I love this place and definitely coming back. I got a Torta of Carnitas it was AMAZING! OH MY GOODNESS the shakes were delicious too. Banana mixed with hot fudge shake is good and their strawberry is to die for. I'd definitely recommend this place!
This is a very nice old style hamburger place. They offer a big menu of items. We got dipped cones, burgers, Mexican dinner plate. And it was just a nice time and place.
This is a place with delicious Burgers but also true authentic tacos and burritos. We gets Frosty's or milkshakes frequently, which is a big plus and delicious! The service was good and helpful. I highly recommend this place
The service was not that great, i feel like they want you in and out but at the same time they had good food, and you can sit outside. I didn't have to wait long for everything and the food tasted fresh, good price for what you get it wasn't a huge Burger but it was a tasty burger.
The menu has changed somewhat. My husband and I had the tamale plates, absolutely delicious and homemade. Finished off with a chocolate and vanilla swirl cone!
The place is low key, but they make a very good bacon cheeseburger at decent price. They actually have a very extensive menu including some very delicious Mexican food.
I ordered carnitas tacos (combo #3) & a polish dog. Very tasty! I didn't even know they had Mexican food there now.
This is a great little drive in with hispanic and american menu.Nothing bad to eat here...everything I've eaten was delicious.Street tacos aremy favorite then chille rellenos ala carte for 5.00 bucks...cant beat it.
Soft serve chocolate ice cream on a really warm day helps me keep my cool. Also, try their churros, there's a creamy filling surprise!
Great little joint. Typical local dive w/ an assortment of American and Mexican food. Their milkshakes are delish. Kids love their burgers and quesadillas. I like the shredded beef burrito. The large burritos are HUGE.
Their Cheese burger is great, their fruit smoothies is so refreshing and their ethnic food is always desirable. My favorite is chicken enchilada plate_ it's consistently tasty and good. I love their specialty drinks especially the pina colada. The owners are local, friendly, sweet and hard working fellas.
I hope they never change. A staple of my childhood & heart. ❤️
Great food for the price. Milkshakes were delicious. Will come back.
Really great Mexican food I Love this Place
Good old fashioned frosty burger and fries. Cant go wrong with small fries and a cheeseburger for 7$

Great family ran business!!!Mexican &burgers and fries +beer something for everyone 😋
Very tasty food and drinks served up at Deb's Frosty. I had the cheeseburger and fries with an orange Fanta. All were served up quickly. The burger and fries were fresh and very tasty. Ingredients were all very good including the burger, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and bun. Before leaving I purchased a mango smoothie which definitely hit the spot on a hot day. Definitely give them a chance with your next run through town as their menu has something for everyone at affordable prices. Plenty of parking out front and clean tables and restrooms inside.
Deb's is a precious little gem in our community. The food is always delicious and fresh and the staff is always friendly and efficient. We've been coming for years and couldn't imagine this town without it! If you go, be sure to try the deep fried mushrooms and zucchini! Perfect each and every time!
We got the fried zucchini, pastrami Reuben and caramel sundae. Yummy! Decent prices. Lots of Mexican food available too. Kid options. If I were the owner, I'd deep clean the restrooms and dining room (which makes you think that the kitchen needs it too!) and repaint. Lots of customers at 3pm on a Saturday. If I lived close I'd be here all the time.
Love this place!!!! My family and I discovered this place when I went to a new to me dentist near by. The milk shake are amazing!!! We are slowly trying everything from the menu. The other day we had gotten the BBQ Burger and some tamales both wonderful! I can't wait til next payday to go back and try more.
Best chile relleno anywhere, ever. Seriously, this is what me and my girl use as a benchmark to rate other places CR’s. Everywhere else somehow falls short, which is inexplicable since this is historically a burger place, lol Additionally their shakes are superbomb as is their soft serve.
Nice little burger joint in diamond springs. They also have other stuff other than just burgers, hotdogs and such. I am new to California and this place was a nice little gem to find. I will definitely be back! The lady at the register was super awesome and gave my daughter a candy cane and ice cream.
The burgers are SO good and the bacon is next level, their Mexican food looks really good as well
Great food fast friendly service but inside the building is a bit dark for my liking. Plenty of tables to die in though so all together I give it five stars.

Looked at the menu on line, saw that they had Mexican food so I placed a togo order. I know when you think of Frosty, Burgers and Fries come to mind. Recon you got fried taters in there? LOL Anyway, I got the combo taco's beans and rice. Very authentic great salsa. Meat was tender.I will be back. If your in the area give it a try. Oh and they do have fries burgers and dogs for the little ones LOL
I've Loved this place since I was a kid it's been through a lot of changes since then. But the food is still good and they have a metal awning setup to one side to park under. And the Mexican food isn't bad.
There are pictures of this place all over gold country from the 50s and the outside hasnt changed much. But it isnt as hip as it was back in the day, still has the drive in stalls, just no service outdoors anymore. Place still serves very good deserts and burgers for a good price. They do traditional Latino plates too. Good burrito.
We stop in there once a month best deep fryer zucchini I've ever had ! They also make Mexican food that's amazing ! There prices are great ! And Deb is so sweet !
I like the food here, in an old building but don't let that fool you, give them a try
Burger was a bit well done, but decent. Plenty of toppings. Tasted great. It was no frills, no gimmicks and sometimes that's what your after.
I worked there in the 70s and loved it. Didn't care for the owner back then but enjoyed the cheese burger meal today. Preferred a larger cup of soda but other than that it was good
The food is okay, pretty basic but still nice, the shakes on the other hand are great, a little thick but give it 5 minutes and your ready to go, good flavors. I've had a few from here and I would recommend the butterscotch 100%, good altogether would recommend
This place took me back in time when I walked in. I grew up in the south with little "burger" joints like Deb's. I had a regular cheeseburger with onion rings. The burger was delicious, nothing fancy, just a good ol' fashioned cheeseburger. The onion rings were crispy and wonderful.

I'd say it's more like a small diner. We got shakes, I ordered a chocolate strawberry and all I could taste was chocolate. Husband ordered a chocolate shake and he said it was good.
Burger was meh, they forgot our shakes and when I asked for "chili cheese fries" they gave me bean fries🤣 I guess they call that chili. They do have a pineapple shake that's awesome! The customer services was great. The food just wasn't good.
The food is amazing! They wouldve got 5 stars if their staff wasnt so horrid! The only nice one is this wonderful lady named Michelle.
Not bad for what it is, decently priced, food is pretty good for greasy food, shakes are good workers are good, should give free refills on the drinks though imo.just saying
The place was okay. I had a few issues. I ordered two ice creams & a frostee, assuming it would be a blended drink like an icee, but it turned out to be just another shake. The staff didn’t ask if I wanted something else, so I ended up tossing it. Also, they don’t give you a receipt, which made me wonder if I was overcharged. $15 for three items seems way too high. I don't plan to stop here again.

The girl who was working was sweeping when we got there, and she made us stand there until she was done. It took a good 5 minutes, and she never even acknowledged us. Then she didn't wash her hands before making our ice cream cones. I say 2 stars, though, because the ice cream was yummy.
It very warm inside making it hard to eat. Service was good. Food was just okay.
This place is run down, overpriced and the food is not that great. I stopped in because it looked nostalgic. Like a cool little, retro place. It's just old. On a warm but not hot day it was boiling inside. Furniture not something you'd want to sit on unless you're in your dirty work clothes. The bathroom was a hot mess. Walls have holes. Dirty and old everything. Lots could be fixed by some paint. But it just looks like the owners don't care or don't want to invest any money into it. If it was fixed up and good quality improved, more people would probably eat there and they could be more profitable.
We went here and we were told that they only have the small size frosty. The blackberry sundae was vanilla ice cream and jelly from a jar. Chili cheese fries were just fried with CANNED beans on it. Only thing good was the cheeseburgers. 47 dollars for 3 tiny frostys, 2 burgers, and some chili cheese fries. We will go to In-N-Out next time.
They charge extra when you ask for something plain, at least via DoorDash. Aside from that nonsense, I recommend their burgers and most of their Mexican food, but their sides need some definite work. Most of their sides taste like cardboard or leave a bad taste in your mouth. Plus their large sundaes would be a large for toddlers, at best. They definitely need to step it up in more ways than one.

If I could give less stars i would. It used to be burgers and shakers , ice cream. Like a old time skate car hop kind of place. Even when Nina owned it it was amazing I worked there food was amazing so was places and service. Now it's almost all Mexican food with some burgers and melty ice cream. Also closed most days. I dont even know if they still have car shows once a month anymore. If I could give the food no stars I would.
Out house hunting saw this lil burger joint(always looking for some good burgers & stuff) Menu looked good... - Mom ordered Fish&Chips(bad idea) 3 lil fish frozen in middle, old fries(like they were sitting under heat lamp) w/no salt but the tartar sauce was 👍 -Cheeseburger Special for the kid....ordered NO onion! Got onion! More bun than burger, fries again were old & the coke was just...blah "old" -Pastrami Burger w/side of mushrooms & ranch for Dad.........he said it was ok. mushrooms good. Dad was only one who finished his meal😧
5:00pm holiday weekend, 1car leaving, ours was the only one left. Looks like the place was closing, the very nice girl says it's been dead all day and prob gonna close @ 6pm. 2 personal red flags. A lot to choose from the tasty looking menu, had a clean bathroom & ordering counter. Food was pricey should be good at least, right? Disappointingly not. $37+ tip for a family of 4. I was so hungry & didn't finish my sandwich or painfully crunchy/stale fries & I didn't order a beverage. This was a 1 timer for our family. Wish we kept on driving and listened to our gut. :-( we had high hopes for the cute little dive. Hope you have a better experience.
I hate to complain. You will see most of my reviews are good ones. Mediocre service/products don't merit a review one way or the other. It takes a lot to get me to write a bad review, But Debs Frosty does warrant a bad review. The hot pastrami sandwich with cheese required us going back in for the....cheese. ugh... The patty melt was unremarkable, and the chocolate milkshake was made with chocolate soft serve (instead of vanilla soft serve with chocolate syrup. I mean...cmon) The service was pretty bad, I am genuinely sorry to say. Uninformed about their own menu, and she seemed to be u inspired to help us. Lastly, the restaurant smelled of mildew and sewage. Very disturbing. Again, I pains me to say all that.
Worst customer service I've ever received. The young girl up front could definitely use an attitude adjustment. Inside the place is NASTY! Bathrooms are the worst part. Pretty upsetting for my first and ONLY visit. Their prices were not the same as they advertise. The snobby girl working the counter was extremely rude and unprofessional. Especially when I asked for my receipt. 😡

This place has so much potential but it's owners are terrible business owners. They do not follow their own posted hours, and close far to early, even on the weekends. They will say their closing at 6pm, you can show up at 5:15pm and they'll already be closed. The inside is always freezing in the winter and hot in the summer. It's dirty, they don't turn all the lights on and you can tell the oil in the fryer gets used a little to long. It's sad because the burgers are good, and Diamond Springs desperately needs more restaurants, but this one is ridiculous. Why own a restaurant if you won't even stay open past 5:30pm?
My GF and I spending the day enjoying the area, we got hungry so decided to go online check out what good eats were in the area and Debs Frosty came up so we decided to check it out, according to the website they were supposed to be open, but to our disappointment when we drove up the parking lot was completely empty the open sign was on, but not a sole in site, doors were locked. So probably won't be going back to this location, Frosty of Angel's camp is the place to be.
