Food was great got the pork chops Saturday special with okra and mash potatoes. Could of been a bigger portion. I would say IHOP or Dennis has better french toast and more food quantity. It was my friends first visit to a Cracker Barrel Restaurant. She was amazed at the merchandise and blown away at the food. We had turkey and dressing and it was fabulous! Visited my sister in corpus we had breakfast at the location in Corpus. I had the grandma breakfast, which had two eggs, I selected turkey sausage and hash brown casserole, which was delicious. Came with the side a French toast, which I tasted but didn’t eat. Was too soggy and looked nothing like their menu pic. We Got some shopping done or waited to be called not too long. I was there about a week ago with my family and even though it took a little while to recieve our food, we didn't mind the wait. Our waitress/server was a young lady named Jonah (not sure if I spelled it correctly) and she was so sweet and attentive to us. She made us laugh and made the overall experience worth the while. We had the friendliest server last night for dinner. Happy, smiling, and proficient. The food was amazing. We finally made it to Cracker Barrel on a Saturday for the Saturday Ribs special. I’ve been wanting to try that for a while now. They were amazing and plentiful. I had to get a to go box. The only criticism I have about this particular location was that the floor was slippery like someone had mopped it with bacon grease. Had to walk like a penguin to get to and from our table.

The food was great, however, per the promotional email you sent me the plate consisted of eggs, bacon or sausage, hashbrowns, biscuit and fried apples. I didn't realize till after I left that I didn't get the fried apples so it was disappointing. I love those fried apples. Given the increase of the cost of almost everything, it'll likely be a few months before I return. Had this not occurred I'd be giving you 5 stars.

I love any and every Cracker Barrel, but I will say that the sausage could be of better quality. They never disappoint with their walnut pancakes or customer service. 10/10

This is a good Cracker Barrel location. The service is always great and the food is good. We usually don’t have a long wait except the occasional peak time. I love that it’s a home cooked feel with lots of choices, including breakfast. I enjoy the grilled chicken salad, the fish, and pancakes with different syrups.

Had chicken and dumplings with a side of macaroni and cheese and a side of turnip greens. My chicken and dumplings were warm, not hot , same with my macaroni and cheese , but we had a very nice server, and she brought it back to me piping hot. It was also the first time any server pointed out the regular plate was only a little bit more money than the lunch special , and you got 2 sides ,not 1 and more chicken and dumplings, I did not EAT more than what would have been on the lunch portion , but for a little more money , I had plenty of leftover 's to take home. I appreciate it when a server goes out of their way to help when ordering, especially if I am new to the restaurant ( not here) and can share something or save money.

Whim for lunch today. I had the chicken fried chicken with three sides. My sides were dumplings, mashed potatoes and the greens. The dumplings are always fantastic and are my wife’s and my favorite dish in the restaurant. The mashed potatoes were good and I love the greens. The chicken fried chicken was two large portions of fried chicken, I could only finish about half and I took the other half home. It is really a nice large portion. The service is pretty good but they seem to always be crazy busy in there and if you want your waitress, it can be a little bit of a challenge to get her attention.

This location never has enough cooks. It's always a long wait for food. Then our food is never made right. Presentation is sloppy as well like they just threw the food on plate. They always are running out of food as well. Super bummed cause I keep going to this location cause we have no other. I like to shop for jewelry.

We had the fish fry on Friday. Not how it looks in the pics. Pieces were small and not very well breaded. Looked like they were just tossed into the container. The hash brown casserole had too much onion. Meal was ok. Nothing to brag about.

Everything was great except the state of the restroom. Jeremy was wonderful and accommodating for myself and my husband with our travel trailer. He signed me up for a reward account and I got a free app so that was awesome. And the lady with the tattoos was our server and she was great. Overall, great experience. It was just the condition of the toilet that was less than desirable. That's all.

The food was good. Service was good. My complaint is they don't provide napkins, so they bring you food, and you have to ask multiple times to finally get something to wipe your mouth with. I want to love our Cracker Barrel location. The food is so very good when it’s made correctly and comes out hot! But the last 4 times I have come to this location in Corpus they have forgotten a side on my husband plate, even with mentioning the previous issues. We had not been in a while and decided to give the establishment another chance but today there was a mishap with our ticket of food being submitted properly which resulted in us waiting over an hour for our plates. Management was apologetic once we pointed out that tables who were sat 30 mins after us had already received their meals. They gave us a complimentary appetizer and we did not have to pay the bill. But more than anything I just wanted to go to this restaurant and have one experience where nothing went wrong.

Cracker Barrel on SPID has the cozy, down-home vibe you'd expect-complete with rocking chairs out front and a fun country store to browse while you wait. The staff was friendly, and the environment felt welcoming. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, even though the restaurant wasn't overly busy. It took quite a while just to get our drinks, and the food followed much later. When it did arrive, it was lukewarm and underwhelming-not quite the hearty Southern comfort I've had at other locations. It's not a bad spot if you're not in a rush, but don't expect anything exceptional from the kitchen. Decent for the ambiance, but the food and pace need some attention

We were seated immediately and ordered waters. Quite awhile passed before our waters came, we even ordered are food before the waters came. Our server was kind and for how busy it was I thought she did great. We cannot remember her name but she wore glasses, we’re there on Sunday around 1:30 sat towards the front. She managed her section fairly well as far as we could tell. We watched another server drop a knife, look at it and never come back for it; she even proceeded to step over it. Another server eventually came for it. We ordered the lunch special of Country Fried Pork Chops and then a hand breaded tenders. The special was fantastic according to my boyfriend. The tenders were subpar and I didn’t necessarily like the fact that my Mac n cheese was on the plate. Childish I know, but it would’ve been nice and easier to scoop out of a bowl. Update a year later, 8/1/2024, previously 4 stars. I don’t know if there’s different management, chefs, or what, but this location has seriously declined. All of my food was cold except for the eggs (fairly warm) and I choked down the cold bacon. For having two servers, one that was training, you’d have the thought the service would be faster.

Our food took a bit and then was very lukewarm warm when it arrived. Ended up cold half way through. Restroom was dirty when we arrived and we mentioned they needed service. After breakfast went back to the restroom and they still had not been touched. Let them know again but who knows if they went in and cleaned them. We noticed the rack with Christian music has been removed and their piped in music choice is different now.

Said this is normal. Food tastes great and fresh. Another customer stated it took 15 min to get pancakes, bacon, and biscuits.

Service was slow. Food was not brought out at same time. I like to eat when all my meals are together. The Lemon Pepper Grilled Rainbow Trout was okay, nothing special. The homestyle fries were thin. The Broccoli was on point. The mash potatoes were not that great. The white gravy was weird tasting. Had to ask for drinks to be refilled. Wasn't offered any condiments, like ketchup and A-1 sauce. Basic food, wouldn't go again if it was my choice.

I don’t think I will be going back anymore. Eight out of ten restaurants give you some type of bread or chips before you eat but Cracker Barrel says they have lost money on biscuits being given out as a precursor to your meal. Plenty of other restaurants stay afloat so what’s really going on Cracker Barrel? Not to mention, when we finally got our bread one of the biscuits was small and hard. And we didn’t even get offered a jam… I guess they’re loosing money on jam too. My daughter fries were over cooked and not a single table in the vicinity had the golf tee game. Why companies feel the need to change a business model that isn’t broke is beyond me. I would love them to go back to their old ways but unfortunately I think Cracker Barrel is ruined 🤦‍♂️

The Cracker Barrel Restaurant is a nice, family friendly environment. Our server was attentive and provided service with a smile. The main issue was that much of my meal was luke-warm at best. The hamburger steak was warmer than the veggies, which made it more tolerable. The veggies were definitely hard to eat and uninspiring given the temperature - they had definitely been sitting out for a while. My step-father ordered the Rainbow Trout, and he had similar complaints about the temperature of his meal, including the fish.

I use to order from here quite often, but then there was something always wrong with my order. Decided to try again this morning as I loved the strawberry French toast bake and saw it was back. They would always forget the strawberry sauce when I would order it last season (which is the topping not an additional request). I was once again disappointed when I didn’t get the strawberry syrup. It’s like dry pancakes with no syrup. This is obviously only a problem because I got delivery and can’t get the item I am missing, but it is frustrating when it’s a repetitive problem.

Waited 20 minutes after being seated to get service. Ordered coffee and it wasn't very hot more like luke warm. Then finally got to order food. Then when we got it finally after 35 minutes of waiting for it. It wasn't very hot. My husbands eggs were cold and he got bacon instead of the sausage he ordered. Even the refill on coffee wasn't hot. No one ever asked us how our meal was. I think we know why. I don't recommend. I usually love cracker barrel. Just not this one.

I want to share my thoughts on a recent dining experience that had both its highlights and some challenges. First and foremost, the food was absolutely delicious—fresh and served hot, which I really appreciated. However, the service we received didn't quite match the quality of the meals, and it was a bit disappointing. I found myself needing to ask multiple times for drink refills, which felt frustrating, especially when I could sense my server wasn’t really engaged. It was tough for my daughter, who is just eight and really friendly. She made a point to thank the server for everything, but sadly, she didn’t receive much response. I could see how that affected her experience. The wait for our food also stood out; it took nearly an hour for our meals to arrive, while a larger party at the table next to us was served much sooner. I understand that busy times can complicate things, but it did create a feeling of inequity in service. Additionally, there was some confusion regarding the biscuits and cornbread that were supposed to come with our dishes. The server mentioned there would be extra charges, which surprised me since I thought those sides were included. It can be really confusing when expectations don’t align with what’s communicated. Overall, while I truly enjoyed the food, the service aspects left a lot to be desired. I hope sharing this helps convey how important service is in creating an enjoyable dining experience for everyone. P.S. DON'T USE THE RESTROOMS. VERY DIRTY AND NO TOILET PAPER.

Overall, my family loves Cracker Barrel. We are from Kansas, traveling to C.C with our Mexico Family. First time visiting the area. Our server was engaging for the most part. Gave us our biscuits, no corn bread. Later after our food was brought out, since it was late they stopped making corn bread. We didn't know. However, took a long while for the food to even come out. The server came and explained there has been a bigger table taking up time. As a fellow server myself, I understand the delicate timing of ticket placement is, however it is crucial to notify the table before that happens, not 35 mins after we already placed the order. Food was great. Missed our fried okra which wasn't as great. We showed up at 8 so I didn't understand the timing of everything.

In my take out order, the pancakes were warm and I was not given syrup for them either.

Went on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. My waiter was very rude, asked him a question about the menu and rudely said he didn't know he only works evenings I had to actually tell him to calm down or call the manager. Ordered a breakfast plate with bacon but he came back and told me the only protein available with that plate was catfish. I pointed out on the menu that a protein bacon or ham or sausage was what came with the plate. Once again he rudely said I don't know that is what the computer says when I place the order. I wound up ordering a different plate due to his being mad he had to be working. Then the food came and he was actually throwing them on the table. I kept my calm and proceeded with my meal which was cold my French toast was burnt. Worst experience I have had a t Cracker Barrel. I do not complain at restaurants due to them Cooking my food and fear of them altering my food I just never return. And I will not return to this Cracker Barrel.

Ordered take out, it was 45 minutes late. Hostess checked on in at 20 minutes and said it would be out shortly. At 40 minutes I spoke with the manager and he delivered it in 5 minutes. The food was well cooked but it was all cold. Indicating that it was likely sitting for a while. The salads both consisted of lettuce centers rough cut, almost no green leafs. There are better ways to spend $89

My wife and I had a gift card to Cracker Barrel, so we finally went. The ambience and service were very good, but the food was just okay. The Chicken Fried Steak was a bit more than okay, but the killer was the cold, congealed creamed gravy which was lumpy and bland. My wife had the meatloaf, and while the meat was okay, her green beans were unremarkable and she had the same issue with the gravy on her mashed potatos.

This was probably the worst Cracker Barrel I have been too. 😔 We were seated fast. There was a lot of empty tables. Our food took forever though. Half of it was cold. The strips were way overcooked. It took forever to get our cornbread and biscuits too. When we asked for jelly, it took another 15 minutes. We will probably not be going back to this location. The people at the store part of the restaurant were nice though.

Food was good and tasted average but biscuits and corn bread were burnt and cold. Our server jay was extremely annoying. We waited 15 minutes after telling her our order before she told us they didn’t have what we wanted, but later a manager came up and told us they did have it. I guess we were her last table so instead of letting us enjoy our meal after waiting a good 25 minutes she immediately comes back after dropping off the food gave us the check and to-go boxes. 5 minutes into eating she came back and was trying to take away our food. This is extremely poor service and I hope she either gets better training or finds a job that suits her better.

The kitchen was completely on the struggle bus!! EVERYTHING was cold. How do you make chicken and dumplings and have warm (not hot) dumplings with chicken that is still cold?? French toast and eggs were cold. Side salad before the meal? Nope. Poor wait staff were being beaten up on by the customers because of kitchen issues.

The past 2 visits we to cracker barrel have been disappointing. We checked in on line and were seated quickly. They got our drinks and order real quick as well. Now it was not extremely busy as we have been there where is packed and busy. Both times it took extremely long time to get our food and half of it was cold. We didn't get any biscuits and when we got some one a couple of them and that's all. We used to get a basket of biscuits to eat before our meal and with our meal. Now we dont get any offered to us. We dont like to complain to them but this last time they were more focused on taking selfie pics with someone that looked like they were visiting or just woke up and went to talk to them. Even the floor manager was taking pics and talking away. We loved to go to this restaurant food used to be great. We will try one more time as we love breakfast time. I order from here every weekend and today my steak was rare and bloody. I ask for the manager and he took the plate back to re cook the same steak. He brings it out back to me super well done. I could not eat this anymore. Taste was terrible. The eggs were like powered eggs. The waitress that served me was very nice and I had no issues with her. The man manager..... idk. Would you remake a steak for your client or would you have the cooks throw your already messed up steak back on the grill. I would have hoped for a fresh steak that was cooked properly?

I have waited at my table 24 minutes when I asked about my food for one person. It took her 9 minutes to come back to me to let me know it will be about 5 to 8 minutes. Once I received the 2 pancakes, 2 eggs over easy and meat it was cold. This shows how cold the food was the butter would not even melt.

There was one waiter for 9 tables in our designated area. Food wasn't even warm. Ordered fried chicken tenders and they should've been hot out of the frying oil. The gravy and biscuits were cold. Very disappointed! One of my eggs was popped, and there was a thick layer on the cold grits that develops when served and remains uncovered. It was horrible!!!! There were food stains on the window shades that look like they have never been wiped down. One of the worst restaurant experiences I have encountered!!!

Horrible place to go on a Sunday during lunch! Waited 40 mins, I get they were extremely busy, but customers should at least get an “apology” and ask if at least the food was good. 👎🏼

Took over 45 minutes after they took my order to receive my food. I was not the only person that had extremely long weight. When I left I asked other people who have been there and they say that this is the worst one in the country.

Terrible experience due to Valerie! I was greeted with Disrespect and Unkindness! Valerie was rude and didn’t take my order for over 30 minutes! We arrived at 10:30AM on Friday August 8th. We waited 20 minutes to be sat. Once we sat down, it then took an hour for our food to be served to us! When I flagged down the manager told him I was really upset because we saw other ppl who orders similar plates as us getting their food and they arrived after us, he said he would check and never came back ..... He hid in the back! I have never had such a poor experience at a Cracker Barrel. There were egg shells in my son's eggs and they forgot the chocolate chips in his pancakes. We were starving after waiting an hour and 20 minutes and the manager was nowhere to be found.

Horrible Service, Rose was our server and was completely Rude from start till finish. never brought coffee, silverware, refills on my childrens drinks, refills on hot water tea. Had to be reminded and asked SEVERAL times for EVERYTHING!!! Food took 1hr and a half to get out and was completely cold . No jelly was brought out with the biscuits. No toast was brought out with meal. Never had such poor and pitiful service in my life.

Today was the first time I've had a bad meal at Cracker Barrell and it was horrible!! We got the Sunday special, Pot Roast. What we got was a small pot full of water, onions, celery, 2 carrots, 2 potato wedges, and 3 chunks of boiled beef! Zero flavor and, when I asked for a plate to dish it out of the water, it barely filled a bread plate. Fortunately, we ordered a couple of sides at 2.99 each. We even had to pay for the biscuits. And even those were disappointing, flattened and not flaky at all. Overall, $44 for 2 super bland, cheap boiled dinners. With so many other choices in Corpus, we won't be back.

Worst experience I have had in a few years at a restaurant. Waited for an hour and a half for awful food. Restaurant is not crowded. Fire the kitchen manager. Second time having this experience here. Don’t come here if you want to wither away in your seat and starve to death.

I'm giving this place 1 star for the filth! We visited this CB for the first time before heading to the airport. As soon as we walked in, my mom and I both noticed how dirty it felt and looked. Some CBs are super clean, and some look like they should be shut down for a week for a deep cleaning. This CB, I'm afraid, was the latter. The restroom smelled strongly of bleach, but it was far from clean. The gift shop and dining areas were nasty. Our waitress was perspiring so much that we were grossed out. I'm not sure why we stayed. My mom was given a dirty fork. None of the table lanterns were free from grease or water spots. All of the shades were stained. The biscuits were not hot. My mom's eggs were runny. Like I said, some CBs are clean and tidy; those are the locations we frequent. The whole experience here means we won't be visiting this location ever again.

Eggs were cold. Pancakes were cold and were not fresh. I couldn’t even cut them with a knife. The pancakes were my favorite at Cracker Barrel. We won’t be returning to CB. Sad the food is NOT what it used to be. ☹️

Worst experience ever. Waitress kept forgetting about us.. like even if they were short staffed everyone around us got biscuits and their food before us and I had to ask after 30 min. The food was horrible and the staff seemed so rude. Our eggs were suppose to be scrambled but they looked like they were making over easy and forgot halfway.. my mom refuses to come back and that’s because it took me convincing since she heard my dad had a bad time last week.. pancakes were so hard and my moms ham was over cooked and nasty.

By far the worst meal I’ve ever paid for. The carrots were so rubbery I couldn’t even cut them—felt like they bounced off the plate. The chicken was dry beyond belief, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp since breakfast. And my daughter’s soup? An ice-cold bowl of greasy disappointment. Not warm, not flavorful—just a slick mess. We came in hoping for comfort food and Southern hospitality. What we got was a plate of regret and a reminder to never come back.

We will not be eating here again, so many things were wrong people on both tables on the side of us kept sending their food back we got ours and it was either cold, not done or burnt

Very upsetting I’ve been wanting to eat here for a while. Went On Friday morning around 9 before Valentines. Waited for a goodwill to get seated and it even wasn’t that busy host saw me and did it come back to see me so I just decided to leave and the guy working inside the gift shop just said OK. Have a good day. Didn’t Some type of courtesy didn’t show any courtesy or apologizing. Sorry about the weight.

And then being told we have to sit on separate tables. I have kids under 10 how am I supposed to sit on separate tables.??? They kept jumping us. You all are so ridiculous! If I can give a 0 I would give a 0! Management suck here. You all suck here! I have a 2 year old hungry over here and you just kept skipping us. Horrible people.

Embarrassingly slow, and absolutely no excuse for substandard service. I literally fell asleep waiting for my order. Out of all the cracker barrels I've been to, this one was by far the slowest. I was seated and orderes at 7:55pm, didn't get any appetizers until nearly 8:16pm and was about to walk out until I got my entrees nearly 40 minutes after ordering right at 8:34pm. Service was so slow my child fell asleep waiting for the food. The only people I'm assuming are in charge of managing this establishment spent most of the time chatting with each other on the back - no concern for the clients. The food quality was abhorrent, the fries were cold, the cheese wasn't melted, the shrimp was overcooked, the meat loaf was not cooked all the way, the broccoli was half raw and inedible while the dumplings had no texture. The Mac and cheese / okra were actually decent. For the cost, subpar quality and the excessive wait times - you're better off going to the outback next door. At least they'll have your food out in 20 minutes. Embarrasingly slow / 10

We had dinner around 8pm one of last customers on April 15, 2025z. Ordered special if day pork chops. They were deeo fried heavy batter. Fried in old burned grease. I told waitress I didn’t want aby gravy on mashed potatoes. Yet pirk chops were civered in a horrible blend thick gravy. From atring pitent powder gravy eith heavy sakr sbd pepoer. The meat itsekf looked tender but tadte if gravy suckened me whete I couldn’t eat. Mashed potatoes har thick pieces of skin like they had blended baked leftover Irish potatoes and called it mashef potatoes. I git it to go. Asked what desserts trey had. One peach cobbler asked if it had lflaky crust or goey batter she sad flaky then brought it with scoop of ice cream top of flaky crust . She didn’t say it was alamode - I am lactose intolerant. Hadn’t been thete in few years or more they used to have excellent pork choos. Disappointed abd have stomach ache from 1/2 teaspoon of horrible gravy. Ruined my appetite at beginning. Gaviscon to tescue.

1/4/26 I ordered a carryout of Southern fryed chicken, green beans, and mash potatoes with brown gravy. It was the worst meal I have gotten from Cracker Barrel. The chicken was fried too hard the meat was tuff, I couldn't chew it. The beans tasted canny with no seasoning. The mashed potatoes had a small piece of dark plastic, and the gravy had no taste. I was very disappointed. Cracker Barrel in the past served good meals.

I ordered breakfast on the Favor app and when I received it everything was cold and undercooked pancakes look like they just tossed the pecans on top waste of money and time will not be ordering from them again or recommending them to anyone

My friend and I went yesterday at a non peak time to eat. We waited 45 minutes for our food and I had to inquire about our order. When it finally came there was confusion about if it was even our order. They put it on the table and then took it away from us. The eggs were not cooked to order and they were cold. It was the worse service I have ever had at CB. We refused our order and left with just our drinks. We had to go to another restaurant after more than an hour of hassle. I am very disappointed.

Haven't gotten our food yet, and we are already aggravated to the point of being almost ready to walk out. Waited the better part of an hour for a table, when half the dining room was empty, and stood there abd watched them ignore the dirty table they FINALLY cleaned, for 15 minutes befire they STARTED cleaning it,, then stood there anotger 10 minutes waiting to be seated afyer it was cleaned. We received no silverware until we requested it, then got only forks, my granddaughter had to go search for proper silverware packets. Asked for jelly for the biscuits, got two tiny jelly portions for 6 people to share. One of our party tried to order first Stella Artois, then Blue Moon, turns out they dont actually carry anything but budweiser and lite beer, and one never-before-heard-of IPA,but the waitress didn't know it, and had to keep coming back for him to order something else. It's like they WANT people to walk out. If its the absolute best food on the planet, I'll add one star.

Went to brunch Sunday morning, and I have to say ,I’ve never had such an awful experience at Cracker Barrel before. From the moment our appetizers came out, things just went downhill. The mimosa was terrible (how do you even mess up a mimosa?), the eggs I paid extra to have cheese on were overcooked, and the pancakes weren’t even fresh. Manager on the floor that morning was so miserable and made a face when trying to get her attention. Definitely not the kind of experience I expected from a place that usually does comfort food so well.

Sad to leave a well deserved one star review for any restaurant, much less a Cracker Barrell. Online check in enroute and with the hostess at entry resulted in our names being lost so we waited a goid while. Subsequent unfriendly service coupled with utterly flavorless food results in this one star review. I have waited tables & zero tipped without a second thought. Our shadows will not cross the doorway of this restaurant again. How one screws up breakfast this badly eludes me for a home cook, much less a chain restaurant that specializes in its delivery. I have been a loyal Cracker Barrell customer for decades and am utterly disgusted.

Gave this place a second try....ordered food took over an hour to get it. And then what we got wasn't even what I ordered and they never brought my husband his biscuits and gravy. Then got bill and wasn't even charged for the correct meals. I will never be going back. Waitress avoided us for an hour. Kept trying to get her attention and she would look away and walk away when we tried to get her attention.

We went to Cracker Barrel in Corpus Christi on November 8th, giving them a second chance after a terrible visit the month before. That was on us. This place has completely fallen apart, and the kitchen is a disaster. Let me be clear: the service was fine. Our waitress worked hard and did her job. But the food coming out of that kitchen is flat-out unacceptable. My daughter’s chicken strips were rubbery and overcooked. My other daughter’s fried chicken was dry and borderline inedible. My breakfast plate was an embarrassment—burnt bacon scraps thrown on the plate like they were cleaning out the pan, eggs cooked into a tough mess, and ham dried out beyond saving. And the worst part? This is the second time in a row it’s happened. Same issues, same careless execution. This isn’t a mistake—this is the standard now. Whoever is running that kitchen either doesn’t know what they’re doing or simply doesn’t care. And management clearly isn’t paying attention, because no restaurant should be comfortable sending out food this awful. Cracker Barrel used to be consistent. Now it feels like they’ve given up. Zero pride, zero quality control, zero effort. I’m not someone who complains, but I’m still irritated days later. That should tell you everything. If you’re planning to eat here, take my review seriously. Don’t throw your money at a place that has stopped caring about the food they serve and the customers who keep them in business. This is not worth your time, your money, or your patience.

Went to enjoy a meal with a friend and could hardly do so with all the screaming that was happening in the kitchen for 10-15 minutes. While I understand that workplace stress can arise, yelling at employees is not an appropriate or constructive way to communicate or manage. It negatively affects morale and makes it difficult for team members to feel safe and supported. I honestly feel bad for all the employees working there. That is no way a manager should speak to hard working employees that are doing the heavy lifting while you sit on your butt in the back and occasionally speak with a customer for a complaint. Our poor waitress seemed stressed having to help in other areas and still take care of everyone in our section. I understand mistakes happen but please tell the manager who was working 11/05/2025 around 11:15AM that it’s not that serious and you should never scream at your employees. They are human just like you and no one deserves to be spoken to in that manner. Girl, do better. Be better. Strive to be a better person not only for yourself but for your employees. They deserve your respect also.

I went for lunch to decompress a bit and get a bite to eat. Our waitress was kind but you could tell she was stressed and spread thin. We saw her helping in our section and also at the other end of the restaurant. The girl was trying her best with a smile. She was doing great. I ordered a breakfast plate and the onions tasted like they were fried in last week's grease. Completely ruined the flavor of my plate as they were added in. It was hard to even conversate as the restaurant was loud with it being a lunch hour. Louder than all the other noise someone was yelling, not speaking loudly, but yelling. Initially I though it was an upset patron, but quickly realized it was coming from the kitchen. It continued for about 10 - 15 minutes. You could see the wait staff coming out of the kitchen looking frazzled. I was mortified for them. The service industry is hard. Finding good help, also hard, but after sitting through an unnerving lunch I can't fathom how hard their lives must be to where they just tolerate this. Before paying we checked w the waittress to make sure she was ok. I asked if everyone in the kitchen was ok bc of all the yelling and she shook her head yes. I asked if the shouting was something that happened often and she almost look frightened to answer but nodded yes. At this point the unsavory meal and watered down "refreshed tea" was the least of my worries. The whole situation stunk. I doubt I'll be back. I want to spend my hard earned money where people are appreciated and coached correctly. What we experienced yesterday was definitely not it. If you're looking for work and see this, I promise you deserve better than this.

Ordered online through uber eats. Showed up to this sign and an employee telling me to “take care of it myself” before shutting the door and locking it with no further explanation. Maybe just order and drive somewhere else to not waste your time and in my case potentially money since Uber is saying that the merchant is the one who cancels orders when they are not able to be filled. It was just a very confusing situation where no explanation or solutions were offered.

Notoriously I’ve always been a huge fan of Cracker Barrel Corpus Christi. I’m here today and waited over an hour and a half just for our food. We got approached by our server only once during the waiting process. This is by far my worst experience I’ve had here at Cracker Barrel. The atmosphere was just crying babies the whole time which is kind of common for Cracker Barrel but I just feel like the wait time just for the Mommas Breakfast doesn’t add up. It’s not super busy so it just doesn’t make sense to me. Edit: we had gotten our food and then Nats had started flying around all over our food and onto me and my families cups.
