I definitely need to leave a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review for this place. Christina is a wonderful waitress and definitely made our visit here a 5 stars. She is very friendly, affable, and professional. The food is amazing! I highly recommend the Chicken Fried Chicken and the Chicken Pot Pie. Excellent visit and we will definitely come back with friends and family!
Big shout out to Ivan, lovely service and brought all our food out quick since we only had a bit of time to spare. Loved everything we had and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
Great food and service! The fried green tomatoes were delicious! They were thick sliced and crispy! The bourbon Sriracha meatloaf was a great choice as well. It was well seasoned and the little bit of a kick from the Sriracha sauce was a great finish. I wanted to try the collard greens but wasn't sure about adding them until the waitress said how great they are, and she wasn't wrong! The service was wonderful as well.
Great local spot !!! It took me a while to make it out here for the 1st time and I should have come sooner. 1st of all the service was amazing The food was great and we loved the mac and cheese and the biscuits are awesome. It's home cooking with a gourmet twist. Nice and clean resturant plus very reasonably priced. We got the 8 piece with sides and dessert for a party of 3 and it costed under $50. I haven't enjoyed a meal like this in a very long time. I can't say enough good things .... a must try
The best staff serving up amazing fried chicken, possibly the biggest and best pork chop ive ever had!! Everything was delicious, the pimento cheese fritters, Brussels sprouts, the biscuits and gravy!! Magnifique!!
The staff was wonderfully pleasant and the bartender (I imagine he was new because he asked a lot of questions) the service was great the chicken and waffles were delicious juicy and full of flavor. They do offer military discount which of you read my reviews know that is a huge plus for me. Thank you #Street'sFineChickenOnCedarspringsRd I'll be back when ever I'm in Dallas 😁
In town for the Riverfront Jazz Festival and was looking for something good to eat. Photos from others sealed the deal. Jean is amazing!! Since this was my first visit, he took the time to give us the run down on the menu. All of Jean's recommendations were spot on. We chose the chickarones as a starter. If you like pork skins, you'll love these fried chicken skins tossed in chile lime seasoning. I ordered the pork chop with the brie mac and cheese. My husband ordered the chicken fried chicken with black eyed peas. Both were excellent. To top of the meal we each got a message a macaron ice cream sandwich. We're both stuffed but looking forward to trying other items on the menu.
Never disappoints. I'm from Houston and I've tried chicken fried chicken with delicious biscuit and Brussel sprouts..chefs 😘. Service was so great also. Thank you
You want this! I’ve tried their chicken sandwiches and fried chicken. It’s crack!! The Brie Mac n cheese is EVERYTHING! I don’t even like Brie! The deviled eggs are not traditional, and the slice of jalapeño is a kiss of spicy heaven. OMG, the collard greens reminded me of an old lady cooking Sunday dinner on Saturday! So darn good!!!! When you get the fried green tomatoes, you want to squeeze the charred lemon on it and dip it in the remoulade. YOU WANT THIS!! Trust!!!
From the moment my date and I Alec in the door we felt welcomed. Our waitress was polite, knowledgeable of the menu, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. We chose the Peri Peri, 1 order with 2 thighs, and 1 order with 1 breast. The sauce and chicken were delicious. We will definitely be back. The deviled eggs were also a great delight. I will maybe a pound to be back soon!
This is a hidden gem for many but a fan favorite for some. If you like chicken you can have it in so many different ways. Service: My waiter Jean was excellent service, superior greeting, wonderful explanation of the menu and service with a smile. He was willing to answer all questions I might have had and provided great suggestions. There seem to a great working staff and everyone seem to not hesitate to assist. Food: If I didn't like chicken, they definitely made me a chicken lover. I tried their pork chop as well and was straight ridiculous delicious. Great appetizers, entrees and desserts. Unfortunately, I did not try any drinks but they had a great bar selection. The food came out nice and fresh and with so much great flavor on the food that I could have really had eaten seconds if I had room. Just delicious. Overall: I truly recommend visiting this place and going back for seconds or thirds or even forths... lol! Great atmosphere, loved that the music was at a moderate level so the guest did not have to talk loud or scream at each other. Parking was not too bad in the back of the building and the bathroom was varely clean. Can't wait to visit again and wish them well in the future.
This is the best fried chicken i have ever had from a restaurant. Hands Down. I got the 3 tender plate, which came with 1 side (Brie- mac and cheese) and I paid a little extra for a second side (cheddar grits with tabasco) , it also came with a buttermilk biscuit. See photo below. The food was so good and it was a large amount of food! I'm an eater so I can usually clean my plate no matter the amount but this is all comfort food so I had to bow out. I did take the remainder home though. The atmosphere was awesome, very chill. The service was absolutely amazing!! Everyone was cool after. We didn't wait long at all for our either, it came out hot and fresh which tells me those guys know what's up and how to do it efficiently. We will definitely be going back, without a doubt! Highly highly highly recommend stopping in for some chicken! They also have grilled chicken fyi.
Monday came and I didn’t feel like cooking dinner so I stopped at Street’s for a quick bite. I was greeted immediately and seated right away. My waitress was attentive and kept my drink refills coming. The chicken fried steak was amazing! Just the crust alone knocked my socks off! The collard greens were delicious too! Can’t wait to go back and try more
Place is fantastic and the food was great! The people were great and plesent but the good did take 45 min from order to arrive to our table. The food it self seemed to be very high quality and the Mac and cheese is a must try. portions were wonderful for the price. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area
I came with a group of friends and it was a busy night, but we were still seated relatively quickly and the service was great although a little slow. We started with the chicarones (fried chicken skins) and the chicken fried bacon and the fried green tomatoes. I had the bourbon sriracha meatloaf with mashed potatoes and a biscuit. One of my friends had the slow roasted pork chop with Mac and cheese. Service was a little slow as stated but they DID warn us up front that it would be slow. Overall we were pleased with the delicious food.
I cannot recommend this place enough. After a long day we randomly came across it and were SO GLAD we decided to eat here. The service was excellent and the food was even better. We got a little bit of everything to taste, our favorites were the chicken fried chicken, the chicken pot pie, and the meatloaf. (10/10 biscuits too) Seriously, if you’re considering eating here, do it. We will definitely be back!
Had a restaurant to flake on my bday reservation so had to find somewhere else. Remembered how much I loved this spot so it was a done deal. Me and my large party were welcomed and taken care of very well. I recommend and order the Chicken fried chicken with either the mash potatoes or the Brie Mac n cheese. Yes, they have hot sauce available if that's your thing like it is mines. The chickarrones were a hit as well! We ordered them for all of our guests. I only gave the service 3 stars due to confusion about who would be our waiters and a guy waiter who obviously did not want to work our table for whatever reasons. Another female waiter was gracious enough to stay past her shift to ensure our food and drink orders were taken and processed. Otherwise great vibes, delicious cuisine, and fun times were had. Thanks for everything Streets and we definitely will be back!
So I picked up a order from street fine chicken downtown so I wanted to go check them out for myself. I must say the chicken was very moist and seasoned 🤤. The only take away were the biscuits they were dry and hard 😔 but overall we enjoyed it. I will be trying the downtown one the next time.
First off let me say the service here was impeccable. Aileen was the best, great personality and perfect timing. Now on to the food... Wow!! We had the little devils (deviled eggs), fried green tomatoes (the sauce is a remoulade and although not a traditional remoulade it was so good I could've eaten it with a spoon), and fried pimento cheese fritters (like little fried balls of heaven). For dinner the kids had sandwiches all of which where exceptional from bun to condiments, the fried chicken was so tender and juicy with a perfect crust (who doesn't love fried chicken skin??), the peri peri chicken was off the chain good and something a little different, and don't sleep in that meatloaf because I was super impressed!! The sides didn't disappoint either, Maple glazed Brussels and those jalapeño cheese grits, I could've made a meal just out of that. Go here!! The prices are super reasonable, the service 👍and the food was perfect!
Outstanding! Best Chicken Fried Steak ever! The jalapeños gravy spicy, but delishous. Fried chicken a hit, chicken fried chicken, super! The greens, grits, mashed potatoes, are all 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Our server was sweet and accommodating. The greeter was friendly.. can't go wrong here. 😋
A clean and well run diner that serves some of the juiciest fried chicken I've ever had. We went for breakfast and came out absolutely overstuffed! The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with flavor throughout. You're gonna want to take a nice nap after this meal.
Amazing I had the Chicken fried steak my lady had the chicken & Waffles, mac n cheese, and collard green. Yo real talk almost needed a wheelbarrow to get back to the car lol. The waiter was funny and definitely an asset to this restaurant. He is a mixologist. We will be visiting again. Great vibe and atmosphere. The DJ was on point! Great eats and tunes to help you roll to the car. Lol
I came in at 4:30 on a Saturday it was half pack I got my food less than 10 minutes of me ordering the fatherless he was excellent I didn’t leave a piece of crumb. I received excellent service and I really felt like it was my family serving me. Thank you Sarah and Caleb for making this one of my favorites places to eat at. Anytime friends or family come in town I’m bringing them here.
This place was buzzing when I got there and I definitely see why! The service was amazing, I really appreciate the fact that water was brought out before anyone had to ask for it and the server recommendations were 10/10. If you’re craving some chicken definitely go here. Chicken tenders were really good and their Mac and cheese was even better!! Will for be coming back here. Oh and they had $4 mimosas 😍
I ❤️ this place! I really only eat chicken when it's fried or seasoned to perfection, and this didn't disappoint. I had the lollipops, sweet potato and kale hash, and I think the goat cheese grits--all amazing. Somehow, I also managed to eat half of the white chocolate and macadamia nut bread pudding that was so deliciously memorable, I didn't need to look back at the menu to remember the key ingredients. I loved the vibe (dance music) and the staff was some of the friendliest I've ever encountered. Highly recommend to locals to frequent!
We had incredible service and amazing food. The waiter was very informative and friendly in helping me make my choice on what to order. The chicken fried chicken was crispy and moist. The pork chop ... MAN! That butter! It was the best pork chop we have ever had. I got the goat cheese grits, and they were perfectly creamy. There was a very quaint relaxed atmosphere. If I lived closer, we would visit frequently. Highly recommend!
The food here is awesome. The service has always been good. The restaurant is nice, however this area of oak lawn is a little shady. The parking in the back is fine. You kust have to walk around to the front passed the dumpsters
Kenneth my server was really helpful in explaining the menu to me (single, out of town visitor). I got the salad with fried chicken (don’t laugh at me, I know you’re not supposed to get salad at places like this—but it was good! The dressing and goat cheese rounded it out nicely 👌) but will definitely be back for the other options like chicken fried steak, meat loaf etc 😻
One of the best chicken places on the strip. Spotless and very efficient and friendly. Chicken takes a while to get...but it's oh so worth it! And the sides are works of culinary art themselves. Comfort food to highest level. Management couldn't be more accommodating and friendly. Was sad to see Black eyed pea close but glad they kept it with Streets.
I came here with some friends and the food was superb. The chicken was well seasoned and the Mac and cheese was divine. The biscuit also was really good - it tasted like it had a dab of honey on it. The portions were very generous; therefore I was easily able to split my meal into two. The service was also really great. I can’t wait to come back to this location. While I didn’t order the fries and they were given to me by accident I’m glad I had an opportunity to try them because they were delicious. Also depending near oak lawn has street parking or parking available behind the building.
Omg. This place was so good. Our server Kenneth was the best. I enjoyed everything we ordered. The Mac & cheese was top tier. I enjoyed the half chicken and waffle. This place is a 10 out of 10 and I highly recommend. I enjoyed the mimosas as well. If your in Dallas make sure you add this to your list. Parking is conveniently located behind the building.
Everything about this restaurant is a plus!! The atmosphere, the employees, the food, the decorations, they are all awesome! I enjoyed my visit here with my family. I love the paintings on the outside of the building of the chickens in famous pieces of art. The food was exceptional and I can’t wait to go back to try other menu items. The Mac and Brie cheese was my favorite! Delicious! Parking is behind the building
This place is amazing!! I love the fried chicken but the star of the dinner was the chicken pot pie it was so crispy on top and the soup part was super yummy and felt so homemade. The bread is honey buttered and it was so delicious!! 10/10 will be back it was all reasonably priced, the service was great and the food is the best ❤️
Excellent, excellent, excellent elevated soul food! Came here on a Monday night, so it was quiet, the service was attentive and quick and the food was B O M B! Definitely try the Pimento Fritters and the Deviled Eggs - dangerously delicious. Our chicken was crunchy, juicy and tasty, the grits were creamy, and the brussel sprouts didn’t disappoint either. I’ll definitely be back to try those ice cream sandwiches and the brunch menu!
My recent visit was an absolute treat for the taste buds. Specializing in fried chicken paired with waffles and boasting the best Mac and Cheese with Brussels sprouts, this eatery is a haven for comfort food enthusiasts. The star of the menu undoubtedly was the fried chicken and waffles. The chicken was flawlessly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, perfectly complemented by the fluffy waffles. Pimento cheese bites with the sweet chili sauce were amazing as well. Now, let’s talk about the Mac and Cheese and Brussels sprouts—it was pure indulgence. The creamy, gooey cheese combined with the tenderness of the pasta was heavenly. In addition, the Brussels sprouts had a sweet delicious providing a perfect balance of flavors. Might I add the Mimosas were 5 bucks yall!
This is the best place I've ever eaten. I'm from the Midwest and we don't have food like this back home. Found this place on our first day in town and came back 2 more times because it's so good. Tried the chicken dumplings, chicken friend steak, and a ton of the sides. Never had better buttermilk biscuits in my life. Everything was unbelievably good. The service when we ate in was amazing, and when we door dashed this to our hotel, it was just as good as when we ate in. Please open a location in Michigan lol.
Fried chicken is prob my favorite food, so when I found the glowing recommendation for Street’s, I knew I had to try it. It is the absolute bomb! The Brie Mac and cheese and the garlic green beans were icing on the cake. Great service and atmosphere. So good I came back two nights later for the pork chop. That, too, did not disappoint! Run, don’t walk to Street’s and treat yourself right!
TL:DR: Best southern fried chicken i’ve ever had and great staff. Just had an amazing time at Street's Fine Chicken in Cedar Springs! The host and our waiter Ken, were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Now, let's talk chicken. Holy smokes, it's the best southern fried chicken ever! Made to order, piping hot, crispy skin, juicy meat, and seasoned to perfection. I literally saw steam coming out—it was that fresh! Also their biscuit has to be one of the best biscuits I have ever eaten. Imagine if Babe's and Church's biscuit had a baby. The fries were a bit meh the first time, but gave it another shot, and they were on point—fresh and crispy. Mashed potatoes were smooth and had a wonderful consistency. Good flavor too. My friends enjoyed all of the sides and would highly recommend the mac & cheese. Prices are fair, and the place is conveniently located. Street's Fine Chicken is my new go-to for some dank fried chicken! 🍗👌
I was hearing about this particular restaurant from a few friends and decided to give it a chance. As my appetizers I tried the Fried Green Tomatoes and the Chicken Fried Bacon both were superb!! I ordered the 2pc meal and ordered an extra side of their mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was GREAT this is sometimes hard to find and I appreciated every bite that I could handle. the fried chicken is very good and the portions are so large I could not finish it.Louis was a great server even the manager Ken came over and checked on us. I will definitely be back to this restaurant.
This is such a great place!! Friendly staff, even the cooks come out sometimes to ask you about your food, great drinks and food selection, but overall, some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. The biscuits, green, and green beans taste so good! The green beans are cooked top perfection (not too soft or hard). Great surrounding community, shopping areas, and other restaurants.
Lord, what took us so long to try this place?! I’ve walked by many times but on this particular afternoon we were walking with a different destination in mind. We caught a waft of the scent of fried chicken and we stopped in our tracks. We walked a few more steps then paused again. Let’s check out their menu… So many great sounding dishes to choose from!! There were two seats at the bar, so we sat down, were greeted warmly and promptly by Sarah and proceeded to have one of the best meals we’ve eaten in a long time! We only tried two main entree dishes and sides, but know we need to come back to try some of the other things! I had the chicken-fried chicken with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. The Mac was delicious! Just the right amount of cheese and a little crunch without being too creamy or heavy. The chicken was perfectly battered and juicy inside with a crisp coating. Now for the pork chop! It was huge and well-seasoned and the green beans were savory. There was a slightly sweet sauce that topped the pork chop that was also really good! They obviously have a good formula for great food, good service and casual, comfortable decor. We had just come from New Orleans that day and this place felt like a taste of the Big Easy. And what a taste it was! Really looking forward to trying the Bourbon Sriracha meatloaf next time!
Dallas Hot Chicken Salad 🥗 🍗 • Stumbled upon one of my top salads while travelling. Opt’d for the D’Eagle Salad and added fried hot chicken. The mix of the fresh greens, cheese, bacon, hot chicken and the jalapeño ranch dressing 🤌🏻 • Other than water, I had to try one of the frozen cocktails in the slushie machine. I did the skinny marg and again, one of the best I have had. Chatting with the bartender and she said that was her doings. Bravo ma’am 👏🏻 will def be back if I am in the area again.
I had a very pleasant experience here. The service was the stand out which was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and organized with the chicken theme throughout the area. The presentation of the food was really well plated. The dessert was delicious and was also a standout. I had the fruity pebbles ice cream sandwich. The only thing that I didn't enjoy was the slow cooked pork chop. It was a thick cut but the meat was over cooked and dry.
Went looking for some home cooked style food, and boy, did we hit the jackpot. First time trying fried green tomatoes, tomatoes had a slight tang, and the crust was perfectly seasoned and fried. The fried chicken was one of the best I've had. The chicken was moist and had a touch of sweetness due to the brine. The cheesy grits were definitely cheesy. Wife had the macaroni which was made with brie..💥💥 Almost forgot the biscuits, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and topped with honey butter.
The place is very clean. The prices are very reasonable. I got the whole chicken and mustard greens. The food is seasoned to perfection, but what got to me the most was the customer service from our waiter name Jazz! When I say perfect. I mean perfect. He was the best waiter I have had in a long time. He took our order. His words were spoken very clear. Great manners, because of him I even got an order to go, I have never tipped anyone over $20 but he definitely deserved it.
we’ve been here a total of 3 times. the service is always so wonderful. the staff are so kind and make you feel welcome. the ambiance is a cozy, quiet, rustic farmhouse style with open dining seating. the food is amazing, top tier. everything is fresh and flavorful, the different dishes and sides pair perfectly together. overall, this is the best restaurant i’ve ever been to. if you’re ever in dallas and need a good comfort food spot, this is the place to go!
I went to this restaurant not knowing what to expect. I must say that I was not disappointed. The food was so delicious. The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. Christopher B was our server. He was very patient with us. He made sure that we were taken care and was very friendly. I had the fried chicken (half bird) it was so golden brown and very crunchy. Well-seasoned. Delicious!!! I had a side order of the Brie Mac & Cheese it was very good. Garlic Green Beans was cooked just right. For dessert I had the Bourbon Pecan Pie it was good didn't really care for the mint sprig on it but good. If ever in Dallas I highly recommend this restaurant. Great Southern Style Cooking
The drinks at the bar were delicious. The food was a tea. The atmosphere was welcoming and clean! Everyone was nice and although I just wish they had cornbread for the greens!! (They get the 5 stars since they have tried cornbread to accommodate their guests,) Keep up the great work!! Yummmmmmyyy
On a visit from Houston was greeted with warmth and pleasantries as we entered the establishment. The food was amazing and our server Oscar went above and beyond. On a second visit (yes the vibe was so amazing I had to visit again) met Chris the GM he was just as amazing. Try the fried bacon, deviled eggs and the pot pie. when I’m in Dallas, I will definitely be back.
The food was incredible. We tried the chicken thighs, the black-eyed peas, Mac’ncheese, and green beans. Our server, Ivan, was amazing! Thank you, Ivan! Very professional and attentive to us being a party of 5. We went for brunch on a Sunday and didn’t wait long to be seated or for our food. Very pleasant experience; we will be back.
We had a few dishes but the favorite was the chicken fried chicken boneless breast with a side of maple sugar honey Dijon Brussels sprouts. The sauce was more vinegar tasting so stay away from those and the apples law if you dont like vinegar flavorings. The deviled eggs had a touch of heat and we scarred them down. Overall, the place was quick, friendly, and the food was excellent, and the price was higher but in line with a table cloth eatery.
I was in Dallas over the weekend for my birthday. This was our first stop for a great meal. It was recommended by a bartender at Jr's bar and grill. His advice was on point. I give lots of reviews, and I love giving positive write-ups. I rarely give 5 stars across the board, but this diner deserves the best because they are the best. I had chicken fried steak. My friend had the chicken and dumplings, which he said that to his surprise was just about as good as he'd ever had. His daughter had the chicken fried chicken. She ate nearly every bite and took what was left back to our hotel to polish off later. I'd say she enjoyed it.
If you’re looking for a chicken spot with well-seasoned food and outstanding service, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. It’s clear that they take pride in both their food and customer satisfaction. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu! Ambiance: diner style environment with booths and tables available
10/10 must try. I just arrived in Dallas for the first time and this was better than the luxury restaurant I ate at the meal prior. I’m coming back here again tomorrow. Absolutely phenomenal food, service, and atmosphere. Timing was also great! Edit: I came back the next day at it was also excellent! I tried more sides and they were also good! The black eyed peas were incredible the honey biscuits are to die for and they were only 1.50 each!
This place was an absolutely phenomenal visit. We were greeted promptly on entering and the service was amazing! The entire staff was friendly and had great energy. The food came quickly and was flavorful and delicious. I got the half chicken with the brussel sprouts and my partner got the chicken dumplings with black eyed peas and collard greens. Everything was a 10/10 definitely recommend!!!
This is my second time to review Street’s Fried Chicken. It is my favorite go to for southern fried chicken and more. The collard greens, Mac n cheese, and shrimp and grits are a favorite as well. You must try the chicken pot pie if you dine at dinner. It’s not available for brunch. The wine is fine and the espresso martini is notable. Streets has the same servers so not a lot of staff turnover. You really feel like home in this one of a kind dining experience.
Professional, prompt service and delicious food. Great, quick spot to grab some high-quality chicken entrées or snacks.

I didn't feel the need to review this place bc they all ready have a good reputation but I want reiterate how good this place is and I'm grateful for their consistency. Delicious chicken and sides.…
Very nice experience, really good food, waiter was very attentive with service and the overall atmosphere of this place was very nice. A tad overpriced.

My uncle and I came here for dinner. We both had the chicken fried chicken and fries. We thought the meal was delicious. The service of the staff was great. We will definitely come back.
Awesome chicken! Fantastic Mac and cheese! Gotta try the fried bacon and mashed potatoes! Great atmosphere as well! Michael (waitstaff) was a great!
Bloody Mary was just ok. The show bird was great but had A LOT of sweet potato strings Update Came back with my wife and we had the chicken and waffles and the burrito. The flavor on the chicken and waffles was great but the texture of the waffle was soggy. They tossed the tenders in Nashville hot sauce and that was a great choice! My wife loved the fried chicken burrito and the side of potatoes.
A local friend took me here as Chicken strips were crunchy, tender, and flavorful. The brie Mac and cheese is a must, it was very velvety. The flavor on tye Brussel sprouts surprised me In a great way. The drink was also delicious, sweet but not too sweet. We definitely plan on coming back 🙏
I got the Leg Quarter with fries and biscuit! Chicken was very juicy and tender. I wasn’t expecting it to come in one piece like that but it was fine! Fries had really good seasoning. The only thing I wasn’t toooo fond of was the biscuit. I love me some biscuits and I had high hopes for it. It was good but to me it was dry. Like I could not swallow the biscuit without taking a sip of my drink. Not sure if that’s how biscuits are supposed to be but I didn’t like that too much. But it was still good. I did like the flavor. So 7/10 on the biscuits! To pay $14 for a thing of chicken, fries and biscuit - not including my drink…. is a little on the high end but eh. I wouldn’t be going everyday so it’s alright. Atmosphere was nice, chill during lunch hour. The waitress was very sweet and welcoming.
We came on the earlier side, no ressies taken at this location. We were seated immediately and was acknowledged soon after by our waitresss. For our starters we ordered the deviled eggs… it was very good!!! Sadly, our dinner came just about five minutes into the starters, which made us rush to finish. The waitress was not apologetic whatsoever and just dropped off the plates of dinner and side of green beans. Any other time I would of kindly asked for them to hold it or remake it fresh when we were ready but I’ve worked at a fine dining restaurant (unlike this place, still solid) and that’s a cardinal sin to request your dinner to be held. So I knew better and we just accepted all what came to the table. Lucky for us we were pretty hungry so it was fine, that time. The food was delicious. The gravy thick and flavorful. The lemon glazed biscuit was great! Overall, considering food and service… 4⭐️’s The server should have been more aware of the timing. Frankly, we were her first of three tables so it wasn’t like she was drowning. Well, it was good food at the end of the day.
Back by popular demand! With all the food details…. Most of you who frequent downtown Dallas knows about Streets Chicken. There’s a location on Cedar Springs that’s very lively and nicely tucked in the corner which makes the space very uniquely for seating. Drinks are more upscale and custom made, so come expecting to try new things and see a different type of drink menu. They do have a full bar, so I’m sure they can make whatever you prefer as well. I brought the kids to this one as I’ve been here before and wanted to experience as a family. It was perfectly fine, everything was just as if I’d costed alone, only the amount of drinks I had was way less 😜 My food option for the table was the jalapeño deviled eggs- if your not a fan, you can always take the spicy part off the tip. Check out my pictures to get it. My daughter got the biscuit and 4 Mac n cheese. Y’all know how much we love cheese and this definitely made out top 5 from places we like and actually smash on in DFW. The chicken and gravy was good as well. If your in the area or looking for a new chicken place to try, I’d come to this location!
Went with a group for lunch on a Friday, and tried a little of everyone's plate. First, the service was awesome. Second, the establishment was very clean and comfortable. Third, most of the food was phenomenal, but a couple of items were a little bland. Good: Fried chicken was hot and crunchy. Green beans, the Brie mac and cheese, and brussel sprouts were all awesome. The fried green tomatoes were the best I had in a while. And my friend told me her pork chops were full of flavor. Also, the biscuits had plenty of butter and honey. Not so good: chicken fried steak, as well as the mashed potatoes were ok, just somewhat bland. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.
Heard they had great chicken here so as I was visiting the area I wanted to find out for myself. I tried the fried chicken. It was ok. I probably should have went with the broasted chicken maybe it's more flavorful. I just didn't think that would matter because the chicken itself is supposed to be marinated in a ton of flavor. I was really wanting crispy skin so I went with fried. But it seemed to be lacking flavor. What was outstanding though was the Maple Roasted Brussel Sprouts. Those are amazing. And the murals around the building are fun.
We ordered from here again for 6 people. Once again the service was great, food was great, all orders were correct. Thanks for always being consistent. We ordered lunch again for 7 people to be delivered. Ordering process and a delivery were pretty smooth, no issues. Food arrived packaged well and still warm. This time I ordered the Chicken Fries Steak with Jalapeno Gravy and Mashed Potatoes with Jalapeno Gravy. The gravy was great, the breading was good, thin not too much. The taste was just OK for me. Would like a little flavor or spices in the breading something. As long as there was gravy it was fine but they do just give a little gravy, would have to order an extra one for me. We had lunch from here again, this time it was amazing. I got the Hells Chicken Sandwich and it was huge. Had great flavor, loved the sauce on it. Great improvement from the last time we ordered! Food was still warm and was packed very well and looked good! Great job this time! Ordered lunch and had it delivered. Got the Sun Killer Breast with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. From the ordering to delivery, it was pretty quick, great service. Food was delivered warm. The marinade of the chicken breast was amazing, however the chicken was a little dry, cooked a little too long for me. The gravy for the mashed potatoes was bland, no flavor. This meal had so much potential to be amazing, but fell short today. I will have to try them again, everyone has a bad day and I might not of received their best. I will try again before I would recommend or say no to this place.
Best waffles I’ve had in a long time 10/10! Chicken tenders and half bird were lacking seasoning… had to add salt and pepper. Biscuits were good… lemonade was as well. I’d go back just for the waffles and maybe try the chicken fried chicken with it. We were seated right away and service was awesome.
I've ordered delivery from Streets Fine Chicken several times and always enjoyed the food, so I decided to try dining in. The interior, however, feels dated--aging artwork and worn tables and chair…

While between appointments we decided to try a nearby restaurant. We arrived shortly after lunch, received a warm greeting and was seated immediately. Our server Dee Dee provided exceptional service and it was served with a smile. Jalapeños must be very popular here. The shriracha spiked little devil deviled eggs were topped with a shaved jalapeño. The taste was different than any deviled eggs we had ever eaten. Then there was the buttermilk chicken fried steak that was topped with a jalapeño gravy… neither were appetizing. The side of mashed potatoes were topped with gravy which was unexpected also. While the service was excellent and the prices were on point the food didn’t do it for us. The restaurant has ample seating, a very nice bar and a great playlist. FYI- should you order the breast quarter, leg quarter or half fried chicken, be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes per the menu and our server. Sometimes doing too much with food can ruin the experience. This dining experience was disappointing.
Gave this place a try since it has so many good reviews but it was disappointing. I had the waffle and chicken and it was completely tasteless, it’s eatable but there’s nothing special. A Dinner has more flavor than this place. Reviews are overrated, maybe because of the location but is not what it looks like. I was even the first person to arrive and thought it was going to be really good but it wasn’t. I don’t think I’ll come back.
The service was great but the food not to much! I was recommended going and my husband & 2 daughters went and it wasn't what I was expecting tad below boat best. Again the service was great but let's…

It's a popular place in The area, and I love chicken. But there are much better options for chicken close by. 6 out of 10 to me. Service was good and place was clean as to be expected. Just not my …
I’ve been a loyal customer of Streets Fine Chicken, but my recent visit on Nov. 22 was disappointing. I ordered the Half Bird online, which showed a roasted chicken in the photo, but I received a fried one instead. When I called the store, the manager on duty was not empathetic or helpful and told me they couldn’t do anything about it. This experience makes me think twice about choosing Streets for dinner in the future.
Picked up our order. Sauce was dumped everywhere. One meal missing a biscuit. And yum the chicken salad had tendons and bones in it - what everyone would want right?!?

This particular Streets Chicken has been going downhill for sometime now. Everything is band and no seasoning which is what I think is what the clientele they want to cater to wants now. I Ordered the whole rotisserie chicken with two regular sides. The entire thing was bland the Mac and cheese was decent but overall very disappointing
I used to enjoy coming to Streets (enjoyed their chicken for years, since before I met my wife back in 2018), but recently an employee or manager from Streets approached some friends with a baseball bat and was threatening, demeaning, and honestly immature. He approached holding the baseball bat, started cussing out and threatening because of our Christian faith. It was very disturbing and I don’t feel comfortable supporting a business that harasses or threatens someone (or promotes such behavior) because of their beliefs.
SAT 9/27/2025 15:36 Placed a 2-Go order. DidNt have to wait too long, but was DEEPLY disappointed after checking my order B4 I left, & Im SO GLAD I did. The HYPE around this entree was NOT JUSTIFIED. 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿 As U can see from the photo, the so called Sin Killer Thighs, supposed to be TWO, were NOT created equally. Grill marks present & marinated, but absolutely NO seasoning‼️ U can also notice there wereNt ANY roasted tomatoes, which I had to REQUEST. The hostess thought I was asking for something that didNt come with the entree, when they CLEARLY DO. When I did receive them, they were very COLD 🤬, meaning some1 in the kitchen didnt KNOW their OWN menu or purposely didNt CARE. Maybe they are only good @ fried chicken. If U want TRUE peri-peri, go to NANDO'S. 1 Star is too gracious.
