My husband and I finally snuck away for our first date night in months, and overall, it did not disappoint. The only hiccup was the service feeling a bit off (more on that in a moment), but thankfully the sommelier more than made up for it—warm, knowledgeable, and refreshingly unpretentious. He immediately made us feel at home. We kicked things off with espresso martinis, which unfortunately didn’t arrive until after our first two appetizers hit the table. I was hoping to sip a cocktail while we leisurely combed through the menu, but since they ask you to order everything upfront, that moment was short-lived. That said, the food was excellent. We ordered two sushi rolls, truffle tuna sashimi, a salad, a baked crab hand roll, and the cauliflower appetizer. While the cauliflower might sound like the least exciting choice on paper, it completely stole the show—crispy, indulgent, and reminiscent of Nobu’s rock shrimp tempura. Truly outstanding. To top off the night, the sommelier surprised us with one of their specialty desserts—the strawberry ice—which was the perfect, light finish to a really enjoyable evening.
Best dinner date ever. QOTN: I don't need a nap, I need a hibernation. I feel like I ate for the winter. But in all seriousness every thing we ate was absolutely amazing. Thank you Chef Dario! The entire experience was one for the books! And thank you to our server Sarah! We will definitely be back
The service here is as incredible as the food! Absolutely recommend the omakase boat & pistachio cheese cake. The best place for celebrations. Carlie & Tony made our experience amazing! Definitely will be back!
Come for vibe and stay for food and drinks. This place is top tier. The ambiance is awesome. Be prepared to wait, but so worth it. The food is so fresh and delicious. Try a little of everything! Awesome vegan options. The drinks are wonderful as well. Make sure to order the Bananas foster old fashion. One of the best places in Dallas for dinner. 10 out of 10.
Catch Dallas – A Top-Notch Date Night Spot We went to Catch Dallas for a Saturday night date, and from start to finish, it was an incredible experience. We valet parked with no issues, and as soon as we stepped inside, we were impressed by the beautiful ambiance and lively vibe. Our waiter was knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. We ordered a variety of dishes—mostly sushi—and every single one was flawless. Honestly, it was some of the best sushi I’ve had this year. The fried rice was packed with flavor, and the sushi pizza and calamari were both hits. We tried several dishes, and each one was a 10/10—no complaints at all. The drinks were also well-crafted and matched the upscale vibe of the restaurant. The bar was nice, and the second floor is absolutely beautiful. I’ve heard great things about their Sunday brunch, so I’m already thinking about going back to try it. The only downside for me was the bathroom—it’s quite small and a bit too dark for my taste. But that’s a minor detail and wouldn’t stop me from recommending this place. Overall, Catch Dallas delivered an amazing experience. Highly recommend for a date night or special evening out.
Our first experience at Catch was a delight. We don’t typically love sushi or seafood but there is something for everyone. We started with Crispy cauliflower and truffle mushroom spaghetti both of which were incredible. The Japanese Red snapper was delicious with an incredible peach and pomegranate mixture. The wagyu fried rice was probably my favorite. It was so flavorful with a perfect crunch you have to try for yourself. We also tried the center cut filet with Parmesan truffle fries, asparagus and mashed potatoes. Catch really knows how to finish with a bang with their dream worthy Klondike cake. The food was just incredible and the ambiance was perfection. If you are looking for a glamorous, upscale fine dining experience I would 12/10 recommend Catch!
Catch Dallas never misses. Perfect martinis, amazing sushi, and that truffle pasta is unreal. Cozy, chic atmosphere, such a good spot for a night out. Last time I was there it was for my birthday and had a lovely time. Always a fave.
Had a good experience at Catch for Sunday brunch. The food was well-prepared, the service was on point, and the caviar cart added a nice upscale touch - it would be even better if the cart came around once more.
Awesome food. Service was great. We let our server pick out dishes. He picked his favorite and the meal was amazing.
We had an excellent experience at Catch tonight for girls night! Everything was so fresh and so flavorful! Jamie, apart from being one of the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, was an excellent waitress and delivered everything timely and carefully without causing any intrusion to our juicy conversation. Ambience was super sexy and old money Hollywood which was very nice for an evening out. The mushroom Truffle pasta is a MUST along with the sashimi pasta which stood out to us! Catch restaurants confidently hold the top spot on my personal list. Here, I don’t just eat—I savor every flavor, perfected to the highest standard. Each dish is a true culinary masterpiece, where impeccable quality meets creative presentation. The service is flawless, and the atmosphere is stylish and thoughtfully curated. Unfortunately, there are no Catch locations in my city, but whenever I travel, I make it a point to dine there. And every time, it proves to be an experience worth repeating.

Came to Catch for our anniversary. We were very impressed from start to finish. Vanessa was our wonderful waitress and she was probably top 3 best server either of us ever had. We cannot speak highly enough about how great she was from her cheerful and personable personality to her honest and on-point recommendations. She was top tier. The food was also amazing. We had the Surf and Turf Roll, the Catch Roll and Crispy shrimp for appetizers. All very tasty and delicious. For the entree we shared the Herb roasted Branzino and the Spicy Gigli pasta followed by the Hit Me chocolate cake for dessert. For drinks we recommend the Smoked Cadillac, Watermelon Smash and the Expresso Martini. Every single thing we order was prepared to perfection. Not one complaint. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. This has become my top favorite restaurant in the city. Thank you for an excellent experience.

We visited catch for their 75 dollar all you can eat Sunday Brunch and we were absolutely blown away. Visiting for my fiancé's birthday, I was a little worried about the price to quality for fish in the middle of Dallas, but we were astounded by the high quality of food and service we received. The food selection was very wide reaching so that even my friend who doesn't eat seafood was able to enjoy a variety of options with just as high of quality as the sashimi (which was by far the best sashimi we have had, even from places next to the ocean). The dessert selection was my favorite part because the variety of types of sweets helped you not just get a sugar overload from chocolate/fudge only desserts like many other places would try to pass off as "options". The mini smores cones were probably the best dessert snack I've ever had in my life and stood out as one of the most random but best parts of my meal. The caviar cart was also cute, but ultimately nothing special. It was used as a selling point in ads, but if you're going to visit here, I'd do it for the outstanding food quality vs any of the viral moments you may see otherwise. 10/10 would recommend overall, and I do plan on coming back.
I came here for my birthday 3.7.26. I had a party of 8. We had to wait 30-45 min past our reservation start time to get a table. While annoying, I’ve worked in the hospitality industry before and so I understand things like that happen and didn’t mind waiting and being patient. They were so kind and generous and brought us champagne while we waited. When we sat down they offered us some complementary starters for being patient and understanding. One of my friends has a fish allergy and they were exceptionally helpful and accommodating to keep her safe! They made my birthday dinner so nice and we felt so cared for. 10000/10!!
Absolutely elite from start to finish. We came for brunch and were impressed on every level — from the polished, attentive service to the outstanding food quality. Every detail felt intentional, every plate well-executed, and the overall atmosphere delivered the upscale yet relaxed energy you want for a weekend outing. Yes, it’s not cheap — but here, the price is fully justified. Worth every dollar. Highly recommended. Catch Uptown delivers.
Wow! I was absolutely blown away by my experience at Catch. The service was amazing - the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The staff were very knowledgeable about gluten free options and I had plenty of choices. The food was incredible - we had edamame, a hellfire roll, scallop + salmon belly nigiri, sea bass, pistachio cheesecake, and the hit me chocolate cake (yes, TWO gluten free desserts). They fly the fish in from Japan daily and you can tell - the quality was fantastic. The nigiri and sea bass in particular were outstanding. I do wish there were additional gluten free sushi roll options instead of just the one (which was modified, because the spicy tuna is not gluten free). They also have a great range of mocktail options - their zero proof espresso martini was fantastic. We’ll be back for sure.
We had a fantastic experience at Catch Las Vegas, so I was eagerly anticipating the Dallas location. The ambiance and patio were simply captivating, and the drinks were excellent. We indulged in a delightful spread of dishes, including crispy cauliflower, bluefin Toro, truffle mushroom spaghetti, and Seabass. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the crispy cauliflower and bluefin Otoro, which were simply ah-mazing! To end our meal on a sweet note, we savored the hit me chocolate cake. Overall a wonderful time with friends!!!!!
Celebrated a friend’s birthday here and the food was so good, I love the LA location as well. We did have a reservation and waited over an hour which was insane but they gave us complimentary champagne for the inconvenience which is always a nice gesture. Our orders were also mixed up but I understand the stress of a big group on a busy night so it wasn’t a big deal. Not sure that I’d be back on a busy Saturday night but we did love everything else.
Visited this location during the week on a Wednesday. The restaurant was moderately busy, lots of business dinner, but there were plenty of tables for walk ins. The restaurant is very nice upscale ambiance, low lighting. All of the dishes ordered were delicious and cooked to perfection. Very seafood focused menu, but trust me, they can cook a steak! Crispy tuna rice bites stood out to me. Great spot! I look forward to visiting again.
Sat at the bar and enjoyed the friendly and attentive service. Fun & busy place with lots of good sharing options on the menu. Favorites were Hellfire Roll and Wagu Gyoza 🥟
I went to Catch for dinner last night. I had a reservation for 8 pm, but I was only seated at 8:40 pm. My friend and I did have to wait a considerable amount of time just standing in the bar area, despite having a reservation. After being seated, service was fairly quick. I ordered the catch roll and crispy shrimp, and both were excellent! I loved how savory both of them were. The catch roll had a stellar presentation, with it being torched to melt the honey on top of the roll. The ambiance was stunning! The overall look of the restaurant made you feel like you weren’t in Dallas anymore, with its very elevated appearance. I would definitely come back here for the food, but the service could be better.
Cat’s Restaurant in Dallas definitely nails the ambiance—dim lighting, elegant decor, and an overall cozy yet classy vibe that makes it perfect for date nights or special occasions like anniversaries. It’s a spot that feels intimate and thoughtfully designed. As for the food, everything was pretty good. I especially liked the sushi pizza and the pasta—they were creative and enjoyable. But when comparing the price to the flavor, I felt it didn’t quite deliver the “wow” factor that would justify the higher cost. It wasn’t bad by any means, just not exceptional for what you pay. That said, if you’re going for the full experience—atmosphere, presentation, and a romantic setting—it’s still very much worth a visit. A solid 4 out of 5, and definitely a place I’d recommend for couples to try at least once.

Came here for my birthday and I really enjoyed the Wagyu Surf & Turf roll and mashed potatoes! Those were delicious; I wouldn’t recommend the Catch roll though since it was below average. The Miso Sea Bass was fine, but a bit bland. We also got the 4 layer chocolate dessert which had a Klondike bar, cake, dulce de leche ice cream, and a brownie. The cake was pretty dry and almost stale, but the brownie was better (still tasted a bit dry though). The melted ice cream helped, but I wouldn’t recommend this dessert. Maybe the donuts are better? Good ambiance and the music wasn’t too loud for conversation, but I wouldn’t come back for the food. Besides the surf & turf roll, it was mediocre at best. If you really want to splurge and spend this much, I recommend Nobu instead.
This was our first time at The Catch for their Sunday Brunch Buffet, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. We were impressed by the elegant décor and thoughtful space arrangement, which created a welcoming and stylish atmosphere. The upstairs bar area served as a great waiting spot—comfortable, lively, and ideal for mingling before being seated. Once our group arrived, we were promptly escorted to our table and warmly welcomed by our server, who provided excellent service throughout our meal. While the buffet selection was more limited than we had anticipated and didn’t fully reflect what was advertised, certain highlights stood out. We especially enjoyed the oysters and the accompanying sauces. The caviar cart added a touch of excitement, though the quality of the caviar was not as high as expected. On the bright side, the wine selection was excellent and added a nice touch to the brunch experience. In summary, it was a good outing with standout service and ambiance, though we would appreciate a more robust buffet selection to feel more inclined to return.

My friend and I have been wanting to come here for a while so we booked reservations for 745PM. Upon arrival, they were PACKED. The bar was full as well as the dining area. We waited at the bar (and had a drink) while we waited for our table to be ready. We FINALLY were seated at 820PM and ordered around 830PM. The customer service (waiter) was a bit scattered but we were able to get everything we wanted ordered. For starters, we ordered the Wagyu Gyoza and we really liked these - although we were starving from the long wait. The next item to come out was the Truffle Sashimi and Madai Crudo. We thoroughly enjoyed the Truffle Sashimi and even dipped our Crudo in the sauce! Would definitely recommend the Sashimi. Thereafter, we were just waiting and waiting for our rolls and nigiri. As we looked around, no one was eating but drinking and drinking. The food service was terribly slow. Around 25-30 mins later, our Catch Roll, Hellfire Roll, and Otoro and King Salmon Belly nigiri arrived. The nigiri was very fresh and tasty and we enjoyed the Catch Roll. The Hellfire Roll was ok - definitely not a favorite. Since we had a reservation for cocktails after, we had to high tail it out of there! Overall, the food was good but the timeliness and service can be improved so much especially for what you’re paying. I guess as long as the aesthetic fit, no one cares. Try it for yourself - the food won’t disappoint!
Staff was nice and friendly. Atmosphere is pleasant, intimate and quiet. Food was good but not impressive for the high cost.
