Solid food and peeps. Had some pizza, a meatball parm, and rigatoni pomodoro. All very good. The sauce on the rigatoni was especially good. The guys behind the counter were not bubbly but very nice. Added bonus that it's across street from The Lemon Ice King. A nice treat to add to your waddle home.

After NYSCI, my son was craving pizza so we stopped by Corona pizza for the first time. We fell in Love with their pizza. Delicious tomato sauce with perfect layers of mozzarella cheese topped on a crispy crust that's not too thin nor too thick. Yum! Decided to order from them too.

The food is so good they take about 30 minutes witch is not that bad it's a long time but it's worth it

Freshly prepared food. We ordered Fried Calamari with Shrimp Combo and Chicken roll with a regular slice. Authentic, deliciously prepared.

This is my favorite get-a-slice pizza place. I can't speak to delivery or any of the real dishes but I've had all kinds of slices and stuffed rolls and calzones etc. and they're the best I've ever had. The "Combination" slice is my favorite but it's so hard to choose because the Sicilian/square slices and white slices are also terrific. I frequently go out of my way to stop in at Corona Pizza rather than a closer spot, it's that good. There's plenty of seating and a bathroom although it can get very crowded around lunch time or right after the local schools let out for the day. There's street seating across the street near the bocci court if you want to sit outdoors on a nice day. Parking is easy on the side streets during weekdays – as long as you're willing to walk a block or two from your car – however it's all but impossible nights and weekends. Corona Pizza is right across the street from the Lemon Ice King of Corona so if you feel the need for something sweet afterward you're in the right neighborhood.

After visiting the zoo, I googled pizza restaurant hoping to find a nearby spot for slices of pizza. Corona Pizza was easy to find and luckily I was able to park next to it. We got there around 2pm-ish. It was a decent size restaurant and ordered a slice of cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza and pepperoni &mushroom pizza. And an order of 4 garlic rolls for $2. The pizza slices were large and came out fast and hot. We added grated parmesan cheese to everything. The garlic rolls were a bit dry for my liking. Overall it was affordable and fast and easy.

While we certainly didn't try every place in New York, Corona was some of the best we had. The staff we're friendly and helpful. They knew we were looking for great New York pizza, and we feel they didn't disappoint. We tried a slice of nearly everything they had.

It's your typical local corner pizza joint. Busy with kids from the nearby school and locals. The pizza is good; like stated, it's your typical pizza. Two specialty slices and a can of Pepsi plus tax cost $9.50.

After ordering take away for the last few weeks (no kitchen access) - FINALLY found a place where the food was fresh AND directions were followed!!! Gave them 4 stars because when you order a cheeseburger you actually want to SEE some cheese but the beef was top quality.

Good pizza and good wings. Good menu selection and reasonable prices. The service is good by pleasant employees. Clean place, my only disappointment is is on several occasions after a guest leaves it takes too long for someone to clean the table for the next guest.

Good pizza and great service! The pizza was average NY style pizza - good, but not a place you go out of your way for. We tried both the regular and Sicilian and both were good, depending on your mood. It was hot and tasty and a great lunch in the park.

Seems like the quality of the food has gone down. Had a couple of slices and the pizza is just doughy, floppy and thin. Pizza used to be made crisp with some bite and texture.

Totally average. Maybe slightly below. Their hero's are like a 5 year old made them, slap this, that, and the other on it, shove it on the oven for a bit. Serve. Tasteless rubbery stuff. And they have a list on their windows for gyros and other things. Good luck with that. No gyros, no wings, or burgers. Fettuccini Alfredo was overwhelmed with sauce and cheese. Also average. If this is the best in the neighborhood, yikes.

Usually really good pizza, and I’m a regular customer. BUT this one girl who works there clearly has no relationships to the business and could care less about losing sales. I called to make a delivery order and tired to pay with card and she said she wasn’t taking card right now and when I mentioned that I had previously paid with card she said that it was just too much work for her to walk over to the machine right now and she was busy with other things. When I said ok then I would have to cancel my order she said okay and hung up with not one ounce of care. If I was the owner I clearly would be upset with losing sales.

Two slices to go. Doughy. Thick amount of cheese. Nice crust. Folds easy. Hard to find parking. Had to stay in car bae run out. 2 slices more than enough for both of us. Could have been hotter. Kinda cold cheese had no pull. Basic slice on the low preparation end.

After reading reviews I expected more and BETTER pizza. The GOOD: If you are in a pinch and need to grab a slice it's fine for that. THE SO-SO: BUT dont come thinking it's a pizza you have to try. Thats crazy....It's definitely not great pizza. Sauce and cheese are low quality...so the result is lower end with very underwhelming dough. Owner/manager doesnt seem happy.

As a disclaimer, we didn’t try the pizza so our review doesn’t cover that staple. We did try stuffed shells, penne vodka and the cheese steak. The pasta dishes were underwhelming and bordering on terrible. The stuffed shells were cold, undercooked, plain and the cheese had no taste. The penne vodka sauce seemed like they tried to lighten the color of a marinara sauce. To be fair they didn’t call it a philly cheese steak only a cheese steak, but there were no peppers or onions or any of the necessary “grease” found on a traditional cheese steak. The lukewarm meat was covered with two slices of unmelted American cheese. It was disappointing. If we go back to try the pizza, I might add stars and revise the review. If you can’t make what you list on the menu in an appetizing way, then you should remove it from the menu.

I ordered a delivery of 2 pies one 14" and one 18" and garlic knots a beef patty and a chicken parm...the chicken parm was good..but then I opened the 18" pepporoni pie and it was very moist ...the pie wasn't even hot it was a little cold..and the slices were all from different pies...the beef patty was to hard...the garlic knots not only cold but hard as well...and when we recently opened the pizza box (18") the slices ere all over the place...bad pizzeria..garbage in total don't order from here..

They send my food and pizza box is crushed cheese all on top of the box no problem. I try to call them back for 5 mins they just pick up and hang up. Then they finally answer dont say anything and just leave the phone on for 5 mins. I call back female answers I say can you finally help she says we're busy I say you can say that instead on picking up and just putting phone on the side for 5 mins. She says don't need your attitude. I said fine so you won't get paid for what I ordered. She said it's OK with me...my family and I have been ordering from this pizzeria at least once a week for over 20 years... but as of today you lost a customer. Because if you don't know how to talk to a customer you should not be in a job where you have to deal with customers.

Check your pizza 1st folks! Ordered a large with 2 toppings and got a regular cheese pizza instead.

My family and I always buy extra large barbecue pizza from Corona Pizza to help local establishments. This afternoon we called and ordered the same pizza as always, extra large Barbecue pie and a lady who answered us sent the large size. We right away saw the mistake and called to make the exchange. The lady said she would send us 4 pieces for $5. We paid $19 + $4 for a tip. Whenever we ask for extra large, we pay less than $22. The mistake was that lady and we the consumers are the ones who pay for the employees mistake. Not ordering anymore from them. Disrespectful because I have 8 kids starving and we have to order from another place and spend more money.

First if I can give a zero I would, I always order the boneless wings with the mozzarella sticks from them and they never get the order right, the wings are never boneless and rarely hot and they sent me french fries when they charged me extra for the mozzarella sticks, second they have people that can't communicate with the customers because of a language barrier and third they tell you that they did not charge you for something knowing that they did like I don't know how to count! never ordering from there again.

So disappointed...While I'm driving from upstate to get a tub of "The lemon Ice King of Corona" l. I was so hungry and was craving for Chicken Bacon Ranch slices. Those bacon have so many fat chewy pieces and chicken cutlets were dry. The pizza dough tastes like a couple of days old. I had to throw it out and hopefully birds or deer eat them.

Worst customer service. The guy that takes order doesn’t know how to take orders sent something I didn’t order called to notify, the kids had already ate half of it and he refused to send another one. Originally order a chicken Phillycheese steak hero was send chicken with cheese on a hero. I had to open the kids sandwich to notice that there was no mushrooms or onions. Horrible ! Asked to speak to the manager or bosses and tells me they are on vacation.

Horrible experience. Ordered a pizza thru grub hub at 830pm. By 940pm I called and they told me it was on the way. By 1020pm it still hadn't arrived so I called again and they tell me that they were closed and there was nothing they could do. Had to contact grub hub to get my money back. Very disappointed. The person on the phone had no empathy, didn't even apologize for their mistake.

I tried placing a delivery order over the phone, but the guy who answered spoke zero English. I asked if there was someone else there I could speak to, but apparently there wasn’t.

Worst service or pizza imaginable, save your time the disappointment they get one star just for existing. Pizza taste like raw dough and there attention to detail is that of a 5 year old with playdoe. Salty & tasteless.

It was a nice Thursday evening on Veterans Day , so we decided to order pizza from this place , It took 40 minutes to get here, the cheese was not even on the pizza, it was sliding off the pizza , like 60% of the cheese slid of the pizza , the seasoning was terrible , DO NOT ORDER / BUY FROM THIS PLACE This is a Italian restaurant? Pfft

The prices for everything is ridiculous. Today I bought a vegetable slice of pizza for $3.50. It was a thin slice of dough with a hard crust. The lady at the counter was too busy counting the wads of cash at eye-level for her to notice me standing there waiting for an order. Yesterday, the price of a slice of vegetable pizza was $3.25. Was she scamming me because the sign of the prices didn't change one bit? $0.25 extra is actually a lot for a thin slice of pizza.

The pizza is super flimsy, the penne a la vodka is bland and not-creamy, the mozzarella sticks are cold. I wanted to like this place so much! Only nice thing about here are the pizza guys/cashiers. Friendly. But I went to have decent pizza. FAILED.

Didn’t have a good experience here. I had two orders of wings and didn’t receive any sauce with either. Also I had specifically given more of a tip because I knew my elevator was broken but the delivery driver wouldn’t come up. I tried explaining to him that I had tipped extra so he would come up, but he didn’t understand English. The cheese fries were not good at all. The wings weren’t that bad but I’ve never had someone delivery wings without sauce before. There are way better places in the area!

Grew up in this neighborhood & today, I stopped by this spot since I took the day off to walk around & dealt with this unpleasant situation. that was very To start off, nobody there speaks English & by that being said, you will be ignored as I stood by the register and a short guy ignored customers along with an old man making the pizza with a Mets hat kept smiling for no reason while making dough & talking. I felt that purposely, the guy only served his native folk since he was overpassing certain people. I told him if I’m invisible since he kept ignoring me and a Senior man who also wondered what’s going on. As for the Pizza, attached is an image of a cold, dry uncooked edge with flour. When he said it was done, he placed it on the counter on a plate & I asked if it was mine the asked for a bag since it was going out. However, a great choice for Italian Pizza near Flushing Meadows with delicious pizza and great service plus sit down is a plus Vinny’s Pizza 97th Street 57th Ave Corona & Singhas Pizza on 108th Street in Corona (serves beer) both only 15 minutes from Shea Stadium. WARNING**** this is my first ever review and all the conversations I had with the staff were nice and calm but this experience is cruel and unacceptable. I have known this area in Corona for such a long time and the environment is friendly with so many kids and families and this pizzeria knows that very much. Never had a pizzeria experience where I ordered Buffalo wings and to receive them PLAIN! No flavor, no sauce and RAW! I called them and told them about it and told me they will give me a new order of Buffalo wings. When I received them, I saw the extra sauce all over the wings so I thought perfect and I cut one open with a butter knife and it was fully cooked so again, perfect. However, when taking a bite, it was NOT Buffalo sauce, it was BEYOND the spice level that I never in my life have experienced when it came to Buffalo sauce. I called them and no answer!!!!! They play around with customers HEALTH!!! And that is CRUEL!!!!! I advise you to please DO NOT come to this pizzeria if you want RAW food. 0 stars is what they deserve! So messed up!

Food is absolutely disgusting & bland. Pizza is dry. Service is absolutely horrible & disorganized. I made an order of pasta Alfredo along with 2 pizzas. I paid with card they didn’t call up until an hour later to re ask me for card info that they took down wrong. Whole time I was waiting for my order. Then they took about another hour to bring me the food Which was dry & cold & just plain up disgusting. I’m super upset that I waited this long and paid the amount that I paid for food that was nasty & not tasteful what so ever. The Buffalo pizza didn’t even carry sauce ontop just straight dry and plane chicken. You could tell order was sitting there for a long time. Super ridiculous.

I am absolutely disappointed in Corona Pizza today! I have ordered from you for several years already and my go to order is usually chicken wings with garlic knots. I spoke to the guy on the phone just now and he told me that he was gonna charge me extra for the little container sauce on the side. Mind you, last time they completely messed up my order and forgot to give the sauce when I clearly said what sauce I wanted. This time, I was told they are gonna charge me $1.50 for little container suicidal sauce when I asked for the sauce to be on side. The delivery person is usually late and the wings gets soggy— that is why I asked for a sauce on the side. Later on, when I said I was a regular customer and never been charged for asking the little sauce on side, he said we’re out of the suicidal sauce and it isn’t there anymore! When I asked if I can speak to someone in charge— I was told person in charge is out of country. Please talk to your employees and fix your customer service as I am very dissatisfied.

I ordered 4 large pizzas from Corona Pizza for my kid’s birthday party. I went in a day earlier and paid in full. First of all, the price is $4 more for each pie since May and honestly, if I knew a pie is $20, I would’ve ordered from Nick’s pizza but I was there and didn’t have time to go to another place. Second, for that price I expect a better service. It’s 1pm on the day of the party and the pizza delivery doesn’t show up. I call in and they FORGOT my order. I am annoyed but I say okay things happen. when can you get here? The guy on the phone says in 20 minutes. I call back again at 1:30. No one picks up the phone for a few minutes and when he finally picks up, he leaves me on hold for another few minutes. He can’t communicate well and I’m in limbo if my order is arriving or not. Long story short, my pizzas are delivered with 45 minutes delay and 5 families had to leave by then. Not only my guests left without having lunch, I’m left with an extra/ unused large pie and I was stressed out in my party. Never again! I won’t order from here and won’t recommend it to anyone for party deliveries. I need a reliable business. Pizza wasn’t bad. I give 8.5 out of 10.
