Absolutely fantastic. Fried rice was smokey and perfectly seasoned - no exaggeration that it’s the best fried rice I’ve ever had. The Chan Noodles was also exquisite. Will probably be back every time I visit the antique mall next door!!!

Thai Soon is absolutely the best Pad Kee Mow in Dallas. Very Authentic and I usually get spicey level 3 at it is just right. Service is amazing! The owner comes out to talk and check in with you She is so friendly. You must try it, really!

So far the most authentic taste out of the Thai restaurants I've been in the US. The only meat they have is chicken. Originally was completely vegetarian, so they do add more vegetables to the meals than in Thailand but the taste is what makes it great. Also I don't mind the veggies, I actually prefer them, less rice less calories. Fun fact, they were the first Thai restaurant in Dallas. The owner is super nice and taught us a lot about Thai food, restaurants in the area, markets to go shopping for ingredients and more. Disclaimer, I am not an expert food critic nor do I care about posting pictures of my food. I lived in Thailand and I miss the home cooked meals, the taste and the spice level. The atmosphere might not appeal to fancy folks, but it brought me back to Thailand and that's why it's 5 stars for me.

I can confidently say that the wonderfully savory noodles here are the best I have found, making the Pad Thai Noodles and Pad See Eaw absolute must-tries. Whether you choose the Chicken Pad Thai ($17.00) or the Chicken Yam Woonsen Salad ($17.00), you're guaranteed high quality. As an insider tip, the portions are notably bigger than what you get at other local spots, which is a fantastic bonus when the recipes are this good. If you want real, unpretentious Thai cuisine served in a perfectly maintained space, seek out this gem. Thai Soon Richardson delivers quality that few others can match. Go for the noodles, and join the small circle of people who know the best place in town.

The food here is amazing. In terms of authentic Thai taste probably the best I have had in Dallas. The owner took time to talk to us and tell us about the history of the restaurant. Mind blown this place has been in Dallas for almost 40 years and this is the first time I've heard about. Hopefully people support this place and check it out. This will definitely be my go to spot for authentic Thai in DFW. Went in with no expectations so started eating. Unfortunatly food was so good we didn't even take pictures...LOL

Wow. Just… wow. Hands down the best Thai food I’ve had in Dallas. Tucked away off Coit near Beltline, this little spot is an absolute gem. The owner was incredibly kind and even came out to chat with me—turns out, this is the oldest Thai restaurant in Dallas! Her mom started it decades ago, and now she’s proudly carrying on the family tradition. I had the soup and the Pad Kee Mow today, and let me tell you… WOWWWWW. I’m still licking my lips as I write this. Bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and the kind of heat that hits just right. You can taste the love in every bite. If you’re craving Thai, this place is a must.

This is my best friend’s favorite Thai restaurant. I have been visiting this place since 2007. The staffs were friendly and attentive. The food was great value for taste and portion. Price is reasonable. Thai coffee is $3.5.

We happened upon the BEST Thai restaurant, Thai Soon, in Richardson! Portion size was great, a tiny but quaint place facing Coit Rd, just south of Beltline. Actual address is 101 S. Coit Rd, Suite 401. We always start off with spring rolls. If you want oil free you need to specify steamed tofu, not fried. I had the Cashew Nut Entree with Brown rice that was heaping with fresh veggies ! I had a spice level of 3 and it was perfect for my spicy palate. Pat chose a Pad Thai with Veggies as well. Both of us agreed that it was the best Thai food we have ever had in Dallas (and we have frequented many)! We followed up with Purple Sticky Rice for dessert, and it was a 10/10! Not the right season for Mango Sticky Rice, so we tried something new, and cannot wait to return! Prices very reasonable as well! You won’t regret a visit to Thai Soon In Richardson.

This is a small traditional place, as authentic as it gets, it’s very down to earth. Prices are extremely good, lunch/ dinner entrees can be $11/$14, and they have all the traditional Thai dishes and appetizers. The server was extremely nice, and food was fresh, tasty and good portioned. They have restrooms, and parking is available both at the front and the back. it’s on the smaller side they have about 10 tables, but I can fit small and large parties (up 6 or so) but the space is limited so I recommend you make a reservation.

Ya’ll. The food is GOOD. The spinach sauce was delicious (I might even say AMAZING)! (I try to keep clean Tupperware in the car for on-the-go-meals and it totally came in handy for peak enjoyment. 🤗) - Fried Calamari was a BIG NO for me… mostly softish? breading ... didn’t like it. + sticky rice was over too soon. Should’ve gotten 2! Service was okay as attendant seemed irritated (or busy. Idk). I will definitely be back but not for dine-in.

03/19/24: lunch today was great! Even though it's pricier than some other places, food is very good here. 08:29: came back for lunch and had their Yam Woon sen Thai Salad with chicken and added shrimp. It was delicious, filling, and refreshing. It is not, unfortunately, on the lunch menu though. I also got the fried calamari and it was ok. Batter was not very flavorful but maybe it's supposed to be like that. Food is still very good here so it'll be in my rotation 😊 Came for lunch and entrees came with an egg roll and either a salad or cup of soup. Everyone enjoyed their food but it is pricey for lunch. They have a lot of options on their menu.

There was a sewer stench when we came to eat and it was unbearable. The ice tea was way too sweet which we have to send it back . Food wasn’t as authentic and it’s overhyped .
