I've been coming here a little more often after discovering the blueberry bun. It's got blueberry cream cheese inside and is just the right sweetness. I also really like their white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. Their drinks are also pretty good. The layout of the cash register area is kind of odd because they rope off one end so you basically enter and exit the same way. It's not too big of a deal, but it is a little odd when there's a bunch of people standing around when you're trying to exit. Parking is pretty easy, since it's located by one of the closed entrances to the mall.
Got an ube cake for a friend’s birthday. It was soooo delicious!! The ube cream was top notch.
This pumpkin bread is really cute which caught my attention. But it was dry. There was pumpkin filling inside and u have to make sure u eat the bread with the filling in order for it to be good. Other than that, this place has some great pastries! The potato croquet, choco bun, and cheese bread are my favorites 😋
I can't rave enough about 85 Degrees Bakery! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the delightful aroma of freshly baked pastries and breads. The selection is incredible, offering a wide variety of sweet and savory options that cater to every taste. The bread here is soft, fluffy, and always fresh. My personal favorites are the classic milk bread and the tantalizing taro buns. Their cakes and desserts are equally impressive, with the perfect balance of sweetness and flavor. The mango cream cake and the chocolate mousse cake are absolute must-tries! On my last visit, I tried their caramel latte, and it was perfection in a cup. The rich, smooth coffee paired with the sweet, buttery caramel was a match made in heaven. It’s the perfect complement to their delicious pastries. The staff is always friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience every time. The quality of the baked goods at 85 Degrees is consistently top-notch, making it my go-to bakery. If you're looking for delicious, high-quality pastries, bread, and coffee, look no further than 85 Degrees Bakery. Five stars all the way!
I have been going to this 85 degrees for as long as I can remember! The team here has always been so great! Mostly ate’s & kuya’s but nonetheless, they are still great! It is my go to place for a quick iced latte before going to work at Serramonte! So they make the bread & sweets in house obviously so sometimes when you come early, some of the pastries aren’t done & also, keep in mind that in the mornings— it can get packed & busy! But if you are around the area, definitely stop by here & download the app as well for points! Oh & sometimes I just do mobile order when I can know it can be busy!
We don't have one in Minnesota and whenever we find an 85°C Bakery Cafe, we try to stop by. We got here around 730am and the bakery was filled with the latest items. Grab a tray, a tong and start picking out what you're craving. There are many options to choose from. The drinks are great as well. The employees are nice and helpful.
I didn't wait in the queue but this branch seemed super busy but we still got our beverages in a timely manner. It was a Saturday afternoon though so the busy-ness is probably standard. I really liked my mango drink - it was refreshing, sweet and cold for the hot day we had. I wish I had tried some of the baked goods but I guess this will be an occasion for the next time I'm in the States!
We stopped by 85°C Bakery Café at Serramonte Mall after seeing a crowd outside. The space is clean and spacious, with a wide variety of breads and pastries along the sides, and seating in the back for dine-in. We tried a few breads and coffee drinks — the bread was soft and fresh, and the coffee was decent. Looking forward to coming back to try more!
Red velvet cake- Very middle of the road. The cake itself was balanced to dry and lacked any flavor. The frosting had a hint of cream cheese flavor but was otherwise lacking. Wouldn't get again. Deluxe Chocolate mousse cake- Moist and decadent. The cocoa powder that wraps this cake can be off puting to some but I enjoyed it. This was a pleasant experience and if I returned I would get this again. Altogether I don't feel the need to return to this bakery.
Very happy with my first experience here. Large variety of baked goods— savory and sweet! Didn’t try any drinks although I’d gladly go back to try some out. The staff was friendly and the location was very clean and organized. I got a few baked goods and some cakes to go. They were yummy and not too sweet which is my preference.
I love coming here for their sea salt coffee. Their coffee is strong and tastes great. I've also tried their milk tea and boba and it's pretty good. The boba quality depends throughout the day though as I've definitely had their stale boba. Of their bread, I go for the cheesy dog, potato croquettes, brioche, ham and cheese. My favorite thing is that they wrap each bread individually. It makes me more confident in the bread cleanliness compared to other bakeries where the bread just lays out for unknown periods of time. The one thing I don't like from 85 are their cakes. I'm just not a fan of the taste of them, but their bread and coffee are in my top faves.
Huge selection of goodies. Place is way busy and waiting time is little bit but manageable. Compare to other store this place has more selection and always in for restock. Every single one I tired they were fresh and my kids loved it. Try it you won't regret it. I will be back with my kids and family.
This store is for the young people who have no health issues or do not mind to eat food that is high in sugar and low in nutritional value. It tastes good, of course. One wise man once said "Anything that tastes good is very bad for you". He might be right. I wish this store sells at least a few healthy items. Also, some items seems a little bit overpriced. Otherwise, my experience is positive.
It's a pretty good place for quick pastries. The selection is big and service is quick. But prices and drinks could be better. The milk tea tastes a little fake, almost like Quickly, but more expensive. I just think if you're going to sell milk tea for $3, you should make it at least as good as local milk tea shops do. Also, the savory pastries could be hit or miss, but the sweet stuff is good. For example, the tuna and ham was almost flavorless, while taro bun was really delicious.
Rather disappointing. Been to other branches where the pastries are a hit. The consistency and quality at this branch leaves a lot to be desired. Has gone downhill. See pics. There is just no effort in quality control. The espresso buns were misshapen and many should be rejected. Their famous egg tarts... some burnt some undercooked. Taste was horrible. Hopefully they implement some improvement.
