Neon Kitten is a gorgeous stop on your nightly rounds in Deep Ellum. I loved everything we were able to sample on our trip, the bar staff, wait staff and manager are sure to make your visit feel like you're part of the family.

DELICIOUS!! Atmosphere was so fun and hype, and the food even impressed my very hard to impress brother in law who couldn’t stop raving about everything. Cocktails were delicious too. The service at first was odd and slow, but then the owner Bob came and took care of us and it was only up from there. His suggestions were great and we loved talking to him. I love how they cheer everyone on as they walk in. Would definitely come back!!

This is a top ten establishment in dfw! I swear I've live in many places. I've visited NY city, Chicago, DC, Miami, Orlando, Belgium, and this would be my top 10. It's a vibe. The anime friendly environment. The owner is a gem. The staff...chefs kiss. The food is under priced for the quality and authenticity..hats off to the chef...best bar...

Genuinely enjoyed this spot. Their cocktails and appetizers were very creative and a hit. we also really enjoyed the staff.

We had an awesome time the Bar Staff was great and the dumplings were delicious. We had the pumpkin, shrimp and siu mai.

Went with some friends and they accidentally overbooked but this ended us up in the back speak-easy part of the bar and I’m glad! The bar tenders were phenomenal! They were very attentive and creative with their drinks which were really good. Unlike the front of the bar, there was no menu, which made the experience that much more exciting. The food was also delicious and aesthetically appealing! Despite the hiccup with getting us a table, they were able to remedy the situation with a quickness and professionalism. Great customer service 👍🏻

I have been frequenting and playing at this bar for over a decade! Reno's has always been one of the most badass dive bars and local music venue for ever in Deep Ellum! Great drinks, staff, managers, atmosphere and if you're in a band the back room acoustics are awesome! This has been one of our homes for a very long time and I recommended to everybody considering that Deep Ellum is dying! It's one of the few places that is left that loves its patrons and music!

Amazing place on the edge of the deep. Good drinks, great staff, and a live venue in the back! Best cold cheap drinks there is! Definitely the last real metal bar left, laid back and no BS. Apparently the building used to be a strip club, which may explain all the bras and dollas. Or maybe that just happens.

Know what to expect. It’s loud metal blaring and a small space. Great darts, pool, foosball and Pac-Man/galaga. If you want some beers and good drinks without any “fancy” stuff this place is great. Not a kids place where you can drink. Hang out, get loud, have fun.

I am not even a bar person! But man, this place us fun. A lot of good and social people come and hang out here, and you've got everything you need to have fun. Pool tables and arcade machines and sex toy vending machine, just to name a few, lol! Bartenders are absolutely amazing folks, and the drinks are reasonably priced. Love the atmosphere and the vibes. Come have a few drinks and have fun.

First time here. Wasn't very busy late during the week. Drinks only, they have darts and pool tables. The adult vending machine is a fun thing in the corner. Make sure to sign a dollar and hang it on the bar!!

Dive bar?  Reno's takes your dive bar and ups you one, or maybe two.  Hanging above the bar are dozens of bras supposedly donated by avid female patrons.  And a bazillion (that's a scientific term) dollar bills with various signatures and graffiti.  It's pretty spectacular. The bar is standard dive bar black/brown. The bathroom is, eh clean but not so pretty. The main attraction is the many bands which play, although I've liked the music (on demand) playing on the jukebox. Amber is the bartender Saturday and Sunday nights. She's quick to serve you, professional, friendly and has a beautiful smile. Every time I've come here it's been a different experience. FYI I recommend dressing in black, and perhaps wearing a baseball/golf hat.

We got really lucky eating here Sunday evening. There was no wait at all. In fact, the place was empty. Usually I'd take that as a bad sign, however, the food and service was great. My favorite was the morel shrimp dumplings and salmon sushi. Delicious!! Service was great and friendly. It was good, but I doubt I'll come for a second visit since there was only 2 memorable food items for me; but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try it.

Parking is a beast in the area although the parking lot wasn't too far a walk. We actually passed the restaurant since there wasn't a sign. When you walk in you're greeted by all the customers and staff members so forget about shying away, there's no time. We had outdoor seating but it was rather cozy and great for hanging out especially if your party is a little louder. We ordered their infamous cocktail served in a Hello Kitty. So cute, we got our IG worthy photos and Snaps for days. Servers were nice. We ordered a little bit of everything. The cocktails were definitely the main attraction and food was for eating during or after a few drinks.

Neon Kitten’s presentation is on point! Their staff gave us a warm welcome and were super friendly. The dim-sum has a nice twist to it and their beef tataki is delicious, but their drinks and sushi were just ok. The problem was their ventilation system was awful - by the end of the night we were choking from the smoke from their grill (to be fair, I have asthma, so that’s probably why it affected me so much). Not sure if they were having an issue with their ventilation system or if it’s always like that. I would recommend checking them out, but if you have asthma you might want to sit in their outdoor patio area.

Went for their Valentines day event and the music was extremely loud; to the point we had to yell to talk. The food was good but I not the best compared to other locations. The drinks were strong and would definitely recommend as a drinking spot if the drinks weren’t so expensive. The steak was my favorite part of the food.
