Great place! Only one waitress and bartender but the weather was bad and they were doing a great job taking care of everyone. Customers were patient and that always helps. Every other table was blocked for social distancing (thank you!) and for the most part patrons wore masks when moving around. Had a live duo of guitars and they kept the crowd engaged. Big TVs had the game going. It was warm and welcoming. The kitchen was also doing a great job! Had my food out without any trouble or long wait. Really did a great job! Can't wait to come back soon!
If you want Irish food this is where it's at. The corned beef and cabbage is amazing. The Dublin tacos are out of this world. Then top it off with some awesome bread pudding. I have nothing negative to say about this place. The staff is very attentive and professional. I will definitely be coming back.
Great Irish bar experience in Far North Dallas. Bartenders are extremely attentive, great draft beers selection and then some! bottles and cans too! Happening atmosphere with karaoke on Friday night and some arcade machines and pool tables. If you are a ND fan, this is the place to be for game days! Go Irish!
Feels like you are always welcome and lots of there fans are at the bar. Good food and service
First time ever going...the only thing that sucked, was the loss the Lions gave the Cowboys. Other than that, great spot to relax and enjoy company. Oh, and GREAT Shepherds pie.
Our whole group loved all of it. Not too loud that you can't enjoy talking to your friends l, food was awesome, and the wait staff was great!
Best corned beef and cabbage in town, lovely service, and great atmosphere! Will definitely be back! Looking forward to trying more items! Thank you to Veronica for being an amazing bartender!
Awesome list of draft beer and imported bottles. Customer service is always great. Good food menu as well. Bartender acknowledged and served us immediately at the bar.
What a gem! We really enjoyed the vibe of this place. The fish and chips was the best in DFW according to my husband who has literally tried them everywhere in the metroplex in search of the “the one”. Happy hour prices were fantastic and the service (Jessica) was TOP TIER! Also the 🍋 drop shots were by far the best I’ve had in a very long time! We will def be back.
We visited this restaurant whilst in London with a friend. We bought a deal from groupon for four people which was 2sharing platters and 6 cocktails. When we arrived we were seated and asked to see the cocktail menu when we were told ‘well we don’t actually do cocktails’!! Strange!! We were told they could do sangria or cava sangria and these were cocktails. We did order cava sangria which were nice but not exactly cocktails?? The sharing platter consisted of 1 bread, olives and 2 tapas, so in total we had 4tapas. We ordered calamari, octopus, croquettes and steak. The steak came out and was three small pieces of steak, some chips and some wilted salad (not exactly what I’d associate with tapas). The calamari and croquettes were nice and octopus was not bad. I ordered garlic bread but first they brought just four pieces of dry bread. I presumed this was complimentary and told them my garlic bread I ordered hadn’t arrived. They brought this promptly but when we left we were chased out of the restaurant and told we had to pay for garlic bread. Not being very happy I refused to pay and explained but the waitress simply huffed and left!! Not a good experience in all. I wouldn’t recommend this tapas restaurant
Just a brilliant Irish Pub. A proper pub some would say. Great place to watch soccer especially if you are a Tottenham Hotspur fan. The staff is super friendly even when the house is packed. Great selection of pub Food. Prices are very responsible. Try the cheeseburger egg rolls. Also, the Dublin Tacos with mashed potatoes and corned beef is tasty! The Shepard's Pie is also delicious! The Monte Cristo is very good. The bread has a terrific flavor.
Ok y’all! Seriously this PUB is the bomb! We got the Fish and Chips. Cod was amazing. I am not a high fan of dark beers, but Jessica aka the bartender knew her stuff and recommended a light blond that blew me out of the water! It was light and fresh without a weird after taste; Smithwicks. The staff was ON POINT and I give this place on a laidback vibe to chill on a Saturday afternoon 5/5 stars! They don’t disappoint!
Great pub, very similar to a British one (except way more tvs!) Friendly staff and a great environment. I went here because someone said they had the best fish and chips in Dallas. It’s not true. The fish was overcooked and greasy , the chips were thin and tasteless like Mac Donald’s. Go here for the environment, not the food! If you want really good fish and chips go to the the thirsty lion in grandscape.
We miss Trinity Hall and trying to find that experience again. Typical bar food. We had a sample appetizer platter, $18. Chicken wings, pretzel bites, two types of sandwich themed egg rolls (corned beef and Philly cheesesteak), cheese sticks. Pool tables and touchscreen slot machines. Solid Local Craft Beer Selection. Super friendly, helpful staff. Only one bartender when we visited, but she took care of everyone. Covered patio, ashtrays on all outside tables. Bonus: They participate in the AA Advantage Dining Program. Found out when the email came in asking for a review. Would go back and happy to recommend.
This place had a bit of a dive bar, feeling to it, while being in kind of a strip mall in the suburbs. They had two bartenders, working the restaurant on a Monday, which is all day happy hour. We got an Irish Mule (not my fave) and Guinness to drink. The pretzels were $5 on Mondays and were great. They have daily specials for food. I’m usually more of a mustard versus cheese person, but their cheese was phenomenal. My friends got a burger and fries and a club with sweet potato fries. We brought our computers to book. Some travel plans, and their Wi-Fi wasn’t ideal, but this seems more like a bar for regulars to come and play pool.
We had time to kill waiting for our kid watching a school sporting event. Took a chance on this place. We were pleasantly surprised about the food. We ordered "The Pot O Gold" which was great! It's home cooked chips with beer cheese...yummy! Hubby got the cheeseburger sliders & I got the Chicken Tenders. Both dishes were great. Not frozen food...actually home made stuff. If you are looking for a pub with good food give this place a try. They have a decent size padio for the smokers.
I stopped in Thurs night to watch an NCAA tournament game (Texas Tech pummeled Michigan), enjoy some Smithwicks, and have a snack. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and the food is very good! If you are interested in just a snack, I highly recommend the pretzel, which comes with both cheese and spicy honey mustard dipping sauces!
Pretty disappointed in the pickup order I got. I ordered a monte cristo, which has been my favorite. In fact the only place I liked it from was from here, until now. The meat is nonexistent like before and to top it off no raspberry jelly/jam to go with it. Not even close to what it once was that I used to order and receive. Besides that being a huge let down and disappointment it was quick and easy to get and easy for pick up. I also ordered mozzarella sticks that needed to be fried longer as they were very yellow. No condiments like they used to throw in every time. I won’t be getting them anymore. Not for over $30 dollars worth.
If you are a sports bar you should televise all major sporting events 100%. Sound and all. Lame excuse: of regulars playing jukebox. Whatever. Even the regulars will understand a World Cup is on TV once every 4 years. If you don't understand it you are not a regular. Management / bartenders 0 trying or even let me ask. Simple: "I am in charge and that is what's happening" I don't leave around the corner anymore, but often come back to the area and do have a few drinks. Other good places in the area are Lekka, or Deli news. Remember, that service and hospitality are different things. So with 4 star service and 0 stars for hospitality. Cheers! Don't come here for soccer you get a Juke box. I hope someone reads it and will have a sound on for USA game tomorrow. Maybe just Super Bowl gets lucky. So sad!
I had an order delivered from Grub Hub from this place. The food was horrible! I got the Reuben Spring Rolls and they were bland and horrible. They tasted like the just reheated and not cooked fresh. I also had the Shepherd's Pie, which was also bland. It needed seasoning and salt, as it had a terrible flavor. The thick layer of cheese melted on top was oily and not at all authentic and shepherd's pie doesn't have that much cheese. We finished off with the bread pudding which was more dry bread than pudding. Again, no flavor, really hard and not moist at all. Whatever goop they put on top of was also bad and flavorless. I will never eat here again and I hate that I had to eat what I ordered since I couldn't return it.
Firstimer. Ordered using the link that the restaurant texted me. Completed and paid. When I went to pick up, I was advised that the kitchen was closed and that their system should not have processed my order. I was equally told that they could not process my refund either and that I would receive the following morning at 11:30 a.m.. at 1:30 p.m. the following day I had not received notification regarding my refund and called the restaurant again, the person who I spoke with was clueless about the refund that was outstanding and did not know what I was talking about. I had to explain the situation over again along with providing all of my information, I asked if she had spoken with the person from the previous night and/or the manager and she got very upset and passed the call off to another manager. That manager got on the line and begin making continuous excuses regarding their system process and failure to return my refund she was extremely rude, continue to over talk and interrupt me and then hung up in my face twice when I was trying to get the details surrounding my refund. At this time I have no ETA as to when I will receive my refund nor do I have any details about the refund. Not only did they render terrible poor service but when attempting to resolve they refuse to accept accountable for their actions, made tons of excuses and then ultimately got upset with me as a customer, for their own actions. After receiving this poor treatment, I researched other reviews, it is appears that my ethnicity could have played into the fact that I not only received poor service, but that it is also expected to be acceptable. This place appears to issue lesser quality service to "other" ethnic groups. Extremely disgusting behavior from a restaurant that moved into the area that I have been living for many years prior to their arrival. Very poor experience, this type of disparate treatment is disgusting! I will never return and do not recommend for "other" ethnic groups as maybe you will be treated fairly, and maybe you won't. UPDATED: added some of the owners responses to previous bad reviews - there's the culprit, they argue and don't take responsibility as they are aware of their poor environment.
