My measure of quality pizza comes in how well a pizzaria performs the basics. Afterall, it is not the topping that makes the bite. The sauce, the crust, the cheese or lack thereof. I ordered a medium, plain cheese pizza. No frills, no toppings. On my scale I'd give my first bite a 9.7/13. A high score by my measure! The crust held up, the ends werent too floppy. The cheese was of good quality, not too greasy, nor tough. The sauce wasn't too acidic, nor too sweet, a near perfect blend. Exactly what I was looking for. The crust was crunchy, with a soft interior, perfect for dipping if that's your thing. All of the ingredients melded together in an exceptional example of a well-made pie. It also reheated very well the next day! All in all I am left craving more. Well worth the buy.

Just went in, ordered a slice of garlic ricotta pizza. Probably one of the best slices of pizza I've ever had. Absolutely delicious this slice of pizza. I shall return for another slice of the garlic ricotta pizza.

Pros: the pizza is very good, particularly for the area, and the prices seem fair. Cons: Very limited menu compared to most pizzerias (literally just pizza, wings, salads and a couple sides) and I wasn't crazy about their garlic knots (last time I went they tasted to me like they used jarred garlic.) If you're looking to get good pizza, I'd say to give this place a try. If you're looking for anything much more than pizza or wings, you might have to try another place.

Best pizza around cortland by far! and the blue moon wings, the best! Only comment I could make is make the sauce and topping and cheese go closer to either edge with less crust, but dude! I’ll def buy another party pack from here and a chicken wing pizza!

We were looking for a restaurant off the highway and found this gem. Excellent pizza and the sweetest people. So sweet to our 3 kids. The kids loved their ny style pizza and the people! Highly recommend!

Ordered two large pizzas and 20 each of BBQ boneless and medium boneless total over $70.00. I was disappointed the pizza had little flavor and was greasy, the wings were dry and chewy. Thiswas my first experience with this place and was excited to try it after all the good reviews. Hope other had a better experience then mine and it was a just a bad night.

I stopped in late on Thanksgiving just before they closed. The guy behind the counter was very polite and made one absolutely delicious blue moon bbq pizza. The crust was amazing, the ingredients we re quality and fresh, absolutely this ranks as one of the best pizza places in America, and I've been to a lot of pizza places around this beautiful country of ours. You're absolutely going to enjoy eating here.

This is probably the best new York style pizza in this area. The crust isn't too thick or cakey. It's just right and has a nice crunch. They have a large variety of choices. I ordered a slice of the garlic tomato pizza. It's a white pizza with cheese and fresh tomatoes. I also ordered the feta and spinach slice. It also has the white garlic sauce with feta cheese mozzarella and spinach. Super great pizzeria and they make their own pizza dough.

I eat here atleast once a week. The chicken wing pizza is amazing. It's my favorite pizza they have, but Hands down the best pizza in town. My daughter absolutely loves the spinach/feta pizza, and if she could. She would eat it or breakfast, lunch, and dinner every single day.. And the owner joe, is very nice and down to earth. Doesn't act better than anyone else and will gladly lend a helping hand if it is needed.. So thank you Joe, for opening the best pizza shop in my home town, and for being such a nice and amazing human being..

Everything was great! We had a medium garlic basil tomato pizza and 2 orders of 10 wings with 2 different sauces for delivery (free in Cortland). Everything was hot when it arrived. The wings were all crispy but not dried out and the sauces were on point. The pizza was cooked properly, a NY style thin crust, very flavorful. The delivery guy was super nice. Easy to place the order and the person taking the order was also nice. I'm only here on vacation, so very happy to find this. My parents will definitely order from here in the future.

The pizza was covered with toppings from the middle all the way to the outside edge, so different than some other places we've ordered from over the years. The wings were very tasty too! We will be ordering again!!!

Have you ever had A Round Pizza? I was asked this question by my daughter and I immediately answered of course, not realizing she meant the pizza shop named "A Round Pizza". Well Joe serves a great slice of pizza with a thinner crust, much like typical NYC slices. The right amount of sauce and great tasting toppings, including mozzarella that's not too oily, makes this a great spot to pick up an entire pie or try their daily specials (2 slices and drink $6.50).

The food is good, the service is good, but the building itself on the inside looks a bit messy. Makes the atmosphere feel like "i dont care".

We are staying at Hope Lake Lodge (at Greek Peak) and decided to stay in our first night after a day of traveling. When comparing reviews from the other three restaurants that deliver here A Round Pizza was a no-brainer. We ordered two medium pizzas and two Greek salads. As you can see from the pictures, they are very generous with toppings and their portions (both pizza and salad) are quite large! They didn’t have Greek dressing which I thought was odd, but I ended up using their Caesar which actually went well with my salad. There were huge chunks of feta and lettuce that had not been broken down which was more of a nuisance than anything. However, they used black olives over kalamata which technically isn’t a Greek salad. Also, the crust was a little dry. However, A Round Pizza was a pleasant treat after a long day and we would certainly order again the next time we stay at this resort. Oh, and for anyone staying here the minimum order for delivery is $50. When you compare prices at the resort restaurants this minimum is nothing and well worth it!

I ordered via Door Dash. It was a large pie, with pepperoni. The crust was burnt and there was barely any sauce on it. This is not the experience I've had in the past but I can't afford to buy food and then throw it away. This was very disappointing.

Where do I even start? First, the service wasnt great. Second, the food was even worse. Just not good food. Its unfortunate because I spent 60$ and was not happy at all. Live and learn I guess. WILL NOT BE BACK AND I SUGGEST NOT EVEN GOING!!!!

Pros: 1. friendly 2. Heavy garlic butter flavor if you are into that Cons: 1. $30 cash for medium pizza and 10 wings 2. Pizza crust was overcooked, giving the texture and taste of cardboard 3. Cheese on top was undercooked??? 4. Pizza sause non existent 5. Do NOT buy the wings. Very dry, no flavor. No wing sause whatsoever, just an oil??? Here is a wing sause I make when I do wings since A Round Pizza doesn't know how to make sause: 1. 1 bottle of franks hot sause 2. 1-2 sticks of butter 3. That's it, it is literally that easy to make a good wing sause.

Stopped by for lunch got 2 slices and a drink went to pick up and was told I didn't pay for a drink. $8+ for 2 slices of day old cheese pizza and a can of Pepsi seems like a ripoff to me. Definitely much better local options to choose from where the works aren't snobby.
