The first time I came here was February 12th and everything was great!The young lady at the counter who took my order was friendly and I could not complain about my order which was double chicken tostada bowl. But the last three times I have returned, the service is not very reaĺly welcoming, it's not unwelcoming either, it's just there... blah... And each time after my first visit, I have noticed that the server skimps on the beans and rice at the bottom of the tostada bowl. Server also forgets to give me bag of tostada chips that comes with order. I don't like doing Google reviews, but I do like the restaurant and would like to be served with consistency. Really, that's all I want since I'm paying the same all the time I should get the same quality and quantity of food.I ordered through the kiosk in the restaurants and my order number was#8096. For example, not that I'm comparing, Cane's restaurant Is always consistent in the quality and quantity and freshness of their food.ALWAYS!

Upon entering the restaurant to wash our hands to get ready to eat there was an employee locked the mans bathroom for over 30 minutes. It's not a 1 man's bathroom. I Ordered salsa verde quesadilla combo which was just a tortilla with a bit of cheese worst i ever had . and 2 salads for the parents. They did not like the salads either. They wanted ranch but wasn't given any. It Was our first time trying el Pollo loco. Never again This staff really ruined it for us

I’ve been recently coming here and as of now This location let me down. I ordered at the drive-thru and ordered a classic chicken tostada and a chips and queso blanco. Upon opening the bag, the bag of totopos was missing and opening the tostadas there was only 10 pieces of chicken ( I kinda counted). Was truly disappointed on what I saw that spent $14 ( including the chips and queso blanco)…..a rip off.

This place is a hit or miss. Love Pollo loco but they rarely get what I order right. I frequent this location a lot and I'm always either missing the chips from the combo or the cilantro sauce for the salad or tostada bowl. Just beyond annoyed at the lack of attention to orders.

This has to be the worse managed pollo loco I've been to. Can't remember the last time they got my order correct and they almost never has chicken ready to go. They need to clean house and start over

Just had the worst experience at El Pollo Loco. Terrible customer service. The staff was completely inattentive, didn’t greet anyone, didn’t seem to care about getting the order right, and acted like they couldn’t be bothered. Waited forever, food was wrong, and when I tried to speak up, I was ignored.

Honestly I love coming to pollo loco it’s always the best on the go meal . I just left the university location and this gentleman working the drive through was either on some type of narcotic because he was slow and rude….. he rolled his eyes when I asked for salsa and there wasn’t even any in the bag and my drink wasn’t filled all the way . I don’t want to sound like a Karen or be rude in any way but service is service no matter the time of day I’m pregnant and this is all I crave I’m so disappointed 9:20 7/2/25

We ordered through drive thru and ordered a family meal with three large sides. When we got home we saw that the containers were half full and they gave us the wrong chicken. We were also overcharged! I spoke to the manager on duty which she informed me that the reason they filled the side of containers half full was because the GM was getting after them because the containers were being filled to the top! THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! How are we to feed our family of five if we are being scammed out of food!

Ordered an Original Pollo Bowl to go. By the time I got home, there was no chicken in the bowl. I paid for a Pollo Bowl but got beans and rice.

Ordered a 16 pc family got nothing but burn chicken, and dried. Thanks for ruining our family dinner. We eat here frequently but not anymore after this experience. Paid over $40

No BUENO My husband bought me lunch today on University and I found a bluish plastic item in my salad I salad I stopped eating it due to the fact that I am 5 months pregnant and it could have harmed me and my unborn child. I love pollo loco salad but at this moment I'm not gonna eat there until I get a response why or how that blue plastic got in my salad. I understand there's mistakes made but at least if someone can answer my calls that would be great.

The order took forever to come out through the drive-thru. You could see into the restaurant how the manager's nasty attitude had the understaffed crew at nerves end. We still had to get down, after quickly moving out of line, since the cars were piling behind us, to ask for our drinks since they completley forgot to give them to us. Mind you we asked for all cherry cokes NO ICE. After a long drive home, I was sad to see the portion of chicken in a "Pollo Bowl" this is what I always order at every Pollo Loco I've ever been to, and this place is clearly not following serving sizes. Especially when their "Pollo Bowl" should have white meat chicken, this was a complete disgust. Dark meat chicken (with bones still attached), bland flavorless rice and dry beans 😖. Now I know, drive to the next Pollo Loco, don't waste your time or money here.
