We just became aware Mangia mi is now open for lunch! The al fresco cafe experience was wonderful—people-watching , dogs parading, babies strolling by. Our server, Stephanie, was so amiable and attentive it was like eating at a friend’s home. And the food was simply out of this world. Paninis made with everything fresh. The grilled chicken pesto and heirloom tomato sandwiches we had were not only very generous, but extraordinarily delicious. Even the side salad was elegant—arugula with crumbled blue cheese, candied walnuts and slices of apple. Do yourself a favor and go there before lunch service is discovered and you can’t get a table.

**Review for Mangia Mi** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mangia Mi never disappoints, and Stephanie truly went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable! We didn’t reserve the cottage, but she worked her magic and made it happen. The atmosphere and décor are absolutely stunning—such a cozy yet elegant vibe. The food? Incredible! My favorite was the chicken Marsala, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. And the pesto sauce? OMG, you *have* to try it—it’s out of this world! Thank you, Stephanie, and the entire Mangia Mi team, for another amazing experience. I can’t wait to come back!

We had a family dinner for 9 and everything was wonderful! The homemade pasta was delicious. The seafood options were perfectly prepared. The pizza looked great but I didn’t try it. The portions are huge and we all brought home leftovers. You could order less then we did, and leave satisfied. Desserts were a little disappointing, but by that point we were so full it didn’t matter.

LOVE THIS PLACE! I'm an Italian au pair currently living in the States and tonight I came here to have dinner with my host family. First time having dinner out since I got here. I couldn't have had better night. I had Gnocchi al Gorgonzola and gosh, those were delicious, almost tasted like home if it wasn't for the parmesan cause there was too much but I LOVED them! Then I fell in love with the Buttercream Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream on top. The kids didn't eat everything so we bought the leftovers home! The staff was so nice and kind and we had so much fun talking with them! Alexandria served us and she was amazing! This is the kind of staff I like to meet when I go to a restaurant. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING US! I'll definitely be back to have that buttercream cake again!😍

I have been a Mangia Mi customer since the day they opened in Danville. The quality of their dishes as well as the incredible customer service has remained impeccable. The lasagna is the best I have ever tasted! The ambience at this restaurant is amazing. There is warmth here because Peter, Stephanie, and the Mangia Mi staff want you to enjoy your experience. If you love Italian food-look no further. This is the place for you!

Mangia Mi in Walnut Creek is a true gem! We Loved our stuffed peppers, the house salad with Gorgonzola and bacon, but the real stand out was the short rib raviolis. Wow. You will want to ensure a workout tomorrow after those but worth it. What really sets this place apart is the service. The servers are friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about making your dining experience special. We give this place an A plus.

it was my mum's 65th birthday and we had a wonderful time, Stephanie was great and supported our meal with top tier service, including extras for sides like bacon and tiramisu, and generally providing excellent service. we sat inside "the cottage," which was more private and secluded from the main restaurant. the music was a good volume, the food was excellent and largely portioned, and the overall vibe of the place was friendly and fancy. we will be coming back here.

Had a fantastic meal here, great service, really good food. The staff were very friendly, took the time to actually converse and share their favorite foods as well. Good service is one thing, but when people take the time to have a real conversation, it makes things even better. Definitely a place worth visiting often.

There is nothing pretentious about this food, just delicious, filling, AMAZING Italian. When my husband and I have a night to ourselves, we love to go and sit at the bar for dinner. When we have our big family of eaters across the spectrum of taste (I e picky and non picky kids), all have something they LOVE on the menu. Drinks are great, ambience is cozy, bread and dip spot on, desserts are GOOD, service is prompt and they really really care how you enjoyed your meal and experience! A lot of love goes into this restaurant and you can tell!! High recommend!!!!

The atmosphere of Mangia Mi was very nice. We got a table outside, the weather was pleasant and scenery was nice. The food was not that great; the alfredo spaghetti didn’t have any flavor, but the springtime risotto was pretty good. All in all, an okay restaurant that we probably not come to again.

Went out for my birthday dinner,bruschetta was very sour. Pastas were good. They were out of most the desserts. The staff was great.
