My girlfriends and I love this place, and so does my son. It has a very beautiful and a really quaint atmosphere not to mention the lovely Patio. The food has always been amazing and the service has always been top-notch. I’ve been there five times, and the food and service have always been consistent. I would definitely recommend to friends and relatives. My only complaint would be that when they serve soup is that They bring you a bowl that’s only half full and the bowls are Super tiny. I definitely did not like that. For the prices, they need to bring you a full bowl of soup.
Went for Valentine's lunch which was a fixed price service. Plenty of options, and included 3 items. Everything was absolutely delicious and really filling. Our group consensus was that we could have actually shared dishes! The marshmallows soup is actually goat cheese formed into the shape and color of marshmallows in a tomato soup. The crab soufflé was packed full of real crab. My entire group thoroughly enjoyed all of their dishes. Our server was absolutely delightful and extremely accommodating, especially since we had a 2 year old in tow! Highly recommend for any occasion.
The all time best place for soufflé in Dallas! Wow is the perfect word to describe your experience: incredible savory soufflés, delicious appetizers and wine. The ham and Gruyère soufflé was out of this world. The basil tomato soup with cheese soufflé pillows also very delicious. Their quant atmosphere is also very charming and warm. Rise is a 10/10!
Savory soufflés were delicious and dessert soufflés were also great. I loved visiting this unique original Dallas restaurant. The French inspired decor was cool and we got to sit at the bar and watch soufflés get whipped up. The waiter provided excellent service for our lunch visit.
Went to lunch on Monday @ 2pm , the restaurant was packed ! They quoted a 15 min wait / with wall to wall items and decor all for sale. Akil, our server very personal and extremely professional.. describe the daily specials and the chili soufflé called out my name( I’m usually the last one to order ) Of course we all order desserts 2 Grand Marnier 1 chocolate! As we were waiting on our meals a very nice lady approached us and asked if we knew why our table was special ( I thought she was referring to my stylish attire or my favorite embroidered winter coat:but apparently it is George and Laura Bush favorite table when they come in and dine !! My soufflé was delicious and very filling but I had to save room for dessert. Definitely worth the wait/ ask for Akil . There were several books written by the Bushes on the shelves..
This is one of my favorite places to go. The staff is always so warm, welcoming and appreciative of your business. It truly reminds me of being in Paris. The servers are always first class and take the time to communicate the specials with such detail. The food is always spot on. If you never had a souffle before I definitely recommend trying it. They are not very filling so I recommend a soup or salad to begin with I had the creamed spinach souffle which is now one of my favorites. My friend had the southwest chicken. The southwest chicken wasn't spicy even though they advertise that it is. The ambiance is such a wonderful vibe. I highly recommend this place.
Incredible. Was in Dallas for lunch, had never tried a Souffle before. Their raspberry souffle with the chocolate sauce was a fantastic addition after their ham sandwich and tomato bisque soup- filling, full of flavor, and a food I will definitely try again! The goat cheese was a welcome addition! The atmosphere is very private and the staff excellent. They treated us with a service that is often not found these days!
I am not a soufflé expert, but from what I understand, read, and have experienced, this place hits the mark. I love French cuisine and was not disappointed by my experience here. The French onion soup was a balanced umami bomb, jamon and gruyere soufflé rich, and dessert offerings decadent. Maybe fast the day before dropping in for this treat
The souffles in Paris were spectacular, so we found rise and wanted to see if we could experience the same in Dallas. Ordered the Marshmallo soup to start, and it was really delicious. It was very tasty and hit the spot on a chilly day. I ordered Jambon & Gruyère and my wife had the Southwest Chicken. The chicken was good but has a little kick to it. The Jambon was really good and I liked it more than the chicken. We finished our late lunch with bread pudding souffle, which was gone quickly. It was that good! Highly recommend trying this restaurant. We will be back!
Our first visit, loved the homey French cottage feel, and the soufflé was absolutely amazing. I had the crab, girlfriend had the duck soufflee amazing savory flavor yet so light and airy. We also shared the raspberry and apricot souffle for dessert. Apricot had a bite which was nice, raspberry sweet and pink. Highly suggest visiting, relaxing and living in the moment.
The souffle are magnificent! The service leaves much to be desired. We had to ask for everything, our waiter never came around past delivery of our initial drinks. Food was delivered by other people and we had to wait a while on our check, even after asking a couple of times. The restaurant itself feels tight; not a lot of space to move about and a lot of fussy stuff everywhere. Makes you feel like you're in an overdone grandma's house rather than a French chateau
Party of three who had never had a proper souffle arrive and departed very satisfied. We had 5 different souffles on our visit. The escargot for a starter, which was very garlicky and masked the goat cheese well. Then we all ordered separated souffles as the individual entrees: the truffle infused mushroom, the herb and spicy sausage, and the duck special. The mushroom souffle was my absolute favorite! Lastly, a raspberry souffle for dessert which was light and tasty. Decor was super cute and welcoming, not too loud so you are able to have conversations with others.
The Experience at Rise Dallas was Incredible! The Service by Brian was excellent and the food was very good. The Fresh bread was delightful& I Had the Marshmallow soup— which was a pleasant experience in itself, the Duck Savory Soufflé (Was prepared very well but didnt care for the Jam/Sauce, it seemed to aim for more french or german but almost played as chinese because of the jam) and i finished with the chocolate soufflé . It came out looking good but was expecting more decadent chocolate and the sauce seemed simple—tasted pretty light in chocolate flavor and i did get a bite that tasted more eggy then chocolate soufflé maybe wasnt executed to perfection. I had a glass of Cab Franc, it was good but i did have to ask for a wine glass as they served it in a short cup filled to the brim and i do like to enjoy the scent and taste of the wine. All in all was still a good experience but might order differently next time when i try their other locations.
The spinach soufle was good, but not what I expected for the price. Overall just seemed lacking in flavor. Its texture was homogenous and airy, but but the foam did not melt in my mouth, and was not particularly creamy or rich. My date did barely ate any of his escargot soufle, stating that it had a strange chemical flavor. The service was very authentic to France; the sever took quite a while to check in on us. Finally, the wait list system is somewhat strange, and the table was small. I did like the decor.
I was there with a friend from out of town this past Saturday Feb 22. It was so cramped in waiting area. Hostess was rude. Finally was seated. The server (male) was rude and service took forever. It took almost 20 minutes just to get a coke and glass of wine. Then the app came out. The steamed artichoke….almost refrigerator cold….its was awful. The server did not check on us one time. We ordered a chocolate soufflé for dessert and cancelled it after being so annoyed with the service and appetizer, and he said “oh so you want to cancel that too?”….as if I should have kept and paid for the frozen artichoke. I doubt I’ll be back. Spread the word. Not worth the hype that’s for sure. The regular soufflé was fine. It was a soufflé. No big deal. Not worth the experience I had at all and it was embarrassing to have out of town guest of mine have this experience. Do not take your guests here or book large parties. Embarrassing. They seat large parties by the front entrance waiting area and people waiting will be hovering all around your table. Seriously don’t bother.
We visited on a Wednesday In December 2025 at 3:30pm as part of a party of nine. I ordered the Duck à l’Orange soufflé, which was extremely disappointing. While I am relatively new to soufflés, as a home cook I am familiar with how a properly prepared soufflé should look and behave. This dish was mushy and lacked any structure; the interior had not set at all and appeared undercooked. Rather than being savory, it was warm, shapeless, and unappetizing. The flavor was so subtle that I could not identify a clear flavor profile, and if eggs were used, they did not set properly. There was nothing appealing, firm or soufflé-like about the dish. I had hoped the raspberry soufflé for dessert would redeem the experience, but it was equally disappointing. Unfortunately, the most enjoyable part of the entire meal was the small six-inch loaf of bread provided for the entire table of nine guests. Given the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I was genuinely surprised, as what I was served was far from enjoyable.
My second visit: I was very surprised by my recent visit. The menu showed savory soufflés priced around $22–$26. I ordered the crab soufflé, which was not listed anywhere on the menu, and the server also didn’t mention the price. Only after the bill came did I find out it was $36. I don’t mind paying for quality food, but prices should be transparent. If something is off-menu or market-priced, it should always be disclosed before the order is placed. This experience made the whole dinner feel misleading, and that’s unfortunate for an otherwise nice concept. My first visit: This place is a gem. The soufflés are light, airy, and packed with flavor—easily the best I’ve ever had. And the famous marshmallow soup? Absolutely lived up to the hype—rich, creamy, and unforgettable. The cozy French-inspired atmosphere makes it feel special without being stuffy, and the staff are warm and attentive. Prices lean upscale, but both the quality and experience make it more than worth it. A must-visit in Dallas if you want something memorable 👌🏻👌🏻
