The tall, older gentleman working the drivethru when I came by at 10:30 this night was the most pleasant person. He was cheerful, down-to-earth, and just made my day with his naturally good nature.

This young man was quite a gentleman, he took the time to walk my elderly mother into the hospital on a completely voluntary basis. He even refused to accept a tip from my mom as he could tell she's on a fixed budget. Very commendable character. Truly an asset to your organization and an exceptional work ethic. Good for a late night quick bite (or not so late). I opt for the original Del Taco, as it hits the spot to satisfy my hunger, with a little protein, without spiking blood sugar substantially.

Delicious food! You can't go wrong for a fast bite. If you love Taco Bell I like Taco Bell this is just about the same. What I like about Del taco is that they have burgers and fries on their menu, and probably some other options. You can't go wrong and plus the price is pretty fair. I feel that the prices are more conservative than Taco Bell, but I like Taco Bell too, don't get me wrong. You have a lot of choices to make here at Del Taco. The prices are so awesome!

Okay, let me start by saying I went to the drive-thru of Del Taco at 1am in the morning. I've been to fast food restaurants at night time and even during the day sometimes the people working the night shift are either sleepy or they simply sound as if they don't Want to be there....well it wasn't the case with this gentleman at Del Taco. We didn't know exactly what we wanted we don't usually frequent Del Taco so we don't really know their menu by heart, so we took our time trying to decide...let me tell you from the moment we pull in the drive-thru the guy taking our order was sooo energetic and kind. He gave us recommendations, he was funny, polite and overall really a professional to the point that even my 10yr old son said "This man is my favorite fast food worker I've ever met, can we come again?" We had the best customer experience at 1am from Del Taco all thanks to the gentleman who was working the night shift. We recommend this location, specially if you want to get good quality food as well as an outstanding customer service.

The store was nice and clean. Maria at the register was quick and efficient with taking down my order accurately (the receipt said Daniela but I was just going by name tags). My burritos and tacos came out to order fast and they were delicious! Would definitely come to this Del Taco again soon 😊 Thank you guys for the great service and quality dining!

Combo deals are good! Love there fries 🍟 We think they fill up their tacos more then Taco Bell does. 🤷‍♀️Had the combo with 2 tacos, fries and a drink. I also had a crunchtasda (tostada). Been wanting to try them and they did not disappoint me. It was good!

Del taco was fresh and delicious staff was awesome my first time at this location even these two men were there and they were so friendly they talked to us like they already knew us we had 30minutes to wait before we could check into the embassy suite so dining at del taco was great. My only thing is more cheese not enough cheese in my burrito or my Tostada they are famous for having thee Best cheese I luv cheese

I just left this location a few mins ago, I ordered a deluxe chili cheese fries and a taco and the gentleman with glasses took my order through the drive thru. I would like to compliment him, his voice, his mannerism and professionalism is amazing. When I got to the window, I remembered that he actually took my order about 3 yrs ago and his great customer service stood out. He is still great today too. Thank you for being great, hope to see him again. Give this guy a bonus or something!!

If you're on a keto diet you can get just the taco meat in a little cup I like the chicken and beef taco meat and then get some guacamole and some sour cream and it'll only be like 5 bucks or 6 bucks

It's Dell Taco anyone who goes here knows what to expect, a surprisingly good burger and fries from a place with Taco in the title. Good cheap breakfast burritos and the best deals you're going to get on grilled chicken tacos anywhere. Don't expect fine dining you can expect good quality fast food for a very reasonable price.

I love Del Taco the food is always fresh and its presentation is always the same .. However this being said the EMPLOYEES could brush up on their CSR skills. The Del Taco "Management Crew" are very rude and disrespectful they are insensitive to customers complaints about how the meal was bring made wrong.

I've recently became vegan, and my family loves to eat at Del Taco, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had an Avocado Veggie bowl. It had rice, black beans, salsa, and avocado. It's actually very delicious and I am very happy to have an option to eat at this restaurant chain.

I went thru drive and the young lady was very nice , I highly recommend the cheeseburger with fries believe when I say they are better than a Mccdouble !! The cheese melts in your mouth and it tastes very different . The fries are very different from the typical fries we usually get! The noachis are delicious better than Taco Bell if we are being honest , they use American cheese rather than the yellow cheese which makes a difference

I'm glad some del tacos stay open 24 hours with the drive thru . I get super hungry and have to eat 5 mins ago there are not many options on the road . Thank you to the del taco staff for working at 3 am to make shrimp tacos .

Been here a few times, for the most part friendly staff. Restaurant is always has a clean dining area and restroom. Gave it four stars for the reason there are times I order through drive-thru and my food looks like the wrapped It with one hand and just throw it in the bag.

The day shift with the white manager is way better than the evenings when he's gone. They screwed up my order again. And what's up with the lack of sugar/cinnamon on the churros. Only going to this Del Taco during the day.

It was overall a good experience. The only issue I had was...well I could not understand what the drive thru lady was saying. The speaker kept cutting off or something of that sort. Other than that, it went rather well. Oh, I did have to park out front and wait for my order bc it took a while to prepare. 🤔🤷

Food is decent. The best times to go to Del Taco is on Thursday's because of the deals on the grilled chicken tacos. The atmosphere isnt the best. Overall, it's good when getting a deal.

Listen it's Del Taco, the food isn't going to be top tier, but this location has the friendliest employees. I just want to give them a shout out for being so kind.

I went through the drive thru and I paid for my Neal I noticed that the manager that took my order gave me Mt Neal durst than I had to her for my debit card. I tried to grabbed from her hand instead she kept it until the receipt printed out. Un my point of view that's wrong but I guess is the restaurant policy maybe I know for fact that each place usually return the card as soon is paid.

We are frequent customers of DT - it's location is walking distance from home & school, so the kids often grab food here. Food is tasty but still fast food. We do like that they will customize just about anything they offer, if you ask.

A lot of the low level, value meals lack. You have to throw down some salsa to get any zing. This chain had bland flavors and really is an overpriced rip off. Decent cheese quesadilla but for $3? I would only eat here if completely desperate or run out of napkins in my car. Close the doors.

Not sure if the drive thru intercom needs to be adjusted but the attendant couldn't understand or hear what I was saying even though I spoke clearly and loud. The beyond meat is salty, not sure if that's how it's packaged or prepared at the restaurant.

No seating for my weary bones in side. The quesadilla had way too much grease. And the burrito was unexpectedly very spicy. Other than that, it was fairly pleasant with the employees and we enjoyed ourselves. We found seating outside. We got to feed the birds. Birds like spicy burritos. Lol 😆 The tacos were great.

It's not the best Del Taco I've been to, but it's still good food! I don't go through the drive thru because it's always always always busy! If you go in it's usually not too busy. Keep in mind there's only one register though. The manager is nice and the fries are always fresh! The tables are a little dirty and the floor could use a good deep cleaning but it's okay. I like coming here because they are fast and get your food to you quickly

The food is good but this location always has employees who take forever to take drive orders. Got up to drive window and many workers so I don't understand why it takes so long. I ordered a large fry and my order was only 3/4 full. I saw that it looked like they took some fries out of my order to complete another order. They get my business because they are the only location within miles of me.

The dining looked clean. The food was good and the price was ok. The portions are on the small side. There were transients on the outside of the property. Service was not good, and the employees were not friendly. There's security in the parking lot.

I've been going there for many years, I love the turkey crispy tacos but today it was terrible!, I ordered 3 crispy tacos, 3 were broken, 2 were missing meat and lettuce, is the 1st time I get this garbage, they have different manager and obviously employees don't have consideration for customers and prepare the food in a very sloppy way. Shame on the manager ! I tried to call Del Taco and the telephone line was busy forever!. I'm so disappointed!

I've ordered 2 Habanero Crispy Chicken Tax is with medium coke. I was given a strawberry punch with strawberries. I can't even go back to correct my order, because I am stuck on traffic on Interstate 5.

The staff in the front tends to get my order wrong, So I don’t recommend ordering any specific burrito. I only go for the beyond avocado tacos so that way my order does not end up being messed up. Highly recommend the manager come and straighten this location out, it was better before.

This is strictly about the drive thru. Less than half the time I go through it, I'll get through like a normal drive thru would work. The majority of the time, I get a woman who holds you at the speaker to repeat herself 10 times and will tell you to "hold on", while she leaves for 5 minutes. I'm guessing she holds you at the speaker so that you're time at the window is quick. I'm guessing there's a timer inside and the faster they get you through the window, the better. Today is pouring raining and I'm sitting at the speaker while the inside of my car is being filled with water and she keeps leaving the speaker

So today I wanted to take advantage of an offer for snack Tacos advertised on the radio, so I went to my nearest del Taco and ordered the tacos and they were going to charge me full price because it had to be on the app but nobody said it had to be on the app because it was also advertised on the window out front. Instead I Ended up ordering the Tacos Tuesday and I was overcharged 2.00 because I asked for half of the order to be soft shell . Although they admitted they made the mistake, it held up the orders. Always a terrible experience at this Downey location. They need a new management. Always check your receipt , and don't let them get away with your money ! Update: So I get a generic response back from someone with no type of number to identify this review and want me to go online to talk about what happened, what a hassle! Send me a number or something so I can just call you.

I placed an order through the drive thru, and it was incorrect. So i got off and asked to have my order fixed. Well as soon as Carmen, the manager heard what I was there for. I could tell she was bothered. She told the lady that helped me at the drive thru that she did my order wrong,and the lady apologized which was really professional of her. Carmen placed my order and started rushing the workers and telling them to work faster. She brought up my order and was walking away. I had to tell her that she owed me money because obviously I was charged for the wrong order. She rolled her eyes and placed my change on the counter. Didn't apologize or say anything. Really bad service specially coming from a "manager"

Not sure what was going on will Del Taco on this day but service was super slow, took almost45 minutes to order and receive our food. Not sure what the staff was doing but you had one worker on the phone just chatting away. Then the woman at the window giving attitude because I told her we were missing a burger. She seemed frustrated, who knows if the restaurant is suffering because of poor management and staff not properly trained. I hope today was a fluke. Maybe I'll try again. No not really. Also fries were cold in the inside but warm in the outside. Got my order wrong too.

Ordered thru drive thru and the line was short but it took more than 35 min being the third car in line and then extra more minutes 13 min for the girl to swipe my debit card and not even tell me or the other customers ahead that there was an issue with their ATM debit machine reader. After waiting more than 10 minutes I offered to give her cash and she took that and again held my cash in her hand for another 10 plus minutes while she took orders. She gave no napkins and no sauce I had to walk to the window and ask for the condiments. I told the girl she should tell customers what's wrong or going on so they are not waiting and questioning the long wait time in drive thru. Sloppy food presentation as well. Horrible service

2nd time I have ordered the festa party pack supposed to be 6 del tacos and 6 bean and cheese burritos. I get the burritos but the tacos were the value/ snack. It total rip-off.

Today I visited the Del Taco in Downey, this was a desaster, the 2 Tacos ordered had hardly anything in them, little meat, little lettuce, no cheese, missing tomatoes on one. At nearly 2.00 each, I got screwed. 2 crunchtados would have been great if they were placed in the box right side up, but with the facing down, they were a mess to eat. What a waste of time and money. This place is inconsistent and troublesome. Need to find a better Del Taco.

Straight up dog doo doo. Came here for a quick lunch with my apprentice. The woman who took the order was rude and had zero interest in taking our order. Got to the window. The woman asked what we ordered.... what? I gave her my partial order, and she cut me off and gave me a total. I informed her i wasn't finished. She rolled her eyes and asked what i wanted and looked at her co-worker. Called me some names in spanish, she didn't know i could speak Spanish for a white boy. I left before giving her my money. What a waste of time. She needs to he fired and sent to an attitude adjustment class. Go down the street to Mr. PETES burgers. They are way better than this dumpster fire.

When in drive thru the people can never hear your order apparently through the speaker. Then when you get to the window they have you pay them pull past the window while you wait for your food to be done then have you back up to the window when it's ready. They don't want you sitting on the meter timing how long they take to make your order. Order is always wrong and deluxe chillie fries are just slapped together like a mess not a lot of toppings,

Not sure if your drive through speaker/mic are not working good or of the employee has hearing problems, but whenever I order she makes me repeat it 3 different times, while I have to scream at the speaker/mic for everything I say and still says the wrong order back to me by the time ai get to the window im in a bad mood for having to waste so much energy just to get my order correct.

Went to pick up an order, and drive thru was packed, so I decided to go in. Well now I know why Drive thru is backed up. You have an employee on his phone standing next to his register. I walked in stood there for a moment. When one of the runners acknowledged me then, he turned around and put his phone away. Then once he realized I was just picking up, turned sat back down on the counter and pulled out his phone. Then I watched as another customer come in to complain and stood behind him for a bit before getting even more agitated, and have to get his attention so he can put his phone away and actually help him. So Unprofessional to be on your phone at work, and also to keep your back to the lobby when the doors are unlocked.

Food was ok ,but this lady hava badly actitud ugly costumer service, she have no patience, needs new training, who to serve the clients in a better way ,too keeping happy instead giving a bad experience , drive true 10 minits, clean its ok ,i asked also for a green sauce with she didn't given too me intentionally ,, definitely not recomended this location too any one but ☝️yes taco bell they have better costumer service if that's important for you 😉

This Del Taco is a pathetic shadow of what it was once. The atmosphere is that of a business happily leaning head first into decline. The worst of it, however, was the service. After I was asked if I could be helped, the woman behind the counter didn't give me an ETA or anything like that. After a few minutes, she again came back to ask what name the order was under. When I received my order, there was no receipt or the correct number of sauce I asked for. After standing there for a minute or three, I gesture to one of the women with a packet of sauce. She said, "we're out," as if she's a mind reader. Clearly, they weren't low or out of sauce, if this woman was able to guess what my complaint was. Not only that, it was eight in the evening. How can a 24hr business be out of sauce at that time? I know of another Del Taco in Commerce. I'll be going there, from now on.

First off the meat is not hot. Taco shells are stale, lettuce is brown on edges and the service is horrible. I asked for the medium sauce and was told by the guy that he gave me some. He did give sauce but it was ketchup and mild. It seems to be under new ownership. Also the next day my stomach was messed up. Don't eat here. It's nasty!

Ordered in drive thru. Payed with apple pay and didn't receive the receipt. Immediately after getting our drinks, we were told to park out in front for our order. After a couple minutes of waiting in the parking. Our order was taken to us. We drove home. Opened our bags only to find a meal missing. When contacted the store, the manager answered and became defensive after being told our order was incomplete. I asked for that to be refunded she said she couldn't and we could drive back. Asked to speak with a manager she claimed she was the one. I explained to her I couldn't go back she said there was nothing she could do. I was obviously bothered and she continued to escalate the situation by saying oh my g*d and you're so rude. I asked for the managers information and she hung up. Called back to get the information as I wasn't given a receipt and would not answer. Friday around 2pm. Must be the same bad manager others have complained about.

There’s a lady in the morning who makes you pull up past the window in the drive thru for some reason so then you have to reach out or get out of the car to get your food. Burritos are all over the place. She gives the wrong sauce packets, no receipt, doesn’t understand English. Go to a different place.

Let me start off first with how the employees at this del taco got the orders wrong. Then got upset when they were told that we order something else. The Hot coffee was cold. They messed up on my boyfriends food 4 times. This place is ridiculous. They were unprofessional and rude. The lady got hostile when my boyfriend told her that what he was givin wasnt what he wanted. The burrito he order barely has anything in it. We will not be coming back here again

Cant go wrong with del taco 😋 however the lady in the drive thru was horrible, she was either having a bad day or she hates her job.(Friday may 3 around 4pm, don't wanna get someone else in trouble) You can tell they are understaffed and have to multitask to make up for it. Had to repeat my order because it sounded like she was taking an around inside also. She rudely asked us to drive up to the window. we repeated the order, and she still messed up 🤦🏽‍♂️. Had to drive back to get my missing items (if I wasn't such a del taco fan I wouldn't of go back) Inside was worse the lady got extremely defensive and was even more rude. The manager was called but yikes I see why the customer service stinks in this place. My recommendation is go for the food not the customer service. Protip check your order and beware of the staff from hell.

This is their sad excuse of a double bacon cheese burger. The tomato is basically non-existent and they are using bacon bits instead of whole bacons. The bacon bits don't even cover the entire burger.

Well today I used the drive thru. I ordered a #2 combo. 2 grilled chicken tacos.+'drink and fry. NOT what I received. Got home to eat and was disappointed. But do I waste more of my time to drive back?? So I called and they hung up on me. Called back and they didn't answer. Order #16 @1:18 6/9/25. Also they didn't give me the correct change. Guess they took a tip.
