A wonderful discovery! I went to this restaurant for a birthday lunch. They seated us outside overlooking the lake, and I have to say, despite the temperatures, it was lovely. Super professional staff, excellent food, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Excellent location overlooking Lake Capanna, the owner and staff are extremely kind and attentive. The portions are generous and beautifully presented. There are shaded outdoor tables. I recommend booking and requesting a table outside.

A place for lunch and dinner on the quarry, it doesn't even feel like you're on the outskirts of Milan, with so much greenery, a quiet location, exceptional professionalism, and the owner, Rita, is so friendly; as soon as you meet her, you feel at home. I had porcini mushroom risotto, which was an A+, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, grilled lamb with potatoes, swordfish that tasted like butter, and exceptional desserts. MUST TRY! It's a shame I can only give it 5 stars; it deserves 10! See you soon. Cinzia

An artificial lake where you can fish for trout, the entrance fee is a little expensive in my opinion. €20 per person for a couple of hours, but you do get to keep all the fish you catch, and you can't put a monetary value on the experience. They also have a restaurant if ever you need a quick bite.

Restaurant overlooking the fishing lake. Ample parking, a pleasant interior with plenty of seating. They only serve lunch, so reservations are recommended. Both a la carte and fixed-price menus are available, including: first course + second course with side dish + 1/4 cup wine or water + coffee for €14. Very friendly and professional staff, very quick service. Very good first courses, average second courses. For a casual lunch, I definitely recommend it.

I'm just talking about the lake, which is a bit neglected. Fishermen lack a few comforts, such as a shelter where they can rest while it rains. Near the shore, there are pieces of netting, but The price they charge should reflect better quality... small, expensive maggots.

A bit of confusion about the first course: the risotto was different from the one ordered, but still enjoyable. Second course and appetizers abundant. The place was quite crowded at lunch time, the spaces quite small and we had a large table... Surely the location becomes much more enjoyable in the nice season, considering the outdoor space with additional tables and the view of the lake.

A rustic place, discovered by chance. Comfortable, with knowledgeable, fast, and friendly staff. I had lunch on a workday, taking advantage of the full menu. The penne with pesto was decent (quite tasty), and the Milanese cutlet was overcooked in some places, making it tough, but it improved as it got closer to the bone. I'll try different dishes. Overall, I recommend it for a business lunch.

Nestled in the greenery of the town of Cusago, Lago Capanna is a sport fishing center that also offers a restaurant adjacent to the lake. My partner and I were drawn to an Instagram reel showcasing tempting appetizers, first courses, and second courses, so we decided to give it a try. Upon entering the restaurant, we were kindly greeted by the owner, who escorted us to our outdoor table overlooking the lake. Our expectations were high, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to them. We ordered a selection of cured meats with gnocco fritto and sweet and sour vegetables, along with creamed cod with mayonnaise and squid ink polenta. Despite the inviting appearance, the quality of the cured meats was poor, and the gnocco fritto was rubbery. The cod was also excessively salty. Hoping for a better experience, we continued with the first courses: tagliatelle with wild boar ragù for me and pappardelle with porcini mushrooms for my partner. These too were disappointing, with low-quality, sticky, and seemingly reheated pasta. At this point, we decided not to continue with the main courses or desserts. The only positive aspects of Lago Capanna are the beautiful location and the courtesy of the staff. However, the food quality needs serious improvement.
