This place lives up to the hype. Some of the best Korean fried chicken I've had. Got the boneless wings with Mr Lee sauce. Perfectly golden crispy batter on the outside. Juicy tender chicken on the inside. Sauce was delish as well.
If you’re going to Wing Stop or Buffalo Wild Wings I feel bad for you, son. I got 99 problems, but Mr. Lee ensures chicken ain’t one. You know how they say Asians do everything better? Well, Koreans seem to have expanded that realm to fried chicken. A beautifully crispy skin while still juicy and tender on the inside. You also choose from a myriad of flavors that they toss on top these already well seasoned morsels of perfection. My favorites are garlic, jalapeño, and Mr. Lee’s sauce (a sweet, savory, spicy concoction).
The quality of this chicken is really good. Meat is juicy. Usually, boneless tends to be a little dry, but this is not. Probably the best chicken i've had in this area. They don't skip on quality. That is for sure. If you have a big appetite, You're looking to spend about $20+ It's on another level compared to KFC, Chick-fil-A, and Wild Wings.
The place was so clean. The worker who took our order was very friendly! The food came out relatively quick. They definitely have the best Kimbap I’ve tried in the area! I’ll be a returning customer for sure.
Their boneless chicken is my favorite thing on the menu. I've tried all the flavors, but the Mr. Lee flavor has my heart. It's sauced perfectly, but I always get the little tub of extra sauce for dipping because it's too yummy. I'm sad I'm moving soon- I hope to find a Korean fried chicken place just as good, but I will be indulging in Mr. Lee Chicken while I'm still around :)
Delicious, high quality chicken! Crispy and not too greasy. The kimbap is amazing too. Service is great and I enjoyed interacting with the staff, everyone was very friendly. The restaurant is clean and spacious. I've tried a few Korean fried chicken places in the area and Mr Lee Chicken is by far the best.
Delicious, crispy, sauced up wings. Best Korean styled wings I’ve eaten. Gone here several times and the best flavored wings are the spicy ones. Great service. Employees have great attitude. Worth the wait (which isn’t even that long) because they’re fresh and cook them when you order. Definitely high quality food.
Food is delicious. Great customer service 👏.
You wouldn't think there would be as much competition for Korean fried Chicken in Concord as there is, but despite the other options also being great Mr. Lee stands out as the best in town. We love how they butterfly their drumsticks before dreading which leads to he impressively sized pieces of easy to eat perfectly crispy and juicy chicken. The Mr. Lee sauce is the best, you can't go wrong with the honey butter either.
The best fried chicken you will ever eat. Lifechanging. The coating shatters in your mouth with how crispy it is. Mr. Lee Chicken has ruined all other Korean Fried Chicken for me. My girlfriend and I plan dates to head up to Concord from the East Bay just to order at Mr. Lee's. Get the spicy and never look back. Pool table is also a fun amenity if you eat in.
Best chicken wings I’ve ever had. All of the food seemed very fresh and was fantastic. But the wings were next level! Mr. Lees sauce was amazing. Our new favorite wing place!
If you haven’t tried Mr. Lee Chicken yet, you’re seriously missing out on the best Korean fried chicken in town! From the very first bite, I was hooked. The chicken is unbelievably juicy, with a perfectly crispy, golden coating that’s packed with flavor. Every piece is a masterpiece—tender, savory, and seasoned to perfection. What really sets Mr. Lee Chicken apart is how they nail that authentic Korean style. The sauces? Out of this world. Whether you’re into sweet and tangy or spicy with a kick, they’ve got a flavor that will blow your mind. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was cooked fresh to order. You can taste the care and quality in every bite. This isn’t just a meal—it’s an experience. Do yourself a favor: skip the generic fried chicken spots and head to Mr. Lee Chicken. Trust me, one visit and you’ll be telling everyone you know. This place deserves all the hype!
Food is really good! Just amazing. My son and me pigged out. The order taker is very nice and patient. They even have a robot server. Excellent! The Music has been lowered and it's much more pleasant and easier to talk when eating in.
This place was amazing! My friends and I were visiting from out of town and there’s korean fried chicken back home but none is nearly this good! The portions were so generous and everything was amazing. Besides the chicken I highly recommend their tteokbokki. If I’m ever in town again I will definitely come back!
Cool spot, I just moved to the area from Brentwood and I've wanted to try Korean fried chicken. My wife and I tore that chicken up not cheap but damn tasty. The dips are good too. I'm going back alone tomorrow to watch sports and play pool.
First time trying Mr Lee Chicken. We had the chicken with Me Lee sauce which was good. Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We also had the Kimchi Fried Rice and Bulgogi Kimbab. Kimchi Fried Rice had a little kick in it. First time with the Bulgogi Kimbab. Pretty good. It's like having rice roll. We came in on a Sunday and it wasn’t busy at all. Perfect time to go.
Clean restaurant, good music, and the wings were fresh and delicious. They were the best wings I've ever had.
The food and service were great. Fresh fried and cooked food! The chicken Katsu was delicious and was a good size portion for the price! Highly recommend this spot for some good classic Korean bbq
2/15/25 update I love this place it's my favorite chicken place I've been here at least 10 times. There are tvs, pool tables, beer on tap, fries, sweet potato, and ramen. I would suggest trying the Mr. Lee sauce or yangnyum on the fried chicken. We go every week, enough that I brought his shirt 🤣 You won't be disappointed in the food, and there's dessert /boba shops next door.
Fresh, delicious, quality chicken. We liked that the chickens are made at the time of order. The restaurant is huge and clean with a warm inviting atmosphere. I ordered yangnyum and Mr.Lee chicken which were delicious and crispy! This will be my go-to place for korean fried chicken!
Everything was very good, definitely coming back
10 outta 10. Went here with classmates. Their chicken are so delicious. Never had korean chicken until now. I will be back with my family.
Ok, so it was on Christmas. I’m a single person and my kids are grown and out of town. I had fancy food 2 days in a row and I just didn’t want to cook. Looked to see what was close by and honestly I thought mmm chicken. It was tasty. I had the mr Lee sauce And Parmesan rub. Had some tasty white radish marinated and just sat there and enjoyed. Oh they have pool tables !!??!!

Some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of fried chicken. I’d put Mr. Lee’s up against even some of the best of the bay like San Tung in SF. It really is that good! Get the Mr. Lee’s and Yang yum flavors! Go get some chicken and tell me I’m not lying here! The kimbap was also very yummy and perfect.
Amazing food and excellent service! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back. 10/10!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Had lunch here yesterday and was really impressed with the quality of my Kanchu Salad. 😋 Kitchen very clean as well as the restaurant. I recommend Mr. Lee Chicken

Loved this place! Food was amazing and environment is very chill, even for kids. Some of the best fried chicken (both white & dark meat) we've ever experienced. It was great they offered other Korean dishes too. Service has some room for improvement but it didn't significantly detract from our experience. They got our drink order wrong (ordered a pint but poured a pitcher) but offered a 20% discount. Didn't have enough metal silverware but gave plastic utensils. 100% coming back and will be in our regular lineup!
5 stars for their chicken. It's delicious, well cooked, and they still serve chicken breasts when many fried chicken restaurants dropped them from the menu several years ago. 3 stars for the fried rice dishes. The amount is so small it would only fit a small single portion rice container from another restaurant but they put it in a big plastic container that is less than half full. Tastes good but is a ripoff. Barely enough for 2 people to have a serving. The big plastic container doesn't even seem economical to use but it makes the amount look bigger before you dig in and realize it's only a 2 cm thick layer of rice in there. I've tried fried rice from here several times because I thought the serving size might improve since they are a relatively new restaurant but this has been a consistent experience.
really delicious chicken ! we got their half and half chicken (garlic and fried w/ mr. lee's sauce on the side), parmesan fries, tteokbokki, and corn cheese. i only really liked their chicken, the other dishes were alright. service here was unreasonably slow, probably understaffed is my guess
Pretty good, I like the honey chicken, but the plain chicken could use a little more seasoning. They were very understaffed. The plates were brought out one-by-one, which I assume is because they didn't have enough people. The ice machine also wasn't working. Despite the things mentioned above, they do have some pretty tasty food. I'd come back again for a lunch.
My mom wanted to try this place. It was good. The chicken was crunchy and flavorful. We tried the Garlic and Soy. They were both good. I liked the soy a bit more. An even better thing would be if you could mix the two together. Not sure if they do that.
- 4 stars for the food, we ordered whole chicken half garlic half yangyum and corn cheese. Garlic sauce was flavorless, so I highly recommend yangyum and other sauce. - 2 stars for the services, like other mentioned, there is only 1 waiter (look like he did'nt want to be there working lol) and another Mexican cook. The wait time is around 20 minutes. - 4 stars for the atmosphere. Not crowded, has pool tables and lots of TVs for sports.

Overall pretty good delicious food. Got pork belly ramen and was delicious I ate it all. Was told that ordering food for in-restaurant was at a table and for to-go was upfront at counter. To be fair this was my first time here and my friend and I did get here at around 9pm so close to final 2 hours, fairly empty inside, at first glance upon entry it’s not really clear how you order for in-restaurant, so I think it could be improved! I was pointed to a sign (maybe the owner?) about how to order food but that was until after I ordered. My friend found the menu on mobile website to be kind of a struggle but I found it fine to navigate. Overall the ambient is nice, I enjoyed my meal. 4/5
not too crowded during daytime. very clean and organized kitchen. very fast service, delicious food, specially the fried rice was so good. overall great place to come by and share a meal, but the music seemed too loud for me. their lunch box set is an amazing deal with good portion and suitable price.
Good place to play pool. Food is good. Good prices for food. It does get really hot inside on a warm day. They could use better air conditioning. Overall it's a great place to eat and shoot pool.

The chicken overall tasted good but the drumsticks were pretty torn apart and so the breading was fairly uneven on the fried chicken. I did takeout and the food was ready right when they said it was and packed nicely
Atmosphere and the service was pretty good but I was really disappointed with the quality of the food. I got chicken sandwich combo and my sandwich was so dry. I don’t know if I’d come back.
The restaurant was having plumbing issues as I noticed walking in just with the smell. It smelled a lot like a sewage drain clogged up. The floors were not very clean as well. Customer service was excellent and the food was good. I ordered parmesean fries. They were good. Hot and fresh. Will I return....MAYBE.

Food was really good, but Mr Lee is not a good person. Extremely un friendly and rude. I barely write a review and when I do it’s cause I enjoyed my server or the service but felt inclined to let people know.
Expensive for the amount we received. The chicken was fried in old grease and it gave the skin a strange flavor. First and last visit for me.

This is just horrible. I was told that is was because it was new oil but the taste was horrible and the chicken doesn't even look appetizing. When I called they said they it was new oil and they would make it right. Then ttoday they said I can only get the fries made again. I won't be going back to this place. They said it's not our fault about the chicken it because we used new oil.
My friend and I came in just wanting a quick bite. We ate fast, paid at the counter, and were about to head out. As we were walking out, a staff member chased us to the door and demanded to know why we didn’t leave a tip. We were completely caught off guard. We weren’t rude, we didn’t take up space for long, and we paid for our food like any normal customer. We were forced to walk back to the counter and leave a tip — not because we wanted to, but because the pressure and embarrassment were so intense. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. Tipping is optional, not mandatory
