empty on a Saturday evening. Old dated dining room, homey feel, very friendly staff - but the food was so salty, dry meatballs, over-fried appetizers.

The fried fish was expensive and it wasn't that good. Mashed potatoes were cold, undercooked, and very lumpy. The entire diner needs to be updated. The waitress was pleasant. Didn't stay for dessert.

One can quickly determine that this is a favorite hangout for the locals. This place was packed for breakfast and lunch. We had breakfast here with friends. Our order was taken quickly and delivered quickly. Then.....service stopped. Not once did our server stop back by to make sure we had everything we needed. It was like she was trying to avoid eye contact with us. We had to ask for jelly for our buttered toast. Our water glasses were never refilled, despite asking other staff members to please bring us a refill of water. The final insult was, after waiting for a long time, after we finished our meal, I had to flag down a server and ask her to please tell our server that we needed our ticket. Great food, great atmosphere but very poor service. I almost didn't leave a tip.

Took 55 minutes to get our food. The short waitress kept saying there was a rush but if you ordered the special it came out first before anyone else's order. Poor time management at one point the same waitress said other orders came out first because they were easier? Several people left due to no one even taking their order and just before we left the waitress finally asked if I wanted a coffee refill. Probably won't go there again.

Waitress was excellent. Food was either burnt, overcooked, or cold-ish, and was very pricey for what it was and for the area. NYC prices. Not worth it. Won't be back. Also, they advertise Breakfast All Day yet they won't serve biscuits and gravy after a certain time, which is what I wanted. It would've been nice to know before we went.

We had to wait for a table, which is fine. Except for the fact we waited over a half and hour and watched larger parties that came in after us, seated before us. When I tried to get a servers attention we were ignored. I put their silly laminated number on the desk and left.

Food was terrible. After waiting for about a half hour you would think the food would at least taste good. NOT AT ALL. The toast was the only thing that was half decent. The pork chop was warm, not even hot. Had absolutely NO FLAVOR!! Potatoes taste old and the pork chop had no flavor and slightly overcooked.
