The customer service was very helpful with my inquiries. I finally decided on the tri-tip sandwich and it was mouth watering. I choked it down with a delicious guava passion fruit drink. Did I mention the Colby Cookies? I tried the chocolate walnut one. Delish! I can't wait to go back.

The owner & staff are very cordial. The pulled pork was out of this world. & If you have a problem finding the place, if your anywhere within a 2 block radius of Washington PL. & Washington Blvd. where they collide, the intoxicating smell of the barbeque grill will transport you to the Outdoor Grill. Fantastic!

Still serving up some great grub for over 20 years! Location is still a problem since it's squeezed into such a small footprint, but the food has always been great. Remember now, it's a grill, so think backyard barbeque. Wish I could make it down more than once in a blue moon but I'll definitely hit it if ever I'm on this side of town.

My husband and I stopped in here this afternoon after we made a stop over at holy Cross cemetery in Culver City to remove our Christmas decorations for the season from our family members Graves but it was nice and warm everything smells so good in the food that we had was yummy and delicious we had the baby back ribs which are always my favorite thank you for your hospitality your kindness

It was good, but not great. At least with what I ate which was a tri tip sandwich. Roll was delicious, chewy and meat was seasoned well but seemed a bit dry not moist. Mac texturally was good but needed more salt or flavor, maybe a bit of smoked paprika.

Went with a few colleagues for lunch. Service was quick. The Tri-tip sandwich is good, but the pull pork sandwich is the better choice if you like pork. Mac & cheese side was okay. Looked like that used shell pasta, so cheese really only stuck to the outside. The baked beans were tasty, hot, and stayed hot long after the mac and cheese was cold. Also had a regular drink, looks like the cups only come in 1 or 2 sizes, both large. The guava and passion fruit juice/tea was tasty and really help cut through the BBQ sauce when needed. Make sure to ask for the spicy sauce. It's the better choice. Pretty good for Not for just over under $18. Probably could have kept it under 16 without the M&C and just stuck to the baked beans. Cornbread is a pass. Fries are regular fries, but they give you a large amount compared to other sides.

I have always loved this place. They have very good tasting bbq, the price is about average, the portions are about average. The full rack of pork ribs is pricey, but they are good. The tri-tip sandwich is good, but not great (meat tenderness, doneness, not fattyness is a hit or miss proposition), hamburger special they are running right now is very very good. Price is good, size is good, taste is very good, fries and a drink for 9$ total, well worth it. The chicken is also tastey and resonabley priced.. The restaurant Is at the tip of an intersection (Washington blvd and Washington Pl) at the butt end of a car wash, but it is still fun to sit in the terrace out door area and munch on so good bbq. Try it you might like it.

Sides are wonderful, cole slaw one of the best, baked beans are super and the mac and cheese tops any other I've had. It's better for carry out as the ambience leaves a lot to be desired, but the food is delicious and amply served. I love their sauce and I'm beginning to drool as I write this. I usually order the pulled pork sandwich. Yum!

Wow, this is the place to go. Don't go to In-n-out or any other fast food places nearby. The food here is better, yes, it takes longer, but it's worth it. You get much better and more food here.

Good little corner place. The turkey chili was good! The Mac and Cheese was decent. The Tri-Tip Mini Tacos and Chicken Mini Tacos were pretty good: the sauce was too spicy for me and the chicken was too dry for my liking, as was the tri-tip. But overall good food so far!

This place was pretty good and I enjoyed it. The ribs are small but still have a good chunk of meat. The tri-tip is fine but it needs bbq sauce on it otherwise pretty bland. It was like a 2.5 out of 5, the food was just OK, pretty cool spot but for the price you pay you don’t get too much meat especially the ribs, it was mostly bone not much meat on them at all. Anyone who is driving by I would say maybe check it out but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way for it again

Drive by after day on my way to work and smells delicious. Disappointed to find it’s mediocre at best though. Chewy tri-tip. Good flavor on the mac n cheese, but overall a bit dry, over cooked and hard. The pulled pork was decent though. In west Coast adjusted terms I understand the 4 stars people give it, but four stars in CA is still a low three compared to real BBQ.

I try to be as honest and impartial with my reviews and I never have an ax to grind. That being said, I was not overwhelmed by this restaurant. The tri tip was dry, and lacked flavor. The cornbread wqs way too dry. The mac and cheese was dry and flavorless. The coleslaw didn't really have much flavor either. The pork ribs had a wonderful flavor. Personally i wish they had a bit more meat, but flavor wise, they hit the spot. One thing I did find to be outstanding was their sauce. Generally I don't care for a sweet sauce, but this sauce was sweet without the thick molasses consistency. It was a rather liquidy sauce with a nice vinegar contrast to the sweetness. To me it was a perfect balance. If there had been a bottle of sauce by me I might have drank it all down ny itself. At any rate, Outdoor Grill isn't terrible but I think a few tweaks here and there would make I worthy od a much higher rating.

They forgot my macaroni and cheese on my order and didn't believe me when I went back to get it. I waited while she looked through the receipts to confirm. And it wasn't worth the wait. The Mac and cheese was bland and dry.

Please don’t try to buy good reviews, I been here twice and really guys the meat i got was like eat a paper. It has taste nothing. Only the barbecue sauce was good. Also i tried the veggies and nobody in the kitchen use at least salt to taste better. Really not recommended this place

Food is great! I come a least once a week here.. and sometimes 3 times a week, have tried different meals as tri tip sandwich, potato salad, cheese burger etc nothing wrong with the food but is so annoying that most of the time they forget to put silverware on your order, not just that but today I ordered a cheese burger combo.. i asked the lady for a ketchup she says: oh there is one inside already ok so I trust her.. i drove away and parked at the jobsite.. open the box and the bag and there is no ketchup either silverware..:/ so disappointing, those details take away yours greatness.

Came here because haven't been here for a long time but will be staying away for sure. Came in with Erick having an attitude while placing my order. Received my order that wasn't done correctly so had to go back and asked them to fix it so they can give me more attitude and faces. Cost wasn't cheap either. Tri tip dry and cold. 3 different plates for $60 and attitude. Will definitely not be coming back. No Thank You!

One star is generous for this establishment. I ordered their catfish, which was nothing more than a nasty looking piece of fish doused in vinegar. I might have tried eating it, had it not smelt so terrible. I spent $60 at this place for nought. Don’t bother eating here. This place would not survive anywhere else in the country.

Had a tri tip sandwich about 30 minutes later my stomach is cramping and I feel like I want to throw up, my grandkids also didnt want to eat their food and I'm glad I didnt make them. The flavor was mediocre, definitely not worth getting sick. I haven't been there in a long time and now I will stay away even longer. Spent way too much money to feel like this.
