This has become my favorite Greek restaurant. I’ve traveled a lot and love tasting new food — and these falafels are the best I’ve had in California! The beet salad was delicate and delicious, and the Greek wine paired perfectly with everything. If you get the chance, go.
Top notch Greek restaurant with limited hours. I started with the hummus as an appetizer, then I had the beef and lamb Gyro sandwich that came with Greek fries for lunch. Food was above average good and plentiful. The hummus is some of the best well-balanced hummus I’ve ever had in a restaurant before. The euro sandwich peppered just right for my taste. And the Greek fries were out of this world. The location is very inviting and very clean and includes outdoor seating. Staff is friendly and helpful and always had a smile.
Had the pleasure of having a birthday dinner at this establishment. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The owner is present and makes every effort to ensure his guests feel at home and are part of his family. My favorite dish was the grilled octopus and Kunefe . Loved it so much that it will be in regular rotation on our places to eat here in Sonoma County.
We were three friends getting together for lunch. We had heard of the delightful new Greek restaurant in Cotati and were excited to try it out. It was a good choice for lunch as the greek decor and large windows make the restaurant bright and cheerful. There is also outside seating. The server was patient and did a good job describing the various dishes as we weren't familiar with all of the menu item names. All of the food looked amazing, was delicious and we enjoyed every last bite. We are looking forward to returning to trying another menu offering.
We had a great experience dining here! The ambiance was warm and inviting perfect for a date night or a chill dinner with friends. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
Great ambiance, it has an indoor area (cozy) and a small outdoor dining area. Food is quite tasty.
Food you can feel good about eating. Healthy. Tasty. Amazing seasonings. Mmm mmm mmm.

Mezzaluna! Great spot! Authentic menu with lots of variety. Service was prompt and endearing, even with a big group. Very nice experience overall, highly recommend for any occasion.

Mom and I both love Greek food, so we were excited to see Mezzeluna opening in town. We of course had to check it out for lunch while she was visiting. First impression walking in- nicely remodeled and classy. Food- Mom had the Avgolemono Soup and Moussaka. I had the chicken gyro sandwich. Wow- the gyro just might be the best I’ve EVER had! Delicious and BIG. I will be back for that alone. I also had a sip of the soup and enjoyed the flavor of the ‘hot oil’ drizzled on top… gave it something special that I’m not sure I’ve ever had on Avgolemono soup. Yummy! Fresh ingredients, kind staff, clean environment. A nice addition to Sonoma County and Cotati! We were there for the lunch menu (pictured), dinner menu is a bit different. Both can be found on their website. (Note- soup had been partially eaten when the picture was taken, hence the ‘dirty’ presentation on the side. It came perfectly neat 😜)
My husband had lunch here and would not stop talking about taking me back to try it. We arrived as lunch service was ending and instead of turning us away Chef Ari gladly and personally seated us, took our order and served us. I was floored at his graciousness and hospitality. I generally do not love Greek food but when I say I cleaned my plate…! Between Chef Ari’s kindness and the quality of the food I am truly a newfound fan of this establishment and genuinely wish them all of the success I feel they so greatly deserve. See you soon Chef!
Delicious, authentic Greek food. The best garlic shrimp, fully permeated with garlic & other seasonings. Flavorful meat dumplings, manti, like mini Greek tortellini stuffed with seasoned beef & a creamy yogurt sauce. Will return!!
Greeted warmly by Ali.Sat outside on comfortable chairs. Refreshing blue and white decor.Had the Avgolemono soup and calamari starter with a fantastic tartar sauce. After calamari was consumed used pitas to clean the bowl. First time there and will return.
Went to lunch with my wife. It was hard to order, everything sounded good. We ordered spicy hummus with pita, the fried cheese, Greek fries and shared a beef and lamb gyro plate. They were all so delicious. We will definitely be back to try other things. The staff was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Tried this restaurant while visiting family and couldn't have been more delighted to find it! Owner was present and was very friendly for our table of 3 the day after Thanksgiving. The food was fresh and we tried several appetizers and dishes and each was as good as the last! The spanikopita was fresh and flavorable. The phyllo was perfect! The restaurant has a parking lot along with street parking. I can't say enough about the welcoming atmosphere. Service was attentive and they even have a terrific non-alcoholic wine that we enjoyed with our meal. (Sea Monster Tidal Wave White) We shared and enjoyed 4 appetizers that were flavorful and freshly made. Feta & Olives, Hummus, Tzatziki and Tyrokafteri along with crispy Brussel sprouts. And we cannot forget to mention the spanikopita once more. This restaurant is definitely on our return list! Awesome food and a very nice, friendly staff and owner.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mezzaluna is truly exceptional. From the moment you taste the food, you can tell it’s made with care, skill, and a deep respect for flavor. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared and beautifully balanced. The quality of the ingredients shines through, and the dishes are both comforting and memorable. It’s the kind of place where you can feel the passion behind the kitchen—not just good food, but food made with intention. Mezzaluna is a place I’ll happily return to and confidently recommend to anyone looking for a genuinely great dining experience.
Great food at a delightful location! Right off the downtown area, it was such a quiet and inviting space. The lamb was absolutely delicious! Soft and tender, complimented with the spongey pita and crunchy cabbage and well balanced sauce. I came with my sister and we had a wonderful time chatting and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. Great lunch spot!
Mezzeluna’s menu is an amazing culinary celebration of Greece. We ate Spanakopita with aromatic dips like Tzatziki and Humus, each accompanied by seasoned pita. The Avgolemono soup was outstanding and comforting. The Mezzedaki offers a lavish mezze array. Meat lovers can indulge in the flavorful Koftadakia, a rich blend of beef and lamb. We ended with delightful Baklava and warm Kunefe ensuring a memorable finish. Don’t miss this gem in Sonoma.

I brought my sister and her husband here for lunch as a thank-you for helping me move into my new home. I checked the menu ahead of time since they’re vegan and saw a few items that appeared suitable. Once we arrived and confirmed with our server (who was absolutely delightful), we learned that some of the menu indicators were incorrect — the pita and a few other items are made with butter. We shared this with the owner, who was very receptive and mentioned plans to explore butter-free pizza options in the future, which was appreciated. That said, the food was delicious. The falafel was perfectly crunchy on the outside and moist inside. The hummus was incredibly creamy, and I especially enjoyed the spicy version. My son loved his chicken kebabs. We didn’t have room for dessert this visit, but I’ve had their baklava and Turkish coffee before and highly recommend both. The décor is lovely, and once the background music started, it really enhanced the overall dining experience.
Liked this place, but most likely won't be going back because it's really too expensive for what is worth. It was $12+ to add chicken to the salad, which is crazy. I'll admit it was enough chicken to fill me up, but otherwise, portions are small.
Came across this really good restaurant. Was a little nervous cause I just wanted a gyro sandwich, but it's only served @ lunch. However, we decided to try a few other dishes, and I'm so glad we did. We had the lasagna and Alexander plate, which is sliced lamb and beef. It was so tender and full of flavor. Service was a little slow since there was only one server. However, it's a small restaurant. There is patio seating.

I wish I could give this place a better review on the food, but it's just not quite right with me. Very expensive for what you get and it's very a la carte. The mains lack substance besides the main meat dish. The meats taste fine, but they come with nothing on the side, but mashed potatoes? or smothered in tomato sauces? which is unique to this place. Mashed potatoes don't work with this food! No pita, no hummus, no saffron or yellow rice? And for the price I always feel unsatisfied here. A much better Mediterranean experience can be had at King Falafel in Sebastopol or Falafel Hut in downtown Santa Rosa. Full plates with meat mains, hummus, olives, pita bread and saffron rice and did I mention the Falafel. Now we're talkin!
Coming from the restaurant business, I am always willing to give the benefit of the doubt but not this time. My wife and I went here for our Valentine's dinner. We arrived at 6:30pm and ordered within 10 minutes. We both had a drink and calamari to start. After 60 minutes, our server came to ask how our meal was and we told her that we haven't eaten yet. She thought we were done! She apologized and said it should be coming shortly. She came back a few minutes later and asked what we ordered. My wife had the Slouvaki and I ordered the Sea Bass. She comes back a few minutes later to tell us they are out of Sea Bass and would I like the Salmon. My wife wanted to leave but I said, we are already here. The server said it would be less than 10 minutes which it was. When the server came back she apologized again and said she was actually one of the owners and that the entire meal was on them We protested but she insisted. After we finished our dinner, we waited for her to come around and confirm the check was being taken care of. She never came back. They were slammed and obviously understaffed so we got up and went to the front. The girl there brought up our order on the computer and said the bill was $98. I explained what had happened and she took off the calamari. I asked if she talk to the server/owner just to confirm that was the only adjustment. The girl came back and took another 10% off bringing our bill down to $85. We paid it and left. Things happen, I get that but when you have a chance to make it right, you do it. That's good business in any business!
We made reservations on Open Table and they asked me if this was a special occasion and I responded and said it was my wife's Birthday. They acknowledged her at all. They never bothered to come by the table to ask us about our food or even ask us if we would like another drink. I had to run down our server to ask for our check. This was a very disappointing experience on a special night. We will never return this place again.
