Being a lover of fine chocolates their chocolates are wonderful. The quality and time they put into making their chocolates are worth the price. I purchased a few, 9 piece, boxes for friends and they loved them. 😍

Delicious on-site hand made truffles and chocolates. Owner was so kind and gave us several samples. We purchased a few small boxes of truffles to bring home for friends etc.

My daughter and I stopped here for dessert and share the sentiments of previous reviews that this is the best chocolate we've ever had! Don't be fooled by the seemingly all dark exterior of the chocolates (we are milk chocolate lovers), it is a thin shell for the deliciousness of the creamy flavorful insides. If you love chocolate then this place is a must!

I look forward to hitting up these guys as soon as I get to Cozumel. Best chocolate in the whole island and maybe that part of the world. Excellent regional chocolate that is high quality and done right by the staff to get the most flavor out of every bit. Easy win for all the ladies, guys, and kids when we walk in with a box of these. I have tried everything and can't name a favorite so I keep going back and trying it again and again. Odd thing I do love is their cocoa nibs sprinkled on vanilla ice cream for that dark chocolate flavor and nutty crunch. Ready to go back!

Excellent chocolate and great service! The lady who was working when we visited took the time to explain all of the products and they had samples so that we could try a couple flavors of their classic chocolates (tiramisu and orange habanero I believe. Both were wonderful). We bought a box with a bunch of the available flavors. It was definitely hard to decide which since there is quite a few different varieties to choose from. Overall, it was a very nice experience and we would recommend to anyone who enjoys good chocolate.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Chocolatería Isla Bella! Not only was the owner amazing but the chocolates are freaking AMAZING! I saw some posts on here about someone being rude - we saw the total opposite. Everyone was kind and happy to see us. In a great location so easy to get to and just all around fantastic!

Their chocolates are delicious!! My only regret is not buying more. The chocolate mazapán is different, yet, definitely mazapán. Their truffles are fantastic, and so was the brownie. You can't go to Cozumel and not stop by.

Upon entering this delightful facility. The four of us are invited to sample the ouaxaca (sp?) chocolate as well as a white chocolate lime filling which was scrumptious. The chocolate get better with each visit. Delicious chocolates, mixed with great service, and friendly demeanor, means it is a must stop every time we visit Cozumel.

El establecimiento está un poco escondido y parece cerrado, pero en su interior alberga múltiples elecciones deliciosas, desde granos de café hasta chocolate de muchísima variedad, la atención es muy cordial y te explican atentamente las cosas (en inglés y español), los precios sí son ligeramente elevados en comparación con el resto del mercado, sin embargo está rico para degustar un buen chocolate y la presentación es muy bella. Además, si están buscando un regalo para alguien especial ,puede ser una buena elección, ya que cuentan con cajas bonitas para guardarlos. En lo personal recomiendo que prueben las trufas de temporada porque hay variaciones en el menú.

So happy to leave a review for this gem. The chocolates are not only stellar in flavor, but they are all dairy-free, made with coconut milk because they wanted to use local products. Great for all our lactose intolerant and vegan friends! Most (about a dozen flavors) are also gluten-free, with just 3 flavors or the 15 or so flavors with gluten in them. Plus their rustic Mexican drinking chocolate is great! Very kind women both, and they speak fluent Spanish and English. Highly recommend for great local-made chocolate.

Anyone who is looking for some of the best chocolate on the planet, Chocolateria Isla Bella is THE place. They continue to be 2nd to none. The economics of cacao is in chaos right now and the price of it has tripled in the past couple years. Great quality doesn’t come cheap. So, along with great quality and taste, I have a clear conscience that the owner has sourced a supply-chain that pays a living wage to everyone. So yes, the price may feel high at first, but when you taste it, I’m sure you will agree it is a splurge worth making and you’ll wish you’d bought more! 😄 The two women owners, Meghan and her daughter Isabel are two pioneering, and courageous people, who survived the business disasters of Covid on the island, and have taken the art of vegan chocolate to its highest level. Please don’t think the likes of Godiva and Lindt are an example of great chocolate. They are not! I categorize them more as “industrial waste”. Each chocolate is a gem. Savor it. Enjoy each and every piece to its max! And when you’re done, please applaud these folks for bringing their talent to Cozumel. I’ve been coming to Cozumel 3-4 times a year for the past eight years for scuba diving and underwater photography, and wouldn’t dream of going home without a box full. Every time I visit Cozumel, stopping by this local establishment is always a top priority. They serve a wide variety of handmade chocolates that are exquisite. They have a few tables inside and outside that provide an ideal spot to savor the chocolates and discuss which ones are our favorites. The reality is that we enjoy all of them!

This is a very addictive little shop hidden away from tourist Centro hosted by the very charming Cicillia. Walk to wall freshly made on site chocolate delights including liquid center candies, cocoa & giant chocolate chip cookies. The prices are little high but pure Mexican chocolate isn’t cheap. If you really want it, you’ll buy it; I did. Recommend.

One of our favorite places to frequent for excellent chocolate. The mother/daughter make their chocolate on premise and really have the flavors dialed in. The Oaxaca is my favorite but they are all really good, so buy a full box of everything or you will miss out. The chocolates travel well and we will put them in the freezer to chill before flying home and they are always in perfect condition. I also enjoy their chocolate nibs for recipes and sprinkling over vanilla ice cream. The one thing I didn't expect to be so good was the Chiapas coffee. If you like a medium roast that is mellow but full flavored with a complexity that hits the right notes, don't forget to pick up a bag of this too.

Delicious gem in Cozumel! These chocolates are very high quality and the flavors are delicate and unique. I wasn't able to stay and savor my treats this time, but they packaged up my purchase very well and it made it all the way back home safely in January. Note that these chocolates are plant-based/vegan, so no cream or butter. Some ganaches have a mild coconut flavor because of this. I was worried about the chocolates tasting like sunscreen, but they did a good job of balancing that flavor so it complimented the natural chocolate without overwhelming it. (I think removing the dairy also extends the shelf life of the chocolates without refrigeration, but I am not sure there.) In my rush to return to my ship, I completely forgot to buy their drinking chocolate mix, which was wonderful! Next time I find myself near Cozumel, I will definitely stop by for more.

The most delicious vegan chocolates I have ever had, and incredibly friendly, generous, and helpful service. I was allowed to sample several different products, and walked out with single origin bean-to-bars as well as a variety of decadent, unique truffles. They have some kind of magic going on here, I seriously have not had any vegan chocolates anywhere near this good in the states.

Excellent truffles and sipping chocolate. The truffles were silky smooth, almost cloud-like, airy interior bursting with flavor. Chocolate is very dark, but with just enough sweetness to satisfy. The individual working there (or owner?) wasn’t particularly friendly, but kind enough to explain the flavors. Go here!

Wow!! What a wonderful and tasty experience! My friend and I stumbled into this shop by accident when we saw the word “chocolate”, we’re both chocoholics. Immediately upon entering a nice woman offered us samples of her 4 most recent creations, her passion and love for chocolate was apparent and she continued to explain the full process of her recipes. Everything here is locally and fairly sourced from the best cacao, no fillers. We tried the sea salt, Mexican coffee, triple chocolate, and oaxacan flavors of truffles, and let me just say- INCREDIBLE! I would highly recommend this shop owned by the sweetest family. They gave us more recommendations to get through the rest of our vacation and helped us have the best experience in Cozumel. Thank you, we can’t wait to come back!

Amazing range, taste and hand made genius from bean to bar. Unlike other places and chocolate tours, this place actually grinds its own beans and makes chocolate from scratch... true chocolatiers! I'm not usually that much of a chocolate lover but this place has changed my mind and everyone walked out happy, with quite a few boxes and big smiles on their faces. There's something for every taste bud, truffles, a great range of fillings and all of the milk, dark and white chocolate you can eat.
