Food was great tasting, correct to the order and was on time. Outstanding customer service. Absolutely tasty food, served hot and fresh. Had an old fashioned which was delightful. Will definitely comeback for the great food and even better experience.

Finally tried Outback Steakhouse for the first time and it was a nice experience here at the Great Mall location! My sister and I came here initially to order the Puggle Splash (color-changing lemonade mocktail with a platypus and egg figurines) and to try their blooming onion and steak dishes. I took photos of our appetizers and drinks, but forgot to take a picture of our steak dish. Our server Faith was very attentive, kind, and kept checking up on us if we needed anything. Can’t wait to try again!

Our server James was very energetic and charismatic and made sure to check in right as we sat down, even though he had items in his hands! He followed up throughout the meal and speedily got me a new sirloin when the one initially brought to the table was quite overcooked. The food was ok. Bread was delicious, but as mentioned, first steak was very overdone and the rest of the meal was mediocre, especially for a total bill of $80 for 2 people (and that’s with one beverage and no alcohol).

I’ve been here several times and the food never usually disappoints. The steak was good but broccoli they couldn’t get it cooked right. Way to hard and “green” from the garden taste so I asked for cooked broccoli and while at least it was tender, I’ve had microwaved broccoli before and seems like that all they did, didn’t cook it. A Solid Meal and Great Value I recently had dinner here. To sum up my experience: while the food itself was decent, it wasn't exactly a mind-blowing culinary event. However, the excellent service and the very reasonable price point are compelling enough reasons for me to happily return. The Food: Satisfactory, Not Spectacular I ordered the ribeye, and while it was cooked correctly to my requested medium-rare, it didn't possess that deep, char-grilled flavor or exceptional tenderness you might hope for in a top-tier steakhouse. It was perfectly fine and satisfying—a solid, well-portioned meal—but definitely not a dish I'd rave about later. The side dishes were competent, but also standard fare. The Service and Value: The Highlight This is where the restaurant truly shines. Our server was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. They handled our table efficiently and with genuine warmth, making us feel welcome without being intrusive. The quality of service far exceeded my expectations for the price range. Speaking of price, the overall value is excellent. Considering the portion sizes and the quality of the hospitality, the final bill was very affordable compared to other steakhouses in the area. Final Verdict This isn't the spot for a luxurious, special-occasion splurge, but if you're looking for a reliable, good-value steak dinner delivered with genuinely great service, this place is hard to beat. Because of the staff and the affordability, I would definitely go back.

I really missed Outback as it’ has closed down in Singapore. Found this outlet while shopping in the Great Malls. Just to have the special bread and butter was good enough for me. The experience was nostalgic and the bread and butter were perfect. Had a light meal of chowder, burger and Mac and cheese. All food was ok but underwhelming except for the bread and butter, which was exceptional.

I never fully understood why people write bad restaurant reviews until I experienced truly awful service myself. My small group of friends and I went to Outback for dinner, and from the very beginning, the service was mediocre at best. The bartender wasn’t friendly at all — his attitude made it uncomfortable to ask for anything. He barely checked on us and gave off the impression that he didn’t want to be there. The food itself was great for my two friends, but my steak came out undercooked. I asked for “medium well,” but it was served “medium rare.” The bartender never came by to check how the food was, and since I was starving, I just ate it as it was. To make matters worse, this was the second time the same bartender has served us, and the service was just as disappointing as before — which is why I decided to write this review. The first time, I thought maybe he was just having a bad day, but clearly, that wasn’t the case. I went on 10/16/25 around 5:10 PM and sat at the bar top. Side note, are refills included?

Have been going to Outback since the 90’s, in Florida. The Blooming Onion was small, the fries hardly had any cheese or bacon on it, the Caesar salads were white (not green), the ribs (from the sirloin and rib combo) had NO meat on it. Just BBQ sauce and bones. The shrimp were skimpy, The sweet potato looked like it was stepped on… not pleased with the food, especially after paying $40 / person.

Talk about staff being miserable -even the manager didn’t say hello when being sat down Sadly this is the only outback in the area and it’s always slow service not unless you flag the staff down to take your order If you don’t say anything and your sitting there with the menu closed, they will ignore you. so heads up be aggressive on trying to get the attention of the server I only come here for the food which is good but sadly the service here is trash No utensils no hello no welcome no hey we’re short staff today it’s gonna be slow I get it- short staff and it’s slow but letting the customers know goes a long way If your staff is miserable please stay home or at least fake being nice because it really does affect how the food taste

First time there was great, had the filet mignon and was so excited to revisit after. So i did and again ordered a filet mignon. I’m pretty sure i didn’t get a filet mignon though.. i asked a waiter and she told me she thought it looked like one. But it was really thin and kinda dry. I found a chunk of cardboard in my French Onion Soup (See attached image). I had ordered a Salad, French Onion Soup, and Ribeye Steak. But I was so grossed out by the cardboard found in my soup that I couldn't even touch my steak and decided to not even take it home when they offered. I didnt feel comfortable eating anything else made in that kitchen. This was one of the grossest experiences I've had at a resturant. Service: I'll say that the manager and staff were deeply apologetic for what happened with my food, which I did apperciate. But I was already on the fence about this place because of their slow service, but after this, I will not be coming back.

The food was honestly terrible 🤢. The server didn’t seem interested in being friendly or welcoming — he was clearly rushing, even though the place was nearly empty. As for the food, it was by far the worst part. I ordered Victoria’s medium filet mignon with grilled lobster and three sides — it came out burnt and completely tasteless. I also ordered the spinach dip and grilled shrimp appetizer, which were just as disappointing. The drink was no better. I got the rum punch, and it tasted like a liquid lollipop way too sweet. I didn’t even touch it after the first sip. Everything I ordered was just bad. Definitely not coming back.

I want to start out by giving praise to the wait staff (especially JoJo) for his extreme patience and attentiveness. Things went wrong before we arrived. I called to inquire if they still were offering the $14 special. When the young host answered, his mumbling greeting was incoherent. When we arrived, the same hosts greeted us with a nice lengthy blank stare. After moments of silence I finally said.. “for two”. He then proceeded to seat us and tried to sprint away from the table almost crashing into me. Our waiter, JoJo, was attentive and extremely apologetic. He tried his best in every avenue. More and more people came.. and more and more people went unattended to. It was so bad people were refilling their drinks at the bar and grabbing their own straws. People began to leave without paying (granted they probably received a quarter of their meal).. The food I did get was cold, undercooked, and bland. As we sat and waited for about 2 hours, JoJo delivered a nice plate of chicken wings and a half melted strangely cold dessert. Speaking of not receiving food, we didn’t receive even half of our food due to the cooks rage quitting. But don’t worry, the manager had his meal at the bar during all of the madness. *see picture below* the plus side of everyone not getting their food was the bond between patrons over the unbelievably terrible experience. While grace is extended for off days, tonight was simply unacceptable. The manager was unapologetic, unhelpful, and nonchalant. Whoever the owner is should seek new management. One more thing, the dishwasher was not in service so we were served drinks in plastic cups.
