Indoor seating has the benefit of being next to the salsa bar, but outdoor seating is available. I got a take-out order of three quesabirria tacos for $11.45 (before tax). This is a new menu item and was recommended to me by their very friendly staff. I was initially overwhelmed by the wide selection of items on their menu and the counter staff was helpful, patient in helping me order. I pass on their recommendation to you, the quesabirria tacos are truly worth a trip here. Tender, slow-cooked beef with aromatic spices paired with a corn tortilla and complemented with a drizzle of melted cheese. Even before dipping into the consommé, the tacos were flavorful on their own. Dipping it elevates the taste as the consommé coats and soaks into the tortilla as if it was meant to be a pair. Onions and lime were served on the side, a welcome addition to cut through the oil of the consommé. They also provide a spicy sauce that could be poured onto the taco or into the consommé. El Burrito Taqueria is a great, affordable option for Mexican food! Quick wait time too, it only took about 15 minutes to prepare my order.

You HAVE to try their Quesabirria tacos. I can't stress how delicious this was. It is crunchy but soft with cheese and the meat was super tender. The price was steep but it has a good amount of protein and it's completely worth it. We also had the wet burrito with green sauce. We got there before it got busy so it wasn't too bad. We will definitely be coming back for these items again.

We ordered boiled chicken crispy tacos yesterday (9/18/25) and they were delicious!!! My son loved them so much we visited for a second round today! Unfortunately, for the past year or two I have found them to be TOO SALTY, but they honestly must have made some changes this week because the boiled chicken was seasoned perfectly on our recent visit. We are hoping that they will be consistent with this seasoning so we can return and enjoy! Facility is clean and open. Nice place for a quick and casual meal.

Come for the birria- nice. Had the sandwich, super, and it was delicious. Hot sauces were really spicy not actually medium. Nice place.

This restaurant is chain would be my second or third choice to order authentic Mexican food if my other favorite options were not operating. My only complaint is the spiciest salsa is not hot enough and tends to have black pepper corn flavor, which isn't appealing to my taste buds. Although the food in general is flavorful that is accomplished with few ingredients. Their tacos and quesabirria is a must try and will not disappoint. The picture speaks for itself.

This place is overrated on Google! I always read reviews before going to a restaurant, and today I was disappointed. I ordered the 3 Quesabirria and the Fajita plate. The Quesabirria was below average—you could barely taste the cheese, and it was way toooo oily. I also didn’t like that they served it with double tortillas. The Fajita plate was better; the chicken was well-cooked, and the rice wasn’t bad. Overall, it was an average experience, and I feel misled by the previous reviews.

Only due to the covid-19 restrictions, the place was fairly empty, ordered asada fries 🍟and fish 🌮tacos. Huge portions. The corn tortilla was soggy it made it hard to roll the fish tacos. Prices are ok. Plenty of available in and outdoors seating located in the heart of Davis.

Worst place to get a coqtel. I paid $17 for hot broth with shrimp and avocado. So not worth it. My husband had a wet burrito which was good. Their pozole is decent too. But I am so upset that I sent $17 on hot broth with shrimp n avocado when I was supposed to have a cool coqtel with shrimp, octopus, tomate cucumber, n avocado flavored with ketchup n clamato.

Wayyyy overpriced for what it is. $17 total for a skinny underfilled floppy burrito is insane. They charge an extra $1.20 for meat on top of the base price that's already $14, and there's not even much meat in there, mostly beans. $14 for a burrito and not including meat is crazy. The flavor is ok, not bad. There are other places with cheaper prices and better flavor, so don't come here for mexican food
