Mecatos is what Starbucks wishes it was. Every location is filled with joy. The customer service is top notch. The offerings are always plentiful. The pastries are amazing. I wish they add a legit cafe with sweet condensed milk. Beyond that, it's a great spot to catch up with friends. A solid date spot. And even, a light work spot if you are into that kind of thing. The price? Again, everything Starbucks wishes it was.

Just recently started visiting this location and have nothing but good things to say! Mecatos is always delicious, but the drive thru at this one makes it even easier to get my favorite breakfast! Special shoutout to Liz! She was so sweet and convinced me to try one of their newer desserts and I loved it!

Sofia took my order and she was beyond amazing! The entire team was very welcoming as this was my first time and I had a lot of questions. I had an beef empanada with the garlic aioli and it was delicious and a tea (which I got for free because I downloaded the app). My only observation was that the wifi was a little spotty. Other than that, great experience.

The cachapas are to die for. Loved every bite. Rosaura was there to greet us with a warm smile and was very helpful explaining some of the ingredients. The atmosphere was friendly and the food was delicious. Definitely will come back really soon.

If you want authentic Colombian food and coffee and the best burger around then this is your place. From empanadas to morcilla and pastries, this place has it all. It’s like I was back in Colombia. 5 stars all the way!!

Not only did we get coffee, the menu was so interactive and affordable that we ordered a bacon-egg-cheese, beef empanadas, and tequeños. Each was some of the best we’ve ever had! The coffee bean cookie on the side of the coffee was a treat. The best service we’ve received on our 8 day Florida trip was HERE with Ms. Chavely! The whole staff was working hard, keeping the tables clean, and interacting with customers cheerfully. We’re only disappointed that there isn’t one in Savannah, GA so we can become regulars. Thank you for an amazing end to our trip.

I love this place! The service is always on point, quick, attentive, and genuinely warm. My go-to is the eggs made to order, always fresh and delicious. You can’t go wrong with their mocha latte, and I usually grab a few pastries to keep me going. Highly recommended! ☕🥐 and Marla was amazing :)

Truly nostalgic. Very traditional recipe. We drove from Miami and made a stop here just to get the same items again! It was THAT good. We have come here now for the second week in a row for the empanada de queso (cheese filled empanada) with the spicy sauce and the pan de bono. We have family members even pass by as well. The menu is wonderful and has alot of variations for everyone to enjoy. Truly a gem in orlando! 10/10.

Love going to Mecatos for my morning coffee. They all have taken the time to get to know me and know my order which adds a very personal experience every time I go. Nicole is one of my favs as she is always so polite, sweet and with a smile. 10/10 recommend.

We recently came across this place while traveling, and when they read the total we couldn't believe what we got in return. There's tons of options for food, and all of them incredible. The iced coffee slapped like iced coffee should, and the quesitos nailed it with the honey coating and cream cheese filling. Definitely a new staple for us in Orlando!

This place was so amazing! If I lived here I would be here all the time! The service was amazing and the food and coffee was even better! Plus everything is super reasonably priced! I would definitely recommend! Also, I have a mild gluten intolerance, and while it's not safe from cross contamination, there are several options that are made without gluten which was super exciting for me!

Melany provided spectacular service at Mecatos. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. She made me feel welcome the entire time and made sure I had everything I needed. On top of that, she works with such positive energy and a great attitude that it truly enhances the whole experience. Everyone was so kind throughout my whole experience here. My table ordered different varieties of food and our server, Marla, brought out different sauces and explained them to us so we could add them to our meals. The food is scrumptious! And their pastries and dessert are fantastic every time I come. My personal favorite is their pan de bono!

This is their newest location! Went in on my lunch break & was very pleased with the speedy, polite service I recieved! The only error was that they gave me someone else's food which i did not even notice to be quite honest. It was delicious though. They apologized for the misshap and still let me leave with the original order I had placed. Also, the regular coffee is not very good. The prices are decent for the quality of food you recieve. The location has a great vibe to it also. Can not wait to try their pastries on my next visit.

I used to get the small latte and it used to be the same size as the small drink. Now it’s smaller for the same price of 4.95. It’s not worth it anymore… :(

I order 3 beef empanadas ( which are my favorite they are so good) but they gave me 2 beef one Hawaiian. Hawaiian!! I was very disappointed when I bit in to it. I HATE Hawaiian. This is simply not ok. They are sorted on their separate trays in the glass so I don’t understand how this happened.

The inside of the café is very nice, and the staff are pleasant and welcoming. However, I was under the impression that all Mecatos locations follow the same standard of food quality, and that doesn’t seem to be the case at this location. I ordered a few cheese empanadas and left disappointed. I understand that many businesses are navigating difficult economic times, but that should not come at the expense of product quality or customer experience. I always LOVE the cheese empanadas from Mecatos. It was my first time stopping at this location to find the empanadas were more than half empty, with barely any cheese inside. It genuinely felt as though the portion was reduced to save on cost, but that’s not something a customer should have to absorb. I essentially paid for air. I will not be purchasing from this location again.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience really deserves to be shared. The food was actually very good, which makes this even more frustrating. Unfortunately, the customer service was some of the worst I’ve experienced. From the moment I arrived, the staff seemed uninterested and impatient. Simple questions were met with attitude, and I felt like an inconvenience rather than a customer. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere that made it hard to enjoy the meal. A restaurant should make people feel welcome, and that did not happen here. Because of the way I was treated, I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to others. Hopefully, management takes steps to improve how guests are treated.

While the food itself was great, the customer service was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, the staff was rude, unprofessional, and very disrespectful throughout my visit. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, which completely took away from what could have been a good experience. Good food alone is not enough when customers are treated poorly. Respect and basic professionalism should be standard, and that was clearly lacking here. Because of this, I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I do not plan on returning. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving how customers are treated.

As a Hispanic customer, I was especially disappointed by the way I was treated during my visit. I came in expecting to feel welcomed and respected, but instead, I was met with poor attitude and a lack of courtesy from the staff. It was hurtful and frustrating to feel disrespected in a place where I expected cultural understanding and warmth. On top of that, the wait time was unreasonably long, even for simple coffee orders. After waiting far too long, the drinks were still poorly prepared and clearly rushed. My coffee was incorrect, poorly mixed, and lacked the quality you would expect. What made this experience even more frustrating was the lack of urgency and accountability. There was no apology for the delay and no real effort to fix the mistakes. It felt like customer satisfaction was not a priority at all. I believe in supporting Hispanic-owned and Hispanic-staffed businesses, but experiences like this make it difficult. Respect, quality, and professionalism should be standard. Unfortunately, this location failed in all three. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to others.
