Great icecream shop at Davis downtown, very convenient location! We tried Coffee Oreo and Ube, both are delicious!

This homey feeling ice cream shop brings a nice vibe into downtown davis. The homemade ice cream has a wonderful taste and a reasonable price! I recommend the mint chip ice cream. A simple ice cream flavor can be changed to a wonderful, flavorful flavor! Definitely recommend for a night time snack for family!

Amazing ice cream, so great service with wonderful people, and great atmosphere. Some flavors change every week but they also keep some delicious traditional flavors. 100% recommend this spot!!

dropped by here twice while i was visiting! cute interior and friendly staff. they were giving our samples for their annual taste-off and they have all been delicious! i got chocolate and coffee oreo, coffee oreo was buss definitely try that out. it’s so fresh and milky. stop by here on a hot day😋🤗

I love to get one scoop with two flavors ($4.25) which is really sweet price. I really love going spring time because of the tea flavors like oolong, jasmine tea. There are also deals from Monday - Friday ranging from discounted pints to single scoops. On Monday's 5-10pm, single scoops is $3.25. The place is super vibrant with many items to purchase such as plushies, soaps, cards, etc. Expect waits, but the lines moves pretty quickly and there's a lot of variety of flavors to choose from. No seating indoors, but there's seating outside. Currently, ice cream bracketology is happening which is finding the new best ice flavor for this year. Customers get to submit new flavors a few weeks prior to bracketology starting. Two samples per person. I suggest you get a waffle cone (+1.75) because it's made fresh daily, I also get slightly larger scoops too. Make sure to grab a stamp card too if you go often!

Ordering is super easy and efficient too. I also appreciate how you can split scoops (like you can get a single scoop but split it in half to get different flavors). Davis creamery has been my and my husband's favorite ice cream place ever since we met in college 10 years ago. We booked them to cater for our wedding and it was an amazing experience. We are so happy they were able to accommodate us since their ice cream was a date "staple" for years of our lives.

A scoop costs $3.50 (on a cup or cone) but the friendly staff really maximize cone space - the amount and taste is quite worth the price. From their wide selection of flavors of the day (I was super tempted by cookie butter), I settled on the avocado coconut with a sugar cone. It was a delightful, refreshing scoop of pure joy that truly lives up to their name of "creamery" with how rich and creamy it tasted. Outdoor seating is available and this was a popular spot for ice cream over the weekend with families enjoying their scoop at the provided tables. Will definitely be back to try out more flavors and cool down during hot days!

Their avocado ice cream is some of the best I've ever had. It's not too creamy but it's not too sweet either. I really enjoy the vibe of this place too because it feels local. I love walking here and just seeing all my fellow college students enjoying a nice school of ice cream.

This place often holds fundraisers for clubs at the university, and lets you try samples of the ice cream for free before buying! My favorite flavor was the coconut cream pie

Lots of different ice cream to choose from. The cone and ice cream was good but i am not blown away. The service was nice aswell and they have cute Davis stickers.

This place is very good for family to hang out and have ice cream. They have all kind of flavors, but don't go on a busy day cause the line can be very long! 😕

We were there in November but we can't remember what we got. The line was long but moved quickly. We went again this week and the Oreo coffee was REALLY good. The chocolate and the Chips Ahoy cookies and cream were just okay. Service was just okay.

Staff could be a little more accommodating. Whipped cream was empty, chocolate sause was empty and we still paied the full price. But taste was great!

A landmark in Davis, this place is THE ice cream place in the town. Large assortment of options that keep on getting rotated weekly. One major criticism I would give, however, is the lack of vegan options: there are only two, and they are almost always sorbets, or weird muddy ice creams. Should invest more into the vegan options. Otherwise, great place! Edit: the waffle cone is a must try!

Got some ice cream here with my kids. It was really good. It's a popular place, and I got a ube in a cup. My son got a cookies and cream waffle cone. The ube was solid, and I think it sets Davis Creamery apart from the other ice cream places. Give it a try!

Local favorite that is known for their avocado coconut. They have a wide range of rotating flavors that are rather unique like root beer and sweet potato casserole. Each person can have 2 samples. Fun story: the owner lost a poker hand against friends so he invented the avocado coconut flavor

I am really going to miss this place now that I’m leaving Davis. The quality and variety of ice cream is top notch. Service is fast even when the line runs out the door! I wish the outdoor eating area/parklet were kept in better condition as it always feels dirty and the garbage cans are full. I usually get mine to go. There is no indoor seating.

I brought my daughter here for her birthday ice cream and honestly it was a slight disappointment the girls that were there seemed more into talking to themselves then paying attention to what was said to them! Maybe a bad time since it was a Sunday on a holiday weekend so we will try again when we are up that way However the ice cream was ok but the cookies and cream tasted kinda odd definitely not the taste of cookies and cream and the chocolate was kinda biter

The last time I came in here the two young kids working looked at each other and called out “nose goes” to compete for who had to actually help take our order. Honestly how can you make scooping ice cream hostile and unenjoyable? Anyways, I’ve been here many times and I love the flavors. I don’t usually have an issue with the staff. But the MOST important comment I have is that the freezers are set at a temperature way too high and the ice cream is already melted by the time it is scooped. It’s getting worse as well. The freezers need to be replaced or something.

There is a difference between hot fudge and warmed chocolate sauce. Please educate your employees so that they may adequately represent the products available for purchase. This establishment has warmed chocolate sauce which is obviously far inferior to hot fudge. The topping volumes on my sundae were also lackluster. Never again Davis Creamery.

You can actually see them creating pockets of air folding the ice cream and then not pushing it down leaving huge empty spaces at the bottom. Then they add more on top and smear it over rather than again pushing it down. This effectively makes it look like a full quart when in reality it 25-35% air. I bet this makes them a lot of money while ripping off customers who aren't getting what they paid for. It sad really. I used to love going here. From now on I think I'll just go to the gelato place by the theatre. Shorter lines and well packed pints.
