Extraordinary experience atmosphere cosy and communal food was exceptional wonderful flavour adventure stimulating palate perfectly cooked produce is chosen carefully it’s obvious u can taste the quality + good portion! Above all Well priced everyone tiered of crazy rest prices ! Thank u F&B staff !
The restaurant is upstairs, while the ground floor is a very well supplied food store for gourmets. The restaurant will give you an experience full of flavour, with products that are always fresh and compositions that are truly ambitious. If you are vegetarian, remember to ask for the plant-based menu, which contains additional options.
Went here on a weekday afternoon, not crowded. LOTS of unique international foods and gifts. They also had a great selection of holiday tins and chocolates. I saw a great deli/butcher counter in the back with premade options and fresh produce. I'm not local so I'm not sure if pricing is good but it was well stocked. We went upstairs for lunch highly recommend 👌🏼🙌🏽
Great service from Daniel and also very good looking.. Such a pity he is married. Food was lovely Daniel was amazing! And soooo good looking! Will definitely be back! Daniel better be here otherwise we can't be bothered! Also to clarify I was here with my boyfriend who also was team Daniel!! He cannot compete. Falkon and Byrne would be nothing without Daniel!!
In the midst of standard Irish menus, this was such a refreshing reminder that a modern menu using local and seasonal ingredients is flavourful and delicious. Glad that we were able to make a late reservation as there were many large groups that followed us. We went with options from the Early Menu and we exceedingly pleased. This was our 'farewell to Dublin' dinner. I highly recommend visiting this entire venue - there's a wine cellar and a food market as well as the restaurant on site.
Just a brilliant place for foodies. It’s expensive but outstanding quality. I haven’t seen tomatoes like that outside Spain or Italy. And this peanut butter chicken I took home for tea was absolutely gorgeous (if outrageously expensive at €15). Their fresh sandwiches, I’ve never seen better. A must visit.
Had a fantastic lunch for my wife’s birthday today. Our servers, Madina and Bogdan, were both excellent (Bogdan makes a mean negroni btw). We had the steak (perfect) and the duck, followed by a surprise dessert for my wife’s birthday. A really nice experience overall, no complaints whatsoever.
Wonderful food and warm welcome. A friend had recommended the Dining room at Fallon & Byrne and we were glad we went. The food was great, an early bird with price discounts might be welcome as it’s mid to upper range pricing. The staff are just amazing. We realised on our journey up to Dublin that we would be delayed. Aicha was fantastic on the phone when I rang in and changed our reservation by half an hour. Both herself and Radovan were professional, helpful and friendly and one could sense a lovely team spirit among the staff. I do hope we can get back in soon and the steak was top class. Thanks all.
We had an amazing meal but the service was exceptional. Daniel catered to our every need. He was amazing, you are lucky to have such great staff! Happy Christmas
Very nice corporate dinner in the city, great quality food and selection. Good helpings, faultless service. Enjoyed the evening.
We visited recently with my work teammates for dinner and had a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere struck a great balance, lively but comfortable enough to chat without having to raise your voice. The food was very good overall, but the standout for us was the service. We initially struggled to choose a wine, but once Daniel stepped in everything became effortless. His recommendations were spot-on and he brought a fun, engaging energy to the table that really elevated the evening. Tip: Don’t miss the Espresso Martini, Daniel suggested it and it ended up being the highlight of the night! Definitely a place we’d return to.
What a wonderful evening. Great atmosphere on arrival lovely attentive team that all seemed to be enjoying the evening. Food was tasty, hot & nicely presented. Great start to tge festive season thanks to Gabriella & the immaculate bearded server that shared his secret to sparkling white shirt.. White vinegar & cab soda.. So even left with a great tip.. They all work so hard and have fun at the same time Thanks to the Fallon & Bryne kitchen team & front of house for a wonderful experience.
Had an amazing birthday dinner here! They even put a candle on my dessert which helped make the whole night even more incredible. Highly recommend for any special occasion! Servers Daniel and Ikram made sure I was taken care of in every way, a truly five star experience indeed. Look forward to coming back again!
I have wanted to go here since we moved, and it was worth it. The shop is lovely and all kinds of things to gift or use for cooking. We did the wine cellar. It was beyond amazing. The cheeseboard was so good, the pizza was great, and the pasta is to die for. The wine selection is top notch.
We had lunch in the Fallon & Byrne Dining Room earlier today, we were warmly welcomed by staff and the service was friendly and attentive. Our food was delicious and brought to us with the perfect balance of professionalism and friendly banter. We will be back. Well done to all involved in creating a pleasant experience for us, Daniel was one of the staff that attended us, thank you Daniel and all your colleagues on duty today.
Excellent food and service. Stracciatella was outstanding 👏
Super atmosphere, food and staff - thanks to Daniel and to Rafael for the cocktails
This place is above a grocery store which is interesting and everything we had was great. I usually don’t like ordering steaks but they cooked out perfectly!
As can be seen from the 'cleaned' plates the food was absolutely great. Wonderful flavours and service was spot on. Wine list is good but could be broader and more adventurous but minor in the scheme of things! One of our favourite and most reliable eateries in Dublin. Keep up the great work.
What a delightful place! There is such an amazing selection of fresh produce and it’s been arranged impeccably. I tried the salmon on soda bread and it was fantastic. Just the right amount of salt and capers. Was truly an umami treat! Great for a snack or good for stocking up on some healthy food items.
This is the place to go in Dublin for everything from fish, to meat, to vegetables and miscellany. Downstairs they also have a wine cellar and upstairs a fantastic little restaurant. Salad bar for lunch as well is great and you can grab sandwiches and the like to. That’s without getting into their excellent selection of international wines.
I love Fallon & Byrne. Anytime I need some wacky ingredient, or if I just want to be inspired by unusual and high quality foods I go there. It's also a great place to pick up a gift or two. Though the aisles are a little narrow, and the prices are a little high I always leave feeling energized and excited about food. Pro tip: I can recommend the wild boar burgers from the meat counter. They have a lot of flavour going on so maybe pair them with an appropriate apple slice. Properly delicious!
Beautiful family Christmas Eve lunch in Fallon and Byrne! Special thank you to Claudina and Sofia for taking care of us with such professionalism. We thoroughly enjoyed!
The staff were so kind and accommodated my celiac meal with no issues. The gluten free food is delicious, by far the nicest GF meal I've had in Ireland
We had the 3-course set lunch menu in the dining room and both had the smoked salmon, lamb shoulder and chocolate cake. The food was tasty, very good quality and the portions were fine. I particularly loved the lamb shoulder, it was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was quiet but perfect for me as I can struggle at times with loud noise. We had a bottle of wine which pushed up our spend per person, it was Friday! We will definitely return and the 3-course set lunch for the quality is very good value.
If only there was a 6 star rating possible! Exceptional service, best value food we've had out dining in years. Upstairs over the Fallon & Byrne shop, a well appointed restaurant with great atmosphere. Lovely interactions with the team, but also wonderful to see the positive & friendly interactions between staff members. Translates to a excellent customer experience.
Huge thank you to Daniel & Eric. We had a meal upstairs for our Christmas party last night and the service was amazing. The place was full but the guys were constantly checking in and kept the drinks flowing.
Fabulous food and atmosphere. One of our favourite places to eat in Dublin. Krame took great care of us. Staff are very attentive.
This is a wonderful little foodie paradise with a restaurant upstairs, a good hall on the ground floor and a wine cellar with plenty of seating and food service on the lower ground floor. All very nicely laid out with an upscale vibe and quality produce from all over the world. Personally very pleased they sell Jarritos (Mexican soft drink). Great to pick up a meal or done in. Not really enough for your weekly shop though.
Stylish and reliable. The upstairs dining room is lovely for a relaxed meal, while the wine cellar downstairs feels cosy and intimate. Food quality is consistently high. Great spot if you enjoy a slightly upscale vibe without feeling formal.
Very well stocked store. If you’re looking for obscure produce to cook with from around the world, this is the go too. Well it is pricey, you’re paying for good quality. Standard Dublin price for a flat white at €3.15. They use 3FE beans so again, quality is guaranteed. Overall, well worth a visit whenever you find yourself in the city centre
Cosy basement wine bar that serves a small range food. Wine menu has a good selection from all over the world and varying price range. Service is polite and friendly. Nice place for a chat, bite to eat and a few glasses.
We had dinner there on a Sunday evening and it was lovely. I had Romesco Cauliflower and I cannot say enough to praise this dish. Just wonderful! Also, as I need to eat gluten-free, the waiter suggested to make a substitution to the dish by replacing the fregola with potatoes, adapting it to my specific diet. The atmosphere is elegant and quiet so there are plenty of opportunities for a nice chat at the table. The restaurant is spacious but we did reserve a table. I would go back and I recommend it!
I got there early for the three course experience and it was delicious!
Went for Sunday lunch. I ordered the cod. It was very nice. Skinless peas, chips. Tbh the tartare sauce was a let down. Small cubes of cucumber 10% and the rest just red onion so quite pungent, unpleasantly so. The atmosphere was nice and calm, but sad music like a requiem was playing, and the sun splitting through the windows with a beautiful day? Mismatch…. The staff were really nice and helpful. I put 4 stars because the easily made tartare sauce was an inexcusable let down. Everything else was lovely as you can see in the photos. It looks like a French brasserie setting 😍 gorgeous. I’ll be back! 😀
Great wine selection, the desserts and cheese board were the highlight of the night! The main was pretty good but plain. Beautiful presentation, but just a pan seared chicken breast and a potato bake. The wine reduction was a bit too salty, but really tasty. The staff was super friendly and nice and the service was fast. I’d go again and try another main.
Had higher expectations than what we've experienced. Food was good but for these prices it could have been a lot better. Service was okay.
A very sophisticated place with decent food and presentation. Being a vegetarian I requested a vegetarian/vegan menu where they had quite a few options. You can try the cous cous and also the apple celery soup. The soup is little sweet and the quantity was quite fulfilling. If you don’t mind the sweetness, go agead with it. I had to use some pepper.
Unimaginative menu. Unimaginative serving. Boring taste. Rather expensive. It’s ok for a large group of foreigners who visit Dublin for an academic conference. It will not surprise them, unfortunately: they will leave with the sense that they knew it, “Irish food is boring.” If you want prove them wrong, pick another place. If you want discover it yourself, find something different. Irish food can be much more exquisite.
