I keep coming back to this location for the fast, friendly service. The employees are always smiling, ask about my family, update me on upcoming specials. Be wary of the noon hour, and buses parked nearby, as it will get extremely busy during lunch and tours stopping off 81.

Kyle is the best sandwich artists that they have ever had there. I am not sure what he is paid but I watched him handle a bus load of folks like it was nothing, he was fast and completely professional,greeted each customer with a smile and totally courteous.

I was coming into town from Homer and had just gotten off the exit when my son made the scariest choking noise from the back seat. I jumped off the exit and pulled into subway and realized he had puked all over himself and his car seat. I went inside and asked for some napkins to clean up the mess, and Jake handed me stack. So I thanked him and came back outside. As I was outside cleaning the mess up, Jake also brought out gloves and a bag to throw the used napkins into. Thank you so much Jake! From my son and I both 💙

Sub was great... As usual! But for sure me reason they didn't have sweet peppers for my sub... Idk if this is nation wide or just at this location? But, either way I will still come back!

Great, fresh, plentiful subs! I used to not like Subway, but they have changed for the better. Their new subs menu is great. I am a school bus driver and ⅓ of my bus went to this store after softball and baseball games in Cortland. The staff there did a GREAT job getting all the orders done fast. My sub was well made, stuffed with chicken, bacon, and veggies. It tasted great. Cookies were very good too. Thank you to the employees at this Subway for taking care of the students from my bus. You did a great job handling the rush.

The young ladies working there today we're incredible. We were there with several adults and students from a marching band. They got us all through quickly, were pleasant and the food was good! While we were in there kids and adults from another marching band showed up. Again, they did a great job getting them through quickly and everyone was happy. GREAT JOB LADIES!!!

Depends on who's making your sandwich. If you get the younger girl she does a great job and you feel good about eating your sandwich. If you get the older lady that's blond well it's going to feel like it was thrown together with anger

The location and store itself is shady but the food is the same as any other subway. Staff could've been more personable but were sufficient for fast food.

Just another chain where you can’t go wrong. I wish the chain stores would be more appealing to the masses in their decor. Not much to say besides a solid quick stop for food in you’re in a rush. Would recommend checking out other local spots in town too if you got time to spare.

I don't know why they quit serving the potato soup, I was very disappointed in that decision.

I guess they are limited in the amount of meat and cheese they put on their subs. Pretty pathetically thin sandwich. If it wasn't for lettuce and tomatoes, it would be a bread sandwich. At least they taste good.

This location was not as clean as I expect from a Subway franchise. There also were a couple items not available due to the employees not having prepared the food properly ahead of time.

The place is clean, and my sandwich was pretty good. However I am vegetarian and I asked if I could get the meal of the day with a veggie sub, which is basically the sub of the day without meat. Most subways will do this since I'm getting less for the same price. Especially since none of their meals of the day are vegetarian. But this Subway wouldn't do it. So I paid $1.50 more for just a veggie delite sandwich and a drink then I would have for the meal deal. I had been driving all day and I was really too tired to discuss it any more or go somewhere else. It's a good thing this isn't my local Subway.

To keep it simple, I ordered a Tuna sub, there was no tuna.

Horrible!!! Several times we have ordered and the order was wrong. The last order was completely wrong! None of the 4 sandwiches we ordered were even close to correct.

Has got to be the slowest subway shop on the planet. 2 people ahead of me and it took 20 minutes to get my sub. Only one worker was making subs, another was rummaging around in the back during this time but only came out at the end to assist. Will not be stopping back any time soon.

Theres a lady that works here, D, has a bad attitude. She talked to us like we didn’t know how to read or listen. She even snapped her fingers at my grandma to hurry her up!

We ordered three subs online, Philly Steak, Steak and Cheese, and roast beef with cheese and usual fixings. THEY DIDN'T PUT ANY CHEESE ON ANY OF THE SUBS! No call to say they were out, no substitute, just no cheese. Epic fail.

Chopped salad was decent and so was wrap but awful sevice and I had to fully cut my wrap myself. Not to mention she threw my wrap at me before even asking if I needed a bag. If she is working next time I will walk away.

Haven't been to this location in a couple years as the worker actually insulted my husband for ordering subs at 9 am for our lunches that day. My husband proceeded to tell her they were for a little later n that was the only chance we had to grab them. She started screaming at him refused to give him her name and refused to call a supervisor or give him the number to call ourselves and kicked him out of the store. It was absolutely ridiculous and will never go there again.

I drive truck. Been to subway all over. Love their subs. Unfortunately the worst i have ever been to is the cortland Clinton ave one. I live less then a mile from this one. Been to it several times. Gave it a chance over and over. I will drive to the other side of town to get my sub. Not talking lately. Been a nasty place for years.

The store closes at 10 today when our bus pulled up at 9:45 they locked the doors when they seen us pull up. Whoever was working needs to be demoted. Arbys closes at 10 and they let people in even after 10 now thats great service feb 2 2018.

There's a lady working here, such a horrible attitude, I came with a group from a tour and some Indian people entered with me, that lady was really rude cause we aren't good enough speaking English, spoke to us like we were morons and accused a woman to put sth in her bag and it wasn't true at all. I ordered 2 sandwiches on mobile. One with pepper jack cheese and one with extra American cheese. When I got there, an employee was yelling at somebody on the phone about their messed up order, which seemed a little unprofessional to me. Then once I got home, I realized that the sandwich that was supposed to have pepper jack had no cheese and the one I paid for extra American cheese had a slice of pepper jack on it. I don’t know if these people can’t read or just plain out LAZY but they can’t seem to get anyone’s order correct. I tried to reach out and got no answer. HORRIBLE.

Very rude and unwelcoming attitudes from the staff. It's OK to smile. Your face won't break. Just very unpleasant people working there. I don't know how they grudge through the day being that unhappy. Then projecting that same negative behavior on the public makes it worse. Food was good. Bathroom was dirty. Trash bin full. Your business is only as good as the people employed to run it. If Subway wasn't a popular chain I promise you, no one would go there!

The service is very poor with terrible staff. The ladies who were making the sandwiches were very rude and they did not change their gloves at all when making the subs. I asked for a veggie sub, but the food she had previously been making had meat in it. When I asked her to change her gloves, she seems very unwilling to do so. After making my sub she continued to use the same gloves to make some other customers order.

I do not like the staff here they are very rude I tried calling about a specific item there and then apparently they were already called about that item 3 times and hung up very unprofessional was thinking about ordering something different anyways but will not order from that subway again. If you can't handle the job and want to give customers or potential customers attitude leave the job.

I’ve gone to Subway three times within the last three weeks in Cortland on 281 and the toaster ovens been broke down every time. I don’t know how long it takes to fix a toaster oven but that’s ridiculous. Should have a back up.

The place appeared to be clean. Unfortunately, workers appeared very grungy, Also, the food looks like it was poorly kept, There are stories at this place has disgusting hygiene practices. It would be interesting to eat a sandwich at a subway, but unfortunately, this subway is a pass. I live nearby and I cannot see myself eating here after they screwed up sandwiches several times in past, They have added an insane amount of vinegar to the point that I received the wet soggy sandwich, also when I walked inside to order my sandwich, the staff was rude and appeared like individuals who could care less about peoples food.

I ordered 2 ft long and one six inch sub. I put a special note to have the sauces on the side. However we got no sauces and no mayo on the one we requested mayo on. Ordered a ft long philly cheesesteak with onions, peppers, pepperjack cheese the only thing on it was spinach none of the other toppings. We ordered 6 inch turkey sub which instead were given a bmt with no requested toppings. Also ordered a footlong bmt with American cheese and instead they put provolone cheese. Very disappointing.

Didn’t end up ordering. The lady came in from smoking, set her cigarette on the counter by the hand washing sink and grabbed some gloves without washing her hands. Makes me wonder what else she doesn’t wash her hands after doing. Ma’am wash your hands. It’s disgusting.

the lady working had no teeth and was not pleasant, her name was not displayed properly. food looked suspicious, white stuff on some of the tomato’s. i ordered after my friend but ended up getting my food first even though i had a bigger order. don’t even get me STARTED on the bathroom, it was so gross.
