Really great service. An old army air corps training field that still holds onto some of it's history. Good service, good food. And even some vintage aviators to chat with while you have breakfast. Awesome.!

Always a go to spot for our family when traveling to NM or CO. Kids enjoy watching the planes fly in and the food is great.

Good service, Great Breakfast at a reasonable price, at the airport. Then hear comes lunch same great service great prices and a new lunch setup served in 10 minutes or it's free. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

What a cool place! Breakfast was really good, and so was the coffee. Restrooms super clean. This place is on the municipal airport grounds, so you can't miss it if you go to the airport.

Great food and service. I flew in for lunch and was very pleased. Food was very tasty, service was over-the-top, and it was full service out on the aircraft parking ramp so they took care of my aircraft. Next time I go flying in the facility, I'll be sure to stop again. The place was busy during lunch, I imagined locals in the area eat there often. It took a bit longer to receive my food but, well worth it.

This was the only close to home cooked food in the area, it was off the beaten path and the food was hot and fresh. The coffee was very weak but the waitress made hot fresh black coffee. Great steaks.

This was a nice place to stop during our long road trip. The food was delicious and the service was great. We were a small party of 3 and had breakfast at this location.

We stopped on for breakfast and it was delicious. If you order the steak and eggs be prepared for a large steak. The eggs were cooked perfectly.

This is a quaint Restaurant/cafe. You can watch planes land, take off, and fill up while you eat a sandwich or breakfast. This place is only open until 2:00pm daily.

They only had 2 cooks on. There was no organization to taking the orders from when people walked in. Also no organization for getting food out in the order orders came in. When the food was brought many items were forgotten. Our special requests such as gravy on the side were ignored. I was charged $1 for strawberries/whipped cream for my waffle, the portion was very small and didn’t come close to being enough for the waffle size. The bacon was delicious. Other people in my party had decent portion sizes. We were never asked how things were after given our food, and had to go up to the counter and ask for our bill. So while it’s probably a really cute little place most days, I think we just hit a very hectic day that could have used some structure. Service was lacking terribly. We watched waitresses walk up to tables with no hello or introductions and just ask “what do you want to drink” without any personality. Bathrooms and restaurant were clean.

I asked are we invisible? I mean it’s a great question considering once we got our food we seemed to disappear to them. I got zero response, no apologies, no pleasantry’s nothing. I said I’m sorry did we do something wrong? Nothing. So you’re not even going to acknowledge me? Nothing. She filled my cup and left my wife hanging. The other waitress came back in from her smoke break and continued to ignore us until I waved her down when I finally got her attention, she apologized but it wasn’t real sincere. She did bring cream and got my wife coffee. She still got a tip. But I only do that because Texas don’t pay enough. Yeah I said it. So what? We felt like outcasts in this place. Prices are great food is tremendous but if you don’t live here you may as well keep moving.

I dont get much excitement while im out on the road but I picked up a load of pumpkins next door to here and decided to stop in for dinner. I ordered the 12oz tbone dinner. It did not flatter me. Walking over I seen 2 meat wagons across the way I had to smell to get in this restaurant. For being big texas that steak was terrible and petite. The filet side had been removed and the little bit on the other side was full of gristle and really tough. I thought it was a joke because they had to a gave me the dullest knife in the drawer. About shanked myself trying to cut some meat off. Idk I guess they dont get the traffic like they used to or something. Better luck next time? Oh they forgot my texas toast and brought out about a splash of steak sauce like we are rationing the stuff. It wasnt a great experience for me.

New. Slow. Understaffed. Ordered grilled chicken plate. Received 1/3 of chicken breast grilled to the atmosphere of a dessert. Not worth the drive to get there.

Can't complain about service here. Because there is non!! Waited outside the door as it clearly says "wait to be seated" after 15 min we went in to ask if we are going to be seated or not. They did not say hallo or anything just, "we are cleaning the table" after that we were shown by pointing from the cash register to come and seat.. waited 5 min after that and no waiter spoke to us, they helped everyone else and were chatting around the cashier. Needless to say I got up and left. Won't be going there ever again, it was my first time because the reviews looked good, it was nothing like the reviews!!!

We sat for 5 plus minutes until my husband got the waitress attention and she yelled at us that they were busy. We waited over an hour for our meal. Three tables after us received their meals plus extra serve of food as we waited. We including my 87 year-old father on his first time out from his senior community due to covid. The food was over cooked and vegetables had sit at length under a warmer. We were passing through the area thus not local. Those served did appear local. Watress did say the meal was with no charge yet I would hesitate to have paid anyway because of the quality. Sad to think as restaurants need customers and we usually tip 2.5 times over what is expected. I do hope the restaurant reads this to learn from.

Waited a looooong time for our drinks and our waitress wasn't the friendliest or most helpful. Food was mediocre and we were overcharged. They were too busy trying to close early (as in 45 minutes early) and turn customers away instead of actually waiting on their tables. I had to take the glass up there and ask for a refill and silverware/napkins that we were never given. To top the trip off my friend went to the restroom and came back to the table and they told him they were closed... I guess it's not even safe to go to the bathroom anymore or you'll lose your table.

I recently visited this restaurant with my service dog. There is a sign on the door requiring that service dogs wear a vest, and that the dog owner must present documentation that the dog is, indeed, a service dog. A quick google search of the ADA laws in Texas assured me that this was not a legal requirement and that staff/owners were not allowed to ask a person with a disability to provide proof that the dog is a service animal. I plan to contact this business to inquire about the sign, but it is plainly in violation of the ADA regulations. I know that there is abuse of this by some unethical individuals who try and pass their pets off as service animals, and I sympathize with businesses trying to curtail this. I was, however, not willing to enter and find myself arguing with the staff if they did, indeed, ask for proof. I hope that they are able to accept this critique and adjust their signage and policies

Closes early. Pilot lounge not available after hours. (which are VERY short) not even a portopotty for transient pilots. No self serve gas. Town does not have ANY non ethanol gas! Courtesy car not available. The ONLY good thing about this airport is a good mechanic.

We didn't get what the menu advertised. My daughter ordered nachos and didn't get salsa or guacamole as advertised. I ordered a local special which is eggs on top of cheese enchiladas and there was no cheese in my corn tortillas.

I would like to rate more than one star, but unlike the hours posted here, they actually close at 8. What pisses me off is the employees watched us park(the open sign was on), and they did not say anything, and just left. Pretty shady doings. Unfortunately the owners probably don't read these, nor care.

So I asked for a refund and she only refunded me half?? Don't go, they are rude liars.

My wife’s order was handled equally bad…she had to ask three times for her pancake that was supposed to come with her meal…finally showed up right before we left. This place may have good food…I can’t tell by my experience and it’s certainly a good looking facility…but unless the help improves I don’t believe I will ever return.
