Muy rico !! Sabor a Oaxaca 100% Muy recomendable!!
Delicious Oaxacan food. We ordered a memela, mole negra, tasajo tacos, and a quesadilla with chapulines. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. I'll be back to this place very soon.
Excellent place for Oaxacan food, generous portions and affordable prices. Everything was delicious.
A little slice of Oaxaca in Mexico City. The menu offers tlayudas with meat, but my favorite is the one with grasshoppers and Oaxaca cheese. If you think a tlayuda is too much, you can order individual tacos. Enter through Modena Street; the architecture of the area will be your dessert.
For those of us who are far from home and long for its culinary delights, here at La Purísima we find a way to enjoy the exquisite dishes of our land. There's nothing like savoring a delicious hot chocolate with egg yolk bread, cecina (dried, salted meat), and so on... Everything is exquisitely prepared, everything is so delicious. The place is top-notch, clean and hygienic, the staff's service is excellent, in short, 100% recommended. If you want to taste the flavors of Oaxaca, this is the best place!!!
Great atmosphere, excellent service. The sauces were delicious, and the food I tried was very tasty. Typical Oaxacan food felt like you were eating it in the state itself. The tlayudas, the beef jerky, everything had a rich Mexican flavor. The decor was 10/10. I would definitely come back.
What a wonderful restaurant! I loved the food, the service, and the atmosphere at "La Santísima" in the Historic Center—it's a must-visit. The tacos al pastor are the best I've ever had, and the salsas have a unique flavor. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and the decor is beautiful and inviting. I will definitely return to this place and recommend it to everyone who wants to enjoy an authentic Mexican experience.
Excellent place! Most of the time when I visit the historic center with my father, this is our go-to spot for a meal. The food is wonderful, and the warm, inviting atmosphere makes my visit feel safe and secure. The great taste and excellent prices mean that if you're visiting the center of our country, you can't miss these delicious dishes.
It's an affordable place. I had a cecina taco they call tasajo, but you can't really find real tasajo anywhere. The area is a bit rough with lots of street vendors and it's not very clean. One advantage is that you can pay by card. The food lacks seasoning, but it's passable. I didn't get any chilacayote water because it was late, but it's fine for a quick snack.
The food reminds you of Oaxaca City. The dishes (tlayudas, empanadas, tamales, enfrijoladas) are well-sized, as are the drinks. My recommendations are tlayuda with beef jerky, a yellow mole empanada, and chicken enfrijoladas, which taste like avocado leaves. You must try the traditional prickly pear ice cream (red) and burnt milk. The tejate and chilacayota water are a must. The tables are a bit small, and those facing the street make it difficult for people to pass through.

Unfortunately, lately the quality of their products has declined, I think to keep prices low. They used to be the best in all their products. Now the chorizo has too much inedible fat, and the tasajo (dried beef) isn't what it used to be... I hope they can return to their former quality. Regards
There's no customer service, the tables are crooked, old, and ugly, the chairs are also crooked and in bad condition, the cashier isn't friendly, and the people who bring the food don't care if we need anything or not! Very bad service, plus the street singers harass the diners—it's terrible that they're allowed in to beg for money! The food isn't bad, but it could be much better if everything I mentioned changed.
I went with high expectations, but honestly, neither my family member nor I liked it. We had tamales with black mole, and they tasted bitter, like they'd burned it, and they were kind of mushy. And the bean tamales tasted good, but the herb they added was very strong, and we didn't like that. The café de olla was very good. You can tell it's a traditional Oaxacan place, but I wouldn't go back.
