It was aight for the price. You get 3 mimosas with your buffet. I'm good full and drunk...the tables aren't for high chairs. Make a RESERVATION if you want to sit the same level as your Littles.

We took a risk outside of our normal practice since we're in a pandemic to sit down for a brunch. It was our first time going there and was unaware it's buffet style (which is something we no longer do) simply because we don't eat as much. However, it has a nice atmosphere, food taste good and the staff was wonderful.

Fresh ingredients, huge variety, homemade style recipes, and everything tastes good. They also offer chips, guac, and salsa for brunch. Their staff has always been very friendly. Only thing I am sad that has changed over the years is their cookie recipe. The cookies are fine now, but they use to be addictive good. Their ice cream is delicious. Brunch includes everything you could want, even including a mimosa. I would recommend it. Obviously. Great place to bring a large picky family. Everyone will be happy.

My husband and I hired Blue Mesa Grill to be our caterer for our wedding day, and the food and service were phenomenal. The staff was so kind to everyone at the event and were very mindful of making sure all the guests got their food on time and were happy! We ordered the Fajita Grill Dinner, and it was absolutely delicious. We were also so happy that they were accommodating of our guests who had dietary restrictions. If you are having a wedding and are thinking of hiring someone to cater your event, Blue Mesa Grill is the way to go. Trust me when I say you won’t be disappointed.

We used Blue Mesa as our wedding caterer and it was one of the easiest decisions out of the whole experience. Karen was so friendly and accommodating during our tasting experience. The hardest part was narrowing down our options because it was all so delicious! We chose to do stations with carving stations with the tenderloin and stuffed chicken. At the last minute I added the queso because it’s literally out of this world amazing. People RAVED about the food, said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. They even prepared plates for our vegetarian guests. For the service we got, I feel like the price was incredibly reasonable. They also helped with our cake cutting and did a good job. Their team was a well-oiled machine. Highly highly recommend!

Great brunch spot. I really appreciated and enjoyed the made to order omelet station. The variety of brunch options to choose from was plentiful. I highly recommend the brisket on the carving station. The pineapple fresa and the tarts and red velvet cupcakes as well from the dessert station. Our waiter made sure to check in on us and the staff at the entrance made us feel welcomed when we arrived and thanked us for coming. They also offer mimosa's. I wasn't that impressed. Mine were kinda of flat. The pineapple fresa made up for it though.

It had been a while since I last dined here. I found the menu to be surprisingly inventive; a long way from typical tex mex. This Saturday evening was uncrowded, that added to the nice atmosphere. Drinks were fine, if not great. Waitstaff was a bit inattentive, but not a distraction. The menu will bring me back.

The Mesa Sampler was good and so did the Seafood Mixed Grill. The tortilla chips and the sweet potato chips with salsa was okay. However, the salmon could use some more flavor. The service was friendly but a little slow, even on a Thursday evening.

We wanted TexMex for lunch and this was our first time at Blue Mesa. I wanted a beef enchilada, but they don't have this, only chicken, or a vegetarian enchilada, so I tried the chicken enchilada and a beef taco. The chicken enchilada was good, but the beef in the taco was not seasoned very well and was too dry.

I couldn't get a drink on a ticket separate from a private party without it going through the person that was serving the party. I didn’t want it on the table. And I didn't want it being served. I wanted it feom the bar. A female, I assume was the manager, told me that I couldn't get a drink. I did look later and there were patrons at the bar being served. I'm also a bariatric patient. So my eating habits are different from the rest of the party's. I don't need to explain my medical condition to anyone. I just wanted a drink. 25 minutes later, my drink arrived. My point is... I just wanted a drink, that I paid for, at the bar, by myself! Why is that so difficult. In spite of these issues, I still left 20% tip or my 3 drinks. If it's your policy that a member of a party can't be served on their own tab at the bar separate from the original group, then you have a horrible policy.

We went to Blue Mesa Saturday for our quarterly cousin get together. We sat at the bar waiting for everyone to arrive. The bartender was courteous, funny, and efficient. Cocktails are on the smaller side, and very light on the pour, but that’s expected nowadays unless you go to a dive bar. Which are fun! We reserved a room because the place was packed and loud. We placed our orders. I ordered nachos, waitperson asked what kind. I said chicken. Simple order. Everyone received their orders promptly. I’m pretty patient, waited a little. I asked the young man bringing drinks could he check on my order please. Never saw him again. The young lady that served us came back and someone else at the table asked her. She looked for it and said there was no order placed. What? You asked me what kind I wanted! She placed the order. By the time it was brought out everyone was just about done eating. It was after 8, and we only had the room until 9. I’m giving the restaurant 3 stars only because the manager comped both my husband’s meal and mine. We paid our bar tab. Took half of my meal home. I would’ve given 2 stars because the food was meh, cocktails skimpy for what’s charged. But the manager apologized and made good. The margaritas come in a larger glass. Just a suggestion for margaritas on the rocks - less agave (too sweet), more tequila. I don’t think we’ll be back though.

This place makes you wait until the entire party arrives to seat you. There were many dirty tables and their glasses were dirty as well. However, the two ladies upfront were extremely nice! I can’t speak too much to the service because we arrived after our table was already seated, but the interactions I did have were pleasant. They give a combination of complimentary tortilla chips and sweet potato chips served with two salsas. I must say this was the most satisfying part of the meal. I thought both salsas were well done and full of flavor! Once we ordered the food it wasn’t long before it came out. However, other than the rice, I was not very impressed with the food. I got the corn crusted chicken tender taco and pulled pork taco which was extremely oily. My boyfriend got the Chile relleno-enchilada combo. He too thought the rice and beans were the best part of the dish. Not itching to go back… but they did have some good sounding drinks on their menu that might be worth trying at some point!

--11/13/22-- I liked the food but the service was terrible. The people at the front literally say follow me, rush to the table, and speed away without saying anything else. Nothing prepared not even the server(s) The dishes were dirty and the waiter hands you straws (not in packages) from his hands with no gloves. So everything exposed like covid never happened. It made me laugh though. -Outside of that he was putting things in the general area in between us because he had forgotten who ordered what. -food was great -service was horrible FYI you are going to pay 20% gratitudity for that bad service so he received almost $100 for ruining my Wife brunch. Recently had a birthday brunch with 20 people at this location on a Saturday. We made a reservation two weeks in advance and were told we wouldn’t be seated until the entire party was there. I assumed this was because the place was very busy and didn’t want to assign us servers that could be helping other customers. The place was dead. There was maybe one or two parties of two there when we arrived. There were more of us than the headcount of the entire restaurant but the hostess still refused to seat us. Once we were finally seated, we realized that there would only be one server for all 20 of us. It was chaotic, to say the least. We were told that brunch comes with three mimosas included. Server brings out champagne and you make your own with the delicious juice bar. Great! Unfortunately, each glass of the first round of prosecco came out with ice in it, which means it’s watered down. Gross! We were careful to ask that no ice be added to the remaining glasses. Most of us never received the third mimosa - no biggie. We brought our own cake thinking it would be brought out ready to serve to our guests. Nope! It was handed back to us in the box. Thanks for nothing. At this point, nothing else unusual could happen, except the automatic 20% tip. Message to Blue Mesa: Staff appropriately and pay your employees a suitable living wage.

The place has potential, but a few things could be improved. The street tacos were a bit dry they really need a green mild spicy sauce and some onions and cilantro to bring everything together. Right now, it’s just meat and tortilla, which feels a little plain. The chips tasted a bit stale, and the blue drink was just okay. Horrible service, and it was our first time at this place. So not recommended and won't be back. Saw the server once and wasn't able to get the drinks we ordered. I would put no stars if possible.

Very odd experience for a Friday night. We waited 10 minures to be greeted. Then the night continued with a slow and uninterested server. Manager with an unkempt appearance and cold food. Do not recommend.

Only 3 tables with people we should have known it was no longer a good place to eat. Food was served room temperature. While the server was nice. He was not attentive and couldn’t remember anything! Like multiple trips back and forth and still didn’t get things remotely correct. Like a request for salt or more chips or salsa. Blue Mesa has always been a treat since I live out of town. Sadly I would not return or recommend. How are nachos served cold? Especially with an empty restaurant on a Friday night.

Badly organised for thanksgiving. They managed to overbook their reservations so ended up with over an hour wait for what turned out to be pretty basic food. Poor service and no atmosphere. Not much else to say. Poorest place i have been to in a long time.

Food here is okay, music is incredibly loud, service could be improved, our server Casalea forgot our drinks and essentially left us alone most of the time, hardly saw her passing by Overall, food was worth it, but there’s room for improvement

Very bad customer service!! Half of the restaurant was reserved for private parties, so we could only sit in one area of the restaurant . It might have been 3 other tables occupied, but they all shortly left. We were the only party left in the area. Our waiter was slow and forgot orders and never came back to check on us. And the food was not as good as it use to be. Will not be back.

cute atmosphere! decent drinks. food was alright. nothing special. server sarah didn’t seem to care at all about her tables. she ended up somewhere in the back rolling silverware while we were eating. we were wondering where she went til we saw her come back with her stack of silver. didn’t even communicate that we were transferred to a new server until we saw her walking out the front door. definitely will not be back

Went to have dinner with friends. The place should have been closed for the Christmas parties they hosted. The dining area was open . The service was horrible the food was rushed and cold. We couldn't ask for anything because it would take to long to get or the server acted like she was way to busy. All the staff was only focused on the parties. So the place should have not been seating people. The manager behind the bar was rude had a chip on his shoulder. My carne asada was chewy it was like rubber. Overall terrible experience and no tip was left. I could have served the table myself. And again Poor management. The restaurant should have been closed for private event. No dining seating. Waste of 70 dollars and a terrible dinner.

The Addison location is FILTHY! The food on the buffet is NOT fresh. The service is awful. We went in today, asked for a booster seat and a high chair. We were brought two booster seats. I went to the buffet to get food for my toddlers. The food looked old and unappealing, but we were hungry and were going to push through. It took the waiter more than 12 minutes to come to our table. When he got to us, he apologized for taking so long, asked my niece what she wanted, then walked off while I was trying to give him my drink order. He offered no explanation, but he went over to another to assist them. We left.

My first time here… but I won’t recommend this place…I’m not coming back… expensive for the quality of food. Yes, theirs is a lot of choices but it doesn’t match what you’re paying. Rice under cooked, beans taste from can, mashed potatoes no taste ..mosquitos by the chips area… my daughter normally loves rice and beans well she didn’t like them instead she only ate a tortilla and got charge $13 and $30 for adults 🤦🏻‍♀️ just not worth it.
