This Starbucks branch in particular has been opened since I was a kid of about 4 years old . It's always been a serviceable spot compared to most Starbucks branches in California with highly friendly and professional staff .

I live in American Canyon close to the American Canyon & Hwy 29 Starbucks and visit there often. I am engineer in renewable energies and like to enjoy a Starbucks World Famous Coffee Café Americano while reviewing my technical books and notes. I have found very consistent high-quality food, drink, and service provided by a talented staff who know how to blend coffee drinks. This is a wonderful place for all ages and backgrounds. It is great for bringing kids, meeting with friends, dates, or associates, and for reading, writing, and studying, especially for students with their laptops. A place for everyone. The American Canyon Starbucks is a great place to be and the staff works hard to keep the customers satisfied and returning. This is America.

Staff is friendly, lots of seats and plugs, great people to meet Management is friendly and has great conflict resolution skills. Staff is friendly and takes order promptly. Opens early and there's alot of seating to study with lots of plugs to use. The music is chill and has many different genres. The people to meet there are awesome and have alot of experience in their careers. There's also lots of outside seating as well great for the summer.

This location deserves a 5 star rating. The customer service is incredible. Everyone works together as a team and they make the customer feel important. I have been to plenty of Starbucks locations but this encouraged me to speak about my experience. The cashier embraced with a warm welcome and made my order personable. On a weekend morning, they were pretty busy and there was a line but I didn't mind it at all. The drinks are always perfect, the food always fresh.

Best experience I’ve ever had in a Starbucks. Kailulani was so nice and patient and respectful with me. I’m not a normal Starbucks customer and always feel rushed. They were out of an ingredient I wanted but he made helpful suggestions and had a warm and welcome smile. I might have to go to Starbucks more often when I’m back home.

Such great service. They recently got their credit card reader stole (who does that!) and were able to run cards inside with permission, which I really appreciated. They were able to get through 10 cars in 10 minutes with a smile! The sugarcookie almond milk latte, but with oatmilk instead, is my favorite holiday drink!

I wasn't having a good day after visiting a different starbucks store to get coffee. I decided to come to this one and pay for another order since a previous location in Emeryville failed 3 times. Without hesitation, the staff at this location made it right. They remade my order almost instantly and provided great customer service. I'm sorry I didn't get your names ladies but seriously , thank you for making my day better and being so kind.

ALL Starbuck stores have changed post COVID -19 and NOT for the better in MY opinion. That being said this is STILL one of my all time go to stores. The Baristas at this store have remained consistently GOOD!

Usually I would rave about this location. I visit a lot of Starbucks locations and this is by far my favorite however I had a barista be openly rude with me over her mistaking the size I ordered, no big deal right? I politely pointed out that that's not the size I'd ordered, and she became obviously annoyed and started banging stuff around out of irritation. I came back the next day per my normal and all employee eyes were on me, then they all started smirking and giggling at me as I'm walking up to the register. I ask to speak with the manager and she informs me that she already know everything. (????!!!) She informed me that the barista is leaving anyways so I shouldn't worry about it. I wasnt worried in the least but I wanted to let her know my view of what happened. She basically told me that she wouldn't compensate me for anything. I explained that I didnt want anything. I went back in and ordered my drinks. Still getting smirks and whispers. Any whoo, a few days passed, a different shift is working, yet this shift is still showing the same rudeness, smirks and giggles whispers directed at me. I didnt do anything wrong and I feel as if I'm being shunned. Which sucks because being a regular I used to be greeted with kindness and smiles. I guess that's gone now.

I don't come here often, but when I do, it's ok. But this morning, I didn't really care for the visit. I happened to get my coffee a little before 10 am. The girl at the register wasn't rude, but she wasn't very welcoming either. I ordered pastry and coffee. I was never called when the pastry was warmed up; I just happened to see two pastry bags at the pick up counter, looked inside both of them to see if one of them was mine. Sure enough, it was. Then when I got my coffee, it wasn't very good. It just tasted like regular coffee with milk. Maybe it was just a miss this morning, rather than a hit. But it seems like this is the only starbucks I've come across that's a little inconsistent. Maybe my next visit there will be a hit.

This location is great other than the fact they recently started adding extra syrup pumps to my drinks. They keep adding this little charge everytime I come and don't tell me they are charging for extra syrup. I don't ask for any adjustments on my drinks either. I normally wouldn't have a problem but adding charges people don't ask for and not telling them I have a huge problem with.

Friendly staff. I agree the bathroom needs more regular cleaning. Biggest concern: if I ask for decaf: PLEASE make it decaf. I don't understand why the baristas ignore the order labels. Y'all put my health at risk too many times.

Everytime I come to this Starbucks they always fall short with making my drink. It never tastes as good as other locations. There are a few nice baristas there, but then there are ones who talk about you like you are not there, and speculate about whether you are trying to get a drink for a cheaper price. If I’m paying I expect to get what I want without anyone questioning my intentions.

Took my daughter here before school and they had no hot or cold brew coffee... Yep. A coffee shop had no coffee. So she got a Dragon fruit drink (which she liked) but I walked away with nothing.

So I just walked in Starbucks getting drinks for my family after a long day of work and the service was very childish and unprofessional! I had to ask for my receipt because she didn’t even offer it to me and instead of listening to the customer all they did was laugh and talk to each other screaming my order in a unprofessional way when I was Literally standing right there. Worst experience ever. Please hire better workers that’s actually want to work . Sucks because my family comes here a lot.. they just lost a weekly customer

We went to this Starbucks for a private meeting and while we were there, we were subjected to the loudest, most immature behavior I've ever seen from Starbucks staff. I'm not sure what all the excitement was about, but my wife asked for a manager and everybody pointed at the person who was- by far- the loudest and most disruptive person in the room. Yelling, screaming and high-volume yelling at guests she was excited to see, telling everybody about her personal life, etc was just a small bit of what we experienced last night. I'm appalled at what the guests were subjected to, and what's worse is that the volume of conversation between staff soon returned to previous levels not long after my wife said something. We could not hear each other (sitting next to each other) or the people we were talking to on the phone in our meeting because of the sheer volume constantly coming from this ladies vocal chords. Holy cow, I'm not even kidding. This manager should be in a theater not equipped with sound amplification, or giving speeches to thousands, not running a Starbucks in AmCan.

I walk in started ordering she laughed at a joke one of three workers said. I started my order over she told me the price I paid the 3 didn't start making my drink but continued talking . Finally danny walked out made my drink he gets 5 stars because he was the only person doing his job

I asked for a certain drink and when it was wrong I asked the barista to remake it instead she poured it into another cup. She told me she knows how the drink taste that it would not matter how I liked it made. Even though someone remade it, still taste funny and you can tell by the way it looks that it doesn’t taste how you want it. Don’t mean to be bitter but a girl who is at least 20 yrs younger than me can’t tell me how I like my drink and giggle about it..... instead of loosing my cool I’m off to another STARBUCKS to have them remake it.

Worst experience ever. I remember now why I don't go to Starbucks. The first cup of tea I ordered was ruined when the girl decided she would add the milk ( way too much ). That's not how it works kid. The second cup didn't come with a lid but was stacked inside another cup. I had to get in line again to ask for a lid. Apparently it didn't seal properly. I set my scalding cup of tea on a crippled table, the table was bumped , it fell over, the lid blew off, every drop was spilled on me. I happened to be wearing shorts and flip flops. Die, Starbucks. Die. Die. Die. With gaping wounds and oozing sores, DIE!

Experience was bad. I had a mobile phone order as I waited for the order to be called witch was never called the staff was playing around with each other slap and tickle. The coffee Frappuccino was terrible. I wont be back.

Would not recommend, it took 10 minutes for them to make my order I did from the app and when I got there there were no other drinks in the pick up area and it was slow. One of the workers was just on her phone where everyone can see her. Very unprofessional. When I asked if they had my drink they did have it waiting on their counter but just couldn’t put it in the pick up area for me for some reason.

Young lady at the counter named Amy was exceptionally rude. In telling her she was rude another Mexican lady had her bit to say even though she was not in the store when little Amy spoke to me. The Mexican lady told me I think I am entitled because I'm white. I was shocked at the treatment of the worker and the visitor. I am in guest service and have been for 10 years in sprestiges boutique hotels. Delivery is very important when you speak to guests, clients or visitors visiting your store. Even if it was for a mask. For a Starbucks i was appalled and would have Amy fired at once. I have contacted Head Quarters due to this ill mannered little lady. I am 3 times her age and grew up with respect. She had none! Very bad experience from this store. Your staff need training!

I came into the store and got in line there was a gentleman that wasn’t standing in line, look like he was waiting for his order. when it came time to order he walked in front of me and proceeded to order. I then let him know I was in line I was there first he was standing to the side. He agreed to let me go when tawny was so rude and said he was in line. It’s clear he wasn’t cause I was standing behind the lady that just ordered and she argued me down even after the gentlemen agreed to let me order. Tawny was very rude when talking to me to where I didn’t order my drink without whip and now I paid money for a drink I won’t drink. Sucks cause I’ve always come to this Starbucks

I walked into Starbucks and showed the worker my order for doordash and told her that was my order in front of her she insisted it was not my order and that I should sit down and wait. She proceeded to call everyone else's order and then when it was my turn she grabbed the exact order that I told her that was mine. I told her that was the order you said wasnt mine so I asked for her name and she walked to the back of the store not saying anything. Horrible customer service!! Not a good look for Starbucks! I brought an unopened bag of Starbucks whole bean coffee (a gift from a friend) to this store and politely asked to have it ground. The store manager refused, saying they don’t grind beans—even though it was clearly a Starbucks-branded product. I understand each store may have its own policy, but as a loyal Starbucks customer, I was disappointed. Starbucks usually offers to grind their own beans as part of customer service, and I expected the same here. The way the manager handled it felt a bit dismissive instead of explaining clearly or offering an alternative. I’ve been a regular at the American Canyon Starbucks for months, visiting a few times a week, always making a purchase, keeping my table neat, and tipping when I can. But after my last two experiences with the manager, I’m honestly questioning whether I want to keep coming back. On January 27th, I was in the store on a phone call when the manager suddenly interrupted me, loudly demanding that I make a purchase immediately. I let her know I would, just like I always do, but she kept going on in front of everyone that I “ACTUALLY” had to buy something, as if I had been sitting there without paying before (which has never happened). Even after I ended my call and started placing my order, she came up again, raising her voice and telling me to leave. The whole interaction felt aggressive, unnecessary, and humiliating. I was willing to believe this was just a bad moment—until I came back on February 3rd and saw her treat someone else completely differently. She politely informed another customer of the seating policy with no hostility at all, proving that she can be respectful when she chooses to be. Meanwhile, she made a loud comment about how there were no tables left for her to sit at because they were “all taken up” while standing right behind me. It felt incredibly pointed and unprofessional. I have no issue following store policies, but there’s a way to communicate them without singling people out and making them feel unwelcome. It’s disappointing that someone in a management position would treat a loyal customer this way. I hope Starbucks takes a hard look at how leadership at this location interacts with customers because this experience has left a really bad impression. For clarity, I emailed Starbucks Customer Service twice regarding this issue before posting this review, but I never received a response. This review was written after those attempts to resolve the matter directly.

Omg took 10 min to do my drink. Felt bad for the guy because he was the only 1 doing the drinks and a lady barely doing the bare minimum effort to help.

I’ve been a regular at the American Canyon Starbucks for months, visiting a few times a week, always making a purchase, keeping my table neat, and tipping when I can. But after my last two experiences with the manager, I’m honestly questioning whether I want to keep coming back. On January 27th, I was in the store on a phone call when the manager suddenly interrupted me, loudly demanding that I make a purchase immediately. I let her know I would, just like I always do, but she kept going on in front of everyone that I “ACTUALLY” had to buy something, as if I had been sitting there without paying before (which has never happened). Even after I ended my call and started placing my order, she came up again, raising her voice and telling me to leave. The whole interaction felt aggressive, unnecessary, and humiliating. I was willing to believe this was just a bad moment—until I came back on February 3rd and saw her treat someone else completely differently. She politely informed another customer of the seating policy with no hostility at all, proving that she can be respectful when she chooses to be. Meanwhile, she made a loud comment about how there were no tables left for her to sit at because they were “all taken up” while standing right behind me. It felt incredibly pointed and unprofessional. I have no issue following store policies, but there’s a way to communicate them without singling people out and making them feel unwelcome. It’s disappointing that someone in a management position would treat a loyal customer this way. I hope Starbucks takes a hard look at how leadership at this location interacts with customers because this experience has left a really bad impression. For clarity, I emailed Starbucks Customer Service twice regarding this issue before posting this review, but I never received a response. This review was written after those attempts to resolve the matter directly.
