Tried out their wonderful lunch buffet and honestly, I left stuffed and happy. I loaded my plate with their salads, stir fried veggies and chicken varieties, fried rice, chow mein, etc—everything was hot, tasty, and super satisfying. The dessert section was the real treat though… I may or may not have gone back twice for sweets! It’s one of those places where you can try a bit of everything without breaking the bank. Definitely coming back when I’m in the mood to eat my heart out. Thanks Hibachi! You're awesome!

If you go to Corpus Christi, it is one of the best food place you can go.I it is not only Chinese food but you can find variety of food,salad,sweet and fruits. Best part is it is only $15.99 all you can eat,and delicius.

This is the BEST buffet we've experienced in a long time! We recently tried it out for the first time on a Sunday, and again today for lunch on a weekday. Awesome place! They even have wakame salad :-) They have both a sushi bar and an hibachi grill. The variety is outstanding, the quality high, and the prices reasonable. And the tables, floors, bathrooms, etc are clean. Definitely worth our drive from out of town. Delicious! Very pleasant experience. We will be back many times for sure!

Ooh my where to start, my husband and I travel often and 4 states for work and this is the best Oriental food we have found to eat at for a buffet along with having a great Hibachi Grill too. The food is awesome lots of flavor and many items to choose from and did I say I'm a very picky person when it comes to food, I can be very critical and especially with service. The service was very nice, tentative yet not overbearing like some servers can be. This place is definitely a great place to eat for Oriental food if you're ever in Corpus Christi

We ate here recently, and I found the food to be fresh and hot. Flavorful hot and sour soup, even Pozole... many sushi options, and one of the largest Asian Buffets I have seen across the country. Even fresh fruit and ice cream. I thought the price was very fair, even rather cheap for all that they offered. I would highly recommend this place.

They let me pre pay my meal, just in case I didn't have enough, lol. The food is to die for here. They have a Mongolian grill where you can customize your meal to your liking. Everyone is so friendly! I recommend everything!

So delicious, unbelievable selection, fresh, reasonably priced and great people. I can't remember the last time I found this much variety. The food was so fresh and underpriced. I had to go back the next day on my way out of town. Actually, we got 20 miles down the road and turned around and came back just to eat there again.

Traditional Japanese. Very reasonably priced. The miso soup is NOT vegetarian/vegan, it uses fish broth.

Definitely a good Chinese buffet, lots of options. Some things were a bit disappointing, like the General Tso's chicken which had sat in its sauce for too long, but there were enough choices that everyone found things they liked. The lost star was for dirty restrooms.

Good assortment of food for the price. Servers are friendly, but they kept asking us to hand us the dirty plates at the other end of the table, which is on an open end and not against a wall or anything. I usually don't complain about every little thing but I just that it was unnecessary for us to hand over our plates. She literally put her hand out to gesture "hand me those plates" as well as asking for them. Again, they were friendly so it wasn't because they were being rude, but I think it's part of their job to get the plates. I noticed my husband wiped his hand after he handed her some plates. We especially shouldn't have to get our hands dirty after cleaning them and getting ready to pay or having already paid. There were only 5 of us consisting of 3 adults and 2 young kids. Anyway, I suppose that's why we adjust the tip accordingly.

You can find a lot of tasty food. We didn’t really like the interior — there was a musty smell, not from the food, but it seemed like the carpet was old and the decor felt a bit gloomy. The service wasn’t very friendly, but the food was fresh and delicious.

I come to this restaurant every once a while and I tell you that their one of the restaurants in Corpus that have a huge variety of food. I like some of their Chinese style dishes like the sesame balls, mini vegetable steam buns, honey ham may not be Chinese but their broccoli with meat dishes is. I would need to say at times the service staff may not act well mannered or organized, once filling the trays of food. If you don’t like sitting in a atmosphere with a lot of people I will suggest you to think twice before going to a place like this because at lunch time the place can be packed. The foods not as good as it was a couple of years ago when I went a few times. The both noddle dishes which I loved are not the same. Don't taste that good anymore. Great buffet, had lot of food where after I couldn’t even walk, it has lot of varieties and very fresh, with low cost. They even had lot of desserts, ice cream bar and fruits section. Highly recommended.

Last night we went to get take out like we always do and we usually spend 30 to 49 bucks here. N w alive in Annaville. Well we drove to hibachi then all the way back home. N while eating dinner my husband found a dead German roach on the bottom of the stuffed shrimp. I called then n have pictures and video and they just want to give me a discount next time! lol Um u can keep that discount n roaches next time. We won’t go back anymore! We’re in complete disgust n pissed cause we always come n never had any problems till last night… screw hibachi

I like their hot hibachi section. i do NOT recommend adding beef to your hibachi as it is quite chewy. their soups are good, too, and available to-go at a reasonable price. all buffet items are available to-go, though i do NOT recommend it because they charge per pound; can be very pricey depending on what you choose. they also have menudo that is not at all spicy for those of us who can't consume spicy food. i usually order the soups to-go. for other items, eat there as it is more affordable that way.

This place has a wide variety of food. The dessert is lackluster and they make to much sushi at one time so it's not very fresh and kinda dried out.

I really don't think you'll find a better Chinese buffet in Corpus. Let me know if you do. Tons of options. There's sushi, maybe not the best sushi but it's an option. There's a jalapeno shrimp dish that I specifically come here for. Out of all the options my 4 year old picked out chicken nuggets, a rolled cake and cantaloupe. Eat all you want and pay the same amount as a trip to Whataburger for two people. Can't beat that. There are claw machines and coin machines for knick knacks for littles.

Buffet is always filled and never empty.. The wait staff are always attentive. It does get busy especially using lunch or dinner..but we never have to wait they always have space.. food is tasty and they have good selection of sushi and hibachi items as well.

I had driven past Hibachi Grill many times, thinking I should check it out. And I finally stopped in for lunch. I generally do not like buffet style restaurants, and Hibachi Grill reminded me why. The food quality and taste are lacking. If that does not matter to you and you are looking for a lot of food at a great price, Hibachi Grill is your place! I enjoyed the inviting lobby and decor.

Well greeted, cleaness, and served fast. Food is ok not great, some of it was cold and some too over cooked hard to bite, but overall good place and service, did leave with a full belly and only payed $35 plus 10 tip. Recommend it

The food was overall really nice, though some dishes looked a bit too heavy and greasy. Some of the larger cuts of meat (like the carve-yourself turkey) appeared undercooked, so I avoided those. I did try the creamy shrimp pasta, garlic bread, roast beef, ribs, chicken wings, salad, green beans, stuffed crab, and a slice of pizza. The ribs, garlic bread, roast beef, and salad were definite standouts. The ribs were sweet and flavorful, the garlic bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside with great garlic flavor, the roast beef was tender and delicious, and the salad was fresh and crisp. I also appreciated the huge cups of water, which meant I didn’t have to keep asking for refills. The price is decent for the variety offered. The only downside is that it gets extremely crowded and overwhelming, but despite that, the service was excellent.

Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet in Corpus Christi offers a solid variety of food, with a wide selection of entrees, desserts, and salads to choose from. The weekend dinner pricing is decent, around $18 before drinks, which feels reasonable for the amount of food available. However, the dining experience can be hit or miss depending on where you're seated. My recent visit placed me in the very last dining room, and unfortunately, the air conditioning seemed non-existent. Even with ceiling fans, the Texas heat, pushing 85 degrees or more, made for an uncomfortably warm meal. This significantly detracted from the overall enjoyment. While the food selection and price point are appealing, the lack of adequate cooling in certain areas is a significant drawback, especially in our climate. If you plan to visit, you might want to request a table closer to the main dining areas to avoid a similar experience.

It was ok, not the best but I was starving. The broccoli beef was a little sketchy, weird taste. I also had the noodles, spicy shrimp had some chicken mixed in with it as well The sushi was ok. I won't be in a rush to go back but that's just me.

Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet is quite the fancy name, and that's about the only thing that's really "fancy" here. Yes, they have a huge selection of buffet items, and ask patrons to wear a disposable glove when serving themselves. The quality of the items is barely three stars, however. Freshness and crispness suffer immensely. They should eliminate 30-50% of the items and focus on quality. Rotate items periodically throughout the month for variety instead of having everything so-so all the time. One adult buffet and a soda is priced at just about $20. Add tip and you're well over $20, per person - for blah food. You can get a really nice, fresh seafood dinner in Corpus for that price, with table service. I wouldn't call the staff rude, but I wouldn't call them friendly either. A little friendly greeting or thanks would go a long way. Hopefully this feedback and that of others can help them improve.

This is one of the worst buffets I’ve been to. Really surprised by the amount of people in the restaurant. It was super musty and humid in the back. The fish was NOT cooked all the way. I also got the beef and broccoli and me was so chewy. We used to eat here in the past off and on and always ended up sick. We gave it an another chance and will not be going back. None of the food is appealing. Only thing that was good was the service.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we sat down, the staff made us feel rushed, as if they couldn’t wait to get us out of there. It was uncomfortable and made it hard to enjoy the meal. Worse, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting—filthy floors, bad smell, and clearly not cleaned regularly. On top of that, we actually saw cockroaches, which is completely unacceptable for any restaurant. Cleanliness and basic hygiene should be a priority, and clearly, that’s not the case here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone until they seriously address these issues. There are plenty of other restaurants that care about their customers and keep a clean, safe environment.

But today I have to put my foot down, hopefully this review saves someone else from an awful nausea and churned stomach . The salt and pepper shrimp (the only thing I eat here) were awful. Literally decomposing. We informed the waiter, who upon smelling the food immediately went to get a lady. We had already served our plates and while waiting for her, my husband and son picked at their food. Honestly we had mostly lost our appetites. The waiter noticed this and even asked us if we really wanted to keep eating, we said 'no' and he left again. The woman finally arrived and immediately said that she would not do any discounts because we already had started our plates and drinks. I already felt like throwing up and wanted to get out of there. Her solution to making us sick was discounting one dinner and one drink. I preferred to avoid a scene and just payed $30 so I could get out of there. It's been hours and I still feel sick to my stomach. The worst part is that they didn't even remove the tray of shrimp from the buffet. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

Very disappointed food was cold and looked mushy it used too be good don't know what happened wasted $40 on valentine's day

Usually the food is decent and the service is good but we all literally got sick. My daughter threw up in the restaurant as we were leaving. Front hostess just rolled her eyes when it happened. I doubt we were the only people this week to get sick from here

This is by far the worst place I have ate at in Corpus Christi. The food was Luke warm, the flavor wasn't good either. I had a mac and cheese that was warm and had no flavor at all.It's sad when the dessert was only thing I actually liked. Only thing going for this place is that it is low cost, even though it still wasn't worth the price. I'd steer clear and go to Bamboo Garden that place is great.

The 4 star rating on this place comes from reviews years ago and from folks who currently don't know what a good buffet is. Even paying fifteen dollars a person is too much for how bad this place was. Food came in a variety of temperatures, none of which really fit whatever food it was. Cold, mushy sesame chicken, lumpy stuffed shrimp, strangely pasty cocktail sauce. The sushi there is definitely not to be trusted, as the fried sushi was soggy and cold. All of it must've been sitting out for awhile. My glass of water tasted like untreated tap water. I soon learned really to only trust foods that were obviously fried or very simple, like dumplings and the chicken satay. The only thing this place does is provide mountains of food, espousing the idea of quantity over quality. This was a stark reminder to check current reviews and not just the overall rating. Do not go here. There are actual places to eat nearby. Spare your tummy, your sense of taste, and your wallet the regret.

Normally they are good. Today, stay away from the stuffed crab,..its not cooked. Stuffed shrimp next to it is refrigerator cold. Sliced beef is just as bad, gristle. Spring rolls and sweet/sour chicken also not up to temp. If I was in Vegas I'm betting on medium case of food poisoning.

Trash food and service. Beef was so tough I couldn’t chew it and the waitress was harassing me, accusing me of feeding a kid even though it never happened. I innocently asked my bf’s daughter if she’d want to try a sesame ball and yes I understood after I was told that I can’t do that, but continuing to berate me and accuse me of feeding her when she didn’t even take a bite? Check the cameras and let your customers try to enjoy the food. The ice cream tasted old too. Save your time and money, anywhere is better than this place
