Waitstaff and food are excellent, with a fantastic view of Dana Point and there is always something to see in the harbor. Brand new parking garage with 4 hours free. Very nice for a date or group.

I had a great experience at Wind n Sea Restaurant. The oceanfront location is incredible and instantly sets the mood, especially around sunset. Sitting there with the waves in the background really makes it feel like a true coastal escape. The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh and the portions were generous. The seafood was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the drinks paired really well with the meal. You can tell this place has been doing it right for a long time. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone visiting Dana Point or looking for a great oceanfront restaurant.

This is a great stop for a late lunch or early dinner. The menu was sublime with a good range of appetizers and entrees that are good enough as a snack or a full meal without breaking the bank. The cocktails were varied and delicious. I recommend their version of the Old Fashioned. Very nice! Also, you can't beat the view. Water views throughout the indoor restaurant. There's also an outdoor patio that has a party vibe. If you're at Dana Point, stop here. You may likely need a reservation because it is very popular.

Wind & Sea is one of those places that never misses. Amazing food, friendly service, and a relaxed coastal vibe that fits Dana Point perfectly. Turks in Dana Point is exactly the kind of bar where you walk in for “just one drink” and somehow end up solving life’s problems with a stranger named Captain Ron. The vibe? We had the fish and chips. It was very good. The service was fast and the place was packed. They have a full bar and seating inside and outside for drinks. Food service for the inside. The restaurant is right by the water and the boat dock. A beautiful view!!

It's an iconic place on the water in Dana Point with a super cool vibe and the walls decorated with all kinds of vintage art and pictures and goldfish tanks on the ceiling. Food was good and the service was too even though the lone waitress (was there twice so both times) seemed a bit overwhelmed. I had the shrimp scampi special , bottle of wine, zucchini sticks and the homemade chowder which was great. Their staple dish is Fish & Chips but it was too deep fried and breaded for my taste. The Californian Sandwich was incredible though. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very reasonable priced, this place is not just for tourist but also for locals. Interior has lots of characters, I don't know American stars/ artists well so I don't know if they are famous. Just found the posters and pictures pretty cool! Staff are very nice and helpful. They will have a casual conversation with you at the bar. Didn't try the food so cannot comment on food but drinks are great!

Steak was yummy but the veggies were cold/barely cooked. Our daughters fish and chips were great, I dont usually like tartar sauce but this one was good! Server was okay had to ask for things a couple times but he was nice

We went there with 2adults and 2kids. As soon as we stepped in, elegant hawaiian style beauty welcomed us and led us to table. We felt so welcome. Then server Zander came in no time. We ordered two kids menu, clam chowder, lobster tail, and hawaiian chicken. Zander didn't even write them down and managed to memorize all! He was very kind and he showed up quickly only when we wanted something. Just proper service i would want. I don't want to be bothered too much and still don't want to wait for too long time and he did a perfect job. Well, now let's talk about food. First of all, lobster tail did not have price tag so i thought it would be around 50$ (other menu mostly 20-30$ range). However, i realized it was $79 after i received a bill. Well, then considering the cost, i have to say something. It was a bit chewy.... Flavor was great though. Just kids refused to eat after chew it a bit. Clam chowder was great, and everyone liked it. I wish i ordered two. Mac&cheese was a bit chewy or hard but still, tasty. Hot dog was good. Chicken was very tasty but still a bit dry and chewy so failed to feed kids. Overall, flavor was great and very tasty, but i struggled to share our food to kids :( lobster price was way over my expectation but it is ok. It is lobster. My wife and i enjoyed eating anyway! ;)

When you walk in, it’s clear that it’s a locals hang out. Music is loud, people at the bar are chatting with the staff, everyone is having a good time. Service isn’t super speedy and food isn’t gormet, but if you want decent drinks and some good fish and chips or clam chowder, this is your place! Views outside are amazing as well.

Fun place with local vibe. Funky enough to scare away the tourists. Fish was fresh. I think the fish n chips is the call. They were packed on a Friday at noon. The bar as well as the tables. Lots of cool old photos on the walls.

I was disappointed. I went in for my birthday celebration dinner ( we notified them when we scheduled on Open Table where we asked for a window view). The booth was nice but not next to the windows. I ordered the poké appetizer which I enjoyed. They never brought my husbands bread that he ordered for his appetizer. I ordered grilled swordfish and Brian ordered chicken. The plates looked identical except for the proteins. Made it feel like an old folks home dinner plate with half of both plates filled with basic rice and 7 spears of boiled asparagus. We were never asked if we wanted more wine and no one ever even said Happy Birthday. Not exactly special.

I ordered the Swordfish. The rice had good flavor, the Asparagus was delicious, but the Swordfish was small and dry. I squeezed lemon on it, but it didn't help. Just dry. My waitress asked if I wanted a refill on my Coke, but brought back a Dr Pepper. For desert I ordered the Brownie....delicious and very filling. But, left unhappy.

When we arrived there was 2 people in 1 booth, a couple at the bar and then the 2 of us. When we arrived it was 3:56. It took 8 mins to get anyone to notice us and that 8 mins put us over the 4:00 lunch menu and Areil, the waitress said it was over. She didn’t offer to speak to a mgr for us. So we had to order from the dinner menu. I ordered a cheeseburger medium. It came out dry, overcooked and cold. I needed some salad dressing to moisten the burger and since Ariel, was more interested in chatting with the 2 guys in a cubby hole table and also the bartender than taking care of us, I had to go find her and get my dressing. The music was extremely loud. Why did it have to be that loud. We asked to have it turned down and it was but it wasn’t long that it was turned up loud again. It was annoying loud. Ariel never came around to see if everything was ok or did we need anything. She came by when we were finished eating. Food was overcooked and Cold. Took too long to get waited on and also get our food. The waitress isn’t a very good waitress. Wanted to flirt with the guys . Get someone in there that knows how to do the job.

Me and my husband went to Turks on a Saturday night, a 60+ year old waitress decided to hit on my husband (we’re 30) and tell him that I was a bother to him and he could do so much better with her. He then saw her spit in my drink and serve it to us. This was the rudest person I have ever interacted with. This is why I had to write a review. Now, I try to be the most understanding person, maybe she was having a bad day, maybe she’s depressed and lonely, but this was way too far. She needs to be fired. Letting this place hire someone so low-class and embarrassing is a disgrace to Turks. I do not recommend coming here if you want kind service and a clean drink.
