Chuy's

We stopped at this location very close to closing time after driving for 7 hrs. Hostess was very nice and seated us quickly. Made sure the kids had coloring sheets too without us asking. Our server Anahi (from receipt) was super nice and provided quick service. She offered to go drinks as well without us asking which is rare and we really appreciated that after a long trip. We have never been to this location and we are impressed with the friendly staff we encountered so close to closing time! Edit to add: despite being almost closing time the food was great! Fajitas were flavorful and tender, salsa and creamy jalapeño are always fantastic!

Chuy’s just opened its new location, and it’s already off to an amazing start! The atmosphere is vibrant and fun, with lively decor that makes it feel fun. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they’ve got everything running smoothly like they’ve been here for years. One of the best parts is their unique touch—they encourage you to bring in a picture of your dog to hang on the wall, which adds such a light-hearted and personal vibe to the place. Whether you’re there for the delicious food or just the great energy, Chuy’s is a fantastic addition to the area!

We forgot to grab the Creamery Jalapeño Ranch I love for my taco salad, and just as we were leaving, Kyrstin came running across the parking lot to bring it to us. On top of that, she had already made an excellent recommendation on the meat selection. This was nowhere near part of her job description, but she went above and beyond, not only providing outstanding customer service, but also showing what it means to be a kind and thoughtful person.

We arrived on a Sunday at lunch with a group of 11. We were seated in just a few minutes. Our waitress was so attentive and food was amazing!!

Took my Mom here for her birthday. Great meal and our server, Anahi was super nice and did a great job. This was my first time at this location. We will definitely go back.

We ate here tonight and the portions were huge! My wife had a burrito that could have feed two people. (Now I have lunch for tomorrow). I had a cup of tortilla soup and it was amazing. I HIGHLY suggest giving that a try. Our waitress tonight literally made me want to eat there again. It's amazing how great customer service can determine whether you want to come back or not. Our waitresses name was Libby and she was outstanding. Thank you for having such a wonderful personality and being so engaging.

I asked for a tea and I sat and ate chips, jalapeño salsa and drank my tea. Melany brought out two bags and even offered to bring the bags to my car, which she did. Melany should get a raise because she went out of her way to help me, she is one of a kind and should be acknowledged for being such a helpful and sweet employee. We ordered fajitas, they were excellent, plenty of food and the price was reasonable. I will be back.

Today we are lunch here and Andy was out server. He was amazing! Friendly and on top of all the drink and chip refills! When our food came out, my enchilada was wrong. Andy immediately noticed this before I said anything and quickly started working on getting it corrected. The manager brought my corrected plate out and I started eating. It tasted amazing, as always. A few moments later, the manager returned with a fresh plate of what my husband order and said, "I noticed you waited til her food came out to eat, so I wanted to make sure you had a hot meal too." I didn't catch the managers name but both he and Andy were amazing! Thank your wonderful service! We'll definitely be back again! If you haven't been before, always ask for the free creamy jalapeno to dip chips in. It's so good. Several vegetarian options available. Kids meals available. Family friendly atmosphere. Covered patio seating available. Fun decor.

If you’re in the Weatherford/Aledo area, go by Chuy’s and say hi to Lila and Natalie! Lila is the hostess - super sweet young lady. When she seers you, she says “God Bless You. Your waitress will be right with you”! Natalie was our waitress and she was friendly and helpful with the menu items. We will definitely come back when in the area. Ohhh, and the food was good!

Consistent and very solid for a chain. Prices are a great value.... Keep the chips rolling. If your looking for a quiet dining experience this ain't it. Great if you have kids or want a drink. Per the usuals weekend nights and prime times can get busy. Food and drinks are quick and always a good spot for cocktails and a some enchiladas etc.

The food was amazing and Libby was such a great server! She was friendly and helpful, ensuring that any questions we had as first time customers were answered and recommended things when asked. She checked on us several times and our drinks never made it below half full! 100% will come back and ask for Libby!

First time at this location. Service was outstanding! From getting seating quickly, fast hot food to drinks and chips being topped off. The only thing I thought was a little off was the food was on the salty side, but I ate everything at the end. I'll be back!

The food was slow coming out. It's been open since August so I would expect this to be better by now. It's such a small place...I can't believe they can't get the food out faster. Our food/drinks were good, server was great, just don't go if you're in a hurry. Highly recommend the creamy jalapeno dip for chips.

Disappointed yet again. I love Chuey’s, and I decided to grab some late dinner for my boyfriend and I for our anniversary. I order soft tacos with steak and he order ground beef tacos. I got there and the food was brought promptly. However, upon getting home, my sides were completely missing and non existent. My steak is insanely chewy and a lot of gristle even for fajita beef. As well, my boyfriend’s tacos were fried but super greasy, more than usual. Really disappointed as this was a $50 dinner for really a value of about $20. This is about the third time I’ve ordered from the curbside with issues. Not sure why this, this is a pretty new location.

Fajitas were tough, not tender no bell pepper peppers. Just just a bunch of onions. Tortillas were good.

Not many positive comments to share about Chuy's on this trip. Used to be a fun happening place now just bland food covered up with too much spice, no flavors underneath. Jalapeño ranch is still good so that is a plus! They should bring back the free Nacho bar during happy hour. Was not worth the hour and 10 min wait.

The food here is phenomenal, so no need to mention that. The problem here is dishonest service that we received not once, but amazingly, TWICE, which I have brought to the attention of Chuy's corporate, who handed me over to this specific Chuy's location, who said they would call me, but never did. We have been here twice, and both times it seems like a real big issue just getting us a seat. 'well that section isn't open yet' and the insistence on sitting us next to the only other couple inside an otherwise empty restaurant, at a table that is absolutely filthy. The second time we went we had to have someone clean our table twice because the first time he wiped it down with the dry rag and there was dried up salsa on our seat. He came back with a wet rag after my wife pointed out that no, or both is still filthy. After he left my wife wound up taking a napkin and wiping the seat and it was black with filth. Both times we have come here it's like we had to stand around and wait 10 minutes just to get a seat because the staff couldn't figure out where to seat us: We had a party of three and asked for a booth. The two large booths in either opposing corner of the restaurant were open but they wouldn't see this in those. It is to know that during our entire visit, no one was seated at those two booths and they remained empty the entire time. We went in for Happy Hour, ordered two grande margaritas and the compuesto. The waitress brought out the wrong size margaritas - when I pointed out that these margaritas looked really small, she lied to me and said that "the small size was the only thing on happy hour" - I pointed out we were the only table in the restaurant with small margaritas, and then I showed her the menu, that clearly shows that she's wrong....then looked at me like we were going to keep the small margaritas....I asked her to fix her mistake and she did with an eye roll. The good news was there was a shift change at 1730 and we got a new waitress that was super friendly and on the ball with phenomenal service. Unfortunately the second time we came we had the same dishonest waitress who overcharged my sister-in-law $2 for her margarita. When my wife pointed that out to the server, the server said that we were looking at the happy hour menu and quickly walked away with my sister-in-law's money in hand as she was paying for her bill. Well, we were not in during happy hour, and we were looking at the normal dining menu. I've pointed out that the same server has lied to us on two different occasions but Chuy's has decided not to do anything. Also when we left the second time, my sister-in-law's bench seat flipped up and she darn near fell on the floor because the seat was broken. We brought it attention to the young staff at the front who seem more interested in chewing on their bubble gum and one of them actually laughed when we told them that my sister-in-law almost fell down and that the bench sheet was broken and needed attention before someone got hurt. The food here is absolutely phenomenal, but you can't let a bunch of young people run your business into the ground. Is there a manager anywhere, I know one was supposed to call me but never did. It doesn't look like there's a manager overseeing quality of service at this location either.

Too loud, service was slow and distracted. Took for ever to get our food. When we did the food was cold. I had a burrito that had very little filling and was loosely wrapped to hide that fact. I'll more than likely never return. It's funny that we have so many "Mexican Style" places to go that you would think they would have stepped up their game.

Chuys is a favorite for sure but wow, I realize I’ve never ordered takeout. Don’t. Just eat there. I ordered no entrees, just 3 drinks, queso and a soup. $91 before tips. What in the world. And the bartenders ignore you if you order to go. This was the only bad experience I’ve ever had at Chuys. I’ll be back for dine in, I’ll make sure to leave a good review for y’all then but someone needs to figure out the takeout. Took 25 minutes for soup queso and to go margs. Cmon Margo, that sucked.

The Chuy's in Hudson Oaks just can't get their act together. We've been in three times, and every time the hostesses were rude. I don't know what it is about this location that hires nothing but teenagers and expects the food to be good and the service to be good. I have yet to have one server who was knowledgeable about the menu or friendly in any way. It can't be that hard to have a manager show up and run the place, or maybe the issue is your manager is also 18. This location is also dirty, there's always grease on the table, food on the walls, I'm not sure when they clean but they need to do it more often. I understand that Chuy's is a mid to low priced restaurant, so maybe I have expectations that are too high for what is borderlining on fast Mexican food....however if your wait staff wants a tip, they should be able to answer basic questions about a menu and be friendly. Edit: Let me also add that we were seated with no napkins, and I got to get napkins off the tables beside us. When we needed additional napkins no one brought them and I had to get them off the tables beside us. Our server never refilled our waters, other servers did. Our server only refilled our chip basket one time with chip babies, then another server replaced the chip pieces with edible chips. When we got queso we weren't served plates so we ended up having to drop queso across the table and lay napkins down to eat off of as we were sitting opposite....our server saw this and didn't bring more napkins or plates. Basic service training is needed and thicker napkins.

Terrible, terrible service. Maybe one off, but waited 30 min while our waitress waited on other tables. It was at a slow time. Someone came over and filled drinks but no explanation at why we were being ingnored. we were told waitress would be with us soon she never appeared. Finally walked out after telling manager and getting drinks comped. Too bad, food is usually good.

We were told when we arrived at 7:13pm that it would be 15-20 minutes wait time. We weren’t seated until after the allotted time and when we were seated, three other tables around us sat down after us and were served before we were. We waited 20 minutes before leaving, without any communication from a waiter regarding service. Will not be coming back. I completely understand that restaurants get busy, but the lack of communication and serving of tables that were seated after us did not sit well with our party.

Ate here many times but today decided to write my review. Today’s food the chips were so soggy with grease I couldn’t eat them. The ones that weren’t soggy were stale. They do get the food order right about 20 percent of the time. Today’s order was not one of those times.

The service and communication from our server in that time was minimal. When the food finally arrived we realized that we didn’t have silverware. Our server disappears to the back again to get silverware and then we wait….and wait. I eventually had to go track down some on my own. Once I was able to eat it, my order was bland and lukewarm. After all that, all I wanted to do was pay for this awful experience and leave. But of course, that took forever as well. Overall we spent over 2 hours in the restaurant. This location is not a good representation of the quality food and service Chuy’s is known for.

We have eaten at this chuys countless times and never had an issue, but after tonight we will not be back! We just had an awful experience our waitress Ryanne, did a terrible job with our service, we asked to speak to the manager when our tickets came out incorrect, took her 20 more minutes to return with the correct checks and than another 20 minutes to run our cards and bring them back, once we had our cards back she told us to never come back that we were very rude, We are not rude people and are usually very understanding but that just blew our minds!
