Super friendly and helpful staff, mouth-watering food, and tons of fun! It's a shame I didn't discover it sooner, but better late than never! We really needed a place like this here in Bergamo! I've found my new favorite place!!!
Everything was perfect: the staff was incredibly kind, the atmosphere was super welcoming, and the food was delicious. We went on a Monday night and did the all-you-can-eat option, allowing us to try a wide variety of specialties. We also participated in the quiz night and even won a t-shirt. Highly recommended.
Great evening singing and lots of music together with friends, we ate well but rightly you have to be careful about drinking 😂😂😂😂😂
Perfect service, incredibly kind, friendly, and very sociable staff, they make you feel right at home. The food is amazing, especially the carbonara, but their antipasti are also delicious! Beautiful, welcoming place, so much like the real Rome! You almost feel like you're there!
Roman-style ambiance, a vibrant atmosphere, and a great time with the dinner singing and quiz game. The reception is very gracious, complete with a welcome glass of prosecco and freebies. The staff is truly Roman, friendly, and incredibly personable. The food is fabulous, and spending an evening here is a truly memorable experience. The price is fair; quality has to be paid for; no one gives it away, and here at Caput Mundi, quality is second to none. I've been here twice already, and I'll be back to make it a hat trick.
Hey, I've been to Caput Mundi, and I'll tell you right away: it's a real treat! The appetizer of supplì and meatballs made me immediately realize that this place is no joke: crispy, flavorful, just like when grandma makes them on Sundays. Then came the bucatini cacio e pepe... my goodness! A creamy sauce that sticks to your heart before it even reaches your palate. Just the right portion, bold flavor, pecorino cheese that sings and pepper that dances. In short, between excellent appetizers and superlative first courses, Caput Mundi deserves a big bow: here you really feel Rome, through the food and the atmosphere. If you get the chance, don't let it get away.
This restaurant is a tribute to authentic Roman cuisine. Upon entering, you're greeted with a welcome aperitif, accompanied by friendly staff who immerse you in a warm, family atmosphere. The dishes? Each one better than the last. The carbonara is a masterpiece, and the rigatoni alla vaccinara deserves a round of applause. I'll definitely be back.

I had dinner with friends on a Sunday evening at the recently opened Caput Mundi restaurant in Curno. It's located in a somewhat hidden area, but has ample free parking, which is very convenient. The restaurant is spacious and decorated to evoke the Eternal City. Upon entry, you're greeted with a welcome glass (prosecco or non-alcoholic), given a gift, and then escorted to your table, where you're served a welcome entree. All this is included in the €4 cover charge. The staff is very friendly, professional, and polite. Speaking of the most important thing, the food, there's nothing to complain about...fabulous! To start, we had various appetizers, including supplì, meatballs, and artichokes. They were all delicious. Then we moved on to the first courses. Since there were six of us, we chose different dishes, including the legendary carbonara, gricia, amatriciana, and carciofata. Everyone then tasted them one by one, and we all agreed they were terrific. The desserts were good but the portions were a bit small. Overall, perhaps the prices are a bit high, but if you're having a good evening, that's acceptable. Great experience and highly recommended. The only downside was that there was no karaoke that night, but that'll be an excuse to return.
Excellent Roman dishes, and the welcome gift they bring at the start of the evening is delicious, along with a glass of wine. The €5 cover charge is well worth it, because the best part is the entertainment. I recommend going for dinner with friends and trying the cacio e pepe dinner.

Welcome to Caput Mundi, welcome to Rome! A place with a very refined setting, right from the entrance you feel immersed in the Eternal City, with maids, towers, the She-Wolf and other gems that contribute to making you breathe the Roman atmosphere, as well as the food. The cuisine is really good, the portions are abundant. Obviously quality comes at a price, but perhaps a little too much here, starting with the cover charge.
The food was truly delicious. We opted for the "basic" menu with appetizer, first course, and dessert: the portions, in my opinion, were adequate, but you still left with a little room left in your stomach. The price is a little high, but justified by the evening's innovative format, at least for Bergamo. The only negatives: I would have avoided the Sarabanda during the meal, and the wait for the first course was quite long (we arrived at 8:30 PM, appetizers served at 9:45 PM). Overall, though, it was a fantastic evening! The music was iconic and impossible to ignore, creating a truly engaging, beautiful, and welcoming atmosphere.
Chosen for an evening with friends, found the atmosphere cheerful and very engaging at the party, costs slightly more than normal but the entertainment is part of everything, we ate Roman food reasonably well and the service was attentive and fast, definitely recommended for a carefree evening without too many words.
We went to this place for aperitifs on Sunday evening. The entertainment included karaoke, a classic that always works. The cocktails were good, and the food was very good. I'll be back for dinner, perhaps on a Saturday to try a different kind of entertainment. The receptionists and the staff in general were very kind. I love the plates with the writing on them. You should sell them for home use too!
Wonderful evening, 90s music, excellent food, prices a little high but still worth it. Fun Colosseum evening... not suitable for families with small children! The music is very loud. Service time a little slow. We arrived at 8:30 PM, ordered at 9:00 PM, appetizers arrived at 9:30 PM and the main courses at 10:19 PM. Unfortunately, there is a lack of staff.
The atmosphere is nice but a little cold. The decor is reminiscent of Rome, and the Roman music and videos are a nice touch. We went for lunch to avoid the themed evenings; we prefer a quieter experience. The first and second courses are good; the tiramisu is really too rich in the gourmet version. The zucchini are amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices are medium to high.
Caput Mundi exudes a joyful, homey atmosphere. The location is original and well-maintained, and the waiters are polite and welcoming. The food is plentiful, and the prices are higher than average, but the portion size justifies this (especially for the starters). Ideal for a different kind of evening. We attended the singing evening and had a great time. The cover charge is higher than usual (€5), but it includes a coat check, gift, entree, and a welcome flute, as well as bread. Perhaps this could be specified at the entrance so everyone can enjoy it. Recommended for good food and fun!
We were a group of friends at this restaurant for dinner on Saturday evening, during the "sung dinner" slot. The show and entertainment were beautiful, fun, and engaging, but I believe the place was created first and foremost as a restaurant, and therefore it's right to put food among the top priorities. We booked for 8:30 PM: the appetizers arrived in a reasonable amount of time, about 20 minutes, but the first courses weren't served until 10:30 PM. Absurd. We ordered gricia, amatriciana, cacio e pepe, and carbonara: none of us managed to finish our plates because the dishes were extremely salty, and the bacon was completely charred in every course. We didn't even eat dessert: we took it home because we were no longer hungry. I don't know if we'll return. The interactive experience was fun, but the culinary one is definitely one to forget.
I was shocked by the incredibly high bill at the register, more than €90 for two! The prices were completely out of proportion: €4 cover charge, unjustifiable for a large room in a shopping district in Curno (not even considering the entertainment), a single tiny fried artichoke €7.50!!!, a glass of wine €7, a first course €15 (average quality), a maritozzo €8, and a coffee €2.50!!! These are prices you'd find in a tourist restaurant in front of the Trevi Fountain, not in Curno (BG).
