I don't speak Italian, but everything was perfect. The pizza was 100% Italian, well-priced, and of great quality. It was freshly prepared. Everything was perfect.
We're a group of friends on a sports trip to Varazze. We're looking for a place to grab a pizza, and the guys from our opposing sports team recommend this place. We called way late for a standard reservation (7:00 PM), and they easily found us a spot for 8:00 PM. We had a great meal: tasty pizzas, well-topped, and a good dough that was perfectly cooked. The waitress and manager were welcoming and smiling, and the pizza + dessert + drink + liqueur were all very competitively priced; you won't find anything similar at that price in La Spezia. We'll be back.
Every time we go on vacation, it's a regular stop. The food is plentiful, delicious, and reasonably priced; the service is fast and friendly.

We've been eating at "Al Pirata" for years, and I can say they're getting better every day. The pizzas are amazing, and if you prefer, they also have fresh fish or meat options. We usually always order fried squid to share. It's superb: dry, crispy, flavorful, and finally, the taste of the sea... truly delicious. The owners are friendly, approachable, and above all, helpful, as is, of course, all the staff. The prices are reasonable; in fact, for the quality/price ratio, they're EXCELLENT! Highly recommended!!
The pizzas are excellent but now I only come here for the fried food... Excellent and plentiful
The restaurant is cozy, the staff is nice... The food is fresh and delicious, all kinds of pizza... the interior is sea-themed, because there is 100 meters of sea nearby... I recommend visiting and the prices are favorable👍

Very welcoming pizzeria! The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. They accommodated all our needs, and the wait time was very short. The pizza was very good, I highly recommend it! The manager and all the workers are very friendly! :)
New location, in the alley in front of the station but always good pizzas.
Excellent pizza. Good service. White plastic tables and chairs. They're attentive to their customers, although I'd increase the number of people per table. I'd install electric mosquito nets for the outside and kitchen.

Good morning I would have really liked to try your place following the reviews however today Sunday 29 December it is marked as open instead you are closed for holidays. Now it is legitimate to decide to take the holidays just report them on google to not induce wrong choices. Best regards
We waited an hour and a half for takeout pizzas, rude and arrogant staff! Never order pizza there again!!!!!! Takeout pizzas were "baby" and cold!!!
I gave it 1 star because it's the best. €15 for a grilled octopus tentacle (they have 8), bitter in the burned parts, on a bed of bitter arugula. My daughter had a hot dog pizza: 15 2mm slices of hot dog... about 3cm... less than half a hot dog. Pathetic and meaningless. Clearly the receipt is that unknown person.
Worst service I've ever had from a pizzeria. We ordered four pizzas for delivery, and two of them were WRONG. We called the restaurant, and they treated us like idiots. They remade one of the two pizzas for us (we said no to the second one), and we expected it to be offered to us due to the misunderstanding. They didn't apologize at all (one of the guys was vegan and received a pizza with ham on it) and even asked us to return the pizza!! (I just hope the returned pizza wasn't given to someone else cold.) One word: BAD.
exaggerated prices, embarrassing and burnt pizza, non-existent toppings, takeaway the cardboard was definitely softer, embarrassing
