Stopped in to get some amazing, fresh ice cream after a delicious lunch. Never disappointed when it comes to Fat Cat Creamery. They always have amazing flavors and the tastes are intense. I had the Hard-core Chocolate and Peanut butter banana!!!

The coffee ice cream is tasty. It has little coffee bits in it and isn't too strong coffee tasting, just the perfect mix. The waffle cone is def made in house and is soft but not too soft where it doesn't t hold up with melted ice cream. They have a lot of variety then just waffle cone and ice cream. I saw push ups like we had when we were kids or Gato tacos. If I didn't live so far I would of gotten a to go pint of the coffee ice cream to take home.

The woman in the shop was very kind and helpful. The ice cream DELICIOUS, the sorbet DELICIOUS!!!! My children loved the homemade waffle cones, I even tasted it and it definitely was the best waffle cone I have ever had. The TX Tin Roof was my children's favorite and fiancé enjoyed milk+cookies. My strawberry lemonade sorbet push pop, was not only nostalgic but was to die for. So gooood. If I am ever in Houston again I would definitely, come back. Highly Recommend, especially cause of the outdoor seating as well.

The place is small and cute but the flavors pack a punch! The butter popcorn flavor actually takes like popcorn, with a slight burnt flavor! I ended up getting the whisky butter pecan on a waffle cone, a classic! The sitting area was cute.

Jason is very kind, funny and patient. It was my first time and never heard of this business. They were open late as I was craving ice cream after an event. The flavors were interesting. So I went ahead with his suggestions and they were on point. I forgot which ones I had, but one was with beer and the other with rum. They were delicious on a waffle. Definitely going back

Small nice store. The owner is really sweet and friendly. She offered us to try as many flavors as we wanted. I chose hot chocolate flavor but it was quite sweet for me. $3.85 for a scoop and each additional one is $1.60. If you want a cone, it’s $1.50 extra. Store is quite small but they do have outside seats.

Staff was the best. Ice cream was awesome. Service size was a little meeeehhh .. ( got the milkshake vanilla asked for largest size got a regular size cup and told this was there largest size for milkshakes ..) we need larger cup options. Thanks 😊 ✌️

I went to Fat Cat Creamery in the Stomping Grounds of Houston, which is a great little development and currently the only ice cream spot in that area. Fat Cat Creamery is a woman-owned, Houston-based ice cream company that started in 2011 after the founders couldn’t find good craft ice cream in the city. They make small-batch ice cream completely from scratch using Texas whole milk, heavy cream, egg yolks, and locally sourced ingredients, and they also emphasize environmentally friendly, compostable packaging. The ice cream itself is clearly high quality, with unique and well-executed flavors. That said, I am very particular about ice cream texture and prefer a harder, more frozen style that you can really bite into. Fat Cat’s ice cream is very soft and melty, which just isn’t my personal preference. [ICE CREAM] +Small-Batch Ice Cream By The Scoop for $4.25 – The flavors are good and thoughtfully made, but the texture is very soft and melts quickly. It’s not bad ice cream by any means, just not the style I personally enjoy. - 3.5/5 Overall, Fat Cat Creamery is doing something right and clearly has a strong following, especially if you like softer, creamier ice cream. I appreciate their presence in Stomping Grounds and the quality of ingredients, but the texture keeps this from being a favorite for me.

The options are very good and it’s a cute looking icecream place but my experience with the staff was a bit weird. Maybe it was the time of the day I went because it almost close to store closing time and staff probably was just done for the day so I felt their ambiance wasn’t very pleasant. Nevertheless, apart from that minor hiccup it’s a good icecream spot. Plenty of free parking at the location.

Hot day today ! So why not ice cream ! Saw this place looked good , stopped by ! Loved the environment ! Loved the names of the ice creams ! Ordered a cone ( homemade waffle cone ) 2 scoops ! Almond cloud and stone cold cream Austin , had great flavor ! The topper of all the ice cream was the Taco Sandwich ! Delicious 😋🤤 !! Definitely will be going back !

Great place for ice cream and floats. Plenty of choices and flavors. One can even get an old time float with good old fashion root beer. The place is small with a little seating available. There are a few outside seating areas but they have no shade. It is difficult to get in and out dew to construction in the area. However the difficulties are well worth it. The flavors and taste of this creamery selections are fantastic. Because we were full from dinner, we shared the "Birthday Sundae", however anything is worth it here. Yes they offer limited sample tastes.
