I like some of the food here specifically, I usually order delivery, although I have eaten in. I like their pernil, mangu, bake chicken is ok, I've eaten their steak, pork chops, and fried fillet. Good portions for the price, lunch specials comes with rice and beans and salad. As always they have good food but once in a blue seasonings may not be right, food can be a little salty for my taste, but the price is right, so it's my go to place for take out or delivery. Service ok.

The Food: pretty good. Say 3-4 stars. The Atmosphere: kind of cold and sparce. Say 2 stars. The Neighborhood: kind of rough. Say 2 stars. The Price: 4 stars. The Value: About 4 stars. The bathroom was clean: 4 stars. I am rounding to about 3 overall, since it's authentic and does good volume. But it's not a dining experience. It's a place to get a meal, get some take out, or cater your party. There are a lot of other places around and they may be a little nice for dining. It seems to do a lot of take out. You're not going to bring a date here unless you want her to break up with you or she's a really good sport. Cash only. On a kind of busy street and parking can require a walk back. That can be an issue. --- PS, Any suggestions for really good/authentic food with some atmosphere on the cheap? I'm open to trying lots of places anywhere.

Only had food here one time and will never have it again because it gave me food poisoning. I was desperate because I lost my lunch earlier in the day and really wanted something hardy. Went in there, waited about 5mins to be helped, after several attempts to talk to the two ladies at the front. I could kinda look into the kitchen and it looked dirty, but I tried to pay it no mind, I was desperate and buying lunch at 5:45pm. The food itself didn’t have good taste, but it was edible and for the portion seemed like a great deal. About 15mins after eating, my stomach began hurting badly. 15mins after that, I was emptying my stomach in the bathroom. This lasted 3 days. I had only had a cup of coffee and a banana earlier that day so there was no other thing it could be. Don’t eat here, the food isn’t good and the kitchen is def dirty. Don’t get food poisoning.

The food was salty and had a weird texture. I haven't ordered from there in a while so for nostalgias sake, I did, and it was a mistake -- it made me throw up. Get a new chef.

Just a simple UBER order with a spoiled rancid moldy cake. Clearly a mismanagement of food keeping standards and a lack of care when it comes to serving food

I've ordered from this place over a dozen times on Uber Eats. Today they sent spoiled beef empanadas. My husband and I's stomachs are killing us. Running to the bathroom! This is absolutely TERRIBLE!

*Please Read* We used to like this place back then, we were in the area and decided it was a good idea to go back and enjoy their food, BIG MISTAKE! We all got food poising, can’t stop using the toilet and feel so weak after all the diarrhea. I’m telling you, this used to be good food. Don’t spend your money here, they aren’t expensive but it’s not worth your health. Please do better staff or owner. It’s serious.

I ordered for delivery mangu and this is what I got lumps of plantain and super wet has a nasty pork taste it doesnt even taste like plantains.. throwing it right in the trash last time ill order from here so disappointed

Horrible! Went there with my buddies and we ordered tripe (mondongo), which we were so excited to eat btw, and it smelled like I was served a plate of sh**. When I bring it up to the "server", she tells me "it's tripe what do you expect". What I expect is for them to clean it good enough so that it doesn't smell like a plate of sh** when you serve it to me. If they aren't caring enough to clean that, then they really must not clean anything good. Horrible customer service!! They don't know a thing about customer service! Once again HORRIBLE!!!

The worst spot to eat I order a tuna salad and I had two cockroaches, and when i called them they cursed me out and told me never to call them again. the delivery is bad theyre always asking you for tip and when you don't get they curse you out, always trying to extra money, the desserts are spolied, I will not tell people to eat in this place you will get sick. And everyone that makes a review is family members or friends they trying to give their restaurant a good review and dont ever get the sweet plantains cause they give you okd ones ajd if you ask for fresh obes they get mad
