It's classic FilipinX food and a comfort for generations far away from home AND bring your own insulin. Last time mom had the fresh lumpia and the wrapper was tender and fresh. Vegetarian options were (expectedly) limited but the ensaymadas are exactly what we were expecting. This time we only had time to run in and out. Service at the bakery counter is quick and the pandesal were, just as the ensaymadas were, a perfect recreation of warm memories. Mom says the mungo hopia were also on point, I couldn't tell you I hate mung beans. If you have a minute and a sweet tooth swing in, you will not be disappointed!
I love their delicacies staff are nice friendly and accommodating
This is one of my Filipino bakery and restaurant. The food are fresh and taste good. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very niceand accomodating. Will surely come back again.
Best damn chocolate cake! They don’t skimp on the icing. The cake is perfectly moist but with a good bite to it. Wish I lived closer.
All the food is delish including the baked goods. Yummy!!!! If u like Filipino food go there. Near the top of the hill
For the culturally diverse food enthusiasts, goldilocks is one of the best Filipino restaurants. Having a great selection of traditional dishes like Adobo and kaldareta, and famous for the beautiful and delicious cakes and Filipino pastries. Love the siopao and ensymada and have been enjoying their mouth savoring pan de sal since I was a child! Bibingka malangkit is a must try dessert!
It is a good place to eat the Filipino food that you missed from home and so many selections too!
Everything my family tried was delicious, we ordered four different combo meals and finished every bite.
Delicious authentic Filipino food. I almost come here once a week. They're leche flan is delicious.
Absolutely delicious food, outstanding service, and great selection of pastries on the shelf. You owe it to yourself to visit Goldilocks
GREAT location & parking! Helpful staff and lots of sweets to choose from! Will definitely return (after the quarantine)!
Sales Clerk nice and friendly over the phone. Called to inquire of any veggies available . So i dont have to waste my time and gas , wanna make sure i have what i wish to eat. However their calderata kambing is kind of hard meat not well boiled.
I wish we have a restaurant like this in Dallas! Food and services were amazing, there were a variety of bakery selections and food items on the menu. Highly recommend
We love the food at this Filipino restaurant. Great prices and so many good choices.
I needed a Birthday cake with a Spiderman motive the same day, I was Told that the decorator was going to be in later on. The lady took my information payment and asked me to come back in a few hours. I went back three hours later and surprised, we had a beautiful Spiderman cake ready to go, my son was amazed and couldn’t believe his eyes.
Goldilocks on top of the hill Daly City has great tasting Halo-Halo. This is a very interesting Cafe with 100% Filipino cuisine....The dining room has over 16 tables so there is no social distancing. If you visit, try the Chicken Adobo or Sigsig. For desert, Halo-Halo is 5 stars.
My first visit to a Goldilocks restaurant and it was wonderful. The restaurant was extremely clean and the service was first rate and wonderful customer service. Highly recommend this restaurant and also recommend the beef caldereta and the leche flan. Both are delicious 😋 😍
Yum, yum, yum yummy oh ah! Well, it isn't only the lonely, but I only went in for a special treat -- Leche Flan, and I walked out with a few more goodies, including a halo halo frozen treat. Boy these folks make some yummy "soul food" (it is good for the soul, but ultra-rich for the gut). If you're into filipino food, they have an ample selection of finger licking traditional food -- adobo, pancit, turron, menudo even sinigan. I love it all and so will you. #TheBrokerWithAHeart

Great food and plenty of desserts..
The meal was consistently delicious. Attention to detail was clear throughout.
Absolutely everything was delicious and we had such kind and efficient service. Highly recommend the lumpia Shanghai, adobo, and some sopa to go with your meal, as well as the Carioca for dessert.
Delicious! We're in town visiting and wanted something for a quick bite to eat. Their hot case definitely fit the bill. We got a chicken siapoa, chicken adobo, and something that was like a spring roll of delicious cabbage and carrots.
Calderata of course is good! But the bake shop items are really fresh. They have a lot of frozen things you can take home and make it’s very convenient it does help out and makes life easier and the coffee is always good.

They have very good desserts. However, the fresh lumpia and palabok was okay. I would be back just for the dessert but go somewhere else for Filipino food.
Located on Top of the Hill next to Auto Zone in Daly City, Goldilocks serves turo-turo (point to what you b want) style. Their bakery boasta of many cakes for special occasions and there are pre-packaged delicacies you can grab to go as well. If you haven't tried Filipino Food yet, try these guys! Not only does the location have a clean eating area, the servers also understand the logic of cleanliness as seen in the way they handle your food. Parking is free on site and it's an easy jump on the 280 freeway from there! my favorite: UKOY Thanks for reading my review! Stay awake and alive.
Arrived at 7:45 pm and it is closed already. I noticed two workers standing behind the register just looking at each. They should have posted a signed saying closed when we feel like it. And turn off the light to show customers that they were closed already.
thought it was pretty good ,been to 2 others liked this better
My go-to for halo halo. Ordered the pork adobo. Good flavor but slightly on the salty side. Eat it with a lot of rice.
Though noted as a bakery, the ready-made lunch counter seems to draw the crowd. Over a dozen Filipino classics to choose from. Pinangat na Pampano, fish stewed in vinegar broth, perfect with a side of rice. A rejuvenating combo when nursing a hangover or in need of a pick-me-up. A chain establishment perfect for those seeking consistency — in palate and surroundings. But lacking the intimate family-feel when compared to other Filipino cash-and-carrys.
The San Francisco peninsula is home to one of the largest Filipino communities in the country and therefore, there is no shortage of their cuisine in the area. Now, staying open and being successful is another story. Goldilocks is a reliable Filipino restaurant, a franchise operation with fairly loose compliance standards in uniformity, which means its restaurants vary in looks and operation. This one is on Mission Street in Daly City, a smart looking place that serves up a selection of hot food, ready-to-eat in the Turo-turo style. It's a method so common with Filipino joints that literally translates to point-point as you go along the line in cafeteria fashion. For about eight plus years that I've been going to this restaurant, I seen the same staff work there. That must mean that the owner(s) treat their employees well, or that they're family members. LOL. Seriously, I think they are well treated. Their food is consistently good, although spendy and I feel nickel & dimed, but then again, no one is forcing me to go there. Their offerings are comprehensive, from their pastries and bakery items, their frozen ready-to-eat packages, to ample seating, clean facility with a parking lot in an easy access part of town. So, they have a lot going for them and I give them props for being such a great resource for the Filipino community. Maraming salamat po.

Some branches are good and buy sure than others and some seem to have more food products to choose from.
Arrived an hour before closing but many items had run out for the day. Combo #6 made me nostalgic because it tastes exactly as I remembered it over a decade ago when I visited their prior location. Halo halo is not as sweet as most other places, which allowed me to enjoy my dessert guilt free.

Nice presentation on the pre-packed food to purchased. Taste-wise, the embotido is a bit bland while the fish relleno was a bit sour. I like the convenienced of being able to purchased this kind of food at such short noticed. That was New Year's Eve btw. Kudos!
Place is nice and friendly staff..only suggestion is as the winter approaching it's getting cooler inside, chairs and tables are cold and food were already cold before you finished. A portable heater will do.
Barbecue is so so, daing na bangus was not marinated as should be. Doesn't taste like daing, just plain fried fish
Not a rating of the restaurant but of the pastries. Mamon is good but the cheese is too thick now and overly cheesy. Not as sweet as it used to be. Same for ensaymada.
I went today around 11am and the cashier didn't bother saying hi or anything after greeting him. He was on his phone and seemed like he hated his job. Work somewhere else if you don't like your job! But, the lady who handed my drink was super nice and had a nice smile on her face. Thanks to her and hire a new worker!
The servers gives very little quantity. You don't get what you paid for. There's a lot of better family owned Filipino Restaurants nearby $$$
This place was very nasty. I asked one of the staff a question. He rolled his eyes and walked away. The food was gross and not clean. Never will be returning there.🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Thy got da best Lumpia Sariwa. Thy only give a little bit food whn u order plus da prise is way expensive.
Extremely disappointed. I called asking if they make two tier cakes, plain vanilla with white frosting, and she was extremely rude. Despite telling her exactly what I wanted she told me that if im calling I should know exactly what flavor and size I want even though I told her exactly what I wanted right before that, so I was confused. I feel like there was a language barrier because my family has bought cakes from the exact location for years and never had an issue when they order in Tagalog. I had to repeat myself multiple times and it was really hard to communicate which wasn’t the issue at all, it was the rudeness for every question I had.
Worst customer service. Staff are not knowledgeable and not inform by their management about their online promotion. Eventhough I have to show it on my email staff comprehension still don’t it. Staff spoke in tagalog talking negative about me, they thought I don’t understand. Store are not complying about social distancing. Staff is rushing me what else to get because they want to help their friends behind me. I told them I’m not done yet I will order more. I end up buying 2 items instead of buying more suppose to be buying for 15 people. It’s a nightmare experience. Management needs to coach their staff well.
Today I ordered chicken bbq with pancit amd shanghai lumpia but the chicken bbq tasted funny, like it was old and spoiled already. I continued to eat it thinking it was normal because of the sauce or something. Sure enough a few hours later I had diarrhea! Goldilocks, please stop selling old food! You could poison your customers!
I regularly buy a choc cake..coz it makes me feel that I'm home..but the one that I bought that is on their shelve last fathers day and when we ate it the icing is so dry and the cake is so hard it's not the same that I usually bought..and I found out that there is no sticker of the expiration date..I called and look for the mgr and the lady said that the mgr is not around and she is the supervisor..so I told her the issue and she said that they can't do anything about this..so dissapointing I might not going to but cake coz I got trauma..I can't even identify if the cake is already expired or not coz no sticker of expiration..
Kababayan!! I soooo wanted to be taken back to my roots. While in the Bay Area for business I went out of my way to visit an iconic chain for my Pinoy food fix - gosh I was really disappointed. Maybe it was the fact it was a Tuesday in the middle of the day?! Zero flavor dinuguan. Stale lumpia. My people!?!?
I bought two Mocha roll on 7/14 but try to open it on the 7/17 but found out it got molds on it and went back to the store on 7/18, i did not call the store about the issue coz anyway i’m going there. they don’t want to refund both purchase coz i did not call. the Manager is not around. the Supervisor said i might mishandle the product putting it on hot place. i’ve been buying this item often and its the first time i encountered this. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO THESE STORE….
I try the arrozcaldo and i was expecting like Philippines arrozcaldo because it’s filipino food restaurant. but the taste is plain porridge 😤 you will do the taste😡 Philippine arrozcaldo is with the taste of chicken broth and flavorful.. better to change the name in the menu, put LUGAW..

Came here on a Sunday afternoon to get a vegetarian dish called laing, cost $11+ for 1 order & I received it in a room temperature setting, tasted like it was sitting around for a while, this place used to be good, what happened 😬🤔
Pork barbecue wasn’t I expected too not a real Filipino barbecue looks like they just put some mafran sauce. The banana q is hard and doesn’t taste as real banana cue. Sorry but I won’t recommend this place to anyone at all, Bad cook. Maybe their pastry is good I didn’t have that 🤑🤑🤑👎👎👎
