I have received the best customer service from YakiniQ in Livermore compared to any AYCE Korean BBQ I have tried. Their food is good, their service is fast, and I like their dining room. I received all my orders in less than five minutes every time I placed them on my phone. They replace the grilles quickly without asking. This is an excellent AYCE KBBQ; I'm sure I will return soon!
I came here to try the all you can eat, and was pleasantly surprised at the overall quality. I got to the restaurant around 6, and entered the waitlist around 5:45pm. I tried entering it earlier, but the yelp wait list didn't actually say there was a wait until all of a sudden, the wait jumped to 19 parties in line and a 58-88 minute wait. In total, we waited about an hour after arriving (for a party of 3). The menu is pretty standard, with a regular option, and a premium menu for $4 more, which included some cuts of American Wagyu. All ordering is done via a mobile website, accessed by a QR code the host gives you when they seat you. The meat quality was pretty top notch, though each individual serving was a little smaller than I was expecting. Not necessarily a bad thing, since it allows you to try more meats. Their sauces were also good - their wasabi mustard paired well with fatty pork! The only difference I noticed was that some items, like noodles or side dishes costed extra. The service was also really good - servers were constantly coming around to clear empty meat serving dishes, replace grills, ect. Your online menu also had an option to call a server if needed. Meat, when ordered, is brought out pretty quickly, faster than most other all you can eat places I've been to recently. The grill is also a huge plus - there's a ring around the edge of the grill, which vacuums in the smoke from the grilling. Though it doesn't catch 100%, you won't leave the restaurant smelling completely like smoke! Overall, a fantastic find in downtown Livermore. Good meat quality, excellent service, and reasonable prices. Just be prepared for a 1-2 hour wait if you don't enter the waitlist ahead of time!
Is it a franchisee of restaurants in San Jose? It was much cleaner and of better quality than San Jose. I only picked up at the San Jose store, but I knew the quality of the meat was good. It met both advantages. I recommend a premium package. Cold noodles after meals were also delicious. The staff was kind and we could have a beer at the bar while waiting. If you need to go to livermore Outlet or play golf on East Bay, I highly recommend you to visit it at least once.
I came here with a group of friends, and overall we had a great experience. We waited about 30-35mins for a table on a Friday night. When we got to our table, all of the side dishes were already set out and the grill was ready to go. All of the ordering is done via your phone; they give you a tag with a QR code, and everyone in your party can order separately and add it to the same bill. Just be aware that you will get charges for leftovers. The food itself was great, especially the short rib, spicy chicken, pork belly and the ramen. I've seen people on here complain about it being smoky or not having overhead vents above the tables, but it's not that bad. There is ventilation built into the grills at each table, and while it can get a little smoky at times, it never lasts that long. It's no worse than what you experience at a Japanese steakhouse. The service was impeccable amd we always had someone coming by the table to drop off food, change out grill plates or pick up dirty plates. The staff really works hard to make it a great experience. Overall, I really enjoyed my first dining experience at Yakini, and I look forward to going back.
Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. The way YakiniQ has their business set up is the most efficient and customer friendly experience I have ever had with KBBQ places. The staff is always on point and quick with service to give you what you need. Their system is online based too so you can order at your own will through a QR code. It just makes everything more efficient. The meat quality is great here. The brisket and belly’s are high quality stuff, so you don’t feel bad by stuffing yourself too much. The marinated spareribs was probably our favorite to order. We ordered a few plates of that. YakiniQ also feels like a high end kbbq spot. The plates are all gold which is a good touch for a special dinner you may have. They have a nice bar area too for people waiting for their table that has a tv for game days. The restaurant is also huge, so there is plenty of seating for quick customer turnaround.
Food taste good, service is fast. My favorite items are marinated beef rib finger, beef tartare and large intestine.
Great Korean BBQ. You order via phone after scan QR code. Price is very reasonable even the top tier.

Came here on a Saturday night and waited around 5 minutes for two of us. Overall we had a great time. All you can eat for roughly $35 a person and you get to cook it yourself at the table. I have had Korean BBQ a few times but the service was outstanding; every single person around was available to answer questions about cooking the meat, changing the grill, menu questions (they have rules for ordering short ribs), etc. Everything is ordered via the QR code including the sides like rice and rice papers, which I actually like because it lets you see what you are ordering, and lays out the quantity you will receive. Some of the meats did come out in smaller portions but it was clearly shown on the ordering menu which we enjoyed as a two person party because then we could try different meats and not get a ton of the same thing. This place is great for first time KBBQ eaters because everyone is friendly and helpful. The owner was especially nice and hands on; he even helped us cook some of the meat we ordered himself. Him and his daughter have great taste in cars as well!

YakiniQ LV is having their soft opening right now! My party was seated quickly. At this restaurant, you place your order online (they provide a QR code) and the quick and attentive service staff bring things to you — no need to wait for a server. Staff always kept an eye on our grills and changed them out at the right time. The meat quality at YakiniQ is great as well! Everything tasted fresh and high-quality. I do want to withhold a star due to the banchan. The potato and macaroni salad was more American-style, having raisins in it. I have never seen raisins in these Korean side-dishes and it was off-putting to me. I also did not like the salad and fish cake as well because they were not seasoned like Korean food usually is. The banchan made this KBBQ spot taste less "K" and bit more "A". Less traditional is fine, I'm just nitpicking since I love to cook Korean food. Overall, I highly recommend this place for their great service and high-quality meats. If you are tired (and hungry) after a long day and don't feel like waiting for or speaking to anyone, this is absolutely the place to try.
The food was good enough. First time trying the Beef Tartare and it was surprisingly tasty. The dining area was spacious as it seemed to have been renovated and expanded. The service, however, could have been better. All the orders done on the phone were very fast. But, if you wanted to ask for something else, they would take forever before returning to the table with what you wanted. But, overall, good experience for our group.
My first experience here few months ago was absolutely outstanding. This time the meat was horrible, chewy and full of fat. It was just an awful thing. Service is excellent. Afraid to try again!
We came here for a birthday dinner as a group. We used the online waitlist option, which was helpful. They have a small parking lot which was full when we got there, but there was ample Street parking. We ordered via our cell phones. People brought out food fairly quickly with some exceptions. Overall decent quality of food.
In general, it is Good. But not as good as the San Jose one we usually go. The dipping sauces are American BBQ and mustard, not real korean mustard and Korean radish sauce. The grill change is slower than SJ branch. But in general, it is more fine dining style compare to SJ branch’s real Korean decorations.

The food is good, honestly the price isn't bad at all. It includes appetizers, snacks, and all sorts of Korean soups. The different varieties of meat served here are nice and easy to chew. The only unfortunate and bad thing about this place is that they advertise ice cream as being included in the meal as the dessert, but they are often sold out. They aren't really sold out, but rather the kitchen just doesn't wanna open up another tub of it. The flavor varies and the fried bananas that are often advertised as being included with the ice cream is non-existent. If this restaurant can fix that problem, then 5 stars all across the board.

Tasteless meats. Spicy pork belly and bulgogi were pasty. Marinated Short ribs had zero flavor and no marinade.Fresh pork belly, and thin sliced brisket were tasteless. Service was good but meats were subpar.

Was back last night for some korean bbq. Their meat qualities are good in the beginning but questionable several orders after not looking the same or it’s actually a completely different looking meat again. I wished I took a picture of that darker looking beef belly meat and next time I will take that picture showing the difference for posting. Their service was good especially the amigos but I know the restaurant is very popular so they don’t do reservations so they use a waiting list system. Here’s the issue with the waiting list system when adding onto their waiting they give you a checkin time but this checkin time varies a lot like over an hour wait after checking in. After sitting at our table I see just countless of concerning and frustrated looking customers waiting in the front waiting area. I hope to give them four stars again or even a five stars in the future.
Portion was very small for each dishes but taste was good . No top venting system so lots of smoke in the place. No enough waiters and some waiter didn't speak English. One waiter asked us to leave when we reached 2-hours eating limit with bad face, which was not friendly.

Still hungry....after all you can eat bbq. Entire group is still hungry. Price point pretty high. Kids over 4 years old charge is about $26.99. Felt we were given very small portions of meats in each order. Meats shrinked significantly after table top cooking. Some of the items we ordered did not even provided and unavailable. We left the restaurant very hungry. We felt this restaurant management is not very child friendly or family oriented. We tried to have kids walk to the restroom on their own to allow them to wash their hands, but the restaurant did not like that. Petite waitress with long hair was nice enough to let us know that last order is coming up, so we made order quickly but due to some online order issues with slow internet inside the restaurants, we placed the last order at 10:42pm that was 2 minutes after the last order time, and the order was pretty simple like white rices, but we were told that we were 2 minutes late for last order, and they did not help us. Store has online order system that is slow and somewhat dysfunctional. Wish there were human waitress helping us better. Amigos are wonderful and very helpful. Thank you!

Wow just wow i’m in shock no words. Really bland overpriced food. They serve you unseasoned meat. The marinated options were clearly not fresh. Service only good from the amigos though. Really really overpriced. Crying baby and no cellular service in the restaurant. Food was so bad i fell asleep during the meal. and their fume hood was not working anywhere so whole restaurant was smoked up. would not recommend anything the only way i can sleep was if my stomach was full of blood so my body would not feel any more like it was when my body started feeling better so it would not feel as much pain and it was a good idea for my stomach was a little bit better than my body is a lot worse but it is a little better than my heart
They tried to charge us the three pieces of meat on the grill for 5.99 per pound which they did not do anything with the three complete plates of meat left on the other table. I talked to the “manager” and she said they did charge and we just didn’t see their bill. But we witnessed the whole process while we were waiting to be seated. The people there just paid and left, no one even mentioned about the leftovers or took the food to weigh! This was not about money but equality. We will definitely not going back to this place for their poor management, nor will our friends and family. But services from the amigos were very good.
I've been here before, and the food is nowhere near as good as last time. The service is terrible. I had one more piece of meat left, and the waiter said it’s closing time and we couldn’t eat it, and we'd have to pay an extra fee. Meanwhile, another table was still cooking and eating! Absolutely unacceptable. I will never come back.
