We hosted a company event at Kuba Cabana with over 30 guests and gave them less than 24 hours' notice (yes, you read that right), and the team absolutely crushed it. From the moment we reached out, the hostess and her phenomenal crew jumped into action. They created a custom 3-course menu with showstopping appetizers, entrées that had everyone raving, perfectly paired drinks, and desserts that ended the night on a sweet high. Every detail was thought through, and every guest felt taken care of. The hostess was a rockstar – sharp, responsive, and deeply tuned in to the vibe of the room. She anticipated our guests’ needs before we even had to ask. The manager was also incredibly accommodating and made the planning process seamless. As for the food? Hands down, some of the best in the area. Each dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and served hot and fresh despite our large party size. Every dish was absolutely delicious! My friends and I ordered a bunch of things from the menu to be able to share/try. The pricing was extremely reasonable for the quality of food and service. We ate outside on the terrace and were able to take our time with all of our courses. There was live music playing towards the end of our visit. We have decided to make visiting this restaurant a tradition anytime we are in Miami!

Our experience at the restaurant started off poorly when I arrived and the hostess was attempting to sit five of us in a small table that was made to seat two. The hostess seemed flustered and unsure of what to do, leaving us all feeling frustrated and uncertain about the rest of our evening. Luckily, Diyani the manager stepped in and handled the situation with grace and professionalism. She apologized for the mistake and personally escorted us to the bar, making sure that we felt valued and taken care of. Once at the bar she offered us a round of free shots while she went off to find us a perfect table. Ultimately she sat us at the beautiful and spacious semicircle booth. Claudia, our waitress, was equally attentive and helpful throughout the meal. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, ensuring that we all had a delicious and satisfying dining experience. Despite the rocky start, we left the restaurant feeling impressed by the level of service and attention to detail provided by Diyani and Claudia. Their efforts turned what could have been a disappointing evening into a memorable and enjoyable one. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by these two individuals.

When I asked to be moved, we were offered a different table still under the same leak, this time next to a fire extinguisher, despite plenty of open seating elsewhere. Staff ended up wiping down the AC in front of us, which felt quite unprofessional. As for the food, it was just okay but significantly overpriced for the quality. The menu was limited, and I didn’t particularly enjoy any of the dishes we tried. The churrasco was probably the best item, but it’s something you can find elsewhere at half the price. The soup arrived cold, the smoked dip was too salty, the wagyu appetizer was average, the chuleta was dry, and the lamb chops were underwhelming. The drinks were overly fruity and not well balanced. We also paid for a birthday add-on that included a sign, shot, and dessert. The shot tasted like medicine, and no one asked us what kind we preferred. The flan that came with it was not good either, and the entire experience wasn’t worth the $50 price tag. Lastly, we had been looking forward to the advertised entertainment, which was supposed to start at 10 PM. We stayed until around 11, but nothing happened. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. For the amount you’ll spend, there are far better options with better service, food, and atmosphere.

I made a dinner reservation at Kuba Cabana in Doral prior to their 10:00pm event for my birthday. My group and I spent over $600 on dinner and drinks in the two hours leading up to the event. We understood that dinner and the ticketed event were separate. That was fine. What was not fine was what happened next. I had already purchased a “6 People Table” ticket online for the event. The ticket clearly states “6 People Table.” There was absolutely no disclosure during checkout that this only meant the “right” to a table. When we arrived for the event portion, the hostess told us that in order to actually sit at the table we purchased, we were required to buy bottle service. For the two tables our group needed, that meant over $700 more on the spot. She even stated that it’s the restaurant’s policy to have guests buy tickets online first and then explain how it “really works” at the door. So to summarize: • We spent $600+ on dinner. • We paid in advance for a 6-person table. • We were then told we don’t get the table unless we spend $700 more. That is a blatant bait-and-switch. I was put in an impossible position in front of my birthday guests — pay up or ruin the night. If tables require mandatory bottle service, that must be clearly disclosed before purchase. Selling something labeled “6 People Table” and redefining it upon arrival is deceptive and unethical. Absolutely unacceptable business practice.

A friend and I stopped by for the first time and left disappointed. We briefly went inside to look around (no one greeted us), then chose to sit outside since it was a beautiful evening and the patio looked inviting. Before sitting down, my friend confirmed with the hostess that it was okay for us to sit there, and she said it was fine. We sat outside for 30 to 45 minutes catching up and were never acknowledged. No hello, no water, no offer of drinks or food. Nothing. Being ignored for that long makes guests feel unwelcome. BASIC hospitality was completely missing. I won’t be returning and would not recommend this place based on the lack of customer service.
